This spot is in the heart of Downtown, so be prepared for interactions with the unhoused. That being said, we never had any issues. It comes with the territory of a downtown location. What was great? The walkability to EVERYTHING. That cannot be beat!

Location for the price is very good. Walkable everywhere. The exact street/neighborhood gets a little crack ridden at night but I wouldn’t say its unsafe. Only major complaint is that the AC was not working during our stay and host wasn’t any help in figuring it out. It was a short 2 night stay so not much that could be done in that timeframe regardless but made our nights very unpleasant and sweaty
POSITIVE: very walkable, close to major trains, nice areas around, 20 minutes to get to all major spots, host are responsive, value was reasonable. OTHER: stailess steel pots (must buy own oil), large fridge, small sink and counter space, decent size bed, tile bathroom and shower, note no nook or niche for soap in the shower, bathroom had good lighting, couches more for style than comfort. NEGATIVES: homeless sitting on entrance or sleeping on same corner. - more than usual because with 7/11 on the same block, we had 2 1.5 inch roaches during our stay, seems like ongoing problem since roach killer was under the sink (they did come same day to put traps), stains on the ceiling and bad drywall patching job on wall. Main AC was basically useless but window unit worked. Very sticky feel though. OVERALL: 3 Stars great location for walking everywhere and unit mostly as advertised. The homeless below felt a little sketch, AC not working and the roaches were the nails in the coffin for us.
My BF and I were finding a place downtown for our mini vacation and stumbled upon healing homes. We thought the place was clean and comfy and we were even more excited to find out that they donate to organizations that help future patients. loved staying there and we will def be back!
Great location - but air conditioning in main room was temperamental and kept turning off. Bedroom kept cool by separate unit, so no issues sleeping. The Airbnb is located on a busy street and you can hear noise at all hours, normal if you are used to living in a city but may be disruptive for others. Overall we were happy with the stay.

The apartment was very nice. It was clean and looked like the pictures. (Although i didnt appreciate the books on facism on the tv stand - i put them under a magazine). Getting in the building with the luggage for the first time was difficult. Another person who lived in the building showed us how to get to the first floor elevator (through an attached dentist office). Getting out was easier. The first night there we had the worst noise. First it was some type of loud drilling at midnight. Then at 4 am the city was power washing sidewalks. That was the only night like that. I think the window AC lets extra sound in. The host provided us with sound machine and ear plugs. Great location, can walk to most everything. There were some homeless around but they didnt bother you. Not as many as i expected after reading reviews. Overall had a nice time in Boston.
Would stay again. Just make sure you download the HotSpot app for parking. We parked and was able to walk every where. Just make sure to bring comfortable shoes.
it was great for the price I paid! I visit Boston often. and these were the best apartments! The skylight provided plenty of daylight! upon arrival, I realized that the central air conditioner was not working, that same evening a technician came and installed a window one. and a couple of days later they came and repaired it! The owner answered all questions immediately! It was a little noisy, but I sleep with earplugs. 7 eleven next door, 5 min supermarket. the apartment has everything you need for living.

A very clean place to stay in downtown Boston, close to 3 T lines. One should know that the elevator stated does not go to the entry door, so a flight of stairs is required.
I picked the location for its proximity to city center, but being from out west I expected everything to be so far apart. Infact we were never more than a 15 or 20 minute walk away from what we wanted to do or go see. It is conviently located next to several coffee shops and a grocery store. If you miss the regular grocery hours there is a 7-11 on the corner, which will allow you to find something to snack on or a beverage. There is an elevator, but you can't see it from the primary entrance-- if you want to use the elevator you have to go to the dentistry office or walk up a flight of stairs. In the apartment itself the kitchen is well appointed with dishes and plates and the like. We were only their for a brief stay and did not cook too much in the apartment itself but we found the kitchen to be a wonderful size for cooking. The Bedroom is quite large and has a nice chair in the corner. The bathroom boasts a massive shower that allows me, at six-foot two to shower without bending
Other than the street noise (which is totally expected given the downtown location) everything was perfect.
Very small a lot of things wrong w the basic architecture of the space stains in the ceiling the place has a funky smell found spider webs on windows, couch smells funny, kitchen appliances were dirty, location was good, lots of homeless at night, during the day its amazing to walk and the park is close by
Overall, the communication was really good and the unit was clean! The unfortunate features are the check in time isn’t until 5 pm unless you pay extra, which is way later than hotels or other stays. It makes it difficult when you’re flying in earlier in the day. Also, while they mention the potential for noise and a homeless population outside, it is worse than it appears. I live in downtown Chicago so I am used to noise, but the (construction?) noise here that started at 6:30 AM was so ridiculous and intense it was impossible to sleep and sounded like it was directly inside the apartment. It made me reconsider my stay in a couple of weeks but they don’t offer refunds.
Easy to get to, great for a work trip downtown - very walkable. Bed was very comfy and linens were crisp and clean.
I really enjoyed staying in this private place on the top floor in Boston Downtown. It gets busy downstairs, but noise didn't bother me during the stay. Kitchen has every tool you might think about when planning to cook. Host was very responsive and on point with answers. Clean, neat, put together place perfect for one or two people. I do recommend this place to stay and discover Boston when in the city. Thank you!

