Had a wonderful stay at Steven’s place! Very responsive, super cute and comfortable! It was perfect for our 2 night stay! The check in time is 5pm which is a little later than some, but we were able to drop our luggage around 4pm. One thing to note for those 5’3 and shorter, you’ll have a hard time with the mirrors. I had to stand on my toes to do my hair and still couldn’t see, then the only other mirror is in the bedroom but it’s too low to be functional. The noise Sunday night was crazy, but it seemed to calm down Monday! Great location to walk to everything though!!!
Overall, this place was great for our little weekend trip to Boston. We had set out to explore the city early each day and didn’t return until late, so it was a great place to sleep. The bathroom could definitely use an upgrade.. shower was pretty filthy. However, the location was just amazing.
This is one of my favorite spots to stay in while visiting Boston! The area is so walkable and feels very safe. Everything is clean, comfortable, and cozy. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend!
The place was cute, clean, well appointed and close to everything. Fun, funky old building. Be aware, though, this neighborhood is LOUD. I have stayed in a lot of places around the world, and only South Beach in Miami has ever come close to the noise level. This is a great place to stay if you’re in town to party, but maybe avoid it if you’re into sleeping. I hate saying this, because the apartment itself is really functional and nice, and the management was pleasant.
The location was incredible, less than 20 minute walk to most everything we wanted to do, and the few things outside the city were easy enough to get to with an Uber or public transportation. The space looked even better than the photos. Location felt safe, and although it could be loud at night, we brought our own sound machine from home and that totally solved it! We had a great stay!
This was our second time staying at Steven's listing and we absolutely LOVED it! Everything was squeaky clean and we felt right at home. This spot is incredibly close to everything and the natural lighting in the apartment was a nice plus. Hands down, the BEST place you can stay in downtown Boston.

Great location in downtown Boston. The apartment itself is a bit worn down, but it had what we needed. It’s a fairly short walk from South Station, and also the waterfront. About a 5min walk to a T station which will take you to/from the airport.

Stayed for a quick visit. The apartment was as described - simple, clutter-free - and the area was walkable with lots to do. As with any apt building, you do run the risk of the elevator not working. It was out of order during our stay, so the only real downside was walking up 6 flights of stairs.

We had a great overall experience at Steven’s Airbnb in Boston. The location was perfect, with many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Fairly quiet at night but noisy during day, if planning to work while there. The apartment itself was clean, well maintained, and comfortably furnished. However, the late check in (5pm) and the elevator were a bit of a letdown, as the elevator only worked for one day during our stay. Being on the sixth floor and our heavy luggage, made it quite a workout, but aside from that everything else was wonderful. Would definitely recommend for the convenience, location and cleanliness and responsive host.

Great location if you are site seeing in Boston! The apartment was walking distance to a lot of the main sites. Overall the place is well equipped for a long stay. There is a washer and dryer outside of the unit but keep in mind it only takes quarters so make sure you have plenty. At night there was definitely noise from the street but that is to be expected since you are in the middle of a city. I brought ear plugs and those worked great. During my stay the elevator did break, and I know it's not the fault of the host but it is something to keep in mind because the apartment is on the sixth floor so it is quite a hike to get up to the apartment.

Great location. Nice, clean place for a short stay. However, very noisy location and windows in the bedroom were not well insulated. Stayed during a high wind advisory and the draft was coming through a crack in the window, blowing the blinds by the bed pretty badly. Besides that, the place was clean and Steven communicated well about check in/check out.

The room was very clean and well decorated. The view from the 6th floor down the streets was quite nice, and while we only stayed 1 night, it was very enjoyable. As to the cons, it was a bit loud but that can be said for all of Boston. On that note, I would say that the area was very central and within walking distance of a lot of nice places. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay.

Location was great and the place was clean and as described. For sure served its purpose for what I was looking for. Would stay again if I was looking for a multi night stay. Only negative things I would say is that the 5 pm check in and 10 am checkout was something I didn’t realize until after booking. Not the host fault but coupled with a 15 hour stay and 100$ cleaning fee I felt I would have got a bit more value with a multi night stay. Other than that the place could use some curtains, it was private but very bright in the morning. And the elevator was broken upon checkout again, not the host problem but if it’s a consistent problem future guests may want to travel light.
Nice and convenient
The place was clean and very conveniently located. Lots to do and all the high points are easily walkable. The only negatives I would call out are; - Check-in wasn't until 5:00 which puts a bit of a damper if trying to enjoy the city for the day. You have break up your evening to get back to your bags and then get checked in before dinner. Furthermore, on the flip side you need to be out by 10:00 in the morning. Admittedly, they allow for early check-in or check-out but charge separately for both. - The city (particularly this area) can be noisy. Despite being on the 6th floor the windows offered very little noise suppression and it was noisy at night until late and early in the morning. - The simple (and tattered) vertical blinds in the bedroom did little to block the light of the city. It would be nice if they would be replaced and darkening shades added.
The location is great access to the city of Boston. Many places were within walking distance. The accommodations were excellent and would recommend to anyone coming into the Boston area. There is no detail left out at this location.

