Great location if you want to be in the energy of the Theatre District. A short walk to Boston Common which is beautiful. Steven set us up perfectly and made our stay very easy.
The location of this Airbnb is extremely convenient. It’s walking distance to so many amenities and the T public transportation.
So rented unit due to location from business I had to do work at, first day one of the bathrooms had a big leak from ceiling with black stains that looked to be mold, then we had to use all towels to soak up leak, new towels were delivered next day but had a pile of wet towels in bathroom for whole stay and the four of us shared a bathroom. Next is the couch which is very uncomfortable and worn to the point the springs are felt when sitting so we didn’t use that space, next it was very noisy could hear people walking around tvs blasting and screaming and yelling either from outside or inside not sure but was very difficult to sleep, also no amenities at all which I wouldn’t of complained about on its own but tied in with everything else was disappointed and unusual with my experiences with other Airbnb’s make sure you have hand soap, body soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo, coffee etc. We worked longer and finished job quicker so we could leave early and paid extra for early flight home.
Honestly for the price we paid I expected a lot better and more updated accommodation. Place is run-down, no laundry in unit, no toiletries provided, no elevator making it difficult to lug 3 carseats upstairs. While the apartment did have 4 queen beds in 4 identical rooms we encountered some issues with our stay that don't reflect the price we paid. We were also charged an additional $200 for a pet fee which we are used to with our 7 lb dog, however the fee was raised due to this accommodation being part of Helping Hands and needing to be medically cleaned. Which is great but the apartment was in no means medically cleaned acceptable; as a health care provider. There was black mold on the ceiling in one of the bathrooms, moldy sponge provided to clean the dishes and dust/dirt throughout. We encountered noise from the upstairs neighbors into the night till 2am. We were travelling with 3 little kids. Location is next to a park and metro with walkable restaurants. Overall, the apartment was good. The location was great, and the check-in and check-out processes were very easy. The beds were comfortable, and the linens and towels were nice. We did have a few smaller issues. We had some heavy bags and the elevator was important to us. However, we couldn't access it from the entrance without going up or down a flight of stairs. The apartment was very spartan, and there wasn't much room to hang out for an apartment that can sleep up to 8 people. Only one bathroom had a vent, and that bathroom was not in the best shape. The only lighting in the common areas were bright overhead lights, and all the bedrooms had transom windows above the doors, which caused some problems for our kids that had an earlier bedtime. Some of the blinds in the bedroom were also not in good repair, and let in a lot of light in the morning. Finally, the A/C was very cold in the common areas, and didn't cool the bedrooms very much, which wasn't great during a heat wave.

I booked this place for one night for my birthday with a bunch of friends & it was perfect! Super close walking distance to so many things in Boston this was a great place to stay.
We were a group of 6 with myself, my husband, two kids, and two grandparents, and this was an incredibly convenient location. It made travel to the local sites easy and enjoyable. There are also many restaurants in the area so it made finding meals easy as well. All in all it made for a great base-camp for our family holiday!
AMAZING FROM START TO FINISH! Excellent communication from the moment I reserved the booking. Precisely detailed instructions. The apartment was more than what I expected. Clean, convenient and private. We didn't experience and human traffic at any time walking into the building or out the building. The neighborhood is a typical downtown neighborhood, so expect some not so pleasant types walking around. But I did not feel threatened, scared or uncomfortable at any time. Parking is not ideal in the area, but I found an excellent parking lot that was around the block from the apartment and coincidentally was able to see my car and the lot out the windows. So felt my car was safe. Cost was $50.00 from Saturday afternoon till Monday Afternoon. As long as I didn't leave and come back. It's cheaper to take uber as parking lots charge $50.00 and up all over the area. Going back to the AirBnB. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you!!!
Great stay for a last minute trip to Boston. Hosts were very responsive. Air BnB was in a great location with many restaurants in walking distance. Some of the floors and walls are a little scuffed up, but for the price and location you can’t beat it. It was also very clean and beds were very comfortable.

