Walking distance from the Boston Common, Financial District, North End, South End and Southie! This part of town is commonly named Downtown Crossing as most of the city's Subway's or (T-lines) intersect at Park Street station and Downtown Crossing T stop. The State Street and Park Street stations are within close walking distance. Silver Line service is also available. You can get literally anywhere in the city for a few dollars and a Tpass.
The apartment building is located on a downtown street which means it's not super quiet for automobile traffic, and definitely has the lively city feel as foot traffic is sure to be noticeable any time of day, even in the winter.
Important to note is that lately there has been a gathering of homeless people during the day and night, right outside the 7/11 around the corner. The high foot-traffic provides them opportunities to pan-handle. Please use your caution, and common sense. We've never had an issue, but for folks visiting from towns and rural settings may find this surprising, even concerning.
We've taken measures to make sure our guests are very safe and comfortable during their stays. The building is monitored in shifts and sweeps by our security partner. The Boston Improvement Department does nightly walks of the property and nearby streets. There is also on-site security in the Arch Street building 24/7.
Some of the best takeout and restaurants spots may have temporarily closed from Covid, but we're confident the area will be very livable for your stay!
Shipping up to Boston? We put together a great guide filled with information for getting around the city and beyond!
Downtown Boston is easy to navigate. It’s compact, walkable, has an abundance of taxis, yes they still exist! And Uber's are always a tap away. What makes Boston so accessible is it's public transportation system. Driving downtown can be a challenge with its dated road layout and limited parking options but, it’s the most convenient option for travel outside of Boston Proper.
The MBTA is Boston’s public transportation system, and it’s a great way to get around quickly and cheaply. The “T” refers to the subway, which runs throughout Boston, into Cambridge, and into nearby suburbs, providing access to all the attractions located in Boston. Just look for the big "T" in a circle to find a stop.
You can also take buses to get all over the city, and the Commuter Rail is an easy way to get to points outside of Boston. You can buy paper “Charlie Tickets” for single or multiple subway rides at vending machines located in most stations. When your ticket runs low, visit a fare vending machine to add value. A single basic fare for the T is $2.75 with a Charlie Ticket, although if you pick up a Charlie Card (a plastic card like a credit card), the fare is lower at $2.25 for one way. You can load the Charlie Card with an amount of your choosing, so it's smart way to explore the city. They're available at almost every T stop, and are free to get. Once on board, hang on! Being one of the oldest public transportation systems in the country, the T is not always the smoothest ride.
Parking. or "Paahking" is hard to find, expensive (by most tourists accounts) and is best done in lots or garages for peace of mind. Please check out a website called "Spot Hero" to find the most updated options and prices!
In this section we want to stress that in all City apartments, in all neighborhoods, there is the possibility of noise at night. Many times it is completely out of our control. We can provide noise machines and earplugs, but we will not refund any stays that are shortened or cancelled because of noise from construction, traffic, neighbors, or pedestrian noise. Boston is a major American metropolis, it comes with its beauty and it's noise. This will be noted in our house rules, and when bookings are confirmed, it is a contract that you, the guest, is agreeing to. We also want to make it known that the entrance to the building has a bit of a funky access - from the street level you enter into a back stairwell and you head up a flight of stairs to the first floor. From here, you can find the stairwell or elevator to top floors. There is also another entrance through the glass revolving doors at 101 Arch Street and an entrance on the left which will take you to the first floor lobby where you'll easily find the stairs and elevator.

Was very clean and spacious
Overall good unit that has seen a deal of wear and tear, but nothing too shabby. Great HVAC for climate control. Flush valve on toilet needs two or three cycles to actually flush, but does so reliably. The mattress is very well-used and shaped at this point, and outdoor noise is easily and clearly heard at night when trying to sleep. Great location in a very walkable downtown with public transport readily available. Past reviews noted a problem with homeless people obstructing entry but there was no such issue on my stay, leaving and returning at various times from 7:00 AM to pass midnight.
Very nice, comfortable place to stay.
This house is best location for us.
Great stay! Clean home and very walkable to everywhere we wanted to go!
Very central location. Comfortable place. Easy to find. Lots of things to do around the buildings, shopping, restaurants, park, etc. A bad crowd of homeless people in front and corner of the building, Specially at the street entrance, leaving trash, and having to ask them to get up from floor by the door, so we could come into the property. Noisy at night from homeless, fights and loud talking. Very inconvenient. Very good communication and clear instructions
For hotel prices in the area, I thought this rental was great value! It was in a great location in downtown Boston (easy to access on foot, bus, or subway; near tourist points of interest), clean, and had all the basics. My only criticism is minor and outside the owner's control, which is the literal front door is a popular place for homeless Bostonians to hang out; it was kind of awkward having to ask them to move every time you enter/leave the building.
Although the apartment was a walkable location to most things in the city, the apartment lacked a few features. For one, we thought there would be some complimentary water in the fridge. For the price given, we think that it would be common courtesy for water to be stocked. Moreover, there were a few cosmetic repairs that can be made. A tile was cracked in front of the shower, the paint was peeling on the ceiling and there were stains on the bathroom towels. Furthermore, we kept being woken up at night due to people yelling and fighting outside. There were also people that crowded around the entrance to get into the building and often slept outside the door blocking entry/exit. It did not feel a hundred percent safe to leave the building after nightfall. Other than these few things, the stay worked well but given the price, we assumed there would be a better sense of security and certain complimentary amenities. To end on a positive note the hosts were amazing and communicated well.
Convenient and walkable location. All basics provided.
Such a great place, great location, very clean and bright.
