This beautiful apartment has exposed brick and an industrial feel, but also the warmth and comfiness of an inviting home. What makes this space unique is it's history. The building hallways all show historic photos of the neighborhood dating back to the 1800s! Just steps from the Boston Common, this building has had many tenants over the decades, from retail shops to manufacturing companies!
The building has an ADA compliant entrance, two elevators, two staircases, plenty of storage for trash, and even an Amazon Locker where you can send packages. (at the time of writing this description we are currently setting up the locker, please confirm if it is operational when you book!)
Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed, from the linens pillows and mattress to storage and lighting. Most bedrooms face inwards into a lightwell, or outwards into a city street, so you may not have "Amazing" views of a city skyline, but you will likely have a nice dark night sleep.
Each apartment is equipped with a smart lock and the building has an intercom system which allows a full, self-check-in experience.
The building is also monitored live by a third party security firm, 24/7 and we have an on-site security guard, nightly, from 8pm-2pm for your safety.
We will give our guests the privacy they require with the support they need. We have coverage for virtual help from 7am-11pm and can help with any guest needs from 11am-7pm.
Just steps from the Boston Common, this neighborhood has had many personalities over the decades! Since the early 1900s, the area along Washington and Tremont Streets, roughly from School Street to Beach Street, has also been referred to as the Ladder District. Now it is most commonly named Downtown Crossing as most of the city's Subway's or (T-lines) intersect at Park Street station. The MBTA's Downtown Crossing subway station directly serves Downtown Crossing. The State Street and Park Street stations are within close walking distance. Silver Line service is also available. You can get literally anywhere in the city for a few dollars and a Tpass.
The apartment building is located on a dead end street which means it's super quiet for automobile traffic, but still has the lively city feel as foot traffic is sure to be noticeable any time of day, even in the winter. The Boston Common is only a few hundred feet from the entrance to the building.
Important to note is that lately there has been a gathering of homeless people during the day and night, right outside the 7/11 around the corner. The high foot-traffic provides them opportunities to pan-handle. Please use your caution, and common sense. We've never had an issue, but for folks visiting from towns and rural settings may find this surprising, even concerning.
We've taken measures to make sure our guests are very safe and comfortable during their stays. The building is monitored 24/7 live by a third party security firm. The Boston Improvement Department does nightly walks of the property and nearby streets. We also have an on-site security guard, nightly from 8pm-2am for your safety.
Shipping up to Boston? We put together a great guide filled with information for getting around the city and beyond!
Downtown Boston is easy to navigate. It’s compact, walkable, has an abundance of taxis, yes they still exist! And Uber's are always a tap away. What makes Boston so accessible is it's public transportation system. Driving downtown can be a challenge with its dated road layout and limited parking options but, it’s the most convenient option for travel outside of Boston Proper.
The MBTA is Boston’s public transportation system, and it’s a great way to get around quickly and cheaply. The “T” refers to the subway, which runs throughout Boston, into Cambridge, and into nearby suburbs, providing access to all the attractions located in Boston. Just look for the big "T" in a circle to find a stop.
You can also take buses to get all over the city, and the Commuter Rail is an easy way to get to points outside of Boston. You can buy paper “Charlie Tickets” for single or multiple subway rides at vending machines located in most stations. When your ticket runs low, visit a fare vending machine to add value. A single basic fare for the T is $2.75 with a Charlie Ticket, although if you pick up a Charlie Card (a plastic card like a credit card), the fare is lower at $2.25 for one way. You can load the Charlie Card with an amount of your choosing, so it's smart way to explore the city. They're available at almost every T stop, and are free to get. Once on board, hang on! Being one of the oldest public transportation systems in the country, the T is not always the smoothest ride.
Parking. or "Paahking" is hard to find, expensive (by most tourists accounts) and is best done in lots or garages for peace of mind. Please check out a website called "Spot Hero" to find the most updated options and prices!

