located on the 5th floor of a walk up building, so please keep that in mind when booking!
We give our guests the privacy they want, but are available 24/7 for support and troubleshooting.
This apartment is located on a small side street that borders the Bay Village and Theatre District neighborhoods. 99 Walkscore. Very Safe, very local! Walk to the South End, Beacon Hill, Back Bay and North End all within 10-15 min. You're minutes from both the Green line and Orange Line T stations.
Bay Village is a tiny residential neighborhood wedged between the South End, Back Bay and Theatre District. Quaint, tree-lined blocks lit by gas lamps feature impeccably preserved redbrick row houses dating from the 1800s. Check out Mike and Patty's for a breakfast sandwich! They're the best in town... but expect to wait an hour!
Boston's Theater District will hopefully be bustling with energy in the evenings. As Boston reopens, Broadway hits, opera and dance are staged at a cluster of venues, including Emerson College’s ornate Cutler Majestic Theatre and the historic Boston Opera House. Comedy and music acts perform at the Wilbur. Low-key pubs, wine bars and modern bistros draw theatergoers and guests from nearby hotels. A few thumping nightclubs draw a stylish young crowd.
Here is our guide filled with information for getting around the city and beyond! n nDowntown Boston is easy to navigate. It’s compact walkable has an abundance of taxis yes they still exist! And Uber's are always a tap away. What makes Boston so accessible is it's public transportation system. Driving downtown can be a challenge with its dated road layout and limited parking options but it’s the most convenient option for travel outside of Boston Proper. n nThe MBTA is Boston’s public transportation system and it’s a great way to get around quickly and cheaply. The “T” refers to the subway which runs throughout Boston into Cambridge and into nearby suburbs providing access to all the attractions located in Boston. Just look for the big T in a circle to find a stop. n nYou can also take buses to get all over the city and the Commuter Rail is an easy way to get to points outside of Boston. You can buy paper “Charlie Tickets” for single or multiple subway rides at vending machines located in most stations. When your ticket runs low visit a fare vending machine to add value. A single basic fare for the T is $2.75 with a Charlie Ticket although if you pick up a Charlie Card (a plastic card like a credit card) the fare is lower at $2.25 for one way. You can load the Charlie Card with an amount of your choosing so it's smart way to explore the city. They're available at almost every T stop and are free to get. Once on board hang on! Being one of the oldest public transportation systems in the country the T is not always the smoothest ride. n nParking. or Paahking is hard to find expensive (by most tourists accounts) and is best done in lots or garages for peace of mind. Please check out a website called Spot Hero to find the most updated options and prices!

Fantastic place to stay in downtown Boston! Perfect location to get to anywhere you need to go. If it’s not within walking distance, it’s close to multiple subway stops that will take you anywhere. It is in the heart of downtown, so it can get a little loud, but it was honestly much better than I was expecting… we hardly noticed it! 100% recommend
Great place, would recommend!
Great experience. Steven gave us clear instructions for check-in/checkout, and everything went smoothly. Comfy bed and clean bathroom/kitchen. We would recommend this place!
Place was great. Disappointing that there was no elevator. The keypad on the front door needs to be replaced also since it takes about 20 tries to get it to activate.
Great location! Only down fall was that there were no elevators in the building and we stayed in the 5th floor, besides that, it was a great stay!!
Overall a great place with fast wifi to work remotely. If you don't mind going up flights of stairs or the occasional noise from the clubs down the street then you will be fine. Great walkable location to the subway, Boston Common, and Chinatown.
Great location in the heart of Boston. Lots to do and very walkable. Parking can be tough, as there’s no designated space. And the unit is on the 4th floor so be ready to walk up several flights of stairs. But overall, great location and great experience.
Overall a quaint, clean place, fairly well equipped. A couple of extra bath towels above the 2 provided would have been great. This is located on the 5th floor of a walk up only building, not the 4th. I knew there was no elevator but I would have reconsidered the booking had I known there were steps to get in, steps to gain access to the building then 10 flights of very steep, narrow, carpeted steps and that it is on the 5th floor. I know one more floor should be a big deal but not only was the building hall and stair area uncooled but the unit was not cooled off in anticipation of our arrival which was disappointing after lugging our things up 5 floors. Took a few hours for it to be cool enough to stay inside comfortably. I recommend ceiling fans be added if possible. They would have made it more bearable. Would not personally stay again but wouldn’t discourage it for others.
