The apartment was a great set up for 2 couples. Very clean and lots of tv options. Walking distance to shopping, restaurant and coffee shops. Close to Quincy market. It does have steps to get into the building and to the elevators. Owner was very responsive to all of our questions. Would definitely rent this unit again.

The location couldn’t be better- so convenient to everything downtown. The place was very spacious and safe and it was super nice to have 2 bathrooms; however, the beds, pillows, linens, etc. were all in poor condition. The beds/mattresses were extremely creaky and worn and sheets were dingy and yellowed and tiny, thin towels. Floors and furniture were peeling and broken. I certainly wouldn’t call it luxury as the description states, but overall worked out well enough for our group. The location is excellent but be aware it is VERY loud at all hours.

The unit is in a very convenient location in regards to using the subway and walking to various tourist destinations. However, for safety it was not the best location. The 711 right next to the building always had homeless people around which is fine as they did not bother us but all night they were yelling. They did provide us ear plugs and sound machines but it was still very loud. There was also construction going on at night. There were multiple times when a homeless person was in front of the door and we had to ask them to move so we could get inside. As a woman, I did not feel safe and wouldn’t recommend this place for girls trips. The unit inside was fine and had everything we needed for our stay. Also this unit is on the 5th floor but you have to take two flights of stairs to get to the elevator.
Great unit. exactly as described. Noise warnings were given and it was the noisiest place I have probably ever stayed. We were there 2 nights and the convenience of the location to train station and touring was worth the noise. I see that they will give you a sound machine or earplugs- I would recommend you take advantage of that in your booking. The room with windows on only 1 wall did seem quieter.
Overall - great place to stay in Boston. It close to city centre and comfortable enough to stay several nights. But - there was pretty loudy outside at night as well as homeless guys hung around 7/11 at the corner and yelling half of the night.
As many others have stated, the location is great especially as a first time visit to Boston. It is a bit bare bones and not the most comfortable if you want to spend time together in the shared space. The apartment feels a bit worn down and the beds are not the most comfortable but it gets the job done.

For the money this place is hard to beat. The unit itself is very large, clean, and well maintained. The location is very central and it is easy to walk to most things and take transit to the rest. I would definitely stay here again. The only disclaimer I have is we were hassled by people in the street every day right outside of the entrance. However I think it is worth that for the location, and with this host proceeds go to a good cause.
The stay was good. The place is clean and tidy with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Nice and spacious too. The beds are comfortable and so is the couch in the main living area. The kitchen is well equipped. The only issue are the people in the neighbourhood, each night there was screaming at 2am from people out on the street. There was also a lot of homeless people who would stand right outside the entrance to the building with literal needles in hand.

Good central location. Apartment was a good size. One of the beds was not cleaned, they did their best to remedy but still disappointing. Mattresses were very springy and loud, couch was uncomfortable. Would have been nice to at least have some coffee for the guests to make a brew. Overall we would look elsewhere next time but the stay was OK. Very, very loud beginning around 5 am on each weekday. Perhaps it was a temporary construction thing - but it was loud and the windows were paper thin.
Nice place and very clean. You have full equipped kitchen for few days. Very well located. This is downtown, so obviously you will have some expected noise outside. However, no neighbors so it was a quiet apartment! Good experience overall.

The building is noisy, but Healing Homes does everything they can to mitigate this with providing white noise machines and ear plugs. We had a great stay, have stayed with them before, and will stay with them again.

The location was near almost everything you could possibly want from a CVS to a Tjmaxx for the supplies you needed in town as well as touristy areas. For instance, we walked to the Boston Common which took about 15 mins, stopped at Tattes for their honey halva coffee, went on to visit Newbury street and the Boston public library all in the same day. The walls are scratched up and need a new coat of paint but the apartment is clean. They do provide you with shampoo, towels, and other toiletries but I’m sad to say that they do not provide complimentary coffee although they do have a coffee maker. We had a wonderful stay here and if ever we’re in Boston again, we’ll want to stay here!
The place is so lovely and cozy with al utilities you need in the kitchen. The location is amazing as it walking distance to so many places, especially to Chinatown for great food. The property is surrounded with many restaurants, Macy's and convenient stores. The team is responsive, helpful and always ready when you need help. The laundry is in the basement with clear instruction to use the machine and detergent is ready to use.

