Walking distance from the Boston Common, Financial District, North End, South End and Southie! This part of town is commonly named Downtown Crossing as most of the city's Subway's or (T-lines) intersect at Park Street station and Downtown Crossing T stop. The State Street and Park Street stations are within close walking distance. Silver Line service is also available. You can get literally anywhere in the city for a few dollars and a Tpass.
The apartment building is located on a downtown street which means it's not super quiet for automobile traffic, and definitely has the lively city feel as foot traffic is sure to be noticeable any time of day, even in the winter.
Important to note is that lately there has been a gathering of homeless people during the day and night, right outside the 7/11 around the corner. The high foot-traffic provides them opportunities to pan-handle. Please use your caution, and common sense. We've never had an issue, but for folks visiting from towns and rural settings may find this surprising, even concerning.
We've taken measures to make sure our guests are very safe and comfortable during their stays. The building is monitored in shifts and sweeps by our security partner. The Boston Improvement Department does nightly walks of the property and nearby streets. There is also on-site security in the Arch Street building 24/7.
Some of the best takeout and restaurants spots may have temporarily closed from Covid, but we're confident the area will be very livable for your stay!
Shipping up to Boston? We put together a great guide filled with information for getting around the city and beyond!
Downtown Boston is easy to navigate. It’s compact, walkable, has an abundance of taxis, yes they still exist! And Uber's are always a tap away. What makes Boston so accessible is it's public transportation system. Driving downtown can be a challenge with its dated road layout and limited parking options but, it’s the most convenient option for travel outside of Boston Proper.
The MBTA is Boston’s public transportation system, and it’s a great way to get around quickly and cheaply. The “T” refers to the subway, which runs throughout Boston, into Cambridge, and into nearby suburbs, providing access to all the attractions located in Boston. Just look for the big "T" in a circle to find a stop.
You can also take buses to get all over the city, and the Commuter Rail is an easy way to get to points outside of Boston. You can buy paper “Charlie Tickets” for single or multiple subway rides at vending machines located in most stations. When your ticket runs low, visit a fare vending machine to add value. A single basic fare for the T is $2.75 with a Charlie Ticket, although if you pick up a Charlie Card (a plastic card like a credit card), the fare is lower at $2.25 for one way. You can load the Charlie Card with an amount of your choosing, so it's smart way to explore the city. They're available at almost every T stop, and are free to get. Once on board, hang on! Being one of the oldest public transportation systems in the country, the T is not always the smoothest ride.
Parking. or "Paahking" is hard to find, expensive (by most tourists accounts) and is best done in lots or garages for peace of mind. Please check out a website called "Spot Hero" to find the most updated options and prices!
In this section we want to stress that in all City apartments, in all neighborhoods, there is the possibility of noise at night. Many times it is completely out of our control. We can provide noise machines and earplugs, but we will not refund any stays that are shortened or cancelled because of noise from construction, traffic, neighbors, or pedestrian noise. Boston is a major American metropolis, it comes with its beauty and it's noise. This will be noted in our house rules, and when bookings are confirmed, it is a contract that you, the guest, is agreeing to. We also want to make it known that the entrance to the building has a bit of a funky access - from the street level you enter into a back stairwell and you head up a flight of stairs to the first floor. From here, you can find the stairwell or elevator to top floors. There is also another entrance through the glass revolving doors at 101 Arch Street and an entrance on the left which will take you to the first floor lobby where you'll easily find the stairs and elevator.
Less
Great location. A little small but has everything you might need for a short stay. There is a considerable amount of street noise but that is to be expected in any city
Amazing location right in downtown Boston and the hosts were always quick to respond!!
The location is great for walking to sights and food options. As two women traveling together we felt safe. Unit was very clean.
excellent room and location
It really was a fantastic place to stay. Very clean and welcoming, lots of amenities, descriptive instructions and even helpful recommendations. Location was awesome, close to transit, restaurants, tons of activities within walking distance. A really nice spot/location. One piece of information to be aware of, is that this location comes with alot of homeless people, wandering or begging ect, on the surrounding streets. It could be a little uncomfortable at times especially at night. However, we did not run into any issues and they now have security guards / police officers hired on the corners for safety. Would stay again without a doubt.