Everthing was exactly as described. Communication was super smooth and friendly. The ideal spot from which to discover Boston!
It was a very nice room, very clean, and located in the perfect area of downtown. The 4 flights of stairs with no elevator was tough with the baby, but everything was great. Clear and fast communication the entire time from the host.
Great location for restaurants and walking to theaters or clubs.
Loved how close it is to the common.
Great location, perfect for walking to back bay/south end or getting to the T
Very good location! Easily access for public train and transportation! Some people concern if there is noise from street, actually not at all! It is quiet place !
Great location for a night out in the city! Would stay here again.
As advertised. Great location.
Quick and short stay.
Buyer beware! There was in incredible stench of weed permeating the inside entrance of the building that wafted up the staircase. I walked up the 4 flights hoping it would get better. I dropped off my things and went to see my daughter who said when I got to her place, “you stink like weed!” She and her boyfriend immediately helped me find ‘cleaner’ accommodations. I texted the management company immediately saying that I could not stay there and asked for a refund. While they offered me the opportunity to look at 2 other their other spaces, I was leery due to what I found at this place. I asked for a refund thinking they might be amenable to some refund. They flatly said no, citing their cancellation policy. This is their right. I would highly caution anyone about staying in this unit. If you don’t smoke, you will be disgusted by the smell. If you find accommodations from this company and encounter any difficulty, you will likely be disgusted for other reasons. No empathy!
The place is very clean and in a great location with a fair price. Hosts are super responsive. Highly recommend.
The airbnb itself is fine. It is in a prime location, is clean enough and spacious, although the common area was a bit smelly and there was no elevator. The problem was on a Friday night, when the night club nearby stayed open until 3am and there was unbearable noise from car honking, people screaming, and loud music. Being unable to sleep ruined our schedule on Saturday. I understand that the host can do little about this, but I would not recommend this place on a Friday night.
The apartment itself was fine, but the building shares a wall with a nightclub, so the noise level is very loud through around 2:30 AM. There was also vomit on the street outside the building from party-goers multiple mornings. I also feel it is important to note that some apartments are on the 5th floor, so be aware when booking to consider heavy suitcases. There was also not a TV in the bedroom. The bathroom was adequate, but the water pressure was very low, maybe a 4/10. There was also some leftover hair from previous bookers in the bathroom.
We were in Boston for the marathon and Steven’s place was fantastically located - walking distance to Boston Commons, Boylston and Newbury Streets. Access to a fully equipped kitchen and (paid) laundry facilities were also great. One minor note that the apartment is located on the same street as a couple of nightclubs so there could be a little bit of street noise but that didn’t bother us much. Overall we had a really comfortable stay.
Utilitarian apartment right by the action! Great location a short walk to Boston Common and the start of the Freedom Trail. Like any city center, parking was a challenge nearby and was a bit expensive in nearby decks (make sure to check signs and be aware of when they're doing street cleaning). Host was great. Would stay again!
Great last minute place to stay during a road trip for the eclipse.
Very convenient to Tuft's. Close to everything and lots of food options.
The place was as described, and easy to check-in and check-out. All the amenities were there. Would stay there again if I was going back to Boston!
Steven responded very fast.
This is a great spot if you want to be right in the middle of the theater district. There is a ton to do and it’s very close to Boston Common. We stayed here because we were seeing a concert at Royale (which is maybe a minute walk away).
Loved the place and area, everything was very close by to walk to
The apartment is as described — nothing fancy, but definitely a nice place and a great location right in the theater district. Wasn’t a big issue for me, but as the other reviews say it does get very loud Thursday-Saturday evenings because there is a club next door. I sleep with earplugs so it didn’t bother me, but if you are a light sleeper it might be an issue. Overall a great stay!
This place was great, we were on the 5th floor so just be aware when booking. The place was fairly clean and was exactly as described. We got some great recommendations as well!
