Perfect location, very close to main subway stations therefore convenient to go to anywhere in Boston. However, some people do drugs next to the building. They themselves don’t really pose any threat to other passers-by, but I might not recommend it to those with kids.
The room itself was just like the photos and it was very clean and a nice space. Unfortunately the area was heavily populated with homeless people and they were sitting in front of the entry way refusing to move when we would come back to get inside. One of the nights there was people directly next to the door doing drugs and left used needles on the street so we were unable to walk our dog and ended up ubering to take her to a walk in another area. Unfortunate but made the stay very stressful and unpleasant as we did not know what we were coming back to at the entry way when we would return.
Good location. Walking distance to seaport , beacon hill, and north end of Boston. Place was clean, however, did lack some supplies (eg., not enough towels, no cleaning supplies aside from dish detergent). Instructions to enter the unit were slightly unclear. Would stay here again though !
Worked for what we needed. Quick weekend in the city with a pet.
we stayed here a few nights, the place is really great for 2 people. our only issue was the people directly outside the building were a little a suspicious but we didn’t personally have any negative experiences with them but the police were around outside a few times during our stay…overall though great location and the place itself was great!
Healing homes was in a convenient location. Looked like the pictures. Clean. Only downside was entering the building at 10:30/11pm at night, drug addicts hang basically right next to the door doing drugs. If you can with stand then book but if you can’t or have children I’d suggest not. But again it’s a convenient location near shops, food, coffee, and historical places. Walkable. Worth the money.
Overall the building was safe and convenient and perfect for his stay: It was mentioned in the listing about the homelessness nearby. there was a point when my husband was confronted by someone outside. He just kept walking but was a bit nervous.
Very good location
Enjoyed the stay. Exactly what I needed.
We arrived from New York by train and were pleasantly surprised to see that the apartment was less than a 5 minute walk away from the train station. In addition, it was conveniently located to all other historical sites and other landmarks! It was easy to access and had all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable.
Good listing and a clean apartment. There were some scratches and dents in the wall, but nothing major or of concern. The only downside was the location, happened to be in the one street in the area where there were some interesting characters. Got shouted at walking back once, and when we were walking to the area for the first time there was someone using some illicit drugs, but nothing to the owner's fault. Would recommend.
A great, very welcoming and friendly place!
Our host was very responsive, and our stay was perfect for the couple days we were in Boston. definitely worth the price for a quick stay over!
Great place! Great location! Walked everywhere. The metro is around the block. The apartment was clean and looked like the pictures. Perhaps a recommendation to the host ( include more pans/pots maybe some basic condiments like salt and pepper) it was s pleasant stay, surprisingly quiet definitely a big plus. Definitely would stay again!
very good location, very walkable, and lots to do and eat around the apartment.
This was a great apartment in downtown Boston and close to everything. The apartment was really well equipped for your stay. Communications were good and it was easy to check-in. it's only a quick 5 minutes walk from South Station and right next to a metro line.
I just love the location and the entire environment and reception I had during my stay. I will love to stay in there anytime am in that area.
very convenient for my work travel. would definitely stay again.
The location was perfect for our trip, close to the T and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The area can be pretty sketchy at night, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here alone and coming back at night. We didn’t have heat for the first two days. We reached out to the host and they were able to provide us with space heaters, but we noticed that these would trip the breaker if both were plugged in at the same time. Also, numerous outlets around the unit didn’t provide any power. There seemed to be some inconsistencies in communication between their staff, as we were told someone from maintenance would visit Sunday afternoon, no one arrived in the afternoon and we were not informed until I asked. When we were back at the unit in the evening, much later than the agreed upon time, someone from maintenance let themselves in to check the AC without knocking. We could have been changing or sleeping. Ultimately, we enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t likely stay here again.
This stay is right in the middle of downtown and that's exactly what I wanted. As written in the listing, it was a little noisy however, that is what I asked for! Because of this, I was a 5 minute walk away from the WNDR museum, 20 minute walk away from the conference center, and there were 5 different coffee shops around me and I visited a different one everyday! It was awesome!
Great location next to public transportation. Even though it is located downtown, it wasn't noisy at all. The place was small but was sufficient for someone like me who just needed a place to stay for a few days for work. Could fit up to 2 people, but it might get a bit tight. Bathroom was small but clean. Will certainly stay again if I need to stay in the city.