We had a very comfortable stay - excellent walkable location! Very quiet building. One warning though - you have to walk up one long flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Tricky with a stroller and would be tough for anyone with mobility difficulties. Would stay again if in town!
Beware: This location DOES NOT INCLUDE HOT WATER! The day of arrival our host messaged us to tell us that there was not hot water. We immediately called AirBnb and they told us that since the hot water was not listed as an amenity it wasn’t included. I argued with them that it’s the law to provide hot water. We gave them 24 hours to provide hot water but left the second day because we were unable to bath or wash items without hot water. The host refused to refund us our money so Airbnb refunded the unused nights but only 30% of the noisy single night we spent there without the ability to shower due to no hot water in the cold Boston weather! Airbnb refunded us based on their aircover policy, however this did NOT include our taxes/fees and the cleaning fee, which totaled almost $700 that we ended up paying for a SINGLE NIGHT in a mediocre apartment with NO HOT WATER and VERY noisy street noise. I recommend you get a hotel and avoid losing so much money like unfortunately did.

It was a fine place but I really feel like it was overpriced for what it is. It is such bare bones, barely no art, walls need to be repainted, bathroom needs a refresh. Also a check in at 5pm is way too late. Even hotels say 3 or 4pm. Also the neighborhood felt extremely unsafe. There was no one on the streets at night except homeless people who were doing drugs. The beds were comfy and the place was clean but honestly, that's the bare minimum. It was fine.

Overall this is a great location and the unit is good! If you're trying to do a lot of the Boston things like the Freedom Trail, Quincy Market, Seaport, Fenway, etc., it's all easy to get to - even by walking. Even better, it's near stores like CVS and such in case you forgot anything needed for your trip. I will say "Luxury at a discount" is fairly misleading. It's really not a bad unit, but we went in thinking we'd have essentially a home away from home. I'd say this is more of a low budget unit similar to staying at a low cost hotel. Definitely needs a repaint, couch is cheap/worn out, and the walls are just very bare. All in all I think this is a good unit (and I would stay here again) but really should be priced similar to a lower cost hotel in the area. If this is the same or cheaper than an Embassy Suites hotel, you should stay here! If you can save staying at a hotel, I'd maybe prefer the hotel. Hope this helps for the next person planning their trip to Boston!

The overall stay was nice and was in a convenient location. I was under the impression I was staying in an upscale downtown apartment as listed in the description but the apartment needed some cosmetic work on the inside. The apartment we stayed in is used for families staying in the city for medical reasons and a portion of the fee is donated to that cause which made me feel a little better about what I paid.
Location and convenience is what I pay to stay here, and Albert's place provide that very well. This is the heart of downtown so do expect some noise and drunk people around.
We had early check in at 2pm check in which I paid a 50.00 fee per the request. We were coming from Martha’s Vineyard n had a lot of stuff with us. when we got to the unit, the cleaning lady was there n our room wasn’t ready. I tried messaging Albert thru Airbnb app but he didn’t respond so I called him n told himof the situation, he responded n said he only communicates through Airbnb n hung up on me. A little while later, I got a response saying there was a miscommunication n they’ll refund my early check in fee. We were left not knowing what to do as we had scheduled n moved a few things around on our agenda. While waiting we had all of our stuff n sat outside of the place with nothing to do for 2 hours! I even ended up helping the cleaning lady vacuum/sweep the floor n gatherd dirty towels to her cart to try nspeed the process. There were homeless people right next to the keypad lock n they were arguing, one person was even shooting up something to her arm on the steps.

The location is ideal! Everything is within walking distance or a quick T ride away, as the Downtown Crossing station is right around the corner. The beds were comfortable and the showers were fantastic! The walls need repainted, but it was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.
Albert’s place was central to most of Boston’s tourist areas. The space matched the pictures. However, this place is not a luxury. The building stairwell to the apartment itself is a bit rundown with minor issues. The closed-door frame in MBR was coming off the wall, the paint was old and scuffed up, budget furniture, small tv with wires dangling. However, it was comfortable and you can’t beat the location. There is homeless people on the front of the street, however it was a non-issue for us as that is part of big city problems and not with Alber’s place specifically. We did have a major issue where AC broke and could not be fixed on the first day. They were able to relocate us to a different unti late on the 2nd day, and the new unit we got was an upgrade with no additional charges. Relocation was not intial response until ABB got involved and offered to relocate us. Spent way too much time dealing with this issue on my vacation, but still have a great time in Boston.
Great stay, albeit on a noisy street. Apartment was clean and comfortable with lots of dishes, utensils, and blankets. Would benefit from a couple of umbrellas as we were caught in an unpredictable rain for most of our stay. Good value overall!

The noise was crazy. Homeless people were singing below the building at 5 am and there was a fight at 2 am.
The location was great! A lot to do and see in that area! The place was fine. It was clean and easy to find. There was a parking garage nearby that we reserved a spot with park hero. I wouldn't name it luxury at a discount as the place just looks like any normal person's home. There was no air conditioning, that was the only actual negative thing about the stay. I would consider staying again if the air conditioner worked.