An ok place if you're planning to visit in a group. Not a terrible location in terms of access to some restaurants and bars, parks, and public transportation. However, the building is in a less desirable neighborhood. The pictures in the listing do match, but the pictures also leave a lot of stuff out (unfinished paint in many spots, damaged dry wall and overall seems run down for the price). I was expecting aesthetics to be in a mid range hotel chain, not a shady run down motel in a ghetto. Another misleading part of the ad was listing washer/dryer under amenities; I assumed it was in the apartment and I will admit, that was my bad for assuming that. Otherwise, everything else about the stay (correct number of rooms/beds, linen and towels available, tidy apartment) was ok. I still say ok because of the overall cost. Even if traveling in a group, if you're not going to be splitting it by more than 4 ways, might as well stay in a hotel.

For the money we paid to stay I thought the apartment was run down. Th apartment is in dire need of a paint job, the blinds were in rough shape and the springs in the couch were broken. The location of the apartment was great especially if you have a young family as there is a great park across the street and easy walking to multiple locations the apartment was not all that quite. The people above us were noisy and at 7:15 am there was multiple men directly outside our window doing maintenance The exit door leaving the building was malfunctioning and proved to be very difficult to exit the building which in an emergency could be very dangerous. All in all The apartment was clean and the number of bedrooms was a plus however I think it could be updated to make the stay a lot nicer for the money

This location can't be beat. You can't find 4 clean bedrooms and 2 clean bathrooms with a living space for less than this. It was a great value - we enjoyed each having our own space. We had 4 people and had plenty of space to spread out.

The location is as good as it can get. Right in downtown, walking distance to pretty much everything; train station, attractions, great restaurants and bars. The property itself is pretty neat..gives a loft like vibe. It was very clean and bright The management leaves a lot to be desired. Wrong access code was sent to us making check in process a little bumpy. In one of the bathrooms, the shower curtain rod kept falling because the tension mechanism was not working. The bathroom fan was broken and the sink was backing up after each use. In the kitchen, there were only 3 tumblers for 7 of us. I let the property management know. Minor stuff but it does need attention. Will certainly cosider staying there again.

The apt is fine, don’t get me wrong but there are some things that others may want to know prior to booking. 1. The water pressure or flow restrictors in the showers will cause you to double or triple your normal shower time. (I was told this was fixed before I booked, it wasn’t) 2. Shower curtain lays a foot into the shower floor, curtain rod will not extend to the keep the curtain up. 3. Very minimal - bedrooms only have a bed and tiny nightstand. 4. No washer/dryer
This place was 10/10 for location—so walkable to all parts of the city! Cafes, bars, and restaurants all within the same block. The place has a minimalist vibe but has comfy beds and clean towels and two bathrooms. Perfect place to stay for a group of friends checking out a new city.

This AirBnB was exactly what we needed. It easily accomodated all 8 of us who stayed there. It was easy find and the hosts gave great instructions on how to access the unit. It felt very safe and secure. Very close to lots of great attractions, and it was very in a walkable location. A lot of great bars and restaurants near by. Hosts were great and easily accomodated our requests. Responded quickly to all messages. Would stay here again!

The place was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. The area was a bit rough at night, so caution needed. The apartment was run by a larger group, and there were a few times that it showed. We accidentally left a bag there and asked if they could hold it aside for us. We ended up getting a response along the lines of "per our guidelines anything left is your fault." There are not a lot of airbnbs in the city and I think the way they classified the place lets them rent without restriction. If you have a bigger group, certainly a cheaper option than hotel, just don't expect any customer service.
Overall we had a good stay, the place was very clean, the hosts’ team was very responsive, and the location was great. Beds were comfortable and linens were provided, but no hangers were in the closets and there was no place to put our luggage or clothing as only one small night stand was in each room with a very dim table lamp. The lighting throughout the house was poor- bathrooms were very dim and the light over the stove did not work so only the harsh overhead lighting was available for the main gathering area. The couch sagged considerably and was uncomfortable. One bathroom fan did not work and another was very loud. One bathroom had the towel bar broken off and the holes were spackled but not painted and the towel bar was not replaced. There was also practically no hot water in the showers. Only small tubes of 2-in-1 shampoo and cheap bar soap were provided in bathrooms. A nice stay but should be higher quality for the price they are charging.