This rental suited our needs and worked well for our two night stay in Boston. Not fantastic, but certainly more than adequate. Pros: great location...walkable to everything in the Downtown area, very convenient access to the Freedom Trail, train station, T system, restaurants, shopping, etc. Very spacious with room to spread out, which is a nice distinction from cramped hotel rooms. Cons: located down an alley, so while it has some great windows and natural light the views are somewhat limited. The apartment had a very "utilitarian" feel...very few amenities provided and limited personal touches, making it feel a little sterile and uninviting. It is also in need of some minor repairs and touch-ups. Overall, we would consider staying here again but would temper our expectations knowing that lodging in Boston is expensive.
Beautiful place and comfortable for a larger group of 8! So many awesome restaurants and activities within walking distance! Hosts were very responsive and made the entire stay (check-in, check out, instructions on what to do) seamless! Would definitely recommend!
Right next to Boston Commons! Easy access to the T, but also very walkable to other parts of town.
Great spot for a stay in Boston!!
Great place and very convenient
An exquisite condo in a fantastic location. The place is beautiful and was perfect for our 1 night stay to explore downtown Boston. There are a lot of instructions and rules, so read thoroughly. Would definitely book again.
Nice accommodations. Kitchen supplies limited. Area seemed a bit concerning.
Had a great one-night stay here! The couch is nice and big, and the location is great - the area is very walkable. Hosts are very responsive and were accommodating for a late-checkout when I was switching units for the remainder of my stay (had to book two different units due to availability of dates). The layout down the hallway (starting from the entry door) is three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and one bedroom all in a row. Would stay again. Thanks!
Clean & Convenient - Could Be Cozier We had a group of 8 people, and a space this large was rare to find, clean, and comfortable for a long weekend. We were just a few minutes walking distance from the Opera House, Boston Commons, and a grocery store. The walks to Back Bay and Quincy Market were easy too (10-20 min). The host was very responsive. Beds and linens were comfortable. A few things could’ve shifted our stay from Good to Great. First, the check in/out times are not standard (5PM/10AM). There’s a fee for early entry/late exit. While they did let me store bags in the closet, they first proposed a storage service - again at a fee. Just felt transactional? There’s also not much in terms of amenities. The lobby is under construction and the kitchen only had pepper, salt, and three coffee filters. Shampoo/Conditioner was 2 in 1, toilet paper was thin - seemingly little things but less cost cutting could lead to a more comfortable stay.
Great location and place for my colleagues and I work trip! Very walkable and clean spacious home!
Lovely apartment in a perfect part of the city — had a great stay!
Excellent location close to Boston Commons. We walked most places, but the subway (Park Street) was located a block away. We would recommend staying here and plan to if we return to Boston.
Great location and nice place. Bedding was comfortable too. Good linens and extra towels. Having coffee and perhaps some detergent would have been a plus. Would stay again no problem!
One night stay right in downtown Boston. So much has changed since I went to school and lived there years ago. We opted to stay there because of location to TD Garden and all the available shops and restaurants around the place. Included Parking is also clutch given the area. We would definitely stay there again!
This apartment was excellent!! We had four ladies in our group and we each had our own private bedrooms with adequate space to relax together in the living room or enjoy our take out at the kitchen counter. The beds were extremely comfortable and the lines were soft and cozy. I would definitely stay here again. We were nervous this may be out of the way of some things but we found ourselves able to walk to everything in Boston! No Ubers needed!
Great spot. Close to subway station.
Nice apartment almost in the heart of Boston.
The apartment/condo was very nice... everything was clean and new. The location was great for Boston... at the top of the Boston Commons, where you can walk to many places and downtown attractions. Parking, like most of Boston, is a challenge.
Great place, clean room, and a friendly and quick response from the host. Definitely, recommended condo to have a fun of Boston life.
The apartment was beautiful and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We love Boston and staying here made our trip all the better
Healing homes was very responsive and the apartment was spotless. Great for a large family.