Excellent location to visit the city
overall a solid place as listed. my only complaint is that the area was near a homeless shelter. the vestibule to open doors to the building quite often had individuals squatting in it which felt unsafe. it was very loud at night as it is a popular area. the location overall is very convenient, near shopping, restaurants, Boston Commons and metro stops.
Hosts were easy to communicate with, and the room is right in the middle of downtown Boston. However, the room was a little beat up (scuffs on walls, water damage on ceiling), and there is practically nowhere to park your car in the immediate area. If you are looking to book, I strongly recommend that you read the house rules first to determine if the rules are okay with you; there are quite a few arbitrary rules with steep penalities.
Great location. Center of Boston and everything is walkable
The stay was amazing! It was more spacious than we anticipated for downtown Boston! Our host was incredibly thoughtful and communicative about everything within the space. Would absolutely look to stay in the same place when we come back!
Amazing location, within walking distance to so many top sights! Lots of food options are very close, and a full grocery store is right around the corner. The apartment was extremely clean, and the host was very responsive and provided excellent instructions for check-in/check-out. There are a minor things that other guests have already mentioned, but for the location and convenience, they were easy for us to overlook. We had a lovely stay.
Thank you for a great stay!
Wonderful stay and in a great location. Highly recommend.
Early check in was easy to schedule thanks to responsive hosts and staying with Healing Homes made my visit to Boston very nice.
A great downtown location, unit was clean, and modern (very good A/C for our August trip)- perfect for us. Thanks so much!
Overall wonderful stay. Clean and comfy studio apartment. Just be aware that it's city life and the surroundings are what you'd expect in the center of downtown crossing.
We are joyed our stay at Healing Homes. Terrific location in Boston and easy to reach several Tstops. We will stay here again.
An absolutely great place to stay in Boston - near all the amenities and the T, and it was easy to get everywhere from the location.
Great location and easy check in
Had some trouble getting to my correct room; once it was sorted out, the room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was especially comfy and the linens were soooo soft! Future guests should be aware that the building has 5 floors and no elevator.
Overall a great price and location for Boston. The room itself had a lot of patches on the wall with poor paint jobs. The room stays lit even at night because of the giant window behind the bed with out proper curtains.
Great location, really close and within walking distance to many food spots! Very clean and comfortable stay
Great apartment, great space for two. We chose this apartment because it was advertised with a complete kitchen. The kitchen is great but the cooking utensils/ needs could be a little better. More flexibility with check-in would be appreciated, 5pm check in is quite late. There is no flexibility to make this earlier… unless you pay. For the rest, it was a pleasant stay!
We enjoyed our stay and the host was very accommodating.
Does not get anymore central than this! Walkability is great, close to transit and food.
Room and linens were very clean. Checking and out was extremely easy. There are two doors to 103 Arch st. I was confused for only about 5 minutes trying to find the keypad at the wrong door 😂😂😂. So if you don’t see the keypad immediately, walk another 20 ft and you’ll see the second door. There is also a sound machine in the room for those who have a hard time sleeping in completely silence with city noise. Overall great place to stay.
Great location. Walking distance or short Uber to most places downtown
Great location downtown close to most of the attractions in Boston. Walkable to most of the historic sights. The apartment is very clean and modern. I only stayed a few days but would be good for a longer stay, it has full kitchen and all the amenities. Very easy and straightforward check-in and good communication with the host. Highly recomended if you need a place to stay i Boston, short term or long term.