Good place to stay. great restaurants nearby and fairly walkable. I stayed for a convention so it worked well for me. I like a lot of natural lighting in the morning and the bedroom has this. The bedroom may benefit from having curtains for privacy or for those who like to sleep in a darker room. (in addition to the blinds).

Great location in downtown Boston. Easily accessible. Beautifully kept apartment. I had several dumb questions and got very quick responses that didn't make me feel dumb for asking! I was unfamiliar with Roku TV, and it took me awhile to figure it out, but once I did it was a breeze.
Great stay, great location, definitely wish to return. City was actually very quiet at night during my stay. Only issue was washer and dryer are listed but not said to be coin operated, i walked maybe .2 miles to a Walgreens that thankfully gave me change as there is no coin machine nearby. Also there are dishwashing pods and laundry pods under the sink.
I work in the North End every August during the Fishermans Feast and Saint Anthonys feast and the hours are very long so I try to stay as close to the event as possible for the weekends. This spot was super closeby, right by the north end but far enough that I wasn't stuck in it 24/7, I could walk back and forth quickly and easily and it was located right by Kanes Donuts :) huge bonus. Also awesome view. Slept great, that's all I wanted. Great place!

A gem in downtown Boston- location, location, location! Close to everything. Not far from the main boroughs, site seeing spots, near lots of T stops and bus lines, surprisingly quiet at night, and felt very safe during our stay. Very responsive and helpful with travel suggestions. Bed was super comfy and cozy, big windows and great views, and the window units kept the apartment quite cool. Definitely will stay here again!

This apartment is located in the middle of the Financial district. Convenient downtown, dead on weekends and mostly office buildings. Spacy apartment. Bed is queensize, for one person good. Price quite high for an apartment. Bathroom requires some upgrading - all works, however not modern standards. Kitchen good. Overall good to stay - price value high, however that is often the case in Boston. Location for business and conferences good.

The apt was clean, tidy, and looked just like the pictures. We traveled with our infant. The space was perfect for putting her to bed early and separate from us so that she could sleep while we watched tv and ate takeout (ordered a pizza from Ernesto’s, tasty). We picked this place because we had less than 24 hrs in Boston as a stopover on a longer road trip and wanted to do the Freedom Trail in the few daytime hours we had. Parking isn’t included which is consistent with the listing, but we used SpotHero and parked a few blocks away in the Boston Harbor Garage at a decent price. The only huge hiccup for us was that the elevator was broken, and we found out a few hours before we arrived. This was a big problem with the apt on the 6th floor and with the baby/gear and the car parked a few blocks away. Steven did offer help with our bags but the timing didn’t work out and we ended up taking many trips up and down and to the garage and back. Not ideal. Everything else was great!

I had no problem sleeping through it and welcomed the energy (cause I live in suburbia!) but others may require ear plugs, noise machine, etc. Overall, fantastic stay.

Boston aquarium, Faneuil Hall, North end, Paul revers House, North, church, Little Italy, Boston, massacre TD Garden, many restaurants and bars. No parking available but we used the SpotHero parking app and found a garage less than 500 feet from the apartment paid $88 for three full days planned on just leaving the car there and Uber anywhere we needed to go but this apartment is close to everything we never used Uber just walked, the apartment is in a very old building and is described as advertised. Had everything we needed for our two night three day stay in Boston. We would definitely stay here again. Mike