Steven was a great host, and the apartment looked even better than the pictures, not to mention the great location, only a 5 min walk from the Boston Commons and the Public Gardens. We had everything we needed during our stay, but by far our favorite aspect of our stay is the mission behind Healing Homes to support families coming to Boston for treatment, and we were grateful to get the opportunity to support them in that mission during our stay. I could not recommend Steven’s place enough for your next stay in Boston. Great amenities, great location, and great host. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.
We loved our stay here! Nice secluded area near the theatre district. Super walkable and the apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!
Clean apartment with everything you’ll need for a short stay. Convenient and walkable location.
The space was clean and super easy to check-in/out. It was a very walkable location with theaters, restaurants, and more all right outside.
Great stay, location. What you see is what you get, thanks for having us.
The location was convenient. The apartment was spacious, overall wonderful experience highly recommend.
Really great location with lots to do around in the Theater District.
The apartment was nice and cozy with a good location near where we wanted to be for our trip
Beautiful place, very communicative host. Great job location.
The place was clean, secure, and exactly as described.
Honest thoughts of the property/listing: -The location in relation to the city is great. There is a lot of stuff around as far as convenience stores, restaurants and bars. As well as walking distance to the Boston common and public transportation. -There are no elevators and the unit is on the 5th floor, so plan accordingly in terms of luggage. I had to haul two heavy suitcases up the stairs. The listing indicates this but I underestimated the task. -The hosts are very responsive and communicative. They try their best to offer a solution, if you have any issues. -There are a number of nightclubs on the same street so noise may be an issue if you are staying during the weekend (When clubs usually open). Overall, minus a few issues, I had a good stay and would probably stay again. The unit being on the 5th floor sort of helps offset the unhealthy eating one does on vacation. Thank you!
This place is exactly as advertised. It's a block from the Revere Hotel and, in out opinions, a superior and more affordable alternative. More space, more privacy, a kitchen, a living room. Like a home, not a hotel room. We parked at the Revere's parking garage, so we didn't even have to change our routine. :) It's an easy walk to the Commons (and the Emerson campus) and LOTS of restaurants. It was a very superior choice to paying more for a hotel room and we'd absolutely stay there again. Probably will next year, in fact. The only thing to bear in mind is it is a four or five floor walk up (the description says five, I thought I counted four) - no elevator. Wasn't a problem for us at all but no joke if you're not up for it.
Alright pricing compared to other Boston hotels and Airbnb
Amazing location, clean space, clear check-in process. Probably won't be able to find a better spot and would stay there again if I could!
This location was very central and we were able to walk to many main attractions Boston has to offer! Great for our two night stay!
Pros - very walkable location, close to Boston common and lots of things - very communicative hosts Cons - bathroom is a bit dirty with molds around the bathtub and towels have stains - we saw reviews about the club noise during weekends, but we stayed during the weekdays and have heard noise every night as well - late check in is at 5pm and early check in is at 2pm at an additional cost of $50 Overall it’s clean and nice location, but the apartment is one of the many owned by the hosts that usually serve patients that need medical care in Boston. Since it’s systematically managed, it is sadly one of the many airbnbs that are Not unique anymore and not the type of stays that Airbnb originally advertised for. If your goal is just having a place with good location to stay, then this could be it (pay attention to the total price with fees and the noise issue though). If you want a nicer experience, I would probably try to find a hotel at similar /slightly higher price point
Very nice space, good communication, good location for our trip. Noise from the street below was totally fine with earplugs. Would stay again.
Thank you Steve for a great stay
The apartment isn’t fancy, but it’s attractive, well-equipped, neat, and functional. I appreciated the walkable proximity to Tufts Medical Center and related buildings, the theater district, and Chinatown. It’s not cheap overall, but it’s very reasonable for a place in pricey Boston. I LOVE that the money goes to providing free housing for people who come to town for medical procedures! Be aware the unit I got was a 5th floor walk-up.
So enjoyed our stay. The location is terrific! Steps from everything. We are both runners and enjoyed running in the Boston Gardens and Boston Commons early each morning before our adventures in the amazing city of Boston. We would totally choose to stay here again. We arrived on an early morning flight. Steven was able to be flexible with us so we could drop off our bags in the entryway closet and head out. So great to have a flexible host. Loved it! Robin San Antonio, Texas
I had a pleasant one night stay. Instructions were clear, and the listing was accurate. Would stay again!