Great place and location
First off, this place has a fantastic location! located in the downtown district and only a few blocks from China Town, Quincy Market/Marina and Boston Common. There's the orange and red line just a block away and easy to get to the green and blue lines too. The price was decent and cheaper than hotels with their fees/taxes all said and done. This somewhat comes with a cost though it may be small. The unit itself is alright, the bed was ok but not that comfortable. The water pressure is abysmal but the water temperature can get very hot suddenly, so be aware of that so you don't get burned. The curtain in the window doesn't fit properly so you'll have a lot of light coming in window when you're trying to sleep, bring eye covers for that. Also bring ear plugs or some noise machine because there's zero insulation from that said window, you'll hear everything from outside. While we felt very safe here, there were always homeless people sitting in front of the door and bad smells.
Clean, comfortable.
Really good stay! Prime location and very easy communication :)
Definitely cozy, but nice, clean, and close to whatever you want to do in Boston.
Great place to stay in downtown Boston. Clean, comfortable, easy in & out and responsive hosts.
Nice place, clean , and very good location . Nice cafe beer the apartment . Could be a little noisy at night . All the rest perfect !
I was in Boston for just a few fun days and I loved staying in the Healing Homes listing. It was centrally located near the T line—this is perfect if you’re looking to explore different areas of Boston. It’s literally 400 feet from the doors of the airbnb. I also want to point out there was a 7eleven right by which made it easy to grab a bottle of water or late night snack. My only comments are that I wish there a blackout shade in the window. It was very bright through out the night and morning. I also have to say the water pressure in the shower made it very difficult to wash my hair clean. I wish the instructions about the elevator on the second floor were a little more clear. I was traveling with lots of stuff and it was hard to lug around to find the elevator. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The cost is more than fair for the experience you get. It’s in a great area and there’s a Luggage Nanny right near by if you need to drop your bags somewhere before or after check in/out.
I had a great stay with Healing Homes. They were able to provide an earlier check-in (for an acceptable fee). Access instructions were excellent, as was pre-arrival communication. The room seemed professionally cleaned (I formerly worked in hospitality management) and was succintly furnished.
My stay at the studio was great, very cozy and comfortable. Building was safe, quiet, and had an easy check-in process. The stay is centrally located, very close to the T Downtown Crossing stop, and lots of bars/restaurants/activities nearby!
This was a perfect stay for myself, my dog, and my best friend during a quick meetup; we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go! The noise machine in the nightstand was a wonderful surprise. :) Boston is a new halfway meeting point for my best friend and I and we'll be sticking with Healing Homes rentals.
I enjoyed my stay. Super convenient spot, right off Downtown Crossing subway stop.
Great spot close to a lot in the Boston. Its a very walkable city in general, but this BnB has a great centralized location. Only about a 15 minute walk from the north end, and TD Garden. Place was clean and as advertised. Check in was easy and simple.
Perfect location. Right in the middle of everything. Lots in walking distance. Building secured with overnight security.
The apartment was exactly as described, and in a really great location. Healing Homes sent really easy instructions for check in and check out.
Very nice place to stay. Clean, comfort, and convenient access.
The apartments were really nice.
Great location, walkable to everywhere in Boston.
Nice experience, well-equipped room, and, good location.
Instructions were very clear and the people are super friendly and easy to ahold of if you have questions. Highly recommend this place!
Easy to find. Good location close to many amenities and public transport.
Albert's place was perfect location to everything we needed to do in Boston. We could walk everywhere, there were tons of great restaraunts, close to the subway, and lots of coffee shops around in the mornings.
Alberts place was a good price for being in the middle of Boston but be ready to pay lots for parking if you drive 😭 street parking is pretty much nonexistent but the place was in the middle of Boston and could easily get around, clean space and overall worked great for the weekend!
Great place within walking distance of downtown. Host was very responsive and helpful with any questions in a timely manner.
First time visiting Boston, and this was an amazing find. So many bars and restaurants under a mile. Very navigable to get in and out of the space. Super seamless checkin. Would definitely stay here again!
Great location, easy check in!
Albert’s place is in a great location and it was really clean! We had a really comfortable stay.
Albert was a great host. Great location and very clean place. Would recommend!
I really liked the location and the fact that the apartment contained a lot of small but important details (all the necessary kitchen utensils, hair dryer).