For context - I live in Manhattan and used to live a couple blocks away from this Airbnb immediately before living in NY. Homelessness and drug use is not unfamiliar for me. Because I used to live nearby, I should have known better… but I forgot it was this bad in this area. This particular block is constantly full of drug addicts and it has for years. In the middle of the day it is fine but as soon as the sun goes down it is a nightly problem. I arrived around 10 pm and there were around a dozen people strung out on drugs in front of the entrance. Although I’m sure Healing Homes wishes this area didn’t have this consistent problem, I strongly advise that women or people with children in particular do not book this airbnb.
This apartment was located on the third floor of a walk up building, this was never mentioned in the description. Also there were random drug addicts & homeless people on the front steps to get in at all times ever worse at night to the point I had to get in argument for them to get off the steps so that I could enter the place. This is located in a noise area as the homeless are always out there fighting. The bed was all of 14 inches off the ground so it was hard to get in & out of the bed. Also the sofa was so sunken in that your knees were higher then your head when you sat on it. The shower had no shelving in it so you had to put the soap on the dirty floor of the shower. This was just an overall bad airbnb.
Place was great and I was happy to be where I was. BUT: if you're sensitive to outside noise (specifically, people yelling at each other or no one in particular all night long) and open hard drug use (specially, needle use during the day as well), then you might look elsewhere. This seems to be recurring issue for visitors. For me it was worth the location and accessibility to other parts of the city.
Very responsive host !! Always quick to respond to queries and helped us out when needed !
Very responsive on towards there customers
Our stay here was great, host was super quick to respond and super helpful with anything. Only downside is the noise and the homeless crowd outside the building but other than that it was a great stay.
Everything was as described!
This was a great place to stay!
Great location but a little weird at night.
Good location, clean and comfortable
Great space. Like other reviews, the bed was sunken in the middle, there were homeless people on the street in front (but all very nice and not intimidating at all), and there were a couple mornings of loud noises (garbage truck, homeless people yelling) that woke us. The place was very clean, had a great kitchen full of everything we needed! We cooked breakfast almost every morning, and the location to the grocery store was prime! We will definitely stay here again. We just loved the location. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives.
This place was so cute. It was comfortable and clean. It was also in the middle do the city so walking distance from everywhere
Perfect location. Easy access to everything. Met my needs for a multi faceted Boston visit. Hosts are great. Definitely would stay again.
Very Nice and central apartment. Got everything you need.
Super clean space, responsive hosts
A lot of activity on the street below. Place was great otherwise!
Ty
I loved my stay here. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. Everything went smoothly and would hope to stay here again! Thank you so much.
Solid place for a quick work trip. Very accessible to financial district and Seaport. The mattress has seen a bit of use, but good bang for the buck. I would stay again
Had a great 3 night stay. It was exactly like the photos. Very close to everything. Would stay there again!
Beautiful place in the heart of Boston. Great experience. We would book again.
Very well managed, clean, comfortable and convenient airbnb. I wouldn't stay in this area of Boston unless it happens to be very convenient for you, however. Nothing special, but a great value considering other options. The host was very attentive to messages and made me feel cared for.
It was a great stay. The location is perfect you can walk and take public transportation in a very short amount of time. The studio itself is great! Very clean and put together well. The one issue that I have was how much I could hear everything happening around me. The walls are paper thin unfortunately and made it hard to sleep at times. Other than that everything was great!
The unit was clean and as described. it was a great place to spend the night in the city.
I had an amazing time in boston. The airbnb was great, matched the pictures perfectly, had everything we needed. Am definitely coming back!!
It was a unique stay, the place is very well located with easy access to shops and means of transport.
had a great stay here. the apartment is a great size and the location is good to get everywhere you want to get to quickly and easily. I'd stay again. a couple of points to note... I noticed other reviews had mentioned that the mattress would benefit from being renewed - I would agree with this and would hope that the company takes action on this as its been mentioned quite a few times. its fine, but its sagging in the middle of the bed seemingly through use and age. The second point is that one of the blinds is not operational as the chords are missing and therefore we couldn't block out the sunlight - its best this is fixed before the spring sets in so people are not woken by the light at an unreasonable hour, which was not so much of an issue for us in the winter with later sunrise.
Great place to stay. Clean and hosts were very felxible.
great place, absolutely spotless. it's no nonsense, you'll need to get your own coffee at the grocery store around the corner. there is no laundry, and you need to be able to walk up at least one long flight of stairs. Excellent value for the money!
Great stay, would come back, location is incredible.
terrific location, great price and you get to support families staying there to visit members in local hospitals.
The place is the best you can get around the area. You are within a 10-minute walking distance to either Chinatown or the AMC by the park. You live right next to the shopping area of Boston so there are a lot of activities to keep you occupied. The only gripe I have with the entire vacation was the homeless yelling a lot into the night and you can hear it as well as being approached by them when getting back to the place. The living accommodations however made up for it, with a very comfortable bed and plenty of space. The elevator was weird to find, so you might want to reach out to the owner of the place to know more about it
In terms of the actual space and experience, this was a great rental for our stay in Boston. Additionally, the location is in the heart of downtown Boston, which gave great access to the subway, the train station, and the airport (plus walking distance to great entertainment and restaurants). My only critique, which is fairly major but also not at the fault of the Airbnb provider, the location of the rental didn't feel entirely safe. There were several times when we had to enter the initial electronic code to enter the building's narrow entryway, there were people sleeping in the entryway, selling drugs, and, on one occasion, someone actively using drugs (needles) in the entryway. For this reason alone I wouldn't stay in this same location again moving forward.
Thank you for accommodating us! Super responsive hosts and the area was extremely central and walkable. Great and spacious apartment and we certainly enjoyed our stay. Cheers!
I would definitely stay in this location again - very close to public transportation (the T), grocery store, and a variety of restaurants. When we needed extra things such as towels, I received a response almost immediately. Great studio apartment and perfect for a couple visiting Boston.
