Great location. Very convenient to the T and so walkable. Grocery store around the corner. Was perfect for touring Boston! Got a great work out going up and down to the 4th floor but there is an elevator if you need it.
The only thing we’d change: the window shades don’t provide enough darkness from the outside lighting. And it would have been better without the noise from the street cleaning (from 2:00am) and some construction nearby. However, we could not recommend the house more: near everything in central Boston, easy access from the airport and to 3 subway lines, well maintained and clean, well decorated and furbished, easy communication and very easy check-in process. We'll definitely come back!

Great place! As noted in other reviews, the only annoying part is the late check in at 5 PM. The place is exactly as described by the pictures and communication was clear. Excellent location right at the heart of downtown, close to the subway stations. Great price that was half the cost of hotels in the area. We would definitely stay again!
I'm glad I'd read previous reviews. I never felt unsafe entering or exiting, but I think I would have been uncomfortable if I had not expected the homeless presence. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. Quick and easy communication around arranging an early check in was much appreciated.
Good location, very convenient to walk to most places in Downtown Boston. Airbnb is as described. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this airbnb, mostly due to the great location, however can’t rate higher than 4 stars due to the late check-in time of 5pm.
We both really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable, spacious and clean. It was also conveniently located with a range of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Easy, clean, close to transportation
The apartment was very clean and tidy. Exactly as looks in the pictures. Entry to the building and room was very easy. Healing Homes was easy to work with. Would have like a little earlier check-in but everything worked out well. Location is very close to many sites that are walk-able.
Very convenient location. South Station that airport shuttle takes you to is only a 5 min walk away. And then it's close to Boston Common, North End, Back Bay and Seaport. Can walk everywhere. The apartment has all you need. A nice walk-in shower.

Good location for Boston Common, Beacon Hill and within 2 minutes for subway. Easy walk from South Station. Check in time was quite late (5pm) but host recommended a bag storage place nearby. The room was spacious and squeaky clean, great shower and good kitchen facilities. Some noise from a generator running outside all night powering temporary street light but that wasn’t the fault of the host. Overall good value and having laundry facilities was useful.

Great space, clean, comfortable. Few minor things. It is not on the second floor, it’s 4 flights of stairs up so be prepared. At the time of our stay (12/4)there was a generator powered streetlight right outside the windows which was loud and very bright every night.
Several issues that I think I should comment and warn the potential future residents. It is a fairly clean unit. The unit itself has no problem. However, several issues that I think are more serious: First, right outside there is a generator powering night street light that makes loud noise, which makes the unit inhabitable at night. I couldn’t sleep at all and the noise was mentally detrimental - I had to move out midnight and find another place to stay. No refund, of course. Second, exposed asbestos in the stairs that you will walk pass it on your way to the unit. Not the most ideal situation. They have very serious warning of “quiet hours” but I find that a joke. The street has loud noise CONSTANTLY from the generator (on top of traffic, weird people shouting, street cleaning). The building is not quiet 24/7.
Really liked staying there,would stay again.
The location was great, walkable to all of Boston. The place was pretty clean, however the hot water went out in the whole building 1 day into our stay. The host did communicate this to us however the issues was not going to get fixed for a couple of days. We tried to tough it out however the frigid cold shower was less than ideal. We reached out to the host to see if we could possibly move to another air bnb because not being able to shower was a pretty big deal. The host’s response was pretty snarky and we no longer wanted to stay there. We moved to a local hotel and we’re able to get a refund for our last two nights. I understand that the hot water being out is totally out of their hands but being rude was just not necessary.
I can vouch for most of the positive reviews here however it is vital to note the following which I feel people should be made aware upfront: this building is primarily for medical stays and felt eerily desolate upon our arrival/stay over 4 nights in November. We rarely saw anyone. My biggest gripe about this place is it’s RIDDLED with homeless people all the time doing drugs outside the building entrance. We thought it was because we arrived late at night (midnight) at first, but this was the case practically 24/7 during our 4 nights there. Very uninviting and concerning. Everytime we had to go inside or leave, there was a group of homeless lighting up and doing illicit drugs or acting very obnoxiously loud. It was their favorite spot. We even were harassed at one point. I chose the 4th floor intentionally thinking it would for sure be a quiet stay, but they kept me up at night screaming. Cheap construction of everything like walls and big windows is why. Not the most safe feeling :(
Great stay overall, easy to get to everywhere in Boston. Room was clean, bed super comfortable. Get place for travel in the city and to hop on both North Line trains and South bound. Great place for the cost and location. Our only issue is nothing the owners can fix as there were many many homeless camping out each night below our rental and across the street, they yelled at eachother most of the night. There was a noise machine in the rental though which was very thoughtful. Location and cleanliness were great!!! Communication with the owners was great too. 👍