Great place. Great location and very clear communication!
I stayed here for nearly a month! It was a PERFECT downtown location, super close to all public transit. A few homeless would hang out near the 7/11 just ouside the building, but they never bothered me. Super cozy, clean, modern interior. I would easily stay here again!
Great place to stay! The location is super convenient and so anyone who wants to explore Boston Common/Public Park and downtown area will find this place a great deal!
Great, responsive team. The area is not the safest at night, but overall great location. Near everything!
Great place, nicely presented. I had a late check in and street was unsafe if alone.
This was our second time staying with healing homes (second location) and each time has been easy, in great proximity to shops, restaurants, and things to do! Very clean. It felt a little chilly and you aren’t able to adjust the heat but that would be our only “gripe” about this location. Right outside of the windows was another building so although you don’t get a view, you do get a MUCH quieter atmosphere and don’t have to worry about the street noise waking you up. (A huge plus) would definitely recommend and stay again.
The apartment was great. It was very clean and looked like the pictures. I would recommend to someone staying in the area.
Everything about this location was PERFECT. Including the building/apartment itself (aside from the homeless population which lingered around outside). However, with that being said, we had absolutely no issues and Albert made us aware of that in the listing as well. Plus, we quickly realized that the homeless population were everywhere downtown but there was such a huge police/public presence as well so we had no problems. I would not let that cloud judgement on this space! It was in the most perfect location. Close to transit, restaurants, shops, etc. Albert was super helpful and Provided excellent instructions as well as additional details to help make our experience the best!!
Super clean and walkable, looking forward to staying here again next time I’m in town. At night the room is nice and dark and the street noise is really not bad at all.
A very clean space, which is always reassuring. Wifi worked great. Walkable for Starbucks/Dunkin.
Located in central Boston tourist area. Homeless near entrance, but no problems. We bought breakfast take out at Wendy’s with extra to share with several. I read other reviews and knew about in advance. It was expensive, but what isn’t in Boston?
This is downtown. Quiet street but don’t want to be coming in late. Very clean and comfortable. No coffee in unit so bring your own!
A comfortable and well located place to stay in Boston. Excellent communication and access.
Great location and great apartment. The management team were also super responsive when we had a couple of queries (how to turn on dishwasher etc.).
Super easy check in and out instructions. The place was in the perfect location for walking everywhere in the city.
The apartment was clean, safe, quiet, and in assessable location. Close to T (Orange, Red,Green) grocery store, walking distance to Common and water front. Would recommend and book again.
The place was nice! It was as promised a simple nice little apartment. Good location and walking distance from everything. When we came to check in the keypad was dead so we had to wait for someone to come let us in which happens but the host refused to offer any sort of compensation even though we just wanted to relax after a long travel day. Also the details of how to get in the building off the street were deceiving. Us and like 4 other people were all trying to check in but the instructions were so bad that we all had to message the host. All things considered I’d probably just stay at a hotel next time, but not a bad place at all.
Everything was great!
Cute little stay, was easy to walk to most of the Downtown Boston sites. Great district! No parking available, and parking is expensive, so would recommend no rental car, just Uber or take public transit from this location, everything is easily accessible!
About 1/2 mile from subway lines. Pretty easy to get to. There is a grocery store right around the corner to pick up some food if you want to eat at the Airbnb. Lots of places to grab a cup of ☕, lunch, or dinner.
Great place and location
my boyfriend and I had stayed at Albert’s listing in downtown for a night after a concert. this listing is a rare gem!!! the unit itself is small and cozy, but it was the perfect size for two of us. there is a thermostat for you to control the ac (or heat), multiple wifi networks that you can access, and a comfy bed! the unit has minimal natural lighting which we did not mind. there were even utensils, as well as a dishwasher and sponge with soap, to use for any food you bring back! there are also extra pillows and linens in the hallway closet. if we are ever visiting the city, we will most definitely stay with albert again!
Overall, it was a great stay. I came for a work conference which was at Seaport. It was a 5 min bike ride from airbnb and the conference center. There was a blue bike station close to the airbnb. Also, there's a good coffee shop called Ogawa 5 min walk away. I was able to run thru Boston commons and on the espanalade which were al really nice.
Great location to visit all of the downtown sites, freedom trail, harbor, commons, etc. It is downtown so just be aware of surroundings just like any city.