Location was easy to find based on the hosts instructions sent to us before check in. The place had everything we needed and was relatively close to the Boston Commons. Most places we wanted to check out were within a walking distance and we spent most of the weekend walking around to explore the city.
Great room. Clean. Great, great location. Thank you
The property was located downtown and it’s fairly close to everything. The only thing that I had issues with is people hanging out in front of the entrance mostly every evening as we returned from exploring the town. Otherwise it was clean and very quiet.
Great little 1 bedroom apartment. Fully furnished & comfy..Had an issue with leaving phone after checkout. One of Alberts workers kindly let us back in to retreive. Very good service. Only a few minutes walk to the transit
This place is great ! Location was the best part and staff were super responsive. Super clean and well maintained. Quite and private as well. Only downfall is the stairs go get to unit. There is an elevator but you have to walk up stairs to access. I would not recommend for people that have trouble with stairs. Everything else was perfect.
The room was clean, and the check in was easy. However, it was inconvenient to bring the luggage. The elevator only went from 2nd floor and above. Therefore, I will need to carry the suitcase to the 2nd floor to take the elevator.
Lovely place to stay, will definitely keep in mind when in the city again!
A wonderful studio for our short stay in Boston. Would definitely recommend. Friendly and easy to communicate with too.
A nice apartment for a good cause! Great amenities such as kitchen, refrigerator, etc. if you are staying for longer.
We had a wonderful stay! It was easy to get in and out of the unit, the space was comfortable & well-laid out, and the building was perfectly centrally located for our needs.
Great stay! Close walking distance to restaurants, we enjoyed walking to Boston common. Place was clean and convenient and had everything we needed for the 1 night stay. Would def book again in the future.
Great place close to or easy to go with public transport to what you want to see and should enjoy in Boston. Safe place! Directions and information were precise and right. Would return and recommend, although a bit pricy, but … ! Good to hear that a portion of $$$ goes to support people coming to Boston for health treatment! John
Very clean and very thorough instructions. Very much enjoyed my stay
Was convenient for short trip. Host was super flexible.
The host was very communicative and the location was perfect!
great place would definitely go back.
Great location close to Downtown Crossing. I was attending a conference at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and was able to walk there and back comfortably. There is fair warning ahead of time that since you are downtown, naturally there is noise at night; however, it wasn't actually so bad for me. Perhaps the unit could benefit from a larger (or second) curtain over the window to block out more light at night. The bed was comfortable to sleep on and the apartment was very clean. The team was incredibly responsive to messages! We had an infant with us and they were even willing to provide a pack-n-play for our use. The area is very walkable (the Commons, chinatown, north end), with plenty of food options, and close to the subway.
We had such an incredible stay at this Airbnb! Me and my partner stayed here for ~2 weeks and we had such a pleasant experience. The host responded within 20 minutes any time I had reached out! You cannot beat this location in Boston. It is central and walkable to everything, and just around the block from the T (subway)! The apartment was very clean upon arrival. The check in and check out process was very simple. The reviews left by previous guests are accurate: the apartment is suitable for a maximum of 2 people, and it does get pretty noisy at night, so if you are a light sleeper than that is something that may bother you. I would say the only downside of this airbnb is that there are a few homeless people that live right outside the building. They would linger and sit on the stoop by the doorway to get into the building, but they were polite and moved when they realized we were trying to get inside, so if you are staying here alone it may be a bit scary/uncomfortable at night.
Easy check in, clean room, great location and responsive team.
Host was very responsive and friendly. Place was clean and as described. Got the job done for me and one friend for our short stay in Boston. Walkable to all downtown activities and a short Uber ride from other parts of Boston. If looking for a place to store your bags aside from the room before check-in, use Bounce Luggage Storage. The places recommended by the host either weren’t open (flew in on Sunday) or simply didn’t exist.
After reading some reviews I was nervous about the surrounding area, however coming from an already busy city (Philly) I quickly realized how safe it was. Boston in general felt so safe. no one bothers you! The general space of the apartment was sooo clean and smelt like fresh laundry. Was pleased about that. The location is perfect, walkable to everywhere. Thanks for the stay we really appreciate it!