Very central location for getting around Boston. The apartment is very clean and there was good space for a couple and a baby.
Location, Location, Location. This apartment is very well located for visiting Boston. We walked or took the train everywhere we went while staying here. The apartment itself was nice, but a little on the older side, but I can't imagine you'll find many newer lodgings in this area; most of the buildings are older, but very well-built. The apartment windows are very thin, and the outside noise passes through them easily. The hosts are very open about this though, and it is to be expected in any large city center. The hosts do offer a noise machine or ear plugs upon request. I think the noise is a trade-off for the excellent location. You can either sleep well in a quieter neighborhood far from the city, or you can deal with the noise and spend more of your vacation time exploring the city and less time commuting to/fro the city to the suburbs. The mattress is nice, firm but not too stiff.
I am glad I was able to find an inexpensive place in that neighborhood, the location was walkable to everything I had planned which made the location great.
Steven was a good host & the apartment was beautiful- plenty of space for 2. It’s obvious that it’s regularly cleaned, the only item that could’ve improved the stay, is that the bathroom looked like it needed a deep clean (dirty grout, the tub caulking was dirty/on its last legs). It’s a great location & has beautiful light! Very walkable & easy easy access to the T.

My stay was fun and very nice. The apartment was very clean and spotless the only issue was the vent noise when in use in the bathroom. Otherwise the stay was perfect very close to restaurants and parks with amazing view of the street.

We enjoyed our stay on Milk street. The apartment was exactly as shown in the listing. There is a lot of room in the living and dining area, and less room in the bedroom, but we still had space to move around. When we stayed in late October the window air conditioning units had been taken down for the season - we were comfortable with the fan in the closet, and having a few windows open. I'm sure as it gets later on in November it would be even more comfortable! This apartment had everything we needed - great location near the aquarium, Legal Seafood, The North End, Boston Tea Party Museum, etc. - all things we were visiting on our trip to Boston!
Great location, cute unit! Can walk just about anywhere & several things to do/eat/drink right out the front door. Check in was at 5 pm, which was a bit late for us, but Steven does have some opportunities for early check in if needed. Overall the unit was clean, but I think the bathroom could definitely use a deep clean or facelift. For the price, though, good value!

Steven’s place is really excellent. You can’t beat the location, and the space is really well designed and set up, it had everything we needed. I wish we had stayed longer. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom and kitchen were well stocked with everything we needed. The view was amazing. Only down side is that the windows are single pane, so you could really hear everything going on outside, but that didn’t really bother us. Also, reading other reviews I guess the elevator can go out at times, but it was working great while we were there. But that is a risk you take, the place is on the 6th floor so that could be quite the hike. But personally I think it’s worth the risk. There are a couple parking lots close by, and we paid $42 for the night at the Folio Boston valet parking off Broad street through spot hero (if you pay online they give you extended time on your parking for free). Overall would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing location. Staying here made our trip to Boston so fun and easy. It is great for a couple but know that it's downtown and loud. It's in an older building with a tiny elevator and some vintage items, but it's DOWNTOWN! That was worth it for us. Great communication and easy access. Thank you.

Location was nice, carpet in the living room was filthy, full of hair, ruined my only other pair of pants for the night after kneeling on it faintly to match the height of the miniature table. Blinds were broken and the elevator was immensely undersized/ slow. Didn’t seem luxurious as listed.

Easy access for shopping and groceries so you’ll never be stuck. No need for a car since you can walk everywhere or take the tram that’s a ten minute walk away. This location is fantastic, quick walk to North End and Freedom Trail. It was pretty busy late afternoon but overall quiet for a city. The apartment does get warm from all the natural light so I suggest closing the blinds when you're out visiting the city, keeps the place much cooler. The biggest complaint is the inaccurate pictures posted for this listing. There were several discrepancies on the furniture pictured: coffee table, sofa, curtains all of which one would think is no big deal. What was a big deal though was that the bed pictured was with a headboard/footboard is that is not what was in the apartment. The bed was a low quality mattress placed directly on a cheap, metal bedframe. The legs underneath did not all even touch the floor. As a result, the bed squeaked every time there was movement, rolling over, sitting, etc. and results in a very poor night's sleep and an achy back. Without a headboard, pillows kept sliding off the bed onto the floor. And the furniture layout of the dresser made it almost impossible to use both sides of the bed which seemed to take up the entire room. I do feel misled am experiencing back pain from the inadequate mattress and poor quality of a cheap bedframe. I appreciated how quickly the team initially responded to me on Thursday by putting a thin rug under just 2 legs even though I provided pictures of how the legs underneath were crooked and not even touching the floor. The only thing the rug did was block the closet doors from opening. I reached back out and was told the bed would be replaced Friday afternoon. No one ever showed nor did the company follow up with me. When I contacted them for an update, they told me they were busy and would take care of it for the next guest which meant 2 more sleepless, painful nights for me. The light is out in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom which makes for very poor lighting. Shampoo and conditioner are listed amenities but were very cheap and I couldn't even get the plastic off to use it so please take your own. I recommend asking for additional bath towels and kitchen towels upon arrival. They are quite thin. (Please note I did not point this out during my visit based on the previous response or lack thereof regarding the bed. I am only adding this now so you know what to expect.) I spoke to the rental company more than once about my unhappiness and told them I felt very misled by the pictures and was simply met with "sorry about this." No one took any responsibility for having the wrong pictures up for this listing. Bait and switch?
This apartment was in such an amazing area in the finacial district. It was super close to the subway, several restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The apartment was clean and had all the essentials we needed. When we come back, we’d love to stay here again!