Perfect place but the parking is expensive, we never find a parking place in the street so we have to put our car in the Hyatt hotel and we pay 40$ each day of parking, the apartment it’s perfect and well located it is just that we didn’t expect to pay so much for the parking

We had a good stay at this 4 BR 2 BA unit next to Boston Commons and walkable to the T. There was construction going on in our street, which made Uber pickup and dropoff a little tricky. The elevator is still not operational, and we could not get the dishwasher to work, but otherwise, the apartment served us well. Washer/Dryer are NOT in the unit, and are downstairs in the basement. To use them, you have to buy a card and load credit onto the card (no quarters). Parking is expensive in the area and Steven pointed us in the direction of SpotHero, which was helpful. The couch's middle cusion was very uncomfortable, and the common living area could use some better lighting. We had a fire alarm early one morning, and it appears that the whole building is comprised of BNB renters.

This four bedroom apartment worked perfectly for our weekend sisters getaway. We each had our own bedroom and two bathrooms were appreciated greatly. The location was perfect for walking to the Commons and Chinatown and public transportation was very close as well.

Really good space, in a great location next to Boston Common. Spotless bedrooms and bathrooms, which I very much appreciate! I will say that some of the furniture was kind of low-quality for the price of this unit (super wobbly console table in TV room, and cheap bathroom mirror in main bath) and the beds were a pretty firm, but all else was great. I was worried it would be noisy at night since it’s a multi-unit building in the city, but it never was. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!
Had a great one night's staying in Steven's place with a film crew working locally. Was happy to have responsiveness and a team that was attentive to our needs and concerns (Like storing our luggage/equipment after arriving in the city earlier that expected). The historic city of Boston is within walking distance, one of the best perks. Would recommend for a short stay!
Excellent location, decent rooms. Lots of light despite being on the second floor. The two bathrooms is really convenient. The kitchen is well equipped, lots of options for cooking. Electronic locks are installed. The Boston Commons is right across the street. Located next to Downtown Crossing, which is more or less a hub for all of the subway service. A decent grocery store is right around the corner. Nagging points are the hot water being slightly unreliable, the creaky floor and poor sound isolation from the common areas and apartments above.
Had a fun time. Great place with great location. Communication was very responsive. Only reco is to fix the light/fan in the first bathroom so that it’s not so loud and has some more light.

This place was perfect for our group of 5, although it accommodates more. The location was awesome! Walkable but also a quick, inexpensive Uber ride to the Seaport area. Check in was easy, the hosts were super quick to respond, and the place looks just like the pics. It was also very clean. I definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Hi, This was a great place to stay. Incredible location. We stayed with 6 people and the place was very accommodating the amount of people we had. However, washer and dryer was listed as part of the unit (per my understanding) but it is part of the building.

There were some good things and some bad things. On the upside the location was excellent! Additionally the beds and the bedding were wonderful. And they were spacious and numerous bedrooms for the size of the apartment. On the downside, there were zero wine glasses, the whole apartment is in need of a paint job, there are unfinished hole repairs in the bathroom, many scuff marks on the floor, and seating for only 4 in the living room. The couch is also quite worn. But as noted above there are several pros!! Check in was disappointing- paid for early check in and the apartment was not clean upon arrival but it was quickly remedied!
This apartment was very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. it was in a fantastic location, central to many transport options and shops. There was one long set of stairs though which was a bit tricky with a heavy bag, but the apartment was great and I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Great location and clean property. Close to Boston common and the freedom trail. Check in process was easy and communication from hosts was clear and timely. Cons: apartment is noisy. We heard a lot of noise from the adjacent stairs and the unit above. Condition of the unit is a bit rough- patched drywall and a broken mirror in the bathroom. For the price and based on photos would have expected better condition. For a short stay was an okay property.
This was an absolute gem of a location. The beds were SUPER comfortable in ALL bedrooms. The owners respond to any and all inquiries within ONE HOUR (extremely efficient and responsible). Apartment was 100% clean. My only slightly negative comment is the soundproofing. If you're sitting in the living area, one can really hear everything going on out in the hall and in the next units. I will say that the soundproofing in the bedrooms is much better - one cannot hear as much from the bedrooms, making a decent night sleep. Overall - excellent stay. Great place.

You get as advertised! 4 rooms with pretty comfortable full/queen beds wedged in there, with a solid living/breakfast area. There are 2 "full" bathrooms, with showers that try to have water pressure and limited shelf space. But if your goal is to rock Boston as much as possible, this is your joint! Location is bananas, a block from the Common and access to all the rest.