Great place stay. I hope stay again my trip Boston. Also this host has a mission statement
Tidy but small space, perfect for one person. An easy walk to the convention center on Summer Street. No was no coffee, and the tv did not work but was fixed when asked. the window shade is white and allows the street lights into the room all night so bring a sleep mask for your eyes. a great value for a single person traveling into Boston.
Great place! It had exactly what we needed for a weekend in Boston. Bathroom was spacious, and there were ear plugs and a noise machine already there if you needed it. The city is loud at night, but all of them are. This was a convenient location and the host was very responsive. Great value too!
Clean and comfortable! A little bit noisy when big trucks/vehicles passing by, but it’s normal in a big city downtown area. I enjoyed my stay.
The room is clean and comfortable. The owner is very responsive. I enjoyed my stay!
Had a good/okay stay, Pros- location was in the center of everything, bed was comfortable, place had everything (microwave, dishwasher, fridge) great host and very flexible. CONS- very bad water pressure in bathroom sink (couldn’t use for anything) VERY strong sewer smell in bathroom, lots of dust…Window was filthy, and top of fridge. Also, did not enjoy the stairs.. especially with two 50 lb suitcases and two 20 lb suitcases. The stairs were narrow and steep, hard on someone with a bad back! Lots of homeless outside, smells of urine in entry way. Would recommend for staying a night or two with light luggage and pepper spray. Felt uncomfortable walking alone outside, which is rare.
I loved staying here and it’s perfect walking distance to everything that you could need while in Boston
Albert was an excellent host. one of the best I have ever met for Airbnb rooms. The room was value for money, as per the description and close to the center. the only negative is that the sink water pressure from the bathroom was not so good. I used the sink of the kitchen to clean my hands a couple of times.
The apartment has a great location and everything is clean and new! I would recommend it for sure!
I spent two very comfortable nights here. Everything was just as described in the listing, and when I did have a question the response was fast and helpful. There was little to no noise inside the building itself, I could hardly tell I had neighbors at all which I found to be a pleasant surprise. The building is also quite centrally located with easy access to food, transportation, shops and more. All in all, I would certainly recommend this stay!
This is a great studio apartment in a great part of town! Just a couple minute walk from several major T stations, restaurants, shops, grocery store and Boston Commons. Bed was very comfortable and it has everything you need for a short or long stay. The host was nice enough to waive our early entry fee and helped me by providing a noise machine! Highly recommend!
very nice location. also very clean.
Great downtown location, close to T lines. It’s small but it works for a short stay. The communication with host and instructions were great.
Great stay. Location was amazing. Seemed like we were a short walk from everything.
Very comfortable, great location, extremely responsive host, clean, accommodating. I didn't notice there being an elevator, so worth knowing if you need that. Would definitely stay here again!
The unit was clean and there’s many food options within walking distance. You’re also a 5 minute walk from Boston Common
We enjoyed our stay at this place. Very conveniently located in the middle of Boston Downtown. Comfortable place and very clean. If the check in/out hours could be adjusted a little bit for more flexibility it would be even better. The neighborhood tends to be a little loud but expected from other reviews so it was not a big deal. Overall it was a great trip. Recommended.
The place was lovely, well maintained, and in an ideal location. There was clear communication regarding the check-in process and what to expect in the area. I really appreciated the attention to detail with the soaps, towels, and interior design of the space which added to a cozy feel.
Really great, especially for the price I got it this week. It’s in a great location, near by all restaurants, super markets, shops..etc Parking lot only 5 mins walk. Very cozy apartment. Thank you for hosting me.
Great place! Was a nice getaway from the city
The apartment was exactly as listed, the location is decent in terms of connections by train, and the host team was excellent in terms of communication.
My girlfriend and I loved the layout and design of the unit! The bed and comforter were both amazing. The location was excellent.
great location! great space and has all the amenities you would need. super close to the T so perfect for when it’s hot out. will definitely stay again when back in boston!!