This was my first time visiting Boston and I really enjoyed myself. The location of the Airbnb was very close to everything in the city. My group and I were able to walk and Uber around because the location was perfect! The host was very helpful and answered all my questions. We were able to try several restaurants in the area and walk to the nearby parks and bars. Thank you for an amazing stay!! Just be mindful when going in the area at night because there are several homeless people on the streets. We didn’t have any issues, but it’s good to be aware of your surroundings when in a new area. Enjoy!!!

Great place to stay! It's right next to Chinatown, so we could easily walk to amazing restaurants. It also is within walking distance of the BCEC and South Station. Hosts are professional, courteous, and responsive, and all instructions and rules were very clear. All in all, this apartment was perfect for our needs!
This is by no means a luxury rental. The kitchen is newer but dishes were dirty in the cabinets, walls are heavily marked up and dented, cheapest furniture possible- the bed squeaks with every move, the bathroom sink cabinets have open walls to wiring in the back, in the shower water splashes, one small tv in living area and its not a very usable space. The elevator did stop working for a few days, but it isn't their fault, however still is rough when on the 5th floor with luggage. One big issue is I was told that they would wash the linens without scented detergents since I have bad allergy/asthma issues with it, however they did not. Just from touching a towel or a sheet my hand reeked of scents. If they would have just said no, I would have brought all my own so this was really frustrating and I had issues the whole trip. Also if you're not used to city noises, you won't sleep.

Location is great. Layout is a little funky. The laundry area in the basement is filthy. One toilet didn’t work at all, the other required multiple flushes, like 3-4. Plumber came, but couldn’t fix the one without a part, and frankly it didn’t seem like a priority. Lastly the cookware was so beat up it couldn’t sit flush on the cooktop, so we bought a frying pan, and kitchen knife. The floors were dirty. We had to buy Mr Clean and sponges. They had 3 plastic cup, 3 wine glasses, and a small pint glass….. they sent some more plastic cups over, then some weird little glasses but that was our last day. Kinda rough all around. Second property from this group we stayed in that had plumbing problems they didn’t fix during our stay.

Beware of some deceptive pricing practices. The cleaning fee is exorbitant and the check-in times are constrained to encourage customers to pay a late/early check-in fee. Meanwhile, it's a touch-free check-in with a passcode. Aside from those issues, the place is great. Just pay attention to the fine print.
We enjoyed our stay at Albert’s apartment in the heart of Boston. We were in walking distance of every where in the city we visited and a short Uber ride to Fenway Park. Albert’s home will be at the top of our list the next time we visit.

We stayed for few nights 2 kids and 2 adults plenty room for everyone, I can't add a lot to previous reviews and descriptions . We got what we expected, the apartment it self needs some fresh paint but other than that, everything was good, location is great, no noise from neighbors , only from the street but we knew that , communications with host was great, instructions fo check-in&out is clear and simple. If the question is: you'll stay here again? answer is : definitely !
I must say this was a very clean and spacious air BNB. It made our stay so much better and it is also kid friendly! We walked in and we had paper towels, soap, some detergent pods and dishwasher pods already stocked for us. The silverware, dish and pots were diverse and very clean so you could absolutely cook in there with the utensils provided . We didn’t have many towels initially, however all you have to do is ask and they bring more, which never was done before in an air bnb. Usually they give you a lot and you are expected to clean them, but they were kind enough to take my old ones and bring me fresh ones upon request each day. The laundry room was a slight challenge but it wasn’t the owners fault, it’s the buildings, but all you have to do is scan the QR code to use it which I figured out after I had to call the number on the washer. The credit card machine didn’t work and at first we were upset but our issue was resolved once I called the company. Make sure you have cell phone service if not you can’t access the mobile app. Overall it was an amazing location right next to so many great stores like Macys and Primark, and eateries like five guys, cafe Nero for breakfast and other local restaurants. Also it is right across the street from convenience stores like CVS and 7/11 was on our corner, so all your needs can be met right outside your door. Parking also was a short minute walk to another complex, which was great because there is literally no parking around Boston so if you are bringing your car, so definitely get a spot with them even if it’s a walk. It’s so easy just cut through the corner underground food court and it’s right outside that door. The owners were very nice, solved my minor issues, and they were so accommodating. It’s hard to find people who care about those who stay in their homes. I appreciate Brian, Albert and their entire team. Thank you all!

You really can't beat this location, so close to the Common, the Freedom Trail and everything. The apartment was nice, fairly basic and comfortable. What really impressed me was how incredibly responsive the owner was about communication and getting us what we needed. Would recommend.