It’s a very nice apartment and centrally located! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting to hit all the tourist sights. And enjoy a downtown experience. The only thing I would say is for people with infants like us. There are 2 steps into the building and the elevator door isn’t quite wide enough to fit a stroller threw. They do have a pack n play ready and waiting. Great open space for little ones to roam in the apartment.
Despite some of the cleanliness in some parts of the apartment like the kitchen and the sofa area, it is overshadowed by the broken air vents lining the living room, the extremely dirty windows, and the dirty bathtub. On the only night I stayed here, someone entered the apartment when I was gone to place towels on the bed. When I brought this up to the host, I was told that it was impossible for this to happen and that no one besides me had the code to enter the apartment. However that was exactly what happened. That alone is enough for me to leave a bad review of this place. I will not be back. The bed feels cheap and squeaks with every movement. The location is in a very noisy spot next to bars which thankfully the sound dies down in the late evening. The good thing about this place is that they allegedly house people staying in their apartments while they are in town for hospital reasons.
Great location! There is so much around within walking distance, including the subway if you want to head over to Fenway. Great food in the area too. The apartment itself was very clean and neat. Any questions we had were responded to within a minute!

great expectations! not fullfilled. unfortunayely we were in apt 601 that has some issues: in the bedroon one window doent close properly and freezing air come in continuosly; heating not properly working; blackout curtains as shown in the picture announce are missing and above all we had a major issue with the toilette that flooded as already mentioned by other 2 previous guests. so we had to find another accomodation asap. we asked for refound at least of the nights we didn t sleep , still the management offered 45 euros. ridiculous and offensive if u think that we went to boston for dermatology congress we attended all day and then we had to go.back in apt withot use of toilet....

Worst AirBnB experience ever. - No working toilet for 2 days. I had to find public toilets to use. Also had to open the toilet and send pictures for them to send someone. And when the toilet did start working, after one day the entire bathroom flooded with toilet water and I had to plunge. - Unit is on the 6th floor. NO WORKING ELEVATOR. residents said the elevator almost never works. - Filthy. Plain filthy. Man and women’s everywhere, pubic hairs on the toilet, normal hair on the towels and the sheets. Absolutely disgusting - It was 20° and snowing and there is a large window in the apartment’s bedroom which is wide open and broken so you can’t close it. Even given all of the issues, there was no partial refund, no willingness to help with all of the issues encountered in the stay. The apartment is beautiful but ALL positives ended there. Do not stay here!!!

Overall, it was a horrible experience. This was my first Airbnb experience and it wasn’t smooth at all. Steve was very responsive and that was the only positive. He was responsive when he needed to add more charges for me to check in early or check out later. He wasn’t willing to work with me and my pet. The place was not lit very well with very dim lights. A kitchen light was out and some of the blinds were damaged so I couldn’t get privacy. There was a mirror directly next to the bed which made me uncomfortable and I slept on the couch. The pots and pans were dirty. There seemed to be a bloodstain on the bathroom tub that didn’t come out. The water turned cold quickly during my shower. Overall, worst experience ever staying away from home.
Great location and you can easily walk to all that Boston has to offer. Property manager is very responsive
Good for the price. Very old building. Elevators are very small. Windows don’t work. Entrance door doesn’t lock correctly (the keypad lock worked, but the bottom lock didn’t). Very bad internet. It’s slow and drops in and out randomly.