It was a great location, bed was soft!
Great spot! Clean and had everything we needed.
My stay was great! The studio was very clean and the location is excellent. It's just a few minutes in either direction to two main subway stations. It's also walking distance to the Common and great food/ drink options. Communication with the host was also great (very friendly & responsive). Check-in and Check-out instructions were very clear. I would definitely recommend booking this place!
Excellent location and easy check in. Clean and as presented. Perfect central Boston location.
This apartment has a great view! My favorite place in Boston. Great place to crash, very clean, and very good location as far as food.
Stayed here for a business trip. The place is located in the heart of downtown Boston. Easy to move anywhere in the city by short walk. Well equipped with an iron, hangers for suits.
the place is centrally located and quiet at the same time. it is extremely clean and has all amenities for a short stay. it was really fun!
Great location to crash for the night, walkable to everywhere in downtown. Check-in was easy due to the communication from the host.
Great location for a first time trip to Boston!! Very walkable to many attractions and a lot right in the neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets smelled wonderful!! A small room was perfect for two people and we were very comfortable! We would stay again!
Great central location to many of Boston's sights and restaurants. Chinatown to your South and North end lil' Italy to the North. Make sure to read the listing earplugs needed (if lightsleeper).
Great place and location! The team was very responsive and accommodating. Safe location and very accessible!
The studio has a great location, right next to the subway and many shopping and eating options nearby. The space felt clean and safe, and it was nice that there were kitchen utensils as well. Internet wasn't super fast, but overall was good enough for video streaming and conference calls. Hosts were very responsive.
Great spot for our stay in Boston to visit our son during college graduation week. Plenty of space for two of us and a great location/value. Would totally stay there again.
Great location and price! It was accurately descibed. Easy check in and conveniently located. Only slight negatives was 5 pm check in and no food or coffee provided (both items were accurate in description).
great location, easy check in, simple and sufficient living space. near everything you could need
This was perfect for a quick trip to Boston - excellent location, right next to the T. Clean and has all the basics. Bed was comfortable.
This unit was perfect in every way for a place near the financial district. It’s location is in the heart of downtown Boston and easily accessible to everything. Any questions I had were promptly answered and addressed - the communication and response time was close to immediate! The unit was clean and safe and I highly recommend this Airbnb.
Place was exactly as advertised. Detailed instructions to get inside and no confusion at all. Great bargain deal for a downtown space.
This unit is in a great location with easy access to much of Boston and good public transit. It is also walking distance to the silver line to and from the airport. The unit itself is very small.
It was a lovely little apartment with all the necessities. Posting is accurate and communication was great. Make sure to follow advice regarding parking as there is no other parking really available, especially for overnight. Location is absolutely perfect
Great location and price. Smooth check in and out. Unit had everything you would need! Would definitely stay again in the future.
It’s a really great location as it’s easy to walk everywhere and mere minutes to the train station. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby too. The check in/checkout was super easy using the keypads. Note there are two outdoor entrances that say 103 on top, it’s to the left! Communication was always fast. Our main issue is that the window is above the bed and lets in the cold and the heater broke on the last night :/ It can get noisy from the street too so I’d recommend using a white noise app. And if light bothers you, bring a sleep mask as there’s just a thin curtain that doesn’t cover the whole window and lets lots of light in.
Just a really good all around airbnb to stay at!
The room and the location are perfect! Close to public transportations as well as spacious and cozy! The communication was also great. Highly recommend! (only that check-in and check-out time is a bit different from usual time that we did not notice while we booked, but also not a problem at all!)
Place was in a great location. Check in process was super easy. Cleanliness was eh. A few large black hairs left in the sink and shower walls upon checking in. Microwave above stove does not work and there is a smaller microwave above the fridge.