This unit is in a bit of a busy neighborhood, but if you're hoping to explore various neighborhoods in Boston, you can't go wrong with this unit! Easy entry and exit, lot of restaurants and bars walking distance, and tons of shopping right in the neighborhood. It's a busy street so expect to see folks outside a lot, but it's a city so that's to be expected!

Location was spacious and spotless. Full kitchen setup is great. 2 bathrooms helps ensure no lines. The beds are on the firmer side (speaking as somebody who prefers a softer mattress) but the pillows are the best, so soft. Location was great for enjoying what Boston has to offer, and was quiet enough to fall asleep in easily. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location! we couldn't ask for a better one. Most places to go are within 15-20 minutes walking. 24/7 public parking is 4 minutes walking (look in google maps for Lafayette Garage). Great for a family vacation. Steven is a great host and was available for any question we had within minutes.

Great location, steps away from the orange line. Layout was perfect for 5 people, there was enough room for all of us to have privacy. Convenient to spot hero parking. A block away from Boston Common. Keyless entry and very secure. Steps from Democracy Brewing for a drink and something to eat in the evening and steps from some great breakfast/brunch locations. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would again when coming to Boston.
Very clean. Nice to have 4 rooms to spread out. VERY well located. Minutes away from visitor center where many walking tours start. The key historical sites are within 15-20 minute walk. The only issue was unpredictability of hot water. Be sure to reach out to your host if you have an issue. The water went cold for us but turned piping hot within minutes of reaching out to my host. Not sure why. I’ll said, I would stay here again.

- Great location in the heart of Boston - Sufficiently spacious apartment, ideal for short stays - Comfortable beds - Very responsive host to any questions you may have Points of attention to future occupants: - There is no elevator (consider the one mentioned to be down indefinitely). However, access by stairs is simple (wide staircase) and direct (only one floor to climb). - Hot water is common to all occupants of the building and available in small quantities. You will not all be able to shower one after the other at "traditional" times. However, it comes back relatively quickly (about 30min) The pressure is also rather low. - There are washing machines in the basement, but the service is not free.

Location was AMAZING! Perfectly located downtown. The water pressure was low in one bathroom and the hot water went out on day two. They got it fixed later that day but we started our day with super cold showers. Host were quick to communicate!
Place is in a fantastic central Location. 4 Rooms is nice. There was no hot water at all and that sucked after a transatlantic flight. The $250 cleaning fee also sucked for 1 night.
Cold to lukewarm shower with no water pressure. Our young daughters nearly froze and couldn't get all the shampoo from their hair. Each evening we were told they would look at it again tomorrow. Convenient location and comfortable beds. We would stay again if we didn't need to bathe.
Can't beat the location and host was so responsive! Unit was clean, spacious and great space for our group. Giving three stars because unit is below another airbnb and those renters were so loud - running around, dropping things and just generally loud whenever they were in the unit. Did mention it to our host and he did what he could do, but it didn't improve. Also, unit is next to a staircase and there was a party or large group one night so lots of noise up and down staircase.
This apartment was the perfect location....in walking distance to almost everything with bus station across street and subway/metro on the same street. Building's elevator was out which was a nuisance for checking in with all our luggage. Apartment itself was clean and 4 bedrooms were comfortable. The main issue was the hot water or lack of....showers were Luke warm at best. One shower, in particular, was tricky with a tiny shower head. Lighting in the bathroom and living room were dim and difficult to see. Beds and linens were comfortable and allowed our family to spread out. Host responded right away when I head a question....a huge plus! I would stay here again as long as the water heater was serviced or changed.
I had a wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as posted. Previous reviews were helpful to prepare me with anything I may need (I did bring an extra mirror), however there were mirrors in the bathrooms. The house is spectacular and the pictures did it justice, although I found the bedrooms to be bigger than I had originally expected! The beds were comfortable to sleep in. There were no poor surprises. The elevator was out of order, which is no one’s fault, but it was extremely easy to access the apartment. Communication was very, very fast and easy. I received replies within minutes. The location was nice. I parked in a valet garage down the street and it was close by and easy to get to. I was given detailed and thoughtful directions to access the apartment and was left with no questions! An easy and relaxing stay, for sure.