The place is spotless. We ended up leaving a previous reservation last minute and we appreciated the prompt response and accommodation. The place is clean, comfortable and accessible in the Boston downtown area. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again!
This apartment was exactly what we were looking for! There was a great living room with lots of room to hang out, and plenty of room in the kitchen to cook, with all the equipment we needed. Healing Homes was centrally located—very walkable to Newbury Street, the South End, Boston Commons, and other destinations, and right outside a central T hub that allowed for easy transportation. We had a bit of a parking mix-up but the Healing Homes hosts resolved it incredibly quickly. The beds were very comfortable and if we didn't have a newborn I'm sure we would have slept very well! It was also a very family-friendly place.
This place has the potential to be amazing. It’s definitely nice and in a great location. The beds were comfy and it had a lot of charm. Our issues surrounded the building maintenance. There was a day when the water went out on us, which is challenging when you’ve got a full house of people on a hot Boston day. Also, the main elevators were not working during the day. There were other elevators that always worked but often they were filled with maintenance people.
Very nice place inside. Convenient location right near Boston Commons. Walking distance to many historical spots. Thanks!
Great apartment and location.
This air bnb was absolutely amazing! It looked even nicer than the photos, and was extremely clean and tidy. The self check in process was smooth, as the host made the instructions very easy to follow. The host was also friendly and kind, and was able to easily accommodate my need for an earlier check in weeks before the reservation date. I would absolutely stay in this air bnb again when I visit Boston next time!
This is a beautiful and spacious apartment. The rooms are big and appreciated the 2 full baths and laundry machines. The location is wonderful near The Common, restaurants and shops but some of the area around the building is full of people approaching and begging for money, as well as fighting. We were cautious when going in and out of the building. We had no problems. Paid parking pass is available and very convenient. Owners always responded quickly to my emails. Easy check in and check out. Great place near many historic sights!
Beautiful space, great location.
Loved the location. Close to everything , walked everywhere !! Make sure to make reservation for parking that was the only negative experience
The unit was very beautiful - plenty of space and with nice touches throughout. Beds were very comfortable as well and the managers were quick to respond when I needed a new hairdryer as the previous one died. The lobby is VERY under construction - crews did not put up "wet concrete" signs and my husband slipped and fell in the concrete which was unfortunate. But otherwise a good stay.
The apartment was very easy to find and instructions were clear and thorough. Lobby was undergoing renovations but this was clearly communicated before I booked. The apartment was large and spacious for 4 of us and would easily accommodate larger families. Has all the basics you would need. We didn't cook anything besides breakfast. Nicely decorated but very corporate in feel. Location was great! very close to the T and to so many sights that we were planning on visiting. We were able to walk to most places. There were a lot of homeless people and/ or drug use nearby which made the kids feel a little unsafe- but overall it was fine. We didn't go out late at night since we were all very tired and the kids are young-ish, so not sure what the area is like after 10p.
This building is under construction. When we arrived, one entrance was completely blocked because they poured fresh concrete. The other entrance was 1 floor down, which would be fine if there was a working elevator. We were on the 5th floor with no working elevators for the first 2 days of our trip, it was miserable. This unit was advertised as "parking available", which is true if you want to pay an additions $50/day to park in essentially an alley with drug dealers and homeless people constantly milling around, or you can park a 4 minute walk away for $41/day in a safer garage. The unit itself was spacious, it fit our needs. The bathrooms had no ventilation, if you took a longer shower you could choke in the steam. There was outside noise (to be expected downtown) and hallway noises from other guests. The location was great, walkable to everything we needed in Boston. However; as a woman I did not feel safe walking alone after 9pm.
Thanks for letting us crash at your place for the night. Worked out perfectly.
This is our 3rd year staying in this building for the Boston Marathon. The location was awesome. Near subway. Walkable to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping. Short walk to the bus where the runners were transported. Host was extremely responsive. We arrived before check in and after messaging him, we were able to drop off our luggage and go to lunch, etc. until the apartment was available. He was very accommodating. Great amenities. Had a wonderful time.