If I could leave more than five stars I would. I was here for a work trip and the entire time I felt as if it were a vacation. I felt right at home and so comfortable. The unit was spotless upon arrival and stock with everything you could need. The team managing the unit responded to EVERY message no later than a minute. They are very good with communicating and work hard to ensure your stay is perfect, which it was! The location itself is lovely. There are grocery stores, convenience stores and shopping stores in walking distance. I recommend Avenue De Lafyette Parking Garage for parking (They are right down the block). I will definitely be returning next time I am in Boston. I HIGHLY recommend.
Always responded within minutes - Airbnb was amazing!
Great stay. I am a student in Boston and have to say this is one of the best place you could find in the city for this price and value
The Airbnb has a fantastic location which is minutes away from any major tourist destination. They are receiving a two star review though because on my party’s first night we noticed the blind was broken allowing anyone to be able to see into the studio apartment from across the street. We brought this to our hosts attention and at first we were told they would send someone out the following day to fix it. Sadly, it was never fixed during our stay and this wide open window made me and my girlfriend feel very uncomfortable during our stay because not only can you see into the whole studio but it is also right above the bed. This felt to be a large invasion of our privacy during our trip and when you pay for a room the one thing you hope to have is privacy. The response during our trip was good but when I explained to our host how this negatively impacted our experience during our trip I was told “management will make its decision on a form of compensation and get back to you on Monday.” After following up about this Tuesday and today with no response I have come to the conclusion that this host does not care about making it right with my party and I will most likely never stay at another one of their Airbnb’s again because of the lack of care to make it right.
Great AirBnb! The location is amazing, the check in/out process is very easy, and the apartment itself is cute and spacious. The area and building itself felt very safe as well. The host is very kind and communicative. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Boston!
Albert's apartment is in a prime location. The downtown crossing station is approximately 2 minutes walk away. I loved that the apartment was on a side street which was just off a main street. Along the main street many restaurants, coffee shops, groceries and other stores can be found. Albert was gracious enough to allow me a complimentary early check in which was much appreciated. He was quick to respond to all of my messages and my check in was seamless. The apartment is well furnished and exactly as described. Complimentary dishwashing liquid, detergent and toiletries were an added bonus. Special mention to the bed which was very comfortable. It is to be noted that to access the apartment its a 3 flight walk up and during my stay the elevators were being maintained which became a little problematic as I suffered an ankle injury during my stay (totally unrelated to my stay or anything associated with the apartment). Despite that I would stay here again and higly recommend the space.
Overall is good. The street is kinda noisy, but building is quiet. Room is pretty cozy.
You’re paying for the location, everything else is pretty fair. I recommend requesting a decent amount of towels ahead of time. My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 days and were given 3 towels… anyways it’s a nice spot if you’re spending the majority of the time enjoying the city.
nice place and nice location. easy communication
Great communication throughout the process. Excellent experience all-around!
Convenient location in downtown and smooth self check in process. I think the value was good but you are getting what you pay for. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, there was a lingering stench likely from plumbing and few cockroaches spotted in and out of the cracks of the unsealed areas. Overall no major complaints. It’s a pretty small studio but if you’re just in town for work and not going to be home for most of the time not really a problem.
This apartment was FANTASTIC! It is just as pictures and definitely great for our long weekend trip. It is so close to the T station and has so many restaurants near by. We had a great time all around and will definitely be staying here again next time!
The place itself is nice and clean. Place has a couple of entrances and able to get to the train at ease. Location is in middle of bunch of stores. Would stay over again if I go back to Boston.
perfect location! extremely clean. well-stocked for your basic needs. fast communication. definitely use the parking apps suggested! very close walk to red line and 2 stops from MGH - perfect place for what we needed :)
I stay in Boston quite often and Ill never stay anywhere else, now that I know about this little gem. Super safe neighborhood, close to everything/anything, the place was exactly what I needed and exactly what was advertised. Communication was flawless and it is apparent that Albert is running a top notch organization. Clean, lots of amenities..why would I ever go pay double or triple for a hotel when I could rather feel like I had my own private condo for a few days.... Perfectly executed, thanks Albert. - Randy B
Very clean, bright, and neat downtown studio space. Steps away from Orange T line and Green T line. Quiet street at night, across from church. All amenities are provided including 8-10 hangers, although we didn’t have to use washer. Bed is queen-size with medium softness, for me, which surprisingly didn’t give me backache. Highly recommend this place and we will book again in the future when we return.