Albert’s condo is perfectly located near the theater district, with the orange line subway just below the Bldg and the red line a mile walk away. We did not rent a car in Boston. We were able to see the entire city of downtown Boston, Back Bay, Freedom Trail, Harvard, MIT, Cambridge, via walking and the subway (under $5 round trip or you can buy passes). CVS, 7-11, a cafe, Macys, are all at your footsteps The two bedrooms have queen sized beds and one room has a shower and bathroom and the other bedroom has use of a second full shower/tub/bathroom. The living/dining area is comfortable There is a coffee maker, but the host does not provide coffee so you’ll want to buy ground coffee at cvs or grab coffee from the shops below the Bldg. There are washers and driers in the basement that charge $5 per cycle each and you need to bring your own tide pods from cvs There are no condiments or edible items of any kind in the kitchen. You’re getting a furnished apartment, but no spices or oils or anything edible or to be used for cooking. Water comes from the tap, there are no complimentary items provided for personal consumption. For a family, or four adults, it’s a perfect space, and having two bathrooms is very convenient. Just be sure to stock it yourself, if you’re wanting to use the kitchen for personal meals. We would stay here again. The beds were very comfortable. We were on the 5th floor, and while it was downtown, we never heard any noise while sleeping. The master bedroom does not have ac but it has a big fan, and it provides a nice white noise. The second bedroom has a.c and the beds are very comfortable. I can’t imagine that there is a better place that has both a great comfortable interior as well as perfect walkable location - so overall, this is a really great place to stay if you are visiting downtown Boston.

This Airbnb is located in the heart of Boston, and the great thing is that it’s minutes away from all the key spots to visit. The apartment was clean, stocked with towels, dishes and everything you would need. Albert and his team kept communication open and constant with us, which we appreciated.
Apartment was in a great location for exploring the city. It was exactly as advertised/as described by previous reviewers -so the entrance was a bit convoluted and tricky to navigate with a pram/stroller (we knew this was the case when we booked). It is also run by a corporate so not as homely as other places we have stayed but, again, this accorded with our expectations based on other comments. We saw some reviews commenting on street noise-we were aware of it at some points, but didn’t find it intrusive or disturbing. Great communication from the hosts and we would definitely stay again when our son is out of his stroller.

Navigating through the building may be confusing, but the host gives detailed information to minimize this. The host is also very quick and helpful in responding. Definitely would recommend and will look forward to a future stay here!

The title of luxury is a little misleading although if you consider the location being a luxury then this place is for you! Albert’s place is clean and has basic essentials. Lucky for us, the elevator was in operation. Previous reviews said the elevator was out of service.) Once you explore how to get out on the first floor in the office complex it makes it so much easier to come in and out of the building. The CVS across the street is very convenient. There is a great coffee shop and grocery store right around the corner. We were two couples staying in Albert’s place together. We compared the price of booking two hotel rooms to the price of Albert’s place and Albert’s was considerably less expensive. There is street noise at night. I would say out of 4 nights, 2 we’re pretty bad. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Make sure the elevator works before you book. Everything else was great. The location is truly within walking distance of everything you would want and excellent restaurants.

This apartment was very cute and the perfect location to see the city. Most places were walkable and the subway entrance was very close by. The apartment was also a good value--my friends and I did think it was a bit pricey when we first booked it but when you arrive you'll see that it's a good price because of location and amenities. There were only a couple of issues like the elevator didn't work so my friends and I had to lug our carry-ons up 5 flights of stairs. Getting up those stairs at the end of the day was a feat too. There was also a few issues with the entry code to the building. They had to reset the code which was easy enough but there were a few minutes that we were locked outside until someone could open the door. Doesn't sound too bad but a couple of minutes in 15 degree weather was a bit uncomfortable. The kitchen also was great but could have benefitted with more pots/pans and seasonings if guest prefer to cook than to buy. Overall, great place to stay and much more preferable than a hotel because of the amenities available in my opinion.
Location is great- elevator was broken, apartment is on the fifth floor. The hallways were quite loud with construction- it would have been nice to have some coffee filters in the unit. If you don’t plan on spending spending much time in the apartment, the location is good and you’re right in the heart of downtown.
Clean and nice location
A very nice and amazingly spacious apartment! Super clean in an excellent location. We parked at Post Office Square, a short 5-minute walk. $18 for Saturday and Sunday. We will stay here again.
The unit was beautiful and in a great location. Wish we had known that they elevator was broken until March, going up five flights of stairs will knock the breath out of you for sure and isn’t very accessible. Overall clean, there were a few things however on the floor like a crumpled up contact lens (which none of us use) and a q-tip next to the bed (no one brought q-tips). The hosts were always prompt and helpful in their communications for us!

