Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Right in the heart of downtown and easy to walk to wherever you wanted to go! (Faneuil market, historic sites, etc). We had one issue with one of our showers while we were staying which unfortunately wasn’t resolved while we were there. Maintenance did have to enter our unit, however the host’s communication and professionalism was top notch about the situation. We would stay again and recommend this place to anyone in Boston!
This was a great location, easy access to multiple subway stops and walkable to all the major historic downtown attractions. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed.
This was perfect for our trip! There were seven of us who stayed here, and there was plenty of space. Bathrooms are small, but even with 4 young adult girls, we managed with no problem! Beds were quite comfortable. Location was amazing, central to everything. Seamless check-in and quick correspondence when needed. I would definitely recommend!

Small kitchen and living area but we were not there to stay inside!

We brought our family of 5 (kids ages 12,11, & 5) to Boston for a 4 day vacation. This unit is in a prime location where we did most of our sightseeing on foot. We recommend walking to Cambridge through Boston Common and then the esplanade, seeing the MIT museum, and taking the train back. If you have a vehicle use Spothero to find a garage in the neighborhood (I used the one at 88 Kingston) which was secure and clean.

This was a great place to stay! It’s close to everything you need in Boston and for a great price. Only complaint is the parking, no parking on street and you need to park in a nearby garage which can be expensive. But that’s what you get from getting a place in Boston. 10/10 recommend

Great location for exploring Boston on foot/via public transportation. Close to the common, bars and restaurants. As other reviews note, the bathrooms are very dark and there is a bit of street noise. One of the bedrooms doesn’t have central heat, but the space heater provided was sufficient. The linens and towels were very clean and the beds were comfortable: it’s a great spot to have as a home base for exploring. We didn’t spend a ton of time there. There was salt and pepper, full ice cube trays, and a coffee maker with filters.
Loved our trip to Boston. Steven's location is central to everthing and right beside Boston Common and Macy's. Union Oyster House, Paul Revere's Home, and Old North Church were all within a 15 minute walk. Can't say anything bad about the location or host! Only small hiccup was that the heat didn't warm past 68 on the 2nd day (after being 74 the first) day and there was an issue with the building's heat. It didn't get colder which was good and they brought us 4 space heaters which kept the place warm. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did! PS, we took a 1 year old and the house was baby proof enough :)

Steven was very responsive. Great location. We missed that there was a 5:00 check in but Steven allowed us to park our bags in the room ahead of checkin which was great. Main issue we had was with the lack of hot water for large portions of the day. To avoid sitting around all day to wait for the hot water, we took cold showers on 2 of our 4 days. There is a paid parking lot just outside on the street level and the noise Friday and Saturday nights was excessive making it hard to sleep even with ear plugs. The AC unit wasn’t cooperating so it was quite warm in the room and we couldn’t open the windows due to the noise. Not really a problem, but it was disappointing the minimal amenities especially in the kitchen area.
Three friends and I visited Boston and stayed here. it's a great location, was clean and had everything we needed. Having 4 bedrooms was a plus so we could each have our own room. I would definitely try to stay here again when in Boston and highly recommend it.

Great location near Boston Common with so much to do in walking distance. Escape room, coffee shop, book store, clothes shopping, bar, park, etc. all within 5 minutes walking was a great experience. I would definitely recommend staying here for the location alone. On top of that, the check-in instructions were clear, place was decently spacious for a group of 7, and was very clean with all the towels you need.

This place was central, perfect for walking around. It's conveniently located near Boston Common, which is a large park. We were able to walk to every train station nearby, Uber was easy to get as well. The apartment is small but amazingly space efficient! We had a party of 8 and everyone was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with basic items that we were able to make small meals. The beds and linens were comfortable. We felt well rested. We would come again!

Location, location, location with this apt. I rented it with my family and a friend to spend a few days in Boston without having to deal with a car or subway. We walked everywhere with no issues, and it felt very Bostonian to walk out the door each morning to see the Commons. Well located compared to all the tourist sites and some nice restaurants. The unit itself is very nice, giving everyone in my group their own bedroom. The place was very clean with nice sized beds in each room. Not a complaint, just as an FYI to help others- the kitchen is very well appointed with cooking ware and utensils/plates, but no basics are provided. So, if you plan to cook, bring/buy your own coffee, salt, pepper, etc.
This was the perfect spot for our family of 4 to explore the city, catch a red sox game, and each have our own room! The bedding and towels were spotless and comfortable after long days. Kitchen and living space were well-stocked. Can’t beat this location, right on the Common and near a T station (4 stops to Fenway), yet the street was very quiet and well-lit at night. Would definitely stay again!