Albert and his crew and very helpful and responsive. Instructions clear and apartment was as described. Thank you!
The location, right in the heart of Boston, makes this a great place to explore the city. It’s also right by several train stops and near amenities, so you can easily go shopping, get groceries or go out to eat. Close to Boston common, it’s easy to see what Boston has to offer. The apartment doesn’t get much natural light.
A few things didn't match up to the description (missing kitchen necessities, small bed) but Albert or someone from his team responded very quickly and did what they could to fix it immediately. The location is amazing and the building was pretty quiet.
Albert’s place did the job. I would of have the place a better review but we had a very inconvenient experience with getting into the place midway through our trip. We left and when we came back the keypad to the door wasn’t working leaving us stranded outside until another person inside let us in. Although our host was responsive this was absolutely ridiculous. Especially because I could only imagine if that happened to me alone at night when the building is surrounded by homeless people. We had no issues with the homeless but it’s just fact that it could of been a more uncomfortable situation. Other than that the place was in a good location walking distance to many places. It was clean and we were happy to be able to bring our dog. The place has really nothing but a few glasses. So I wouldn’t plan on really cooking there.
mixed review. the good: great location, and very efficient hosts. the amenities, including bathroom and kitchen, were clean, new and well functioning. the bathroom was especially well built, modern, with great water flow! not so good: this place lacks coziness. the walls were mostly bare, except for 2 paintings in 2 different rooms. plus, the empty walls had open electrical boxes showing, I guess for some coming plugin art or clocks? but nothing was there now - just a hole. Also, the lighting was very harsh. the entire place (except bathroom) had just very harsh LED ceiling lights, but only one desk lamp in the entire place. also, only one rug with cold wood-laminate floors throughout. basically, it was a nice functional apartment, but with a total lack of charm or coziness.
The pros: walkable, felt safe once inside, clean, good shower pressure The cons: Albert and team were completely inflexible with a cancellation request I made just two hours after the 48 hour window for full refund (weeks ahead of my trip). There were several factors behind my request, one being that the listing mentioned having elevator access, which is why I booked it. There are actually 2 full flights of stairs to climb with luggage to reach this unit. I asked about this and all they did was remove "elevator" from the listing. It shouldn't have been mentioned if there is no elevator to the second floor. An old review mentioned the inaccuracy which is how I found out, very misleading. The unit was okay, 3-star. No amenities like paper towels, body wash, q-tips, blanket for couch, etc. Kitchen was not fully stocked for cooking. Bed had an uneven mattress. Little natural light. Signs inside said these units are used to house families during medical treatments; it was bare bones.
Great location for the Boston Marathon, walked to Boston Commons to catch the bus to the start line , my wife was able to walked to the finish line, shopping, restaurants, parks, etc . This was our first visit to Boston and we Uber’ed a lot for $10-$15 a trip. The place served the purpose, it was clean, no view, could use a little love with some paint touch up, typical city street noises at night. I would defiantly recommend this spot for Boston Marathon weekend.
I had a wonderful stay at Albert's AirBnb. Everything was extremely neat and well-appointed. It really exceeded my expectations and I was very comfortable during my stay. I have already booked again to stay here next month.
Great central location and nice, clean place to stay. Definitely hope to be back soon and very much liked staying here.
Just as described, clean safe place to sleep while visiting Boston for my wife and I first time. Parking garage for the rental and the T train were both just about 2 blocks away.
I had a fantastic stay at this place in Boston. It was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed to feel right at home. The location was great, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a convenient stay in Boston.
A good place and the place is per the description of Albert… I would suggest this place to everyone… They are very prompt at every reply and help you need… Everything is just near to the apartment… like all shopping.. all small purchases and all logistics also… Nice and clean apartment.. Appreciate the way they work
As advertised and shown in pictures. The Downtown Crossing area is very central - close to the Orange line and Boston Commons, short walk to Back Bay and Beacon Hill. The Street itself is very loud - sound travels from the street to the unit as well as between units. Property manager provides a sound machine to help :) Full kitchen but no supplies (i.e. coffee machine but no coffee, no salt/pepper/oil) you would need to shop if you are a long-term stay. There is a 711 on the corner.
Albert was a great host and the apartment for my wife and I. Great location!