Really enjoyed the stay here. Nice building and a perfect location. I had no issues with the loud noise that was noted on some other reviews. If driving in, there are garages around the corner you can pay to park in. Overall, a great place!
This is only our 2nd Airbnb. Another great experience. This was fun too because our son, who we were moving into college, would even come to “our place” for dinner every night. Very centrally located. Convenient. Very comfortable. We walked everywhere. The club music never bothered us & we were surprised it was so peaceful. Love the security of 2 coded entrances. Very, very pleased. Definitely 👍👍 & ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Property was clean. Perfect for two people. Stairs were a nice workout. On taxi and Uber driver had trouble w finding exact location-hint-put in 100 Warrenton street. It is next door.
Great location. Nice apartment. We stayed over a weekend and didn’t have an issue with the noise from the club next door. The only issue was unusual checkin/check out times… they set check in at 5 and check out at 10 so we had to pay $100 to change both of those.
The Airbnb was location in beacon hill- right next to Boston commons! It was a great area to stay in with lots of restaurants. The apartment itself was clean and the hosts were very responsive. Thank you to the healing homes team for a wonderful stay!
Very good and comfortable apartment, walking distance to most places downtown.
Everything is perfect, except one — there is a night club next to the building. It appears quiet during the weekdays but for Friday and Saturday I did not get enough sleep due to the loud noise outside till 3am…
LOCATION-LOCATION-LOCATION!!!! The apartment is located near bars, restaurants and entertainment. You can catch the subway to all your destinations. Steven sent clear check in / check out instructions the day of arrival. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Boston.
Great place just as described. Wonderful location walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.
Great location in theater district, close to T, easy walking distance to most attractions. Very nice apartment on the 5 floors - could be a challenge after a whole day on our feet. Everything you need is provided and very clean. The club was jamming in the street below but air conditioning drown out noise.
Great location in Boston. Clean apartment and full kitchen. Not sure if the listing mentions it is a “walk up” so if you can’t manage four flights, with luggage, you may want inquire if they have units on lower floors! I was on the top!! Got my steps in.
Was in a great location. Clean and nice. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Boston.
Amazing place, and amazing host! No complaints here!
The location is cannot be beat! It is absolutely perfect and walkable to every neighborhood in the city. The area may look a little questionable externally but is actually very safe and the interior is pristine. The buildings in Boston are pretty old and this is no exception and you will be walking up to the 5th floor, but the unit itself is very modern with great AC, lighting and access to Roku tv. It can get loud outside on Friday and Saturday evenings but you’re in South end of Boston, its not really avoidable but it doesn’t persist for too long. Checkin instructions were very clear, it was a breeze getting in and out
Perfect little apartment close to Boston Common, great for getting around this fabulous city. Being on the 4th floor makes this a great workout, so a level of fitness is required. Construction work and a local nightclub caused some noise, however we felt this was acceptable due to the location. In short a great place to stay at a very good location.
Great location for Marathon Weekend, yes he mentioned it was a five story walkup. 64 stairs to be exact. My marathon legs were put to the challenge the day after, but I knew that going into the reservation. It is important to note that this is definitely an urban location, right above a night club. You will hear city noise, especially on a Friday and Saturday night. Clean well appointed unit, I would stay there again.
Great place and responsive host. Would absolutely stay there again.
Nice, clean place to stay. Nice little kitchen if you don't want to eat out every meal. Also, had a really nice iron and ironing board. I was traveling for business and it really came in handy.
Traveling as a teenage girl with only one other teenage girl can be scary, but I felt very safe staying at this AirBnB. There were three different checkpoints with different codes to get to my unit which I feel added to the security. The location was very close to everything especially the Boston Commons. The only issue I could think is that it is neighboring to a few nightclubs which can be noisy on the weekends, but it wasn’t difficult for me to sleep. I would 1000% book this AirBnB again!
A nice and cozy apartment, in a commuter friendly location with lots of local attractions within walking distance. Helpful host and team.
A great location and space. Well worth it! It also supports a great cause.
No complaints with this stay. Great location, super walkable. Beware the building is a walk up and the unit is on the top floor. Additionally, the clubs next door got extremely loud at certain points in the night on Saturday night. This stay had everything we needed, felt clean and was in a super great location for exploring.