Very responsive host. Was very noisy at night but I didn’t mind. Basement was a little creepy for me to go do laundry. The area was close to a lot of shopping but there were a lot of homeless people around the corner. They minded their own business but just an FYI

The location was great - everything was walkable. There is a parking garage close to the location. It was a good place for a long weekend. The one issue that we had was the bathroom sink did not work. We reached out to Healing Homes however since we were visiting Boston for the first time and did not want to wait for the handy man and were uncomfortable with someone in the apartment with our valuables and belongings it did not work for the whole weekend. Other than that the place was a good location and quieter than expected - which is a great time in the city.
This is a very convenient location in downtown for an apartment with basically everything you would need. Good value for the price and easy access to the T, etc.
The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped. I had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft and clean. There were a couple of downsides, however. The building outside of the apartment itself was not clean. Also, to deter homeless folks from hanging out on the corner, the city has placed a diesel powered spotlight directly outside of the apartment's window. Due to the noise of the motor powering this light and the brightness of the light itself, I had to find other accomodation. The hosts were as helpful as possible, which I appreciated, but the noise and light were factors they could not control.
Great stay! The place looks just like the photos and the owner is so quick with detailed responses to anything, I highly recommend. But be sure to look into parking near by, I used laz parking and was only about a four minute walk!

My second time staying at Albert’s place. Great location and has everything you would need. That being said there were some noticeable stains on the walls/ceiling and on the bedsheets/towels. Much more than what I noticed during my stay last year. This is out of the control of the host but there was also road work happening outside all night which made it difficult to sleep.

The apartment is in a very convenient location in terms of having great access to many parts of Boston. It is however unfortunately very noisy at night due to a group of individuals who appear to live on the doorsteps next to the building entrance. We saw them doing a wide variety of drugs and at times it was a little uncomfortable for my wife and I coming home in the dark trying to access the building. Appreciate this is not the fault of the owner but it is a real issue nonetheless. Everything was as we expected with the apartment itself in terms of check in, cleanliness etc. so it is a shame to have to put a negative down but we feel that it is important that future guests understand that the area surrounding the apartment has its flaws.
Great place to stay and a good location. The street was fairly quiet being in the financial district. If you prefer to be near the restaurants, then I recommend the North End. But we had a little one with us so we were up early and back in early, which was perfect here. Easy walk to the Freedom Trail and groceries. If you need parking, check Spot Hero; there’s a garage right up the street! Overall great experience!
Excellent location walkable to all that Boston has to offer- or a short Uber away. The apartment was clean and welcoming. It provided the perfect place to rest and relax after long days of sightseeing. There was some city noise but nothing unusual for the location downtown. In terms of amenities we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The host was easy to contact and provided all the information we needed in a timely manner.
Such a great location for us - walkable to South Station to catch a train. Super clean, great shower and the bed was so comfy. Very clear instructions and communication. The great location does mean it is also downtown, so earplugs would be handy at night. We used the white noise machine that was provided, too. Thanks for letting us stay!
Good location! If you are a light sleeper it can get noisy from the street, not much they can do about that.
Great place. The location was extremely convenient and beat out the nearby hotel prices. More space for less money is always a win! I didn't really use anything other than the bed and the bathroom, but the kitchen looked well equipped.
Albert did a great job communicating instructions for check-in. It’s important to note that you have to go up a flight of stairs before reaching the elevator, so this can be difficult with a larger suitcase. Comfortable space, with a sound machine for any possible street noise. The building itself was very quiet and not heavily populated.
The location is great and you get a lot of space for the price, but we found 2 cockroachs during our stay and spent most of our time in the Airbnb worried about finding more and trying to resolve this issue with the hosts. They sent someone to remove the roach we caught and they did put pest traps out, but this affected our experience here greatly and I was disappointed that after everything, the hosts were only willing to refund us 7% of our booking fee. While they responded to our messages quickly, I felt like we weren’t taken seriously for being upset about what’s clearly a pest problem in the building.