This place would be great if everything worked as expected. One day into our stay, the stove and oven stopped functioning. While the host was initially responsive, they left us hanging wondering when/if someone would come repair it. No one ever showed for the rest of our stay to fix it and I kept being told my “concerns would be addressed with the team”. I’ve never heard back from this team about my concerns. We had a family of 5 and purposely chose a place with a functional kitchen to avoid eating expensive meals out. Not only did we have to throw away all the groceries we had purchased to cook, but we also had to pay for 3 meals a day in an expensive city that we weren’t planning on. Air BNB refunded a small portion of our stay, but didn’t begin to make up for the added cost of wasted groceries and expensive meals out. I was very disappointed in how the host handled this issue. We ended up spending a ton more money on this vacation than we had budgeted for due to this issue.
Great location. Super clean place. We enjoyed spreading out in the 4 bedrooms. The host responded quickly. If you plan to cook, bring butter, oil, and seasonings. The T (subway) is a block away in 2 directions and is convenient to ride. Many parts of town are walkable. We would definitely stay here again.
Overall a good stay, with a few quirks. Elevators were unreliable during our stay. Lobby is still under construction and at times there were tools/materials around the floors as we were entering/exiting which made it unsafe for small kids. Showers don’t have shelves or a space for soap/shampoo so you have to leave everything on the shower floor. Very clean space, great kitchen, and roomy bedrooms.
Beautiful place to stay in the city! It was very quiet and could walk to many places.
Had a blast. 10/10 would recommend
Had a blast. 10/10 would recommend
Great location. Exactly as described. We had a great long weekend.
This is a wonderful spot for families, both centrally located and safe. The apartment was clean, quiet and peaceful (you hear the T train running under the block/building, but it's not disturbing). We arranged for use of one of the available parking spots for several days and had no issues. For those planning to cook on-site, note that the apartment is well set-up but the kitchen doesn't include pots and pans, or dish towels. This is a great homebase for all your Boston adventures. Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was very clean, very centrally located, and perfect for our group! I would definitely stay there again.
Great location! This apartment was centrally located in Boston. We came into town for a Celtics game and could walk to TD Garden! 4 Bedrooms was great for our group. We will definitely be back when we stay in Boston again!
Second time here. Easy to get to the places we wanted to go to. Very clean. Home manager very responsive.
Great space and location.
The apartment was ideal for a grown family staying together for a few days. Location is perfect, anything and everything you could need is within walking distance, and public transport access is on the doorstep. We took a cab from the airport, no longer than around 20 minutes away. The apartment itself has everything also, and was clean and spacious. Would recommend to anyone looking to travel into Boston.
Great space for a small group on a weekend trip to Boston. Place was a bit tucked away off main streets but not terribly difficult to find. Lobby was under construction but I imagine with time that concern goes away. Would absolutely reccomend!
This place was absolutely everything that we needed! Super clean, on a quiet road, and easy to get to! Definitely would recommend this to anyone! :)
Great place for large families. Well located but in the surroundings there are a lot of homeless that made not that good to walk
Terrific place right in the middle of downtown Boston, able to walk everywhere. Hosts very responsive. Only issues were with a light not staying on and a blown fuse in bathroom and maintenance came immediately on Christmas Eve day to fix these. Lots of space and loved being in the center of everything! No complaints!!
We had an amazing stay and would love to return. The location couldn’t be any better. Close to everything, right in the center. Everything was clean and modern. Just perfect for a stay in Boston. We loved this place!! And the hosts were wonderful!!
We were a party of 8. The apartment is very comfortable and conveniently located close to Boston's main sightseeing attractions. Our concerns were addressed fast and solved. The place was cleaned. I am giving it 4 starts because we had some issues with the stove. It was addressed promptly but it was scary. Also, some improvements can be made, like for example a soap holder in the showers, more utensils in the kitchen. Overall, I recommend this place.