Nice location, clean place. I recommend
Great response times, flexible with our timings. Flat looked like photos. Nice furniture, comfy bed and big kitchen. Good location, very close to south station and we could walk to most places we wanted to visit. Thanks!
Convenient to all metro and downtown activities
I stayed at Albert’s for 2.5 weeks. I’ll start with the positives: Fantastic kitchen, well-equipped. Lots of things close to the apartment. Spacious for a studio. Cons: a drug dealer posts up in the alcove directly next to the entrance to the building. The “customers” outside never bothered me but I definitely felt like I needed to be on high alert. There are some issues inside with things not being in as good of shape as the photos (cracked tile, filthy bathroom vent, stains on floors, etc). The mattress is extremely uncomfortable. Laundry is in basement, not in unit. Overall, not what I thought I was getting. I expect Boston prices to be high, and for the location (in terms of proximity) this apartment is in a good place. It’s the specifics - the specific block, the quality of mattress and bathroom, etc - that are not worthy of a higher rating in my opinion. Not a terrible place but things should be considered before booking here.
It was a great place and very friendly host. Would stay there again
Albert was great! Very responsive and the place was amazing.
Safe place to stay, very walkable.
The space was clean, and it was as described. Easy check in and responsive host! Would stay again and would recommend!
The apartment is central, making the city easy to access. Check in was easy and the street is accessible. It can get noisy at night but this is to be expected from an apartment in such a central location.
I enjoyed the property and the unit was clean and ready for us on time. Area had a fair amount of homeless at night but it’s a great near downtown spot.
Convenient location near the metro and South Station.
The location of Albert’s place is wonderful and an easy walk to everywhere, including many coffee shops, good news since we were surprised not to find a single welcoming amenity in the apartment. Some coffee or tea or even a bottle of water after a long travel day would’ve have been welcome. Bring your own towels and soap. (The one towel rack we found was in pieces below the sink). Overall a very sparsely appointed place, and since we weren’t there often over 3 days it was sufficient. We never figured out the thermostat. The stairs were anticipated and manageable.
Staying here was great, is downtown so there's lot to do. The apartment is great! However, there were a lot of homeless people in the street by the entrance, making me feel unsafe at night. But that's just my perception.
Alberts place was super comfy and conveniently located! Made the Boston experience so much better!
Location was great for getting around the city. Apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. Would definitely book again.
Great location and service! Enjoyed my stay there!
Nice host and Nice Place to feel in peace.
This apartment had a great location, very close to multiple T stops and tourist attractions. The space was clean and very well kept. Definitely stay here if you have the chance.
Great location within walking distance to heart of Boston. Room was great for a weekend stay. Host was extremely responsive.
The apartment was clean. Laundry is communal in the basement- requires a $10 minimum to add money to system, which is more than a load of laundry cost. Once inside the apartment, felt safe; however, on street the of the apartment there was drug use, fighting, and homelessness- at one point during our visit, we were unable to get into the apartment building due to a person on drugs blocking the only available entrance. Albert’s team was responsive on the app, but would not do anything to resolve the situations. You get what you pay for; one of the least expensive places I could find to rent in the Boston area.
Great studio apartment in the heart of Boston. The place is very easy to find and was very clean and comfortable. Its downtown location with nearby subway stations made it easy to get to many attractions around the city. The only downsides were the amount of noise and the surrounding blocks feeling a bit sketchy in the evenings. Overall a great place to stay!
We had a lovely stay at Albert’s and would recommend to others.
The apartment was clean and nice. And it was located near a lot of things at a walkable distance, a very practicable place to stay while visiting Boston.
I will sue the company. It was that bad. Lying and sleazy landlord
The apartment is in a great spot in the city! Everything is walkable distance and you feel very safe at night. The hosts were amazing and checking in/out was easy!
Great location!! Stairs steep and long (48 steps), take it into consideration before booking.
Clean, tidy and just right and great cause.
Thank you for this wonderful stay.
We loved our time in central Boston -- right near so many walking destinations and great things to do.
The apartment was inaccessible, and I wish there was an access to the elevator on the first floor. I have fibromyalgia. The steps made the trip just a bit ore difficult than expected and I wish that was a part of the description. However, the apartment was clean, centrally located, and as described. Thank you for hosting us.
Really nice apartment, very well located, close to restaurants and shops, but unfortunately you can hear everything from the street. Lot of noise due to people screaming, playing music. If you are sensitive to noise, avoid the place. if not, the apartment is great, just bring ear plugs!
We were really disappointed after paying almost 300 $ per night to find a place which was not meticulously cleaned. You could hardly see out from the windows as they were not cleaned for a very long time. No sound proofing at all. Mattress problem (which was sunk deeply in the centerline) mentioned by guests before still continued. Bathroom ceiling paint peeled.
Great place! Thanks for the hospitality.
The place was in a perfect location for a work trip and had all the amenities needed to even cook a full-meal. It was also adorable. The only negative comment I have is regarding the window blinds. They let in a lot of light from the street.
Awesome location and cozy apartment. Due to being in the cbd, you could hear noise from the streets at night, but overall very happy with the stay!
I did enjoy this place 100%. It was completely clean, luxurious, with all the things you needed at home (even beyond that). The bed and sofa were really soft and enjoyable, the TV perfect. The kitchen and all amenities were more than enough. The place was in the nice downtown of Boston with everything nearby in walking distances. There was a 24/7 supermarket next door which was really good if you wanted bottles of water or anything to eat. The host was much supportive and understanding and he was responsive with prompt answers and help. He kindly let me an early check-in and late check- out for free. The only drawback was that there were many steps until you get to the elevator. However, the host's team member kindly came and helped me with my luggage at both check-in and check-out. One could also use the next door building to get into the building. It was my best experience of Airbnb around the world. Definitely recommend it and I wish I can come to Boston again and stay here again.