Very happy with this stay, we flew into Boston and took the silver line to South Station, then walked to the airbnb. Did the same to the bus station to head to the cape. About a block away from downtown crossing station that'll take you anywhere in Boston. Condo was clean and easy to access, keep in mind you do have to go up 1 flight of stairs to hit the elevator. Perfect for 1-2 people!

I really recommend this room, we stayed here for 2 nights and the room was so comfortable, just like home. And it was also convenient, a 7-11 downstairs and some supermarkets, and close to the beginning of the freedom trail. It will be a good choice if you come to Boston for a visiting.
great location if you're in town for work. super close walking distance to two T lines. pharmacy on the corner and TJ Max/Marshalls/Macy's etc literally around the corner for a forgot-to-pack ruhroh, which we had. super easy walk to Boston Common and an ideal location for getting out to the Esplenade for run or walk, if that's your jam. not the most ideal location for young kiddos. steep stairs and it's definitely an urban environment when you walk out the door. always felt safe but just wouldn't have been great for wee ones.

Everything here was great. Good location for walking around to breakfast, getting coffee, etc. just the right amount of space. Very clean space. Wanted to book for another night and extend our stay, we hope to be back soon!

Fantastic location. Easy ride on the SL1 from airport, then a short walk. Close to the subway, Boston Commons, Beacon Hill, and the start of the Freedom Trail. Unit was clean and well appointed. The white noise machine and earplugs were a nice touch. Great breakfasts at Bakey and Cafe Bonjour It's located in the Financial District and many restaurants in the area close in the late afternoon. Plan ahead for your evening meals.
Very good location. Place generally really good. Only thing is we didn't have kitchen appliances , we reached out to host and they sent it really quick.
Clear instructions on how to enter; room, kitchen, and bathroom were well cleaned and stocked. Location was great with a parking garage close by, plenty of restaurants, close to Boston Commons, and walkable to the waterfront. It was especially nice to stay with a company so dedicated to providing homes to those with medical needs and being able to contribute to that by staying on one of their properties.

The positives: - Management company was extremely responsive to all messages. - Location is centrally located in downtown with proximity to the orange transit line and nice local spots like the public gardens and seaport. - Bed was very comfy! - Served our needs as conference goers because we were out of the house all day. Some things worth mentioning that we felt were not clear in the description: - This apartment building is part of Healing Homes, furnished apartments for medical stays. It was confusing to enter a building that felt like it was managed exclusively for people with medical needs, rather than vacationing or on business. - The shower grouting is dirty and needs to be replaced, as do the broken tiles in the bathroom doorway. - The room pictured is much nicer and brighter than in reality. I should know by now that Airbnb photos are misleading due to extensive editing and lighting adjustments, but we were a bit surprised by the dinginess. - Noise is to be expected
Great place, very well located
The unit itself was very clean, accurately described, and easy to get into, however if you plan on leaving or coming back to the room at night it does not feel very safe. There are a good amount of homeless people directly outside of the building and the entrance to the building smelled like human urine. We were awoken twice through out the night by multiple people screaming directly outside of the building so loud that it sounded as though they were inside the building. The door to the building has to be pulled shut behind you or else it will stay open for people to follow in behind you. I know this is not the fault of the owner, or can be controlled, however this information should be considered when making a decision of where to stay.