Was an awesome stay ! Walking distance to pretty much everything you wanna do in Boston so you save plenty money from having to use Uber
Good host, clean place
The best 400 sq. ft. apartment I've ever seen. Perfect for a long weekend trip to Boston with my husband. The bed and bedding were sooooo comfortable. The shower was AMAZING - it felt like standing under a waterfall. The kitchen was perfect for cooking light meals. It was record-breaking cold and the unit was warm and cozy. It was shockingly quiet and the location was amazing. Minutes to restaurants, the Freedom Trail, and a couple different subway stations. My only complaint was that there wasn't any oil or salt. I had read that on previous reviews and asked the host specifically to make sure the apt. had them (as it is stated on the listing). He said no, so we brought our own. Truly a gem. We would stay here again.
Excellent stay. Quick and easy check in and out. Albert’s place is clean and cozy and there are many great spots to visit within walkable distance, which is super convenient. Definitely recommend.
Great place to stay for a few days or more, great location at the heart of Boston. Lots of stores nearby and most places are within walking distance. I took the subway once to go to Cambridge but other than that there's not really a need for public transport. The host was also very friendly and caring, can easily recommend it!
Albert and his team were wonderfully accommodating on early check in/late check out while traveling in the area with our dog for the first time. This location is right around the corner from Boston Commons and the Orpheum Theatre and is a fantastic quiet space.
Great place! The location was perfect, it’s close to everything you want to do in Boston and all within walkable distances. It’s surrounded by any little thing you are looking for. The host was also very responsive and helpful!
Great place to stay, most destinations were walkable, and the host was always responsive!
It was a great place to stay! Extremely walkable and easy to get to all the places you want to be in Boston.
Exactly as advertised. It was clean, in a good location and communication was great. I wouldn’t hesitate staying there again. Thank You
Clean apartment, comfortable, I do wish there was shampoo/conditioner available and water filter/pitcher. Location was convenient to convention center
Good value for money. The apartment is really well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need. There is no natural light unfortunately and we were a little unlucky that there was some street maintenance going on during the night, so the noise was a bit annoying. The place is clean and we would definitely stay again as the location is just perfect, we walked pretty much everywhere.
Great location. Great communication. Place is as described. Will stay again.
Thanks so much for your service. We really enjoy the stay. Hope to see u again in our next trip.
Albert's place was clean, comfortable, and as described. Great location right in the Downtown Crossing neighborhood in Boston - close to restaurants, shopping, and transit options!
Very nice stay experience here.
easy communication and check-in process, perfect location in downtown boston!
A great location by a fantastic host. Very cosy unit. Superb communication, always so prompt and clear.
Great downtown location just a few blocks from Boston Commons. No windows on the street but surprisingly quiet for the central location. Very nice shower (no tub).
I stayed at Alberts's place for 10 nights and had quite a bit of back on forth on simple items like the ironing board provided and the condition of the bedding. All of which I had flagged to their team, and was still left disappointed by the feedback (i.e bedding had to be replaced twice, and they still didn't get it right on the 3rd try - I gave up after this). Though their response time was amazing, they were a real letdown with their problem-solving. I, unfortunately, would not stay here again.
Albert’s apartment was perfect for a 2-night stay. The location is prime and walkable, and the apartment itself was super clean.
Really good
This room is very clean and safety to living. And the transport is very convenient.
Overall this place was great. I was particularly looking for a quiet place in/around DT Boston after having a bad experience with street noise the last time I visited, and just as others have reviewed, this place is indeed very quiet, which is amazing for where it is. That's because it is tugged in the back of the building. I only heard what I think were seagulls some mornings and one day faint construction noise - and even that was so faint there is no way it would have bothered me - and I'm a bit sensitive to that. It is small but has all the basics. I did ask for a noise machine when I booked, but didn't see it anywhere when I arrived. Since it was quiet I didn't need it. My guess is the host forgot. They are very responsive which is great. Plus they support a good cause which I love. A few furniture was worn/a bit broken and I'm guessing the photos are a bit older when everything was new - like the table and couch and dresser in the bedroom. I would have loved to have a collander in the kitchen. I'm sure they would have gotten me one but I only cooked the first night I was there so there was no need thereafter. I wouldn't call the small table next to the kitchen a work station as it is hard to even sit on with the limited space, but I appreciate that it is standing desk height and made use of it that way. Overall I recommend this place if you're looking for something central, quiet and simple to sleep. The bed is very comfy too and AC works great.