The apartment is fine and matches the listing, but it is SO NOISY from the street that earplugs are really a requirement if you want to sleep. Be aware. The mattress is terrible and needs to be replaced. We were rolling toward each other. There were people asking for money sitting on the building stoop most nights and when I emailed about it the response I got was simply that it's a city and that's just how it is (I have lived in NYC my entire life, btw) but NOT told about the second entrance to the building (I just saw that re-looking at the listing right now). That would have been helpful to know so we could still get into our room instead of waiting for them to leave the stoop. I was in Boston for the marathon so the price was WAY jacked up, and thus definitely not worth the money, but what choice did we have? Everything was super expensive. The kitchen is the big upside over a hotel. Very useful for making breakfast before the race.
Great stay in this unit, that was exactly as described! Everything was clean and furnished with all the necessary amenities for a short term stay. I felt home and I would be back there. Thanks the responsive staff for the help that they give us any time we needed.
Nice place, easy to find, good location.
Our stay was just fantastic! Everything was as shown in the pictures, as well as very clean. The building is in an excellent location (also quiet and tranquil for the whole duration of our stay), and the host was very reactive. We also took advantage of the fully furnished kitchen, which is definitely a plus. Highly recommended!
Great location, very clean
The location was walkable distance to a lot of restaurants and historical sites. The apartment was easy to find, and the inside looked like the posted pictures. One big downside was the bed. There's a "hole" in the middle of the mattress, and we keep falling into it; it's not very comfortable. I had seen some reviews mentioning this problem, but I thought it had been solved by now. No, it has not. The outside isn't very peaceful in the morning as people outside the building are yelling (literally) at dawn every day. It was like an urban rooster, if you will, but funnier than actually annoying. Overall, if the bed was fixed, we'd stay there again.
My partner and I really loved this place. It was cozy, but also spacious for a studio. We had no issues at all and loved that we were right in the middle of downtown Boston. We were able to walk mostly everywhere we wanted to visit. Thank you so much to Albert who was a great host. We had a wonderful time and hope to book the same place when we come to visit again later in the year
Great place right in the heart of Downtown for a quick getaway. Albert and team were friendly and very responsive!
I only booked this place because one of the reviews said the bed was bad and the host responded they would take care of it. The mattress was basically was a U shape. You sink in it. So they either didn’t fix the issue or the new one is also bad. It was so uncomfortable for me that I didn’t sleep there and had to go somewhere else. It was a non refundable booking so I lost 600 $ on a 3 day trip. This trip was the reason I am never going to use an Airbnb again now that it’s the same price as hotels.
Had an amazing stay, the accommodation was exactly as listed and the host seemed very attentive.
Exactly as advertised.
The apartment is very centrally located and the host was very responsive. The windows are not well insulated and seem to be very old/slightly damaged, so the noise on a busy street does sound louder than expected. Everything was very clean. The apartment is older, so there is some normal wear and tear. As mentioned in some other reviews - the bed was very soft and not very comfortable for my preferences.
Great place in downtown boston extremely walkable with access to the whole city
Great location. Difficult to park just as the host advised. Kitchen had all amenities. Thank you!
An Airbnb place that is just as it described, very clean, new, warm enough for the Boston winter. Great stay, highly recommended.
Lovely apartment, excellent location, great communication, we absolutely enjoyed our stay! Be aware that there is no elevator to the second floor, so you will have to climb a stair. Would recommend!
The studio was very spacious and it was very clean. The location was perfect as well.
We really enjoyed our stay here!! Convenient location close to the T and the Boston Commons.
Clear communication by host, convenient and safe location.
Great location, really clean and comfy. Walking distance from landmarks, shops and restaurants nearby. Loved it!
Good place to stay
great location and great value! will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Boston
It was a fantastic place to stay and the location was great. There were a lot of shops and restaurants close by. Also very close to public transit (trains) which are fairly easy and safe to navigate. Boston Common and public gardens are near by and we enjoyed walking in the parks.
Good central location. Make sure to shut main door properly as we did have someone attempt to wait and get in after us. Security and Albert were responsive when someone attempted to get into our apartment with the wrong code.
Great place & amenities - tidy and great location!
Perfect space for our Boston visit. The location was very convenient, near a subway station and most things you might need. Very well kept and clean. Communication with hosts was great!
Beautiful stay, cosy place, spacious, very central, well-connected and well-served area, responsive host. We would love to come back again
Exactly what was advertised and what we needed.
First time visiting Boston and this was a perfect Airbnb to stay in. It's within walking distance to lots of shops, food, landmarks, everything! Check in/out was super easy. I'd stay here again.
Very nice home! Easy access to the public transport but also easy to walk around the city. The home is very nice and comfortable, clean and welcoming! Great place to stay in Boston!
We were traveling from Michigan and wanted to stay somewhere centrally located in Boston so that we could see and walk to most places without the need for uber or the lines. Alberts location was PERFECT! for this. We were able to walk what felt like the entire city and see it all thanks to the location of his Airbnb. It is exactly as described in photos and words. Cute, bright, and L-shaped. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it was nice to know we had a stove, dishwasher, and fridge right at our finger tips. Shower pressure was nice and so was the hot water (needed during our chilly new england visit!) It could be a little noisy in the mornings when commuters were getting to work, but that’s normal for every big city. Like the description says, parking is hard in Boston. Luckily, we were able to find parking at one of the garages a block over. Albert was fast replying, accommodating to our needs, and understanding. We will be staying here again during our next trip to Boston!
Really great location in the heart of downtown Boston! The apartment was clean and the perfect size for two guests.