We loved our stay with Albert. It was just as described, a nice studio with a beautiful kitchen we didn’t really have time to use. Pretty clean and near everything we wanted to do, barely used uber, mostly walked. Bed is comfy, great host. The only thing we think is good to highlight is that it does get dangerous at night, there’s a lot of homeless people around hanging specially in the entry door. We went to a baseball game at Fenway park and when we came back there was 4-5 people on the door. We were really scared of asking them to move since there was no more people around but my husband asked nicely and they moved. There’s also cops all around the area at night, a little noisy but nothing too annoying really, we’re from NYC so maybe it will be different for you! Overall the place is great, location is great but safety is something to watch out at night.
I was in Boston for a conference for the week. Albert's place was perfect for my needs - convenient location, stocked kitchen, comfortable studio. As all the reviews noted and Albert was clear about also, there is noise from the street. Two of my five nights there was significant street construction noises (think jack hammer) until well after 10 p.m. It wasn't a huge deal for me and I had read the reviews but I was surprised at how late into the night the workers were active. Overall I highly recommend.

I had an incredible stay here. The host was informative and great at communicating to ensure a smooth time in the city. The unit is spacious and impeccably clean. Updated modernist feel with high ceilings and minimalist flair. Location is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, nightlife hotspots and tourist attractions. I’d highly recommend this space to my peers if they inquire. I myself will be back!

Only visited Boston for a few days which was very worth the price. The airbnb itself is nice and cozy but the location is the middle of downtown which is inconvenient for parking.
Place was exactly like the pictures. It was perfectly clean when we arrived. The linens were nice quality, the kitchen was well equipped but had basically no pantry staples, just salt and pepper, (coffee maker but no coffee, pans and no oil). There is a nice kind of upscale grocery just a couple blocks away. We visited in the winter and the place kept a comfortable temperature. The hot water and water pressure were good. There was mild occassional road noise and city noise, really downright peaceful for a downtown location. We did have to climb a flight of stairs to the second floor and then take an elevator from there, but the instructions on how to find and get into the apartment were very good. I did go online and look at a street view on maps beforehand to make it easier to find the building, since downtown Boston is laid out like an anthill and light on street signs. The location was excellent, right near downtown crossing, very walkable and easy transit access.
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The room is very cozy and the bed is comfortable! Although the bed is slightly smaller than I expected, enough for two people to rest. The kitchen space is superb, we spent quite a lot of time there :) The bathroom is neat and clean, and one thing to mention is that you can actually flip the mirror. So it gives you more space to put your personal belongings. We discovered that the very last night… You need to carry your bags to the second floor and change to the elevator, but this is reasonable as the owner mentioned beforehand. The location of the apartment is excellent, near the green line and red line. Chinatown is just a couple of minutes away, and so does downtown Boston. Furthermore, this apartment gives support to people for medical stay, really using the money you paid to help! Recommend here to everyone!
Room was clean and bed comfortable. Hosts very responsive and amazing location. Only note is that the walls are very thin- okay if your neighbours sleep at night but we were unlucky enough to have neighbours that had the tv on and listening to music all night which you could hear so clearly we knew what show they were watching. Hosts were accomodating when told and provided us with earplugs and a noise machine. Overall a good place however.
Great place and location
This was the perfect spot for me and my boyfriend/ it was walking distance to everything we wanted to do downtown and just 15 walking minutes from Seaport and other areas of Boston that we enjoy. It was cozy and clean. The night and early mornings could be a little noisy just like any city. But it didn’t bother us - just an fyi for those who aren’t used to city noise. The host was very accommodating and approachable when check in and check out plans changed. Thanks for having us and looking forward to being back.

Albert was a great host and always made himself available for any requests. I believe leaning fee is a more then expected. Host had requested to wash the dishes and eave them in the Dishwasher, Take out the trash bags and leave them by the door. If there is a mess in the fee there would be an extra charge. Is the cleaning fee just to come in and fix the bed and change linens.
everything was fine, except for the fact that they make you check out very early and checkin very late, which is unacceptable. You cannot even leave your luggage there without them wanting to charge you about $60 for it. Not cool.
We had a wonderful stay in Albert’s apartment. The location is perfect to visit the city and there are shops, markets and pharmacies nearby. The apartment is just as in the photos and very very clean. We appreciated the communication with Albert and Healing Homes team. We will come back for sure.