This place was in a great location, easy to get to lots of great restaurants and the Boston Common & Public Garden by walking. There was a couple clubs on the street level, so it did get noisy at night, but we were warned about that ahead of time, and it was a very quiet street during the day. Though we did not cook, I was impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was with appliances, cookware, and dishware. The bathroom needs some work (the caulk looked old, and the tub part of the shower was warped), but was perfectly clean and functional, as was the rest of the apartment. When we booked, we knew that this apartment was on an upper level, and that there was no elevator, but we thought it was on the 4th floor, when it was in fact on the 5th - not a deal breaker, but it is a hike up a lot of (carpeted, somewhat steep) stairs. Steven and Brian were very attentive and answered all of our questions before, during, and after our stay. Would book again.
Pros - Great location! Clean, large space. Cons - There are two dance clubs underneath the apartment. The bass was so loud it shook the windows and pictures from 10pm to 2am on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night of our stay. I wish this was mentioned in the listing. The bed is smaller than a queen and excruciatingly stiff (pillows too). Point being: we had bad sleep while we were there.
Very good place on a very good location. Didn't have problems with the check-in process and the apartment looks good. The bathroom/shower are not as good as the rest of the place, but still no problems with that. As advised by other reviewers and the description itself, the music gets really loud (you can feel the vibration inside the apartment) even during Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Net, it was a very good experience and the hosting was very responsive and managed to help me with some questions and exceptions. I definitely recommend the stay.
excellent walkability to stores and Boston Commons, clean and open space. Host was very easy to reach and flexible. Can be noisy at night as it is near a few nightclubs
Seamless booking process from start to finish! This room had everything that was needed for my recent Boston trip (Wed -Fri) - secure building, cleanliness, and centrally located. -The space is simple yet has all of the necessities, especially if you’re looking for an affordable place to rest your head at night. -Although located on the 5th floor, the number of stairs seemed relatively low and was manageable with luggage. -The noise from the club (slightly down the road) was only heard on one night and was minimal, the noise from the frequent car honking was much more noticeable although not a deal breaker.
Was a very nice place, very homey, but the downside was the shower pressure wasn’t the best.
The place was just as depicted in the listing and in a great location. Bathroom is a bit dated but clean. Kitchen seemed recently renovated and had a lot of appliances. Easy to walk to/from places and the instructions on how to enter the apartment were extremely clear.
Was pleasantly surprised at the place. It was nice and actually quite quiet. The communication with the team was seamless and consistent. I would recommend using them if in Boston for a quick stay. Only drawback is there is no elevator where I stayed. But it’s a good way to get your steps in
Stayed here for a few weeks while I was visiting Boston and it was overall a great place. The location is excellent and the space is well-furnished and clean. On Fridays and Saturdays there appears to be a nightclub right beneath the apartment that gets pretty loud and stays that way sometimes until 2 or 3am, but apart from that it's generally quiet apart from the usual downtown street noise.
Great spot in the busy-body area of Boston downtown! The neighborhood can be a commotion in the evening so just something to be mindful of - the spot is a good space and close to so many things for good value.
Loved the location and cleanliness, great place to stay for a few days
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! This apartment is simple, clean, and adorable. The location is fantastic and the building is secure. Steven and the team responded quickly to messages, and were very easy to work with. Would love to stay here again next time we’re in Boston!
A very clean apartment that includes all the basic amenities! Fast communication with the team and easy check-in process was a bonus. The Airbnb is in a great location, just a quick walk to Chinatown and the MBTA. Definitely would stay here again!
The apartment is bigger than the picture. The location was so convenient!
Great location, the space was clean but simple. It was on the fifth floor and no elevator, but the building was easily accessible and and all instructions were very clear and easy to follow.
Great place, central to many areas and close to the trains. Be aware that this apartment is on the top floor, so many stairs to walk your luggage and no elevator. Also be aware of the club that runs many nights of the week. Great for a young couple who will be out and about enjoying Boston, but would not recommend for families with young children.
This was a really great spot. Clean, efficient communication, equipped kitchen, safe building. Of course you have some city noise, but that is to be expected while staying in the city. Lovely, calm space with great energy. I would stay here again.
Very nice place! Location is great, the only concern for some could be the noise level at odd hours of the morning, but the apartment comes with a white noise machine that worked great. Would stay here again if we come back to Boston!