Great location if you are looking to explore the city
Good location, perfect spot to be able to walk to everything. Was perfect for my boyfriend and I for the night.
Albert has put together a home that is spacious yet cozy, well-equipped yet simple. The advertised photos are very accurate and the amenities are top-notch. The location is first-rate as well, within a 5 minute walking distance to dozens of great restaurants. Perfect for a young professional looking for a place to kick back and relax after work. Five stars all the way.
Great location! Really enjoyed staying here. The bed and sheets are super comfy. The kitchen is well equipped and I really appreciated the dishwasher. Small, but Perfect size for a couple.
Great location. Easy and convenient check-in process. The host was extremely professional with communication. Definitely recommend.
Great location, walking distance to some great Boston attractions. Very clean and comfy, felt secure and quiet.
We had a very good stay here! It was easy to find, close to several parking garages, very clean, and had air conditioning, which was an absolute must during the weekend we stayed. would definitely stay again!
Great place to stay if your visiting the city. It was clean, staff is responsive if you have any questions or concerns. Only downside was parking. Everything is within walking distance or not far on the train, however, if you plan on driving into the city keep in mind street parking is hard to come by and garage parking can get expensive
Great location, clean, has everything you might need during your stay in Boston (dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave, TV, etc).
Great space and a wonderful location!
The airbnb is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's in a very convenient location and everything was pretty much walkable. The lock to access the room was difficult to use but the host very quickly responded and helped me. So the communication is very good.
The place was clean and in an excellent location close to shopping, the subway line, and historical sites. Check in and out were super simple and the place was quiet for being in such a central location. The only negatives were the couch, which was worn out and not comfortable to sit on, and the TV was a bit cheap, though I could use the streaming services easily. Overall, would recommend.
The location and size was perfect for a couple’s get away. We walked to most everything but the subway was also very close. Would recommend staying here if visiting Boston to see the sights.
The location was amazing! Albert did a wonderful job making sure we had everything we needed. We felt this was a very safe area and would stay in this area again!
Great place, excellent location, well equipped. Clear directions to elevator would be helpful upon arrival with luggage. 5 p.m. check-in time is a bit late considering check out is at 10 a.m.
Great location. Nice apt. Parking is expensive
Great small apartment in the heart of Boston. Albert is a great and caring host. Fantastic stay!
Albert’s place was in a great location and has all the basics! We were there during Memorial Day weekend when prices around Boston are high, so this was a good choice versus the local hotels. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee in the apartment and a couple of spare towels, but otherwise it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable!
The location is superb!! Walking distance throughout the city, the apartment is just like described. Recommended!
The location is absolutely perfect: walking distance to the Freedom Trail and harbor, as well minutes from a T station. The unit may lack the coziness we often look for in a place to stay, the point of Boston is to go out, explore and enjoy what the historic city has to offer.
Very clean unit in prime location for exploring Boston by foot.
This was a great little place. Awesome location, felt safe in the big city.
Apartment was just as described - easy to access downtown location and was clean and comfortable.
Great Location and a very reachable host.
Convenient location, clean apartment, very suitable for exploring downtown Boston!
Quiet and neat. Very convenience location. Comfy bedding!
Small and efficient apartment nearby shopping.
The apartment was great - exactly as described and had everything I needed for a work trip to Boston. Albert shared detailed instructions for check-in, making the process quick and easy, and was responsive to questions. Location is a short walk to plenty of shops, restaurants, and transportation. Highly recommend!
Great space in premium location!! Will book again :)
Albert's place represents a part of airbnb that has developed/ evolved over the last maybe 5-10 years from the initial starting days of the "share a home" original design of the platform.. There are still hosts on airbnb who rent out partial or whole houses/ units they personally own. Sort of Mom and Pop personal operations. Albert and his group are professionals- they are property managers, efficient, accurate, who deliver good service albeit in a sort of corporate mechanical way. Don't get us wrong, everything went very well. the check in, the stay, a request that was accommodated beyond the usual ( much appreciated) , the unit itself, the communication, the facilities and the check out. it all proceeded with factory- like efficiency- producing great results. we'd like to thank Albert and his team for the great stay!
Great location. Within walking distance to two very easy to use 24hr parking garages. The description of the place and the area are super accurate. Cute place for a cozy stay. Within walking distance to anything and everything you may want or need for dining or shopping. Also very close to TD Garden arena. Caught a Bruins game and the atmosphere was electric. If you’re a sports fan, Boston sports culture is a must to experience! Great stay, nice place, and very communicative host.