Not as nice as the pictures. In a great area but very worn. Cheap everything from the furniture to soaps and towels, but the bed and sheets were comfy. In a rough building but seemed safe enough. The host is a big management company, although communication was prompt and kind. Not terrible, just meh, especially considering the cost. For $40 more per night, you can get a nice hotel.

Great Location & it is heartwarming and amazing what they do! Was essentially identical to the photo. Extremely easy check-in and out. Very convenient. The only downfall was the location of the elevator/stairs for luggage. Based where our room was the stairs were on one side of the building and the elevator was on the other. So you had to walk up the stairs and then walk to the elevator (or continue walking up the stairs). Just not ideal for luggage! There are parking garages around, but definitely be prepared to walk a little. Everything else was great and super easy. We enjoyed our stay

Nice location – walking distance to nearly all of our destinations and super close to Boston Common/T station and a CVS. Our own fault for not figuring out sooner but you have to walk through, to the other side, of the second floor to access the elevator. Thorough and responsive host. Clean and adequate apartment. No extra comforts - additional washcloths and blanket would have been superb – but overall, a pleasant stay!

Loved everything about the condo. The only thing i wish it had was more bath towels. With only two towels and no washer and dryer in the unit we wish we had a few more towels to use. Albert's listing was as described. Right in the heart of Downtown Boston. We walked to pretty much everything. Room was super clean and comfortable. Not a compliant but a few things for future renters. While the road by the apartment isn't super busy, you will hear road noise. Plenty of beeping car horns and engine revs. I slept fine but be aware. Also, not the host(s) fault, but they must allow pets. Got out of the elevator and someone's dog did he or she's business and that person didn't clean it up. It was there the whole day and when we were checking out. Hopefully the cleaning staff took care of it. All in all it is worth the cost as it is real easy for you to see everything Boston has to offer. Bob from Hershey Pa.

Location, cleanliness, and communication were great. My complaints: I couldn't get the blinds to lower, so it was bright. Also, the windows allow a lot of noise in. I get cities are noisy, but there is nearly no dampening; almost as it the windows were open. Also there was something clicking in the side of the room. Don't know what it was, but it kept me awake. Overall a good experience, but with some changes it could be perfect. Thanks!

Location is great, the apartment is clean and good for short stays. Convenient location for blue line, bike, and walking. There is some city noise but if you’re used to the city the apartment is pretty quiet. The hosts are quick and responsive.

Our first negative Airbnb experience. The unit was well located but sterile in every way. The communication was canned and sterile. The unit was devoid of decoration or useful amenities. The first 4 floor hike with all luggage could have been avoided. There was an elevator. But kept secret. Parking was a hassle. Hate to be negative but I wish we had stayed elsewhere

We moved into this room the day after the Boston Marathon and was terrified by the 4 flights of stairs I had to climb to get to the room. We could not check in until 5pm, which was also annoying. The worst part was that the bed was broken and sagged down in the middle. They promptly brought in a handy man, but it was beyond repair. I cannot say how long the bed was like this, and I hope they replaced it once we left. Otherwise, the location was very convenient and close to the Boston Commons. The rest of the apartment was nice and clean.

The condo is a perfect size for 2 people - the kitchen is fully equipped, good bathroom. We had a great time and this place was great to come back to and relax! We would stay again in a minute! The location is outstanding - the heart of a walkable tourist district on a quieter side street. The apartment is spacious and the high-touch surfaces including in the bathroom were extremely clean. The mattress is not the most comfortable and the bed springs are noisy, which are the only reasons I’m not rating it 5 stars.
My wife and I had a great stay in Albert’s place. Although we had a small hiccup with checkin (there are 2 doors, we went to the wrong one) we were able to figure this out quickly and were responded to within 5 minutes! The location was perfect, we had no issues with noise and the apartment was spotless. Would definitely stay again!
Great spot conveniently located in walking distance to almost everything. It is NOT accessible as you have to get to the 2nd floor before you can get an elevator the rest of the way, so hear that in mind when deciding if you need that extra pair of shoes.