The good: I was in for a conf. and wasn't there much. The location was great. Blocks from the Freedom Trail start, bars, restaurants etc. Big closet w/ hangers. Nice enough place. The Bad: There were smells. There was a weird tobacco ish smell that wasn't constantly noticeable but lingered . I brought this up to the host and they said they'd drop off air freshener/ fans (this never happened). The trash can smelled BAD even when there was nothing in it. There were two large roaches the 3rd day but I'd opened the screenless windows to air out so maybe my fault? I'm from TX so this didn't bother me much (I'd still give them 4/5 stars). I think this is common in major cities? They dropped off spray, which for a place with already lingering smells, isn't ideal. After I killed the two I never saw another. There were quite a few homeless ppl sleeping outside. I'm not saying this made me more or less safe, but as a solo woman traveler this did impact how I factored in coming/going at night

We stayed for 9 days in August. Pros: amazing host, very responsive with clear instruction. No issue with check-in or check-out. The unit was on the top floor and spacious enough for 2. Close to downtown and walkable to many local attractions. Cons: the place is not soundproof at all, and the noise level was unbearable at times. Homeless people on the street shouting all night. Plus construction going on right outside throughout the night as well. Overall, a decent stay but would have been much better if the place was more soundproof.
Wonderful stay. Yes, there’s street noise, but you can’t beat the price and location. Bring ear plugs :)

Great stay in Boston! The location was extremely convenient and walkable to so many areas and noise was not a problem. We walked to the waterfront, Quincy Market, the North End, Chinatown, Boston Commons, and public transit was also close and convenient.
Unbeatable price, location, quality. Super convenient to transit and downtown area, host was great with communicating check in and out — no cleaning required by guests which was great.
pros: super clean. comfy comfy bed and linens. very walkable and close to many train options cons: laundry is NOT in the unit. in the basement and you would have to pay. location makes it near impossible to park overnight with street sweeping, but we found some near in Chinatown. it is VERY loud until about 1am. this building is for commercial and not noise proof at all. property could add some sound absorbing curtains, a rug, or anything to make the bedroom more comfortable for sleeping.
Great location if you plan to walk most of the time. Only complaint is that is was a little loud at night but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Good stay, central location for walking. Apartment was clean, similar to a hotel. The windows face Arch St so you will hear city noise (honking, passing sirens, engines revving, etc). The stairs to second level with the elevator are steep and a bit narrow, elevator from second level was working fine during our stay. The bathroom is clean but worn in, it is separated from the bedroom which we didn’t mind.
The main problem was the lack of necessary items in the kitchen. There was no fry pan, kettle, or knifes that were remotely sharp. Very hard to make anything. If these simple things were added, it would have contributed to a much better stay. If you are planning on eating out all the time this place would be ideal for you.
We enjoyed staying at Albert's apartment. Location is just perfect - everything is either in a walking distance or can be reached by subway which is literally less than a minute away. There are a lot of nice restaurants and a supermarket in the vicinity. We came late at night, and were provided with very clear check-in instructions. Communication with Albert and Brian was smooth, we got responses to whatever questions we had very quickly. The apartment itself is very spacious! Has everything you need for a short (or a long) stay. Overall - a very pleasant experience.