This was a great stay! It is up 5 flights of stairs, but it was worth it for such a great price and great spot! It was a nice apartment and everything was quite clean.
Pros: clean apt, spacious enough for two people, easy check in and check out, and a super responsive host. Nuances: it’s on a block with multiple bars and night clubs so it can get a bit loud at night. But the bed room is quieter than the living room and we were still able to sleep though the night. Overall: great place to stay in Boston bc it’s walkable to everything. Would highly recommend!
Great location, easy to move about the city. Walkable to anywhere!
The room is tidy and clean, great location. Steven and the team are communicative and instructive.
We had a very enjoyable stay at this apartment as it was very clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient with easy access to many restaurants and the T. There was also a laundry room available which was nice. However, the apartment is on the 5th floor and there was no elevator so climbing the stairs after a long day can be exhausting. Overall we had a pleasant stay and communication with the owners was great.
Loved the place. In a great location, ~ 15-20 min to fenway or you could just walk to Chinatown. TV was really big and the apartment itself seems to block out noise really well. Totally worth it!!
Excellent place to stay in a wonderful location. Couldn’t ask for more the only thing is it can be a little bit noisy at night but other than that it was perfect!
This was a great and simple little apartment and in a really nice area!
Great place, really clean and perfect location. Really inconvenient checkin/checkout time given the price.. and it’s a bit overpriced honestly.
Nice apartment! Steven was very communicative and keyless entry is a life saver. You have to go up 5 flights of stairs to enter but was never an issue for us, but keep that in mind. Apartment is also accessible through an alleyway that has loud construction some mornings (you can clearly hear what’s going on outside) and loud (very loud) partying on weekend nights that go until around 2-3 AM, but again this wasn’t a huge problem for us (keep that in mind if you’re older or with a family though). Great stay!
Great place to stay while supporting an even better cause. Fantastic location and good pricing. Blocks away from Boston Commons and everything Back Bay has to offer. The steps aren't too bad and the AC units were cool (in June). Will be staying here anytime I'm in Boston.
This was a great stay! The location was perfect for us and Steven was very easy to get in touch with if we needed anything. The apartment was very clean and welcoming.
Great location, clean accommodations. Perfect for what I needed.
the apartment seems nicer in reality than at the pictures; good location for sightseeing the city, you can walk easily around; we had no issue with loud music but we stayed there during the week; concerning the noise, there is at the moment a new building being built just on the neighbouring plot and the works start at about 7 a.m. and it will last at least few months as they have just started; the apartment is well equipped including kitchen with a dishwasher and full stove with oven; there is a window cooler/air conditioner in both the bedroom and living room; good WiFi and communication; don't expect any nice view from the windows; generally a good place to stay for few days
The noise level from the street and the construction site was almost unbearable
Just as described. A good spot to stay and not spend a fortune. Recommend for anyone looking for place on a budget. This private apartment will get the job done!
This place is only 650 sq ft. On 5th floor with no elevator. Super noisy street. Minimum amenities, dirty hallway. We stayed in April and no AC was installed. Owner suggested opening window after lots of avoidance admitting no AC was installed as advertised. I think the other units are for rehabilitation of people. Marijuana smell from other units entered this place. Floors vibrated from noisy nightclubs next door.
Stevens place is a fantastic location and the communication between us was very prompt and responsive.
If you are high enough up in the building (I stayed on the 5th floor) the club music is bearable. Friday and Saturday nights lots of people tend to gather around the building entrance as the line for the clubs extend down the street. I suggest going out late Friday and Saturday nights if you want to avoid the noise from the clubs at night.
Wonderful place to stay and amazing location!!
This location was in a great spot. It was close to many monuments, site-seeing areas, and places that we wanted to visit by walking. It is also close to many venues for night life and great restaurants. We ate well every day. Keep in mind that there are a lot of stairs and if that’s an issue it’s something to consider. Not too big of a deal for us. We loved our stay!
The Airbnb is very close to a lot of tourist attractions. It is walking distance to the Boston Public Garden and Boston Common. The Airbnb was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Steven is very quick to respond as well! The only dilemma is that you to have to go up a bunch of stairs, there aren’t any elevators, so just keep this in mind when booking. Other then that this Airbnb was great!