This was a perfect spot to stay for a conference at the convention center across the bridge! Location was also nice with lots of coffee shops and convenience stores around. Great interior and beautiful setup. Fantastic hosts who are great at communicating.
It was an amazing experience to stay there. The host was extremely helpful and always responded in a timely manner. Great location. I could walk or take the T virtually anywhere I wanted to go in Boston.
Clean, good value, easy to find. I struggled with the wifi but was able to figure it out. Central location. Easy check in. Would stay again
Great value! Walking distance to nearly everything we wanted. Just a few minutes from Chinatown. Building is very secure, safe, and quiet. We never heard anyone else during our stay. Communication was on point. Would definitely book again.
We had an amazing stay! The hosts were responsive and the apartment was perfect for a few days in the city. Highly recommend!
Such a great space! Super clean and in a great area! Parking on the street wasn’t too bad. Overall, I had a great stay in Boston and would definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay here! Beautiful place that was perfect for our short stay away. Wonderful location and good amenities. Looking forward to to coming back soon! Thank you for having us!
Good small convenient apartment, if your thinking about booking this I would 100% recommend. good communication with owner, clean and over all well maintained.
Had a very comfortable stay! Appliances were all in good working order and very useful. Apartment was clean, and location was perfect right in the middle of Boston and short walks to grocery stores/T stops and shops. Just what we needed!
Decent place for a weekend trip! It did not look exactly like pictures. Wifi did not work. They gave instructions to use neighboring wifi options since they operate many units in the same building. None of the wifi options worked reliably (even for easy browsing like social media). Apartment was definitely more worn down than those original pictures (kinda dirty, scuffs everywhere, worn down cheap furniture, stained and wobbly couch, closet door off its hinges, etc.). Bathroom was clean thankfully. It was walking distance to some fun restaurants in the area. Check in and out were both easy and contactless.
Good place to stay. We spent Christmas here. Very close to Boston Downtown, and Chinatown that you can go there by walk. Surrounded by many restaurants and connivence stores, there is a mall nearby. Only problem is parking, need to find a nearby parking, parking fee is not cheap.
This place is phenomenal. We managed to walk to everything we wanted to see and do while there. You are a 5 minute walk to Chinatown along with 15-20 minute walk to everything else (like little Italy). I would highly recommend staying here if you’re just a couple traveling!
Great place at an amazing location. Clean and has just what you need for your stay.
Great place and very neat and clean. Easy check in and a good location. Would recommend
This location is incredible! Nice, quiet, and a wonderful host to work with!
Amazing location, spacious living area - a fantastic place I would highly recommend!
Great place in a very convenient location. Walking distance from many places and subway is right down the block! Would recommend this place to anyone visiting.
Great location. The apartment was nice and cozy. Highly recommended!
This is a great little spot for an overnight in downtown Boston - close to a few nearby parking garages. Everything you need is communicated through the app.
Great place to stay
Stayed for a short conference, convenient location and an easy 20 mins walking distance from convention centre. Clean with simple self check in. Only gripe was not being to get on the wifi for the specific unit, had to use a neighboring network instead.
Great stay! Bed was extremely comfortable!
Great location, super quiet, great responsiveness from the host! Would def stay again.
This place was perfect for our needs. I agree with other reviewers concerning the area. It is not really a neighborhood and there are many homeless. The convenience for transportation and shopping is phenomenal. I never felt unsafe
location cleaniness and shower / towels are very good check in instructions only sent morning of check in so if traveling this is a little stressful Apt was listed as being an elevator building. In fact the elelevator only starts on the second floor - two flights of stairs. If you have knee issues it will be issue. my wife's knees caused us to leave a day early We never would have stayed if we knew there was not elevator service to 2nd floor The bed is good for one person and two people was very difficult. Apartment is listed to have a TV. In fact, the TV has no live channels and a person must use their own streaming services to get access to offerings on chrome On positive, the responses to questions were very fast.
Everything was clear and the stay was perfect. Would recommend the place to anyone.
Albert and team were great. They responded to questions quickly. The apartment is in an ideal location to explore Boston. I love what they are doing to help people with medical issues have a place to stay during treatments.