For someone without a car, this was one of the most convenient places ever to stay. Everything was just a 10 minute walk away and it was a fantastic experience! I'd definitely suggest giving Quincy Market and Chinatown a visit, the bakeries and restaurants there are wonderful.

We liked staying at this property. Owner aas very responsive and helpful. Two issues: bathroom is far from bedroom, I felt little difficult because my husband was sick and another is that the elevator is available from level 2 onwards… we had lots of stuff so it was difficult to carry them to place. Overall super place within downtown.
We stayed in Albert’s place for 5 days and it was amazing! The apartment is beautiful and the location is great, you can walk everywhere and it’s really close to the subway stop. There were plenty of extra towels and linens. The bed was really comfortable. Only bummer was the windows really need to be cleaned, but not the end of the world as you’re usually out and about during the daylight hours anyway. Will definitely be staying here again.

We loved our time in Boston and this stay made it incredibly easy! The location is so close to a subway station with access to multiple lines, and it was also a quick and easy walk to get to some of the top spots in Boston. Our AirBnB was clean, well cared for, and easy to check-in/check-out. We loved the sky light in the main area and appreciated the little details (like enough hangers in the closet, a white noise machine, and dimming lights). Overall, it was a great place to stay and I’d recommend Albert’s AirBnB to other guests coming in!

This spot was perfect for my recent trip to Boston. Everything felt safe, secure and easy. The location is prime, right near Downtown Crossing, the Common, and Archie’s Deli, which makes the best breakfast sandwich of your life. Bed was very comfortable and the apartment is cozy. I will certainly be rebooking.
The hosts for this listing are excellent! Communication was almost instant! Extremely helpful with every question. And the location is outstanding! We could walk to almost anywhere with an incredible array of options for eating and shopping right in the neighborhood.

Issues, arrive for a six day visit with two bath towels?, with no on site services, come on. How about a box of tissues for guests? Hot water kettle, auto off doesn't work, could be dangerous. Advised to run the dishwasher when departing, it was broken, how were the cups and plates we used cleaned and sterilised? Yuck! Knife block, full of knives that don't cut. You can do better to equip your guests for a better stay.

Great location, just above Downtown Crossing T station. Grocery store and CVS just a few feet away. We stayed with our toddler for almost two weeks, and although we encountered some (avoidable) maintenance issues the housing team was always very responsive via text. Accessibility is a bit complicated (listing should be updated with better details) but it's always possible to ask 101 Arch St security team to be buzzed in, eg if you have a stroller, heavy bags, or wheelchair... Overall, it was a good solution for us, close to the metro, the park, groceries, although a bit pricey for all the maintenance issues we encountered.

Albert's apartment is like in the pictures. it is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The best thing of it is its location in Boston downtown. It’s close to all the sightseeing in the city. Walking distance to Boston Common Park, Water front, Old North, West End or Back Bay. There are two subway lines that take you anywhere right by the apartment. Thinks we didn’t appreciate were that the apartment is run by a company, so there is no local flavor or personal contact. Very efficient but rigid and cold like a bot. And another thing is that the elevator is in the second floor, which is not very convenient for the luggage and the stroller when traveling with small kids like we did.

Great location and space for a couple. We were pretty much in walking distance to everything we wanted to do & even if we needed an uber they were all generally less than $15. A slight inconvenience having to walk all through the building to get to the elevator every time as we did not want to walk up & down 5 flights of stairs. Also could have used an extra blanket but minor things! We enjoyed our stay & if we are ever in the Boston area again I will try to book again!
I was quite disappointed by this stay. I am a dedicated Airbnb patron, and this was my worst experience to date. Pros: The location is terrific, close to public transportation. The management team is gets back to you quickly, if not effectively. The apartment is clean. Cons: There are 29 steps to the first floor. If you have anything larger than a small carry-on, it's going to be difficult to get to the elevator. The building is charmless. The windows are filthy. One of the selling points for the listing was the washers and dryers in the building--none of which worked when we were there. The night we got in, we discovered that the garbage disposal did not work--and was leaking under the sink. Visible mold grew there. The management team was very polite, but failed to remedy the leak, the garbage disposal, or the broken washers during our six day stay.
Very good location and value for Boston. Just be a bit wary of the noise coming from outside but the host provides remedies for it.
Overall a solid stay, and I get that Boston is expensive, but not great value for the money spent imo. Building and apartment were quite old, didn’t really have any nice cutlery, glasses or anything for kitchen, dishwasher doesn’t really work, and they won’t let you check in until 5pm but check out is at 10am, which I found a bit annoying. Their communication was awesome though, location was the best in city, and the apartment was clean at least. Thanks again!