Fabulous location—next to Boston Common, walkable to Freedom Trail, near shopping and subway. The apartment was very clean!! We appreciated the air conditioning for the hot July days! We also took advantage of the late checkout (for a fee) which was very helpful. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) had plenty of space. A few additions would make this place even better: more lighting in bathrooms, updated sink and mirrors in bathrooms, more storage/surfaces in bathrooms and bedrooms, full length mirror, and a desk (needed a place to take Zoom meetings).

We loved our stay here! We received clear instructions on how to find the building and how to enter and the place was the perfect size and comfortable for us all. We were in a perfect location, we walked to Quincey market and to the seaport - we were so close to everything that we wanted to see and enjoyed our day! We were there for a Red Sox game and the entrance to the transit is down the block so it made it easy to get to and find!
Excellent location for touring and sightseeing right across from the Boston Common and a major “T” (subway) stop, however the side street where the unit is located is a little dark and sketchy at night as everything around it closes in the evenings. The unit is very spacious and clean. Common areas are pretty shabby at it appears to be a very old building (not surprising given the location). Be forewarned that it is a third floor walk up with very high ceilings on every level and the elevator is broken, which makes for a tiring multi story climb at the end of a long day of walking. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Finally, the TV is Roku only, no live TV, which means you have to have your own streaming accounts in order to watch anything. Despite these concerns, the location is perfect which makes it overall a good value given the exorbitant cost of hotel rooms in central Boston.

Had a little mishap with the broken elevator but was settled before we arrived. The unit is on the 3rd floor but the elevator was still broken when we arrived and my parents can not climb up and down 3 flight of stairs several times a day. The host offered another place for us to stay so everything turned out well at the end. The host is also very responsive in answering every inquiries we had, including the late check out which we really appreciate. The place is very strategic with lots of restaurants around and a beautiful park within minutes of walking. The price is a bit on a high side but we had a beautiful stay in Boston. Will definitely consider coming back to this place.
This place was more than I expected. it is centrally located near Boston Commons, public transport, and is walkable to many places. communications with the owner were outstanding. whatever I inquired about I received a reply very promptly. Instructions to check in and access the building and unit were clear and straightforward. the beds were uper comfy, the place was clean, and all the linens were fresh and new. We cooked in the kitchen everyday, ordering food from the Whole Foods foe delivery ( I didn't see any local grocery stores). The building is very quiet. I would stay here again.

4 adults had a great stay for 3 nights. Great location with the park and shopping nearby. Nice brewery just downstairs, and close to metro. Room was clean and comfortable. Note that it is on the 3rd floor so there are steps involved.
Host was very accommodating. A group of us stayed for a work conference and enjoyed the location. The mattresses are very comfortable.
Excellent unit and location! As a family of 5, everyone got their own sizeable bedroom with queen beds, and the two bathrooms were big enough to be functional. We actually used one bathroom for the baby's crib at naptime which worked great since it could get totally dark. Kitchen was easy to use and had lots of amenities available. TV worked well and we had access to streaming services. Unit was tidy, clean, and had enough towels to last us our stay (3 days). Great communication leading up to arrival. Location is excellent, as it's walking distance to almost anything you'd need. There are public parking garages nearby with easy access if you have a car (they're expensive, but available!). Overall a great stay and perfect for a larger group - you'd have to pay more for less room for the equivalent stay at a hotel. Great trip!

We stayed in Steven's place for one night. It was okay for a quick in and out, but I would not have wanted to spend any more time there. The beds were comfortable enough, but the bedrooms and living room were tiny and the apartment was very stark, void of any decoration and unwelcoming. It was lacking in basics like coffee, tea, salt, pepper, etc. or enough cups or glasses for 8 people. It sleeps 8, but there is not enough seating in the main living space for 8 people. I am a airbnb host and have stayed all over the world in airbnbs. This one was one of my least favorites.