This apartment had the oddest layout I have ever experienced! The bedroom is separated from the closet and the bath by the kitchen! The closet parallels the kitchen cabinets. The bed is very comfortable, which was a plus. The tv was more for show than anything because you have to buy each program that you want to watch! Even the basic channels. The place was clean, and the location is very good, but I wouldn't want to stay there again. Unlike any other Airbnb that I've used, this place supplied nothing! We brought in our own coffee, etc. There wasn't even salt and pepper in the cabinets. Entry was difficult initially, working the a/c was hard at first. Albert and crew were good about responding quickly, but I got tired of having to ask about so many different things. I also got tired of being told of all the things we couldn't do, all the extra costs we could incur if we weren't careful and never actually feeling welcome.
The place was great! Exactly as advertised, very clean, and in a great location with a short walk to Boston Common. The check-in was easy as well. Would definitely recommend!
A clean and cozy apartment with a stocked kitchen perfect for 1 or a couple. The bed is cozy and love how dark the bedroom gets with minimal light in a tall window.
Apartment was just as advertised. Great location in downtown without the downtown noise. Close to restaurants and amenities.
Great location and cozy place!
Great stay in an awesome location!
Served the purpose of a early flight no frills
Small, but you're in Downtown Crossing, you're either there to pass out between shifts or bang, let's be real, you're not there for the accommodations. Happy everything worked as advertised and I had laundry. Location's rough, but again, DOWNTOWN CROSSING, if you haven't taken a speed-read through the past 30 years of Boston's history and you book a week here on impulse thinking it's all dunk's and roses...that's on you, buddy. It's still a safe location due to extreme over policing, long as you fit a certain profile, anyway. Unusually high ceilings, though, really weird for a living space that tiny.
Second time staying here, another great experience!
This cute flat #2D is in a perfect location. There are shops and restaurants steps away, yet the apartment itself is extremely quiet and a great refuge after a long day. The bed is extremely comfortable, the petite kitchen has everything needed to prepare and enjoy meals if that’s what you want to do. The good quality of the dishware and flatware and glassware are a nice touch. I love having an electric kettle! Thanks to Albert and his team for a great stay.
Great place to stay. Made seeing Boston easier
Such a great location, easy walking distance to all major sites in downtown Boston. Albert was super responsive and great to work with. Would recommend this place to anyone!
Very clean and cute space. Loved the location. Wish we knew more about parking we spent almost 300$ on parking alone for a 3 day stay 😂😂😂
The shower handle was broken and never got fixed. Did not seem like a priority to have a working shower handle. If it was for our own ingenuity then we would not have been able to take a shower. Notifed the landlord and responses were fast but actual fixing the issue was sorely lacking. Half way through the stay said they were going to fix it asked them to come the next day because had left my pet there for a few hours they said no problem next dd's ay ok. Next day made sure took my dog with me and no one ever showed to fix the shower.
it was a perfect place to stay while in Boston. It allowed us to be in the center of Boston without having to pay the high prices. Great location, we were able to walk everywhere and the places we couldn't walk to, the apartment was close enough to hop on the train!
Albert’s apartment was in good location central to the financial district of Boston. Plenty to see and do within walking distance. The accommodations were perfect in size for two people. The bed was comfy, the AC worked well (was very hot outside during our stay), and the noise level from outside and other units was to a minimum. Would visit again next time I’m in town!
Great location and close to everything downtown! Lots of options for transportation if there are attractions further away. The team was very responsive to any questions and thorough regarding the stay. We will definitely visit again!
The location was great, the host was very responsive and helpful, the apartment is beautiful and very clean. Would definitely recommend!
Perfect location, comfy, clean and just right for our 3 day stay in Boston.
Great location, hosts were very responsive and helpful. Unit was very clean and quiet. Great experience!
Great location. We walked everywhere and really enjoyed our stay.
Great location. Close walk to Boston Common, Quincy Hall Market Place, and many other great spots.
Small but well supplied. Convenient spot for a work trip.
This is a totally reasonable place to stay in Boston. Close to Boston Commons and public transportation. The only issue with it is that it's very dark. The window is facing walls of something (adjacent building?). None of this matters if you're mostly using it as a place to sleep, of course. On the bright side, it's very quiet.
This place offers great value and Albert was very helpful with his communication and accommodations! If there is an issue which probably won’t even arise he will help to mitigate the situation. Great host.
super cute, clean and easy to find.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