Loved it! Amazing location in the center of the city yet quiet for sleeping. I would stay here again!
Beautiful location, lots of areas of interest within walking distance, and close to Logan airport. Very roomy, comfortable beds, and a nice area for us all to gather.
The apartment was convenient, spacious, and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was construction going on in the lower level, and some construction noise outside throughout the night. Otherwise, a great location that is close to a lot of great landmarks and restaurants.
Perfect location in the heart of Boston. We were able to walk everywhere. The place was spotless and exactly as described. The building is in a dead-end street, it was not easy to find on the first night, but we figured it out. There is construction on the ground floor, but it did not interfere with our stay. The appartment was surprinsingly quiet. We would come back for sure!
Great spot! Clean apartment and awesome location, walkable
Great place and location!
Fantastic apartment and hosts were very helpful. Very clean too! The only slight downside is the noise at night but this is simply due to this being a very central location, which I guess is similar in most big cities. I would recommend if visiting Boston though as it is really easy to get to everything from there.
The place was large and the kitchen and bedrooms were clean . Kitchen had bare minimum stuff . Bathrooms need updating and looked cheap . There was a construction area in the building and we were not told about this . I would not go back for what we paid we would have been better off in a hotel
Loved staying at the this apartment inside the city! Parking was easy to find and the location was extremely walkable to lots of Boston’s historic locations.
Very communicative hosts, everything was as expected. Would definitely recommend
Fantastic downtown location, walkable to the harbour and the North end. A short Uber to Fenway.
Nice property- building under renovation but still very nice. Will be awesome when completed
We loved staying in this apartment. Although the lower floors of the building are still under construction, once we were inside the apartment it did not matter at all. Clean, spacious, beautiful high ceilings and very comfortable couch and bed. The location was brilliant, close to Boston Common, shops, supermarket and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
Still some construction going on in the lobby but the apartment was clean and a great space! Easily walkable to so many restaurants and things to do. Check in was easy with the directions provided. I would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful stay at this beautiful place! Perfect location and very clean. Hosts were very responsive!
Location location location. As central as it gets. Building common areas are being repaired but it didn’t disturb our stay. Views are authentic and interesting but it’s not a big bonus. You want to be out and seeing the city. This is a great home base for a large group/family. More kitchenware and frequent cleanings of upholstery might up the rating for me. Along with the Reno’s being over. Parking is not convenient but that is the case generally near Boston Common. I would recommend. SMS
Was a great location however if not familiar with the area, be aware the main entrance is a dead end . Plenty of garage parking within a reasonable walk. Overall, the space was great- clean, organized and spacious.. We had a group of 6 adults with plenty of space for is without feeling crowded. Much better then a hotel alternative. We only stayed one night so I didn’t need to reach out much however when I did leading up to the stay with questions they were very responsive. And also provided detailed information for checkin, etc. I would definitely stay at their property again!
Beautiful place! Very clean, comfy, spacious, and perfect location! Great responsive hosts!
I would not recommend this to any guest who has certain requirements for sleep. Basically every room can be clearly heard late at night with decibels above 50. Of course if you're a good sleeper, that's a different story.
We were so excited when we walked in and saw the beautiful place. It was so clean and spacious and exceeded our expectations. This was a wonderful place for our group of Moms getting away to celebrate a birthday. The communication was incredible and it made everything so easy for us to enjoy our stay. We had everything we needed, including a sound machine!!! We will definitely be back!
My husband and I with our 3 kids (ages 10,8,5) were coming from Bay Area, CA and stayed here as apart of an East Coast tour and spent two nights in Boston, this being our first visit to Boston. The apartment was clean, plenty spacious, and had all the basic amenities. The building was not hard to find, however, with the one way streets, dead end street, and construction it was incredibly hard for us to unload our luggage. We were told to park and unload our things on Winter St. where there was easier access to an elevator but there are signs that state "Do Not Enter" so we didn't. In the end, it easier to just park on Hamilton and unload there. Later, we did see trucks go onto to Winter while unloading, so people don't seem to pay attention to these traffic signs. There were several homeless people just outside the building. The first floor of this building is a mess with construction with unfinished walls and floors at the time of our stay and lots of dust in elevators.