We had an amazing stay at this apt! Extremely clean apt, just like the photos. Incredible location. A few blocks away from Boston Common, easy access to train, CVS, bars, restaurants. Super accommodating and responded within minutes every time I messaged. Checkin was made super easy.

It's one of the best airbnb that I lived in. It's super clean, quite large and is near to lot of convenience stores as well as cafes and restaurant. The communication between myself and the host was very quick and efficient. The host was just a text away from solving your problem. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Fantastic location, clean home, everything was exactly as we described and made our stay seem less and amazing. The best thing is the centralized location, steps from the Orange line and many other train stops. We ended up walking around more due to how centrally located this was. Excellent cozy studio that is close to the commons and walking distance to a lot of the historical places. It is a city but was still quiet at night and allowed us to rest when we needed it.
This place ended up being perfect for my boyfriend and I. Within walking distance to 90% of the attractions/bars we went to. Pretty quiet street despite being in the city. Only suggestion would be to add a body mirror. Albert and his team were very professional as we had a small hiccup when we first arrived, but the team was very quick to answer and resolve the issue. Also through no fault of them the elevator was broken so walking 4 flights of stairs started to get old. Otherwise would definitely recommend !

If you are planning to visit Boston this is the place to stay! The location is in Downtown Crossing which is a great location because it is in the middle of the city which makes getting around very easy. Also, it is a few minutes from south station which made our commute to and from our Amtrack a breeze. Along with the great location the place was immaculate. It was clean, well decorated, and had privacy from the other apartments on the floor. Also, Albert and his team were great with communicating with me while booking, up until our stay, and during our stay. Overall, do not hesitate to book this airbnb it is a great find!!

This airbnb was in the perfect location in downtown Boston. Just steps away from Boston Common, the beginning of the freedom trail and plenty of shopping. For everything else the T (subway) is right around the corner as well. The apartment provided all basic needs to shower, sleep and eat in. Communication was clear and quick. I would recommend staying here if you are looking to explore the Boston area.
This unit was so close to the Downtown Crossing station- convenient to Red, Orange, and Green lines for the subway. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Check in was easy/ fast/ convenient. Communication with the owner was very easy and quick to respond. The elevator is small (think European) and a little hard to get to, but once you find it, it really helps! The unit was as pictured with plenty of space for two people, just a little tight with 2 ladies getting ready in front of the small bathroom mirror. There is even a few extras- sound machine, fans, iron, towels and hangers in the closet. The bed is very comfortable and on the soft side. Make sure you come with your TV app logins because this place does not have basic cable and nothing is watchable unless you sign into your account. I made a few suggestions to add another mirror (full length), some curtains, etc to make the space perfect. My stay was great and free of any issues.
If you're doubting to stay at Albert's apartment, don't think it twice. GREAT LOCATION. Beautiful space. Loved the shower, nice kitchen. cleaning was 10/10.

This Airbnb is debatably in the best location in the city(if you are a fan of walking). Look no further because this is the best place to stay if you're looking to see multiple parts of the city over a long weekend. 10-20 minute walk to all of the popular parts of Boston (North End, Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Waterfront, etc.) The Airbnb was easy to get into, and it was great for shopping, eating, and site seeing. We will definitely be coming back in the future.
Great location, close to everything!
I chose this place so I could be close to the activities for the return of the Boston Marathon! The location was perfect: less than a mile from the end of the finish-line bag-check area, a decent and healthy walk to the convention center for the Expo, close to a grocery store, drugstore and my favorite post marathon treat, Five Guys! The unit itself was well appointed. A comfortable bed with wonderful linens, a kitchen with the necessary cookware, knives and silver and plates, nice towels... I didn't try the TV but my computer recognized the Chromecast. The Wifi was potent! All around, a solid and nice place to stay.