Very basic and minimal but great location when you're going to be mostly out and about. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't realize there was an extra fee for pets and didn't learn that until after we booked it.
Fantastic location- would recommend to anyone!
Great location! Nice and clean and comfortable.
Apartment, check in process and communication were perfect! The only issue I had was with the lack of cleanliness in the entryway, stairwell and hallways. With that being said, I will stay again in the future as the location was perfect and the cleanliness and secure feeling being in the apartment itself were on point.
Clean and spacious. However, the bed was very soft and low to the floor, that was not as comfortable as I hoped for the price of the appartement. The location is great and the kitchen has some soap for hands and dishwasher ready for you, which is nice
Great location. Just a reminder that early check in is charged, but there r few spots near Chinatown you can store you luggage if you arrive here early in the day.
Everything was perfect and all set for you to enjoy your stay! I only stayed for 3 days, so I didn't really get to use everything in the kitchen, but I can say that they have everything set for you to use. I would love to be here again!
Host was quickly responsive whenever I had any questions. Great location and close to a lot of things. Had a TV, but the remote didn’t work, unfortunately. The bed is a platform bed and I don’t know if it’s the mattress or the platform itself, but the center of the bed is extremely indented so you sink into the center every time, which is very uncomfortable.
The location was perfect for exploring Boston- close to the Common, minutes from T stations, pretty much within a 20 minute walk to any part of downtown. Communication and instructions were great, and checking in and out was super easy. The depression in the middle of the mattress made it hard for us to fall asleep - not a deal breaker, but if we stayed longer than a few nights it may have become unbearable. Overall a great stay.
Cute Airbnb with the basic essentials. Location was absolutely prime, very close to everything. 7/11 and CVS next door for basic things you may need. Walking distance to the entire downtown. The host was very communicative and gave clear instructions for check in and check out.
Would stay again. Nice unit / relatively spacious feeling for a studio. Smelly hallways though.
Great location, clean room!
Nice place. Unfortunate the thermostat didn’t work and had to pull the mini fan from the closet and blinds were missing from one of the windows. Owners were quick to reply although wasn’t going to be resolved for the 1 night I stayed. Otherwise place is updated and neat and clean so no real complaints.
Great location. Close to south station and cross town station. Close to grocery store. 5 minute walk to Boston Common and start of the Freedom Trail. We walked to the Northside several times as well as Beacon Hill. We would book again.
The flat was everything advertised. Big and very bright. Nice location downtown, very convenient if you’re working, literally 2 mins from subway. Everything was clean and easy to use. They have 24/7 assistance so this came in very handy as I had some issues. One set of blinds was missing and I immediately informed Albert’s team who answered super quickly. They told me maintenance would come and fix it, unfortunately that did not happen during my stay. Other than that they were very helpful (I asked how to turn off the fan which was super loud and they provided assistance). The street can be loud but it’s not too bad. The flat itself has everything you need (kitchen appliances and tools, towels and soaps, etc.). Overall I had a very nice stay. Thank you!
The location was perfectly located. Place is nice - no extra bells and whistles but pretty clean once you get to the studio (apartment building itself isn’t anything special). The shower didn’t work when we first arrived so they sent someone out the next day. There are some blinds missing that make it brighter than one may want. Bed does slope significantly in the middle but not a deal breaker. Had a great stay overall - stocked with all the basic necessities - kitchen appliances, iron, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We asked for extra towels and an extra blanket upon arrival and they were very nice about it. Great communication and time at the place. All in all would recommend.
Good location, easy check in, spacious apartment with a well equipped kitchen. But there are a number of negatives worth calling out - 1./ a new mattress is really needed (as others have said), 2./ one of the three large windows had a completely broken blind (and despite being promised that someone would come and fix it during our stay, that never happened) and 3./ the place could do with a bit of attention - for example paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling ending up with flakes on the floor. Ultimately somewhere that is “ok” - but don’t expect anywhere better than three star rating than it deserves.
great location ... extremely convenient for all !!!
Very nice, clean and comfortable appartment at the very heart of Boston. Had a great stay there and would recommend it to others.
Great location, clean, and fast response times from host. Only downside was parking but we used spothero like they suggested and found a spot in a garage 2 blocks away for only $45 for the whole weekend. Would definitely stay here again next time I come to town
Super cute, clean and convenient for downtown destinations. Communication from Albert and the team was outstanding. I will definitely stay again. Thank you!
Location is amazing. Can walk to a variety of places and very close to various T stops. Good selection of retail stores as well for groceries and other items. The apartment itself is good. Nothing fancy but a decent environment. If you are spending a majority of the time in the apartment you maybe disappointed but as a place to sleep, shower, cook a meal or two and go out and explore downtown Boston and beyond look no further.
The flat is central, a short walk from Boston common. It's small but good enough for two people for a few days in town.
Albert was a fantastic host. Very communicative, the space with clean, excellently located, and appeared just as advertised. Bed was comfortable too!
Nice apartment! Clean and a nice kitchen for cooking! The apartment is in the heart of Boston and it’s easy to get around ! Unfortunately we had problems with the air conditioning. Although there where good instruction on how to fix it we did not have the time to do so and ended up having the windows open to cool down the rom , also the Wi-Fi was not working properly.
Very amazing location! Second year in the same building! I love it! Not to mention very quick to respond!
For our latest stay in Boston, we weren’t looking for a luxe establishment with all the bells and whistles—we were focused on finding something more sensible. Our criteria: centrally located, clean, affordable, and run by hosts with solid communication. With this in mind, Albert’s place fit the bill perfectly! We would happily stay here again.