Some things to keep in mind: if you have young babies… travel with a black out slumberpod” this place gets a lot of light into the room from both the tall windows and livingroom light. The location is good. The apartment needs furniture for unpacking. I was surprised that there wasn’t a dresser or shelf or luggage rack in each room. Everyone had to store their clothes in their suitcase. We had cold showers and low water pressure. The elevator wasn’t working the 5 days we were there. The lighting in the bathroom was bad, but there were no other mirrors to use. For the price, I expected more.
Great apartment for doing everything around Boston. Steps from the common. Super clean, highly accessible host that were super responsive and accommodating. Since it is in the heart of downtown crossing, there tends to be quite a bit of late night noise, but it didn’t matter for our group. Just something to be aware of.

Bring earplugs. People upstairs kept us up every night. All night. Rooms are a little claustrophobic with beds up against the walls (pictures show this) but otherwise nice and bright. Maybe we had bad timing but there was unending traffic above us until 3AM all four nights we were there.
Very nice and flawless apartment, perfect for a small group. Perfectly located. We found the place to be quiet for a downtown location. Very nice restaurant choices within 5 minute walk (like Yvonnes and Café Bonjour). Very easy check-in and quick answers from the managers. Absolutely perfect

The apartment is very nice and very well located by the Common in Boston. I experienced two issues that prevent me from giving it a full 5 star rating. The most significant is that the elevator in the building is broken and has been for some time according to other residents. The only access to the apartment is up a very steep flight of stairs. I was with my 90 year old parents who had tremendous difficulty navigating those stairs every day. This issue was never communicated before our arrival, and had it been we would have made other arrangements. The second issue is that there are no dressers in the bedrooms or suitcase racks. There are no cabinets in the bathrooms. The towel rack in one of the bathrooms was broken so there was no place to hang up towels and no place for toiletries except on the floor. For a long stay it is ridiculous to have to live out of a suitcase on the floor. And again, with 90 year olds, it isn't right that people need to keep bending over to pick things up from the floor since there is literally nowhere else to place anything. Otherwise the property is exactly as advertised.
Perfect spot for my band in town for a show! Even better than the listing. Great location. Even though we only had 4 there would be more than enough space for 8-especially with two full baths. Also paid parking lot behind the building was awesome. Definitely recommend!
Place is in good location, accessible to everything, train, buses and right next to Boston Common. Many good food options right on the street and shopping. Good for large group, rooms are narrow but high ceilings, that makes rooms bigger, but expected in the middle of the city. Communication from the host was promt even late at night.
Great location, clean, bright, perfect for families. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of room. The location couldn’t be better!! We will definitely be coming back.
Stayed here with a few friends and we had a great time! The Airbnb was very clean and in a great location that we were able to walk or catch the train to many places we wanted to see. Steven was quick to respond to any questions we had and was very helpful. I am definitely staying here again when I’m in Boston!

What an incredible stay with the Healing Homes Team. Our stay was wonderful in a very nice, clean home and the location could not have been better. We were able to walk everywhere and public transportation/metros were close. The space was perfect for our group of five - great sized rooms and a good sized common area for us to gather after our day out. I highly recommend booking with Healing Homes Team. They are quick (as in matter of minutes) to respond to any communications and were so accommodating. They do amazing work and we're more than happy with our experience and look forward to our next trip out and staying with them!

Steven’s place was as described, very conveniently located, only steps away from Boston Common. The check-in process was very smooth, would have been perfect if check-in time was earlier than 5 PM, but only a detail. I recommend this apartment.
This apartment is in a great location --we were able to walk everywhere. All the beds were extremely comfortable. We had some issues with hot water, even during non-peak times. Steven responded immediately to any question or concern I had, even late in the evening. I would stay here again.
This was a perfect stay for me and 4 friends who each wanted a bedroom at a reasonable price. The location is great and Steven was very accommodating with us on our check-in and check-out with weather difficulties. Overall would highly recommend!

Nice apartment with a fantastic location! Lots to do in the area and easy to get around.
The location is amazing, and the place is so clean and spacious! The host is very quick on replying to your questions and needs. Although there are no parking spaces that comes with the place, there are plenty of parking places nearby. Plus, Boston Commons is 1 minute walk away and perfect for a morning stroll. Very pleased with my stay and definitely recommend!

Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