Will definitely return if I’m back in the area!
Very homey apartment
Great apartment in the heart of the theatre district & around the corner from China Town & blocks over from The Public Garden & Park. In a great location for heading to different parts of the city. Great restaurants near by…MJ O’Connors Irish Pub/Restaurant & Maggiano’s Little Italy. Both just a short walk down the street & AMAZING!
Great stay in the city
Great location for tourists.
Perfect place for a stay in Boston. Great location.
Pros: Great location, most locations walkable and Uber was fairly reasonable. Cons: 5 flights of stairs to unit, need to be very clear about this. Outside Noise level high especially on weekends. Outside noises (clubs in same block, lots of partying going on to the weeeee hours) especially in bedroom were very high. First ever AirB&B with no amenities. At least in Texas all provide coffee, creamer, sugar. Many even provide a bottle of wine. Nothing, not even a mint. Very basic unit. I believe for the cost, I could have found hotel, but usually have been happy with AirB&B.
Very nice place, good location and for sure I recomend
Great location definitely.!!! Just be aware there is no elevator and is on the 5th floor. Also the bath tub is not the most clean.
This place is great and central although it’s proximity to loud nightclubs is something to consider.
Overall, the apartment was nice & clean and provided everything you need (including coffee + a coffee maker!) but WARNING that there is extremely loud construction that begins at 5am on weekdays. When I say loud, I mean loud, the building & bed was shaking continuously. It was an empty lot nearby so assuming that’ll be happening for a long time. Unfortunately was not offered a discount due to this but we definitely would have chosen otherwise had we known :/ it was just such a bummer & was incredibly awful how much noise & building shake was going on. Obviously not their fault but wanted to warn others. Also, check in originally stated 5pm which I find to be way too late. They did change it to 4pm for some reason which we were grateful for.
Very clean apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay in the heart of downtown Boston.
Very spacious for being so central in the city. You are close to nearly everything, including the public transportation which was very easy to navigate. It is above a nightclub, which others mentioned, but I didn’t mind it since you’re in the city so you have to expect there being noise regardless! The keyless entry was also nice so that I didn’t need to constantly worry about losing the key! I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun spot to stay in Boston.
Excellent communication and place was cleaned. The shower needs to improve and not too much power. Be aware that the apartment is on the 4th floor and no lifts/elevator!
A lot of stairs! But clean space and great location!
Great location and cute space!
Highly recommend this place. The location was great for our 3 night stay in Boston. Walkable to everywhere you want to go. Clean, has all the amenities you could possible need, and easy to access.
This lovely little apartment was perfect for us...close to several T-line stations, Boston Commons, the waterfront, and historic sites. Even as seniors (over 70), we were able to walk everywhere or easily catch a train. The apartment was quiet with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedroom. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. And as the owners disclosed, it is on the 5th floor with no elevator...so you need to save some energy to get home after a long day of sightseeing. We hope to return...before we get too old to climb those stairs!
Everything was great, my only complaints were the late check in time and the shower head was wonky. Great location and a nice space, the hosts were very nice and comunicated well.
Great location, we love the area and we were close to everything. Great communication, would book again.
We couldn’t check in until 430 because the cleaning service was behind, but when we got there the place was still dirty.
Phenomenal location just blocks from Boston Common and the T. Very clean, great communication. Don't under-estimate the stairs mentioned - especially at the end of a long day of walking. But the location and comfy bed make it worthwhile.
Clean space and with walking distance to great locations!
There is no elevator so there are four flights of stairs to navigate before getting to the apartment. All in all great place to stay in the heart of downtown Boston
The location was fantastic! We were there to run the Boston Marathon and the location perfect! It was clean but with no frills. I think I missed the details but the laundry is coin operated and is in the basement, 5 flights down. Also the place was double booked so another couple showed up the evening before the marathon. All that said, I would book this place again, it was such a great location.
Location and pricing was amazing for the area! Everything about our stay was perfect.
Tidy. Clean. Awesome central location. Easy to get to the T. Closest was Tuft’s Medical Center. Only challenge was getting out 50lb rolling suitcase up and down 5 flights of stairs, but I think the price and location made up for it.