Nice location but bed sucks no other complaints really
This Airbnb is located very centrally near Boston’s downtown, Chinatown, and Seaport areas. All three are about a 15-20 nice safe walk. Really enjoyed being able to explore the city without a car. The Airbnb was mostly as shown in the photos. My only suggestion would be for the bed to be replaced for future guests as the central depression of the bed from normal use is a bit much at this point. It made sleeping slightly uncomfortable. Otherwise, the Airbnb came with a good amount of bathroom supplies, good heating and cooling, and a kitchen area with everything you would need. The hosts are also very responsive and communicate well!
If you're like me and you read some of the older reviews from this year you may be uncertain if this airbnb is for you. After staying here for a week, those reviews seemed like jokes. This airbnb is fantastic! Albert and his team work really hard to equip it with everything that you may need to call it home for your stay. The room is very modern and comes with a smart tv and modern appliances, the room is also very clean and looks brand new ( no water stains, top of the line central ac and heating). The location was also in a perfect location that allowed us to easily walk to Boston Commons, Seaport, South Boston, Quincy Market, practically anywhere we wanted. Also plenty of grocery stores and restaurants in a 5 minute radius. Overall if you are looking to travel to Boston, I advice you to stay here. It is perfect and affordable!
This place was absolutely perfect for 2 people. The location is as central as it gets. Very easy check-in. TV had Netflix, Hulu, etc. capabilities. Kitchen was cute and fully stocked with whatever utensils you could need. Really enjoyed staying here.
Great price for a spot right in the heart of everything! Very clean and accurately depicted. Would definitely stay here again!
Good & clean nice view location perfect
Great location, plenty of food options around
We had an excellent stay with Albert. The location of the apartment is perfect, moreover it is very functional. Close to all amenities. I recommend it 100%.
Fantastic location, very clean and comfortable. Great value.
Nothing really bad to stay but nothing good either. The location is the best part about it. The elevator was broken so I had to carry 4 bags up 3 flights. Decently clean but the place is just not modern. Not a truly comfortable place to stay but the price and location makes it a slight deal in Boston.
-super great host. Answered my questions really fast. -the building is ok. Definitely an older building. Water stains on ceilings and walls. And the elevator didn’t work. -location was alright. You can walk to a lot close by.
Albert was quick to respond and very accommodating on last minute booking. The place is beautiful and in the perfect location to access everything you need in the city! Would definitely stay here again.
This was not the best stay for me. Albert was terrible with communication. Denied access to my mail, needed repairs upon check in like running water from the bathroom sink, and the heating which was never fixed my entire two weeks here (during a historical snow storm in Boston), and the apartment was completely falsely advertised from photos that must have been when the place peaked.
Great location and clean spot for a weekend in the city. Parking is very close by
Pros: 1. Location is great for the price 2. The unit has the amenities described in the listing Cons: 1. The building appears outdated (back entrance staircases etc.). The elevator wasn’t working, as advertised in the listing. The unit looks more modern in photos but wasn’t misrepresented. 2. The toilet doesn’t flush well. The bowl takes 2-3minutes to fill up after flushing so it’s hard for two people to flush back to back. 3. The unit heat was set at 94 degrees upon arrival and wasn’t adjustable. We had to open windows to have a hospitable environment. 4. Albert alerted us that the open windows caused the pipes to freeze. However, he did not mention this until days after we left (our check out was Saturday and he called the Tuesday after - 72 hours later). He implied it was done maliciously or due to incompetence, which seemed unnecessarily rude to address the situation considering we have been responsive and courteous since.
Albert is very good host!He respond fast and the entire team is very kind!
location cannot be beat for this value
This studio was in the perfect location: close to the T, easy walking distance to many historic locations and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we would 100% stay again!!! Clean and convenient!
Albert was a great host. The location is prime, the apt is clean/cozy, and the cost was cheap compared to other similar located rentals. 10/10.
Very nice!
This apartment is in an amazing location. We were able to walk everywhere and there were lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries nearby. The stairs were not an issue for us but we tend to travel light. It was great having a clean kitchen to use since COVID limited our dining options. There is street noise but that’s to be expected in a city apartment and the trade off for being so close to everything. Just note that the check in time is later than most Airbnbs and there is no provision to drop off bags early.
Wonderful location, home away from home feel. We will definitely be staying again when we’re back in Boston. Highly recommend.
We had a great stay. Perfect for my husband and I as we explored the city. It is in a PRIME location - multiple subway stations within walking distance, right in the heart of everything in town. We didn’t have the trouble accessing the unit that other mentioned, but we didn’t go looking for the lift as we prefer taking the stairs. Would absolutely stay here again!
Very cool pad in a perfect location for a great price. Strongly recommend!
Pros: the host and team were very responsive, check in was easy and smooth and the location is easy walking distance to many attractions. Cons: the room is more outdated than It looks in the pictures. The bathroom sink is barely connected to the wall and kept moving. The bed did not have a fitted sheet and therefore the sheet kept coming off when sleeping. Thus we would wake up on the mattress which was older and looked to be a little stained. One night in the bathroom, two small bugs were crawling around very fast and while I cannot confirm I am fairly certain they were small or baby cockroaches. When we told the host team they said they would let maintenance know to leave roach traps. Making It seem that this was a common issue that was not relayed before our stay. I have stayed in New York and never had this happen. Overall the best part of this place is the location. Not worth the cost, you are better off paying a little extra and staying at a hotel.
Simple and cute place that is very convenient to get around. Walking distance to most tourist spots and train stations. The only downside to me is the check in/ out time. By default, you check in at 5 pm and out at 10 am, but you have the option to pay to extend those time. Many places have earlier check in and later check out, so this feels like they are just trying to squeeze more $ out of you. If you can plan around those time, then you have nothing to worry about!
beautiful cozy place. within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. definitely recommend!