This airbnb was a good stay. The only thing I faced an issue with *but my fault for not reading in detail* is the check in/check out times which aren’t ideal. The linens / towels felt and smelled very clean which we loved. The internet was a little spotty so if you plan to work while staying here I’d say don’t. The apartment is spacious, lots of restaurants near by and in a good location near all popular spots. 👍

Steven was a great host for our short stay. Communicating was extremely easy and he's very accommodating. The location is the same as in the pictures and everything was fairly clean. Definitely coming back when we're in the area!
Great location with plenty of parking options around. Room was clean and easy to get to it with a nice view of parts of the city!
Overall our experience was positive, but not one of the greatest. Location, Location, Location is what this rental has going for it! It is located within walkable distance to everything you can imagine, food, history and fun things to do. Please note the bed frame is not the same as seen on the images, it turned out to be a wobbly metal frame which was bent and didn’t feel stable enough. We ended up taking the mattress and box spring off the frame and putting in on the floor as this felt more secure. We were worried about the frame collapsing to the floor in the middle of the night. Overall a decent experience, that only felt worth the money because of the location of the apartment.

The location was perfect. So close to the blue line and pretty much every site we wanted to see so we were able to walk most places. The place was clean as well and Steven was very good at communicating with us before, during, and after our stay. Our experience was great and we hope to be back in Boston soon!

Steven and his team were very responsive and helpful throughout my trip. This is a great location with many great restaurants/places to see within a few minutes.
We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated how walkable Boston was from the apartment. The elevator was cool, and the space was beautiful and comfortable with lots of sunlight. Close to lots of tourist destinations. Needed some time to work from home and there was plenty of space for that.
Perfect location to walk to all the essentials! It felt very safe walking around and it was just what we were looking for with close proximity to tons of restaurants as well as the tourist favorites.
Me and my friend had a good stay. The apartment was cute love the windows. Did give us feedback about hopefully getting a full length mirror so guest can you see themselves before heading out
Nice apartment in great location! It's easy to reach from the airport or from South Station. Will book again when we're in Boston next time!

Great space to stay with awesome natural light. Great location, can walk to everything, close to the water and Quincy Market. Heads up elevator is very tiny.

This location could not be more perfect for walkability and value. We loved staying at Steven's apartment and will use this location again in the future. what a GREAT spot! thanks so much for this awesome cozy spot so close to EVERYTHING we wanted.
The location of this place is fantastic! Less than 5 minutes to Faneuil Hall. We could walk everywhere but public transit is about a 4 minute walk away if you prefer. Getting to and from the airport was super easy on the blue line. There are definitely city noises so if you're not used to it, bring some ear plug and a sleep mask (the curtains aren't super heavy) but neither bothered us - it's not a super busy street but being in a downtown area, there's bound to be noises. The check-in and check-out process are no-contact and very smooth. We did pay extra for early check-in and late check-out. Early check-in was not a problem - the rental was ready when we arrived. Late check-out wasn't as perfect with the cleaning crew coming into the apartment twice before the late check-out time of 1 PM but when we said that we had late check-out, they left. There are a few small maintenance issues such as the headboard not existing for the bed (and due to the shape of the room, the bed can't rest against the wall), and the bed support legs being slightly broken so the bed creaked and shook every time anyone moved on it, the shelves in the bathroom are no longer attached to the wall, and one of the windows is stuck open. None of these things effected us and our stay and I'm sure the host will be coming in to fix them soon. All in all, a GREAT location in Boston if you want to see the sights and explore the city.
This was a solid stay for the price! A couple notes: the headboard to the bed was missing which I thought was odd and the mirror in the bathroom is not conducive for a short person (I’m 5’0”). I had to stand on a chair to do my hair and makeup in order to see, but other than that, it was fine place for a night’s stay.
Everything was clean and as advertised! The location is perfect if you want quick access to the airport. Only a 4 minute walk to the nearest station, which takes you straight to your terminal! Overall, a great spot if you want to walk around the city (only a 15 minute walk to Chintatown). If you are a light sleeper, this AirBnB is a good choice— the street wasn’t busy at all and there were no loud bars nearby.
The stay was fine but the toilet did not flush when we arrived and had to manually put water in.
Perfect spot downtown walked everywhere and communication with sgeven and his team was great.

Street noise on Friday and Saturday nights was terrible between 11pm-2am. All and all, a good stay. Good location.
The Good: the location is amazing and the staff is very polite and responsive. The listing is accurate in saying that some units are more updated than others. The Bad: our unit was not updated, and some of the furniture was so damaged that it affected our stay. The bed frame was broken at the top so my pillow was sagging below the rest of my body; the glass dining table had a broken table leg that cut my foot, and the windows in the bedroom had dysfunctional (very dirty) blinds that wouldn’t lower to block out the light. The window over the AC unit didn’t stay up and mosquitoes indulged on us all night.
The apartment was amazing location. Host was responsive and extremely helpful. Apartment is clean and tidy, but not maintained. Would stay there 10/10 times!!

Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