Other reviews are spot on. Great location, but don’t underestimate the 5 flights of stairs! Week nights are quiet, weekends have a bit more activity outside with the night club downstairs.
great location! clean unit! comfortable bed!
Great location! A little hidden in an alley, but you’ll find it. Lots of stairs, a great workout. It’s close to Chinatown for good eats, Boston Public garden, and the T subway. Hoping to come back again!
Apartment was in a great location and was exactly as described Would recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Boston !
Steven was an excellent communicator and made the entire stay super easy. 10/10!
We had a great stay here. It is a very clean and welcoming space in a good location. As long as you don’t mind walking up stairs, I highly recommend this place. Thank you Steven!
This was a great place would stay again.
Great place to stay for a fast trip!
the location is really great - close to a lot. The place is a fine place to stay for a night or two but I wouldn't do more than that. I am sure it says this in the listing somewhere but note its on the 5th floor so it's a lot of stairs. Fine for us but just be mindful if that matters to you!
Thank you, we had a great time, and this was in a good location to start all of our daily itineraries especially since we walked or used the MBTA trains. I was glad we knew this was a fifth floor walk up from the description as it is a big climb at the end of a day of seeing the sights, but the apartment was always a cool and comfortable place to land. The only thing that might have been helpful to know is that there are two busy nightclubs next door that brought a lot of noise Thursday, Friday and Saturday night (11pm to 1amish), including two nights with intermittent loud music and honking that could be heard over earplugs. We still think it was a great place to stay, I’m just not sure if that was something that was clear in the description and would definitely want people to be aware of. The checkin and out was easy and I always felt safe walking to and from the building. Overall I would stay here again, thank you and we love Boston!
Great space! Brian was very communicative and provided a hassle free stay. Location is unbeatable and the space is very clean.
Clean, great location, comfy bed. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
This is a great apartment close to the Public Gardens and Newbury Street. It was easy to check in. The apartment was clean and tidy, the bed and pillows comfortable. My daughter and I used it as a home base as we did touristy things in the city. It was nice to be able to come back in the afternoon, rest on the couch (or she in the bedroom), before going out again. If you compare prices, I think you'll find that this is a really good value.
Great place to stay located near many Boston attractions (fenway, commons). Pretty easy to find parking with spot hero right near the apartment. Communication with getting into the place was good and made it easy to find the place. Never noticed the noise from the club that was downstairs. Would recommend to anyone for the price.
The apartment is as described, it was clean and the host was communicating in a timely manner. We loved the kitchen ware! The location is great, one block of the park. It is quiet and we slept well but on the weekends you will have to cut through a queue of people who stand in line for the club next door. It is a busy side street that way, as there are 2 clubs. We never felt unsafe, as there were a lot of people,, and it was very well lit. But it might not be everybody’s cup of tea. That being said the place is a good value, we loved having a washing machine!
All around great. Would absolutely stay again.
Great little apartment in The Theater District. Not far from the Public Garden/Boston Commons/The Freedom Trail & more. We walked back from the Billy Joel concert @ Fenway. Only 1 mile. A bonus that dogs are welcome for an extra fee!
Great, clean apartment in a really good location. Apartment is a bit darker than pictured and bedroom blinds can’t really be opened because another apartment is directly across —overall I would stay again.
Pretty great place, kinda loud on Saturday nights due to the nightclub next door but it's in the middle of Boston. Still great. Comfy bed.
Really nice and spacious unit in a very convenient location— would stay again!
PROS - Good location near Boylston St. tstop, easy walk to S. Station, right in the theater district, very close to Boston Common. Excellent communication with the host and management team. Bright and airy unit with 2 strong a/c units. The apartment looks just like the pictures. CONS - If you are staying on a weekend and need quiet for sleeping or need to sleep early, bring a white noise machine and turn on the a/c units. There was a club downstairs that may have recently reopened with MA Covid restrictions lifting that was very loud. We weren't bothered by it as we stayed up late, but it could be something for other to keep in mind.
Location is fantastic. Really central - close to Boston Common, good restaurants, Chinatown etc. Apartment was really clean when we walked in - that’s a good feeling! It is a walk up - which the listing specifically says, so make sure you know that going in. The apartment faces other buildings so don’t expect a view.
Clean and good location
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