Albert's Airbnb was walking distance from almost everything we did in Boston in every direction. It was the perfect size for my friend and I to stay, not needing anything big. We had questions at initial check in and they answered immediately.
Albert’s place was easy to check in to and to find, was in a great location, and was a great place to stay!
This place is a great stay. It’s a big, open studio, with lots of natural light. Walking distance to restaurants and historical sites. We had a time and were able to walk everywhere during our stay. Close to the subway as well, so very easy to get around. Will be back in the future!
This place was absolutely amazing!! So close to everything and would definitely stay here again!!
This was niiice nice! Right in the ❤️ of Downtown Boston which was sooo convenient. Thanks Albert!
This unit is the perfect location for a Boston getaway! It’s within walking distance to all of the major areas and for what’s not, you’re within a stone’s throw to the T line and public transit that’s incredibly easy to navigate. Check-in was easy, the way in/out of the building is a little confusing if you need to use the elevator. The unit itself is a great size for two people and the smart TV is a nice touch. Very nice sized kitchen and shower. With that said, this unit could do a few small things to elevate it to be a GREAT unit instead of a good one. There’s no shelf in the shower… no where to put your soap/razor/shampoo. Only one small mirror in the bathroom, making it tough to get ready if you have multiple people. The bed is not very comfortable - it sinks towards the middle and there were some minor stains on our sheets. There were scuffs on / small holes in the walls and the decorating felt sloppy. This place feels like a hotel and does not have the charm of an Airbnb or any of those special touches that come with an individual vs. a management company, but the AWESOME location and the unit as a whole make it a worthwhile place to stay.
Great stay in great location. Building was quiet and was easy to find. We would stay again :)
Place is spacious and well equipped with new appliances, central temp, and general necessities. Super clean and comfortable! Host team had excellent communication. Place is 5-15min walking/subway to basically everything.
The unit itself is very clean and nice. Great location. Just be aware that it can be a bit of a hassle to get to the elevator if your room is on a higher floor. Would definitely recommend this location as long as you don’t mind some stairs.
Great communication and responsiveness. Convenient location. Super easy checkin. Clean and utilitarian for what we needed. Thanks!
Was clean and great space for a short stay, good location downtown, too, within walking distance of Boston Commons, restaurants, Chinatown, more. Had some issues with the lock but we figured it all out!
loved this place! Great location and check in! Loved this place and will definitely be staying again!
Great place, convenient set up. Was in town alone for work for a week and this checked all my boxes.
This bnb is in a great location! Right next to the trains so it’s easy to get around. The photos are accurate to the place. I had seen the reviews about the city noises, which is to be expected in downtown Boston. When we were there, you could tell the windows didn’t seal properly so a lot of noise comes in from the outside as if the windows were open. If you’re a sensitive sleeper, definitely not the place for you. Great value and space for two though!
The location was perfect for my needs, was as represented, and Albert was a very communicative host. Thank you!!
I loved staying here. Had so much privacy with the check in process. Which is super important during these times because I want to encounter the least amount of people possible. Highly recommend the spot!
Apartment is as advertised, updated kitchen and bath are very nice. Location very convenient to walk the city.
Pros: The apartment is located in a great central location. When we arrived, the place was as advertised clean and easy to get to. Cons: When we checked in the front door was unlocked for some reason? Also, the ad says that the apartment can be noisy and that Boston is a large city. There was literally an active construction site out front the apartment when we got there with 24/7 jack hammers, heavy machinery, and shouting from the workers on the site. Again, this was going on 24/7! After traveling for 12 + hours this is what we had to deal with. My girlfriends and I were unable to sleep and had to get a hotel for the second two nights that we were in Boston. Save your time and money and get another place!
Clean and perfect for 1-2 people. Albert was responsive and kind!
The apartment was just as listed, as was the surrounding area. Directions and communication from the owners was very clear and quick, so travel to and from here was smooth. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.
Beautiful studio and amazing location! Recommend to stay here if you’re in Boston!
The room is nice and clean with good accommodations. The kitchen is very nice with everything you would need. Bathroom is small, but adequate. The location is convenient to Boston Common, but there are a homeless people around that might approach you, but were harmless.
Perfect location, easy check in/out, great space!
Cute space and easy check-in! Great communication, they were always quick to answer any questions I had and super friendly!!
Really nice host!
Neat & as advertised. Good location and a lot of amenities. Nearby parking costs are high though.
Great location, amazing place!
Solid spot for a group of 2-3
The host was great during the stay with communication and responded in just minutes when there were questions or issues that came up! Check in was easy and the place was walking distance to so many great areas of Boston.
Great place. Great location. Can access the space form a couple doors which was nice. We took the train in and the location to the stop was amazing. We used the bike city service and walked all of the trip and everyplace we went this spot was a great starting spot. Didn’t have any noise issues other than your typical city noise but nothing the fan they provided didn’t solve. It’s a great place, can’t wait to visit again!
Clean and convenient location in downtown Boston.
Very clean and tidy. Basic amenities with the feel of staying at a regular hotel, but it's all we needed for our stay. I was a little bummed to see a coffee pot but no coffee available so be sure to bring your own if it's a need first thing in the AM, otherwise; there are a number of amazing coffee shops around. Located perfectly and was walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go.
This is a clean and easy stay in an excellent location right next to T and walkable to historical spots. There is pretty consistent noise outside through the night so do take earplugs if you are a light sleeper but it didn’t detract from my stay. Definitely recommend!
Apartment is true to listing. Wish we stayed longer!
highly recommend this place to anyone who is coming through the downtown area. they were more than accommodating and I will be back for sure.
Overall this is a great air bnb to see the Boston. The best part is the location, easy walking to everything you want to do. Check in and out was easy and host was very communicative and responsive. It’s not the most posh place I’ve ever stayed but we truly only there for sleeping so it did the job great!