This Airbnb was great for our group. We were able to walk to many different places for meals, coffee, and drinks. The space itself is large considering it is right by Boston Commons. The host is very responsive, usually replying within 5-10 minutes.
5 stars across the board for the key items - host was very responsive to any questions we had; check-in process was smooth/easy; listing was exactly as described. The place itself is very simple - one small main living area (kitchen/living) and 4 bedrooms. That's it - for us, it worked very well. The location is truly exceptional - right near downtown crossing, right off of Boston common. If I could give it 4.75 stars, I would, as I think that's a more fitting rating here. It's a good value for your money -- but to be clear, the place could use a few minor improvements for a 5 star rating. Nothing serious - but upgrading the windows to limit the outside noise (which is significant on weekends, and at all hours, in our case), and investing in some new furniture (couch was college-grade and tired, the coffee tables were missing screws and wobbly, etc) would add the incremental 0.25 stars to this rating. On the whole though, if you're looking for a great location in a very functional place, look no further.

Very centrally located spot in Boston. Spacious, simple, and good for big groups. Fair warning that parking in the area will cost you another $25ish/day and can be a hassle. Also, check-in here is later than most other Airbnbs (they only let you in after 5pm) -- so keep that in mind.

We booked for a short family vacation. Perfect location for sightseeing with an apartment layout that accommodated our large family of adult children far more comfortably than a hotel would have, and great communication regarding our reservation with nearly instantaneous responses to questions. The apartment is located up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator access that we were aware of so that’s something to know about prior to booking. Parking is not provided but the reservation confirmation information referred us to parking apps that are easy to use to find available parking. We were able to find convenient parking where we could just leave the car for the duration of our stay. Overall an excellent experience.

This place is a great value for a large group. 4 similar size queen size bedrooms and two decent bathrooms. Didn’t use it, but washer/dryer is in the basement. Some of the bedroom windows don’t have drapes and the ones that do don’t block much light so just know that if you are sensitive to light in the morning. Great location across from Boston Commons and two blocks from a grocery store.

This location was perfect for 6 of us who had previously lived in Boston. Access to the building is all through codes which is perfect as we call came and went as we pleased. Some of us arrived earlier and Steven let us check in early which we greatly appreciated. The condo has four separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms with enough space for a perfect weekend getaway. It was well equipped with an ironing board which saved us as we all needed it for wedding clothes! The kitchen had everything we needed (knives, cups, plates etc). The place was well kept and had fast internet. Everything about this place was just as described. You can't beat this location either. We walked everywhere from Seaport, to Newbury, to the North End. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who is visiting Boston!

Had to book last minute travel to Boston and most of the hotels near the office were booked. Everything else was incredibly expensive. I was able to book a short stay and was very please with the apartment and the location. Everything was as described and the location was great. I was worried about noise based on some past reviews - I was on the 3rd floor. It was whisper quiet at night. It might just be the luck of the draw in terms of who is in the apartment above you, but there was no road noise and no other noise to speak of. Overall I would definitely return to this AirBnB

Incredible stay in a fabulous Boston location! We came to Boston from across the globe to celebrate a graduation. Two 90 year old grandmothers, too. Communications with the host was great as was the check in and check out process. The four queen sized bedrooms were really comfortable and the bathrooms completely stocked. The family room kitchen area was perfect for coffee and breakfast and hanging out. Would highly highly recommend staying here and parking your car and exploring. Thank you so much!
Absolutely great location just steps from the Park Street T Station! It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms and 4 queen-sized beds so that our family could all stay together in one space. The kitchen was updated and well-appointed although we ate out the entire visit! So much great food nearby. Check-in was a little bit confusing since we were given specific instructions that took us to the entrance where the elevator was located. The elevator did not work our entire 3-night stay (so we got our workout going up and down to/from the third floor). Knowing where the second entrance (with the stairs) was located would've been helpful on arrival especially since it was after midnight and we were trying to find it in the dark. The value rating I gave was based on the fact that it was graduation weekend in Boston and EVERYWHERE was greatly overpriced...including this unit. I have a feeling that nobody's stay anywhere in Boston was of value that weekend. All in all, it's a great space in a fantastic location and we would stay there again.