The apartment was in a great location, right next to the Downtown Crossing station. This place might not be suitable for someone that’s a light sleeper; city sounds and bright light in the morning are to be expected. Host was easy to reach and in communication at all times.
Studio apartment is PERFECT for 2. And the location could not be better!! We will definitely stay there again when visiting Boston.

Immaculate room. Everything you would need for a stay for many nights. Street noise wasn’t bad since it was the weekend….but host does leave a sound machine in bedside drawer, which is nice. Doors are very secure with high tech locking systems. Clear directions from host on what to expect and how to utilize locks on doors. Be aware that this is a shopping district, when stores close and it becomes dark the homeless settle down for the night. Many homeless in that area. NONE bothered us. Just wanted to make people aware so they know what to expect. Will certainly stay here again!

I would not stay here again. While the apartment is clean/fine, it’s a studio apartment with a non-comfortable bed in a mediocre area of Boston. The building itself is old and tricky to get into. However what’s absurd is they charge an additional $200 cleaning fee if you have a dog. That’s on top of the $90 standard cleaning fee. There’s no way anyone charges $300 to “deep” clean a studio. They also charge $50 is you want an early or late check out…what?! There’s also no parking so you’ll be paying $100+ in parking fees. The laundry’s also in the basement for a fee. Just a ton of hidden charges for a place that’s not that great or spacious. Just stay in a hotel!
Wonderful location! If you have never been to Boston, this is the perfect place to stay without needing a car. Super close walk to local bars and restaurants- we will be back!

Check in was easy, location incredibly convenient and clean. AC didn’t work during my stay so I had windows open which made it loud. Wish there was better communication by the host about AC fix and timing. Finally fixed morning I was leaving. With AC working, it would have been great!

This place was wonderful! My Husband and I decided to go to Boston for a little mini honeymoon right after our wedding and this place was the perfect stay! It matched the pictures, was clean, had plenty of supplies, and the communication from the team was wonderful. We didn't have a single issue. Best part was definitely the location. You couldn't beat it! Just around the corner from so many shops, restaurants and Boston Commons! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again next time we got to Boston!

Great central spot with access to anywhere you would want to go in downtown Boston. The apartment was tidy and easily accessible with the instructions that the company provided. I would recommend this place for people who are wanting to explore the town and need a comfortable bed to sleep in.
The place was very nice and clean, it was also in a perfect location in the city of Boston. The rules were a bit aggressive for the price of the stay though, many extra fees if you break a rule. Make sure you look at the rules before you book or you will find yourself with many extra ridiculous costs. For almost $600 for two nights I would say you should be able to have an extra guest. And it wasn’t like I threw a party, I had one last minute extra guest and I had to pay extra. Overall I enjoyed my stay

We had a great stay! The room was very cozy and welcoming, and the building was very quiet. We also enjoyed being such a short walk away from almost everything we wanted to reach in downtown Boston. We did find the streets around the apartment to be a little more deserted than expected late at night, and there was sometimes construction noise into the night. But these were small things to be aware of in what was a very lovely trip!

Location, location, location! This was perfectly center in Bostons downtown. Stylish and super clean, VERY comfortable mattress and pillows. Large beautiful windows in a peaceful, quiet building (the city itself has some noise which is expected, but the neighbors are very quiet!). Great place to catch some zzzs for the night and head downstairs right into city center.

Nice, clean and comfortable studio. Very close to many key attractions especially to Boston Common and Public Gardens. Could easily walk down to the commonwealth park of Back Bay or go in the other direction towards the North End to explore Little Italy and more. Street parking very hard to find around that area, but there are garages if you want to use them. Regardless be ready to pay a lot for parking throughout Boston.

This apartment was perfect for my 2-day getaway! Awesome location in the heart of downtown. Everything was clean and comfortable, and I loved the aesthetic! They had salt, pepper, oil, coffee and tea, and all the cooking items I needed. My favorite part was the beautiful sunlight which filled the space during the day. I would book again and recommend to any friends who visit Boston!

This place was great if you are looking for a place to stay in the city. Very nice and modern style with plenty of amenities like cookware, a coffee maker and full kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