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here! The location is prime, there is plenty of space, and it wasn't too loud despite being in the center of the city.
This apartment is exactly as pictured! And the location was amazing. We wanted to experience Boston and we were a 15-20 minute walk from all the great places. Definitely in the center of everything! Would recommend packing or requesting a sound machine if you’re a light sleeper due to normal city street noise. Overall we were so pleased with our stay! :)
We enjoyed our stay in the city! We always love coming to Boston, and this apartment was in the heart of the city. We walked almost everywhere. It was super easy to get to any location close. There are T stations conveniently located just steps outside of the apartment. There is also a lot of shopping right outside the complex. We would stay again! There are parking garages around, but many make you leave by 5-8am. We luckily had a spot from my sister with a parking pass to park at but it could be an inconvenience. Disclaimer: It is a city, so be prepared for noises all night. We live in DC and are used to this, but if you are not, then make sure you are ready for that. Thanks again for letting us stay!
very clean and well-furnished
This place is fantastic. You can’t seriously beat the location! Everything is walking distance. The subway is so close. Is just perfect. The space is really cozy. We would love to come back and stay here again. For last, Host is extremely nice, very responsive and attentive. We enjoyed Boston wonderfully while staying here.
Beautiful and clean space. Great location and great communication with the host!!
This is a great room with a great location! We were right in the heart of everywhere we wanted to go, allowing us to easily walk. Quiet location with no noisy neighbors- only typical city "noise" was heard at night, which was quieter than anticipated! Check in and out was a breeze with very few, reasonable expectations for departure. We will definitely be back for our next Boston trip.
Pros: -Very clean -Great location -Fast communication Cons: When we arrived the toilet wouldn’t flush. For half a day whenever we needed to use the restroom we had to walk to a restaurant and purchase something to use their facilities (which weren’t the cleanest). We also discovered that the dishwasher wouldn’t turn on. I also pointed out that the room didn’t come with baking sheets and the host responded that the room only comes with pots and pans. After pointing out that the Airbnb description says baking sheets is when we received our baking sheets. Everything was eventually fixed after request.
Very good location! Very nice place. The check in process was very easy and straight forward. Multiple parking garages in the area that are walking distance as well
Great location and accessibility to all of Boston. Just note that this is operated by a large business and they are not nearly as personable as an Airbnb run by the sole owner of a house/apartment. Our experience was good, but felt more like staying in a Holiday Inn looking to make the most money off of you rather than offering a good experience.
If you are coming to Boston this is the place you want to stay! It was clean, plenty of space for the 2 of us, and a wonderful place to relax after a long day of sight-seeing. The location was perfect, within walking distance of many major attractions. I highly recommend this place to anyone!
Nice spot in the center of downtown. parking is the area is cheap and the host was very fast with responses. Had what I needed for my night stay
Amazing and cute place in downtown Boston . 5 stars ⭐️
I enjoyed staying here. It’s now one of my favorites. I’m looking forward to the next time. Thank you
Albert’s place was ideally located. We were in walking distance to all of Boston’s best attractions. Though there is no parking on the property there are tons of parking options close by and we were able to find a garage that was a five minute walk away for only $20 for the entire weekend. Albert was very responsive and thoughtful when any issues arose during our stay.
Very happy with the deal. There was a hiccup initially, but the owner replied back instantly and got the problem sorted out in minutes, upgrading us to an even better space. Problems happen, but the place Iwant to stay is the one where the owner goes aoverand beyond to make sure I am taken care of.
Great space in a really great location! I would definitely return. Check in was easy and efficient.
Fantastic place to stay!
Albert was an unbelievable host! Timely responses, kind and helpful. The place was sparkling clean in a prime location downtown . Would highly recommend this stay!
Enjoyed my stay. Everything we needed was there. Only hiccup was that we were given the incorrect door code but it was fixed rather quickly.
Our stay at Alberts place was outstanding. Located right in downtown Boston near great restaurants and easy access to public transit. Amazing host 10/10! We will be coming again!
My girlfriend and I had a great stay in this unit. It is within walking distance to of plenty of cute bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and sightseeing locations like the Boston Common. In addition, public transit is no more than two blocks away. The place is homey, well decorated, and well stocked. Everything was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Albert and his team were quick to respond to any questions that we had and always did so in a kind, efficient way. We could not be happier about our stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Boston!
This apartment was very clean, very cute, and in the BEST location. Very close to all of the major sites and experiences to see in Boston and is very close to a T station for easy travel to places farther than walking distance. Our main issue was that one night, a woman was able to unlock and open the door to the apartment while we were there (the doors are locked with a pin pad, and she knew the correct code on the first try). The only reason she wasn’t able to fully open the door and come inside was the U-shaped lock at the top of the door that we had flipped. This was very concerning for us, especially because we loved everything else about our experience.
In general a good place to stay when considering the price Pros: 1. Location is perfect 2. Room is spacious and very clean 3. Daily rate is very friendly Cons: 1. One window can’t be sealed properly, so the first night was pretty cold, took one night to wait for the heater to climb up the temperature. 2. The whole floor has been remodeled to be used as Airbnb, so there could be lots of noise from other rooms or street
nice and clean, quick replies
The apartment was clean, styled and functional. The kitchen was a nice space and basic cookware was available. Great for 2 people! It was an easy walk or quick T ride to most areas of Boston. Some street parking is available, though times you're allowed to park there are limited. We parked in the garage about 1 block away and were charged $88 for a 2 day stay, then only $20 for an overnight stay (the signs were unclear about rates). Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here!
The room was not shown as listed, I also had an incident with hair being on the bed and a piece being missing from the TV, other than that the room satisfied my needs. thank you for having us.
Very clean and well put together space
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