A truly fantastic location! Can easily access all of Boston by foot, uber, or the T. The space is perfect and as listed. Beautiful natural light during the day hat comes through the window/bubble on the roof. Full appliances as well! Great stay! Would visit and stay again! All my Boston friends remarked how lucky I was to have such a nice space where I was.

The place is nice. As far as I can tell, there is no Albert, just a group taking turns covering the hosting duties. It's five flights up. The fine print said the elevator was out and I missed that. My bad. There's no room in the bathroom to hang a towel and no shelf. The shower is lukewarm. Bed is comfortable, as is the couch. Nice location.

we loved alberts place, he was quick to respond to any questions we had, the place was cute and quiet and easy to keep warm. Location was surely 10/10 if we ever left the apartment 😂. Once that elevator gets fixed would for sure recommend and book this again
Looks just like the pictures, very clean, and great location! Company was very responsive to questions. Downside was the elevator not being functional even though we were told we could use it the morning of check in. The apartment was on the 5th floor so this was difficult with luggage.

Great place to stay in an awesome location at a super reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. The only downside was that the elevator seemed to be out of service, so walking up 5 flights of stairs with bags was tiring.
Alberts place was super cozy and it’s in a great location, easy access to the best areas of Boston - which was easy to walk around. Happy to stay there again.

Really enjoyed the airbnb and the location. Kitchen was not as fully equipped as we had hoped, and the TV wasn’t functioning properly. If we hadn’t brought our own laptop, we most likely wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the TV at all. Please fix the streaming device for the next customer as it was frustrating. Overall 9/10.
The was in a prime location, easy to walk around from place to place and in the winter just a quick Uber to places too if you prefer. My only big complaint was the elevator wasn’t working, so for the money we spent on the Airbnb the 5 floor walk up did not seem worth the price we paid. Also weirdly no shelf or anything in the shower so had to put our bar of soap on the tile floor. Great water pressure though!! I always love that. Other than that very comfortable bed, nice functional kitchen, comfy couch, felt safe in my location, and easy checkin/checkout process.

Great little apartment in a central location that allows you to wander around and explore the city at you leisure. The elevator was a bit tricky to find but after lugging bags up 5 flights of stairs, we made sure to find it for our next adventures. Noise wasn’t a problem at all, we didn’t even need the noise machine that was provided

super cute and cozy place with a great shower. love the decor and the bed was so comfortable. the elevator is super hard to find and you can pretty much only get to it during business hours so don’t book if you have trouble with stairs but otherwise it’s perfect.

Perfect location in downtown Boston! Walk to anywhere you need, or take one of the many trains in walking distance! We loved our stay here. The apartment looked just as it did in the pictures, and it had everything we could have needed! Great for the traveler that wants the cozy feel of a home on their vacation. 10/10 would stay here again!

Albert’s place was great! It was clean, spacious, and is at a great location! Only a few minutes walk to a subway station, and there is a grocery store nearby. Lots of food options around. The inside was newly renovated and well furnished. Albert and his team responded very quickly to all questions and provided details instructions. Would definitely stay here again if we come back in the future!

Albert’s place was awesome! Location perfect, right downtown. Everything is close by. The subway system is just a 2 min walk. The apartment itself was very clean and the just as pictured. Loved my stay at albert’s! Thank you!
Absolutely perfect location if you’re visiting Boston proper. Everything is very walkable and T stops are less than a block away. Check in couldn’t have been easier and communication is top notch. Highly recommend!
The unit is extremely clean, was a great place to stay! The wifi was really bad so we weren’t able to watch movies on the TV, but for a place to stay while touring the city it was great. Wifi worked fine on phones. As mentioned in other reviews the elevator is up the first two flights of stairs, then you have to open the door on the left to the second floor units and walk all the way down that hallway and it’s there!