Great location and great studio for a couple to stay in!
Albert's instructions were very clear. The place was very clean and had a great location!
We had a lovely stay at Albert’s! Perfect location, awesome space, and great amenities. Netflix was logged in for us AND there’s a Brita for clean drinking water. This was a wonderful surprise considering how much walking we had been doing. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything! We LOVED Boston.
People with pets beware!!! The apt itself is good for renting but you may pay twice as more if you have pets bc of unreasonable extra cleaning fees. Plus the host is not understanding about cancelations for mistakes; so if you have pets look elsewhere! If you don't have pets this may be a good deal but the contrary will be upsetting as it was for my husband and I. The host does not include the pet fee on the final breakdown and then you have to venmo him $200 separately, which we were not okay with! Ask the host first about the REAL total cost and breakdown of the booking because you will be disappointed. Overall, don't be fooled about the "pet friendly" title unless you have all the money in the world to spare. A bit of a scam if you ask me.
The space was good overall. I was disappointed in the cleanliness. For the amount of money I spent to stay here, it was not cleaned very well prior to my arrival.
The apartment was clean and perfectly located. I had the best time, and Albert and his team were incredibly responsive. The check-in and check-out process was seamless!
Really nice clean apartment, on the smaller side but perfect for a short stay. Location is very convenient to attractions, public transportation. There is noise due to construction in the area but to be expected, given the location.
Stayed at Albert's place for a couple weeks. Great location! Centrally located, within walking distance of everything, and near public transit options. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and easy to work from. Albert and the team were easy to communicate with and I was always treated with respect. Will be looking for this listing again next time I'm back in Boston!
It's what's known as an efficiency apt aka it's tiny. However, the ideally central location, and the fair prices make it more than worthwhile. Pet owners be forewarned there is a non-refundable $200 pet fee. Post Office Square is the closest park BUT dogs are not allowed on the grass. Boston Common is the closest park that allows dogs on the grass.
I rented this unit for a summer internship. I was able to walk to work and various restaurants. The AC is excellent for the hot summer days. Wish list but not vital: small washer & dryer in the unit.
Great location! Very responsive host! The place was very clean and nice :)
Stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room is very clean and filled with fresh air. The space is a little tight as seen in pictures. The room is too bright at night because there is no curtain to help blocking the street lights. Very convenient. No street parking but there is a Public Parking about two blocks from the room. If you plan to come by car, the rate is $20 for 12hr or $40 for 24hrs.
The apartment is centrally located and within walking distance of wherever you need to be in Boston. The apartment has a few amenities included like shampoo, towels, dishes, the basics. It was exactly what was offered and very comfortable. It was a little bit loud at night but no louder than any city. It was very easy to ignore and sleep through. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs or to play music going to sleep. I was fine and I consider myself a lighter sleeper. Overall this was a great value with everything I needed for my stay. Thanks!
Highly recommend
Bedsheets and comforter had multiple stains, were not cleaned prior to arrival. When told to host, it was ignored.
Really enjoyed my stay at 103 Arch. A comfortable space and great location.
Lovely and cozy apartment. Looks just like the picture. Great location near downtown crossing. Enough pots/utensils in the kitchen to cook and the bed was super comfy.
The place was very clean and tidy. Smaller in person than it looks in the pictures, but works fine if you just need a place to sleep. Location is awesome. Dim sum is a must being that close to Chinatown. Albert was very helpful and attentive.
This is a great location. You can be at the water in minutes. You can be on The Common in minutes going the other direction. Tons of good stuff to eat nearby. Leave your car in the suburbs. You can walk everywhere here. Great weekend.
Great location! Easy to walk to many different areas if you enjoy walking - or take the T from downtown crossing. Very quiet and comfortable space.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