Elevator does NOT work. We had to carry very heavy luggage up three flights of stairs. The building smelled like a restaurant, and not in a good way. Living room was very tiny. Bedrooms only has an awkwardly placed beds. The mirror in the restroom is sitting on the sink. Please be careful when booking. The owner manages different properties. Make sure you get the reservation for the property you chose. The only great thing about this property id the location. You are in downtown and everything is pretty accessible.
Great location in central Boston right off the Boston commons. Lots of attractions, restaurants, and shopping around the condo. There are a lot of college students in the building but it was never rowdy and loud. The rooms are very narrow, which you can see in the photos... so if there were two people in a bed, one is against the wall. However the photo of the living room is a bit misleading, the living room does not have a window, that is the bedroom with the window, but the door is so overexposed it looks like a lot of natural light fills the living room space. In fact, it is kind of dark. But this was much better than staying in a hotel and we had 4 bedrooms for 6 people all together. Great stay.

The location is amazing, beds comfortable and the space was very clean. I was disappointed the elevator was down and this wasn’t communicated in advance. There are detailed directions involving the correct entry using the elevator which were not accurate (since you actually had to use the stair entrance) and we had to find out after a long day of travel. Previous review mention three flights of stairs making it a bit challenging with luggage. FYI this is a basic accommodation. Bedrooms are a bit awkward but good to sleep. Blinds didn’t work in two rooms and mirror vanity in one bath room was sitting on sink… so not maintained as well as I would have expected for the price.
This is a fabulous location in Boston. The home was clean with plenty of space for our group of six. The Only draw back is that it has no elevator. We had an older person with us who had difficulty getting up and down the three flights of stairs. But it’s a great place if stairs are not an issue.

What a super location for a 4 bedroom apartment in the middle of Boston with easy access to everything!! Communication was prompt and accurate. Check in was easy. The worst thing of our rental was that the elevator didn't work. There were 45 steep steps to the room. This was difficult for our older members and carrying luggage. We talked with one of the residents of the apartment building. She said she knew the elevator needed to be replaced but didn't think there were plans to do so, and it had been out for 'a long time'. It was awesome having 4 rooms for our group in the heart of Boston despite the small sizes. There wasn't room for each of us to get out of the bed on the side as the bed was pushed against the wall to fit. The street noise was minimal as the wall the rooms are on is recessed back from the Main Street. The blinds that were functioning didn't really stop the sunlight from coming in. The apartment kitchen was adequately equipped. Overall things worked well and we would stay here again.

This Airbnb was perfect. It was centrally located to everything. The host replied back within minutes, after any questions I had. The beds were comfy. Accommodated 7 grown adults just fine. Highly recommend staying here.

Glad we came across this place! Perfect for our group of 4 guys, but would also be great for a bigger family or a group of couples. The location is great - walking distance from a lot of attractions and easy to find, check in, and get checked out. The value for what we got was unbeatable and will be recommending this place to friends and family in the future.

Elevator was not working our entire week long stay. Communication wasn’t great about getting it fixed or other updates. Location was incredible. Overall the stay is pretty bare bones but wonderful location.

We had a great stay, location was perfect. We were missing shower curtains when we arrived and contacted the host when we checked in and they had a set delivered. The only downfall was the elevator broke down on our second day. We had my mother staying with us so climbing to the third floor was very difficult for her so we had to limit our activities. That incident aside I would stay here again in the future!

The location of this apartment is absolutely fantastic!!! We stayed for only 2 nights so were very happy to be right in the middle of everything and next to Boston Common. The place was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a weekend away with friends.
Great central location at Downtown Crossing - walkable everywhere. Convenient to restaurants, shopping, historical sites and subway. Apartment is secure, comfortable and spacious. Provided everything we needed for 4 people with separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. Definitely recommended!

Great communication, great location central to downtown Boston, Beacon Hill, across the street from Boston Commons. If you have a bunch of kids like us it was especially accommodating with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!
Incredible 'headquarters' for any group visiting Boston. In such a tightly packed city, this central location means you can walk to almost anything. With four comfortable beds and two full baths, you'll be ready for every adventure.
Nice apartment 2 blocks from the subway and 2 block from Boston Common. Dozens of open dining options within a short walk. Apartment was easy to find, clean, and comfortable. Great location to explore Boston.

Building was in a great location. The cafe next door was wonderful for breakfast! My only compliant would be the elevator wasn't working and we had to lug our bags up to the third floor. Unit was as described and was perfect for our family for our trip to Boston! Incredible value. Quick and efficient communication. Unit very clean. Would highly recommend!

Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