A very nice and clean top floor apartment in a wonderful location. Everything is in walking distance. We especially liked the view of the church across the street and the 7-11 right down stairs. We were very happy with our stay and will hopefully come back again!

The location was great. Close to Boston Commons, The Corners, and a half mile from Faneuil Hall. Figuring the elevator was a little challenging but overall a good stay. I would stay again.

This location is in ideal walking distance to plenty of food and tourist options in the heart of Boston. The apartment was spacious and clean. The host gave clear instructions on how to check in and check out which made our experience overall fairly easy. However, the beds were not very comfortable and one appeared to have a broken frame of some sorts. The term luxury in the listing is a bit misleading, it’s a nice apartment but luxury would be a bit far fetched.
The listing for this property describes it as "Luxury at a Discount." Unless a person was previously homeless, there is nothing "luxurious" about the property. The listing also boasts of 200 mbps internet - maybe it wasn't working properly when we were there, but the TV was constantly buffering. The best part of this stay was the location; it's close to the Freedom Trail. The most frustrating part of this stay had to do with recovering the damage deposit we had to pay up front. Although we were never alleged to have damaged anything (and did not damage anything - pre and post videos to prove same if challenged), I really don't believe we would have received the deposit refund, unless we stayed on top of both Healing Homes and VRBO. After the stay, Healing Homes just ignored my emails. When I called VRBO to ask for assistance, I received the same answer (we will call them and have them return it.....). Until I finally reached a responsive VRBO rep who actually followed up, nothing was happening. All that said, Boston is an awesome, beautiful city, full of friendly people, and highly recommended!!!
Great location. Beds could use an upgrade. They made noises every time you moved and mattress not comfortable. Never enough towels ... 1 set given per quest for 4 days. And doing laundry is inconvenient. Whole place could use a paint job and hallways could use a good cleaning!!
The check-in is a bit tricky if you want to access the lift. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and very quiet at night. The living room is small and not quite right for a two-bedroom. It’s a perfect option if you’re looking for a high quality place to sleep, but less if you’re planning to spend cozy evenings in. However it worked great for us.
Apartment was perfect for us. Location was great. Near so many sights, restaurants, and a grocery store. Very walkable area with bikes, bus, and subway station steps away. Apartment was very spacious with comfortable beds. Keypad entry worked great. I love the self checkin option since we arrived late! Would definitely stay here again.

This is a well appointed apartment in an extremely convenient area of downtown. The building has many security features and an elevator and wheelchair accessible access to the elevator. Albert was very prompt and easy to communicate with and was very helpful with anything we needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

This is a really good price for the location and the fact that it's two bedroom and bathroom. The communication and check-in/out process was very easy. My only disappointment was the overall upkeep of the apartment - while contact areas like counters and toilet/showers were clean, the place could use more regular thorough cleaning like the walls, rug, etc. and the beds were broken so they dipped a bit in the center.
Clean unit with two queen beds and couch is a futon. You need to walk up stairs to Elevator on 2nd floor.
This apartment was wonderful - conveniently located near the Park St. T stop and Boston Common. Having 2 bathrooms was a huge plus and the space itself was extremely clean and modern. The A/C and wifi were both very strong. After spending long days going all around the city, we were spoiled being able to come home to this space. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for an excellent place to stay in the greater Boston area!

You can't beat the location. it's a great place with a very communicative host. we did have a slight hiccup in the beginning where the cleaning people had not gotten to our place by the time we checked in. as soon as we informed the host they were solving the issue. the cleaning people came within 15 minutes. They also refunded the cleaning fee for the mishap without us having to ask.. The rest of the stay had no issues and we would love to stay here again.

Great location central to Boston’s main attractions such as Boston Common and the freedom trail! Instructions are well described and once you figure out the multiple entrances, it’s super convenient! Close to stores and restaurants. It’s a nice place to call home base when visiting Boston!
Albert’s place is great! Good location, and good value for downtown Boston. I would definitely stay again. You can hear Street noise, you are right in the middle of the city, so if that is something that bothers you this might not be the place for you.
Nice place near downtown crossing. Building not recommended for those with difficulty climbing a flight of stairs (elevators are up a set of stairs). Check in was simple.
Visited Boston for the first time with some friends from college and Albert’s place fit 5 very comfortably. The unit was clean and in a great location as well; would stay again.

This apartment was overall very good with the location unbeatable right in the center of Boston. Having 2 bedrooms/ 2 baths was also great for us. This was a great base to explore and learn so much about Boston!

Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