Great location to see all of Boston! There is a great fully stocked grocery store within 5min and we were able to use the subway system or walk almost anywhere we wanted to go. Flat is as advertised with a very comfortable queen bed, adequate tv system, and very good a/c system which was appreciated since it was very hot and humid during our stay. Would definitely stay again next time in Boston. Thx
Albert's space is in a great location- just steps to commons, wharf, and public transportation. space is clean, easy check-in, very comfortable bed. only real drawback is the noise level which is to be expected in such a central spot however it's very loud almost sounds like the window is open. not a deal breaker but definitely not a good place if you are a light sleeper!

Location was prime and Airbnb overall clean, but I recommend cleaning up the walls a bit & the stained seating areas- it gave a hint of dinginess to the place. The second floor where the elevator is smelled so bad. We recommend accessing the location from where the spiral staircase & lobby is when it’s open- it’s a lot nicer! The bathroom door didn’t lock, but it was just my bf & I so it didn’t really matter. We appreciated how convenient the location was. Access to the Orange line is in the lobby or just a 2 minute walk.
I booked this room really last second on 4th of July weekend for pretty cheap and ended up loving is here. The apartment is very clean and decorated nicely. I’d definitely recommend booking here especially for the location. This place is a block away from the red line which takes you through most of Boston. I’ll definitely come back one day
Great stay. Super clean, super nice place. Really great location, only a few minutes walk from places like Faneuil Hall, the Public Market, Boston Commons, and the waterfront. Instructions from host were super clear, and communication was fast and easy. Definitely recommend.
Great location that is close to everything
This unit is in a GREAT location!!! Downtown Crossing subway stop is a three minute walk, and Roche Brothers is right there for groceries and has an amazing cold and hot bar for fresh food prepared for you. The TV is HUGE and has Netflix, etc. Windows open for fresh air and air conditioning works well if warm outside. Appliances are clean, seem new, and work great. Washer and dryer are in the basement, not in the unit. Bed is super comfortable with clean white linens. The hallways in this building are a bit worn and not as clean as the unit itself; the unit however is clean and tastefully decorated. Finding the elevator is initially a challenge and the directions they sent us weren’t entirely accurate. These directions are more accurate so hopefully this helps if you stay here: upon entry climb staircase to the second floor. Enter the door to the units on the 2nd floor and follow the hallway. There is a right turn, a left turn, and then you’ll reach the end of the hallway where you’ll find the elevator. Once on the fifth floor follow the hallway back to the unit. Overall this is a comfortable unit in an AWESOME location.

This is a hidden gem, especially for anyone in Boston without a car. The location is ideal for access to public transportation (including from Logan airport), major sights such as the Freedom Trail, shopping & places to eat. The apartment is cozy but easily big enough to accommodate 2 people without getting in each other's way.

Apartment is conveniently located in Boston and within walking distance to popular areas. It’s a good airbnb for a weekend. Elevator is tricky to find but otherwise not bad for a quick trip.
Very clean、looks just like the pictures. Has a good amount of natural light in the place especially with the skylight. the host responds pretty fast for any issues or questions.

it is an amazing space, you do have to go up 5 flights of stairs with your suitcase though, there is no elevator. The place was beautiful and had a skylight that brighten the place up everymorning. They are also very accommodating, the unit we were in had no air mattress and we needed one so they gave us a whole bother unit for my guest to sleep in. They are an amazing staff and really take care of you! The location was great, its right next to the subway.

Wish there were more kitchen supplies, tv was difficult to get going! Beware no cable. Elevator was a little creepy it’s extremely tiny. Bathroom had some long black hairs.

well appointed ,spacious and modern apartment , with lots of light and plenty of storage. Quite building located in the center of Boston, near 3 subway lines, Amtrak south station with quick access to airport.
Good apartment and convenient area
There was an issue with broken appliance in the first apartment, but Albert and his team were very quick and kind to place me in another apartment and take care of the problem! The building is quiet, in a convenient location downtown, and very stylish within the apartments. Finding the elevator was a little confusing, but their team is quick to respond if you ever need help! Thanks for the great stay
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