Everything was wonderful. They were very responsive and helpful. The only drawback was there wasn’t free parking as stated in the listing.
Our family of 8 really enjoyed staying at Brian and Heather’s place for a couple nights. It was just as described and you really can’t beat the location, which was only 15 minutes away from BOS airport and literally directly across the street from Boston Common. The unit has large windows for lots of light but it doesn’t face any other building’s windows, so great for privacy. While you could occasionally hear street noise from people out at night, we like being in the middle of all the action so didn’t mind it at all. We all slept well in the spacious bedrooms and cushiony beds. Brian and Heather were also nice enough to accommodate an early check-in for us which we were especially grateful for, given we had kids in tow. Would definitely rent it again.
Great location. Apartment was in pristine condition. There is currently construction on 1st floor, but the construction workers were very friendly!
Fabulous location and a great apartment. A great place for a family of 4-6 to hang out while seeing Boston!
Such a beautiful place to stay!
The space was very nice and the stay was good overall. However, the description of the place said parking available (on a first come first serve basis) but there is construction going on outside the apartment, leading to no parking available at all. My biggest complaint is what seems like an effort to get as much money from the stay as possible. For instance, check in is listed at 5:00 pm, which is ridiculous. Normal check in is typically somewhere around 2:00 pm for any hotel/air bnb with an early check in option of around 11:00. Instead, you are forced to pay 50 dollars to now check in at 2:00 pm. Additionally, almost every Airbnb has a cancelable policy but this one does not offer any cancelations at any point after booking. Lastly, check out is the same story with 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, for the extra charge. Brian and heather were very helpful with any questions I did have, however.
We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were great and very responsive. The apartment was extremely clean, spacious, and centrally located. I highly recommended staying here.
We know the Boston area very well after living in New England for many years. We came back for my son’s college graduation and stayed here for the weekend. The location is EXCELLENT for getting around the city since it’s pretty centrally located between the North End and China town. The apartment is VERY spacious and can accommodate a large group. Brian & Heather are incredibly responsive with every communication and made our stay seamless. I’d highly recommend this apartment.
Would love to had better curtains, in bedrooms. Way too much light if you want or need to rest
Great place to stay! Loved that it was walkable to almost everywhere we wanted to go downtown. Thanks so much for the quick communication as well!
Great stay!! Loved it!!
great stay and ample sleeping space. good for group business travel. close to everything near the commons
Beautiful, spacious, easy access to transportation and loved that a portion goes to helping others in need. We had a wonderful experience.
Great location for runners and families for the Boston Marathon. It was walking distance to the runner bus stop. Our runner friends were so jealous! There’s a large grocery store nearby where we were able to make perfect pre-race meals. Public transportation and wonderful restaurants nearby. While the cost is a bit pricey, we found this apartment was worth it for our family of 5!
Good as a base but not as cosy and well equipped as it should be. Noisy air conditioning vents outside, paper-thin walls, a bare minimum of bowls, cups and glasses. No wine glasses, very basic. Duvets and sheets are too small for the beds. The bedrooms have nothing more than the most basic furnishings. There was also not much attention to detail. The TV remote had dudd batteries and the replacements that came were also dudds - clearly taken out of another TVs remote in the same building. The whole place had a feel of a rather soulless management style. The lift didn’t work in the building for the last couple of days. Although the area near Boston Common is convenient, the immediate area in the alleyway outside is grungy and feels unsafe with homeless people sleeping in doorways. We were only 2 couples and a child in the 4 bedroom place. 2 of the beds are really too small for 2 people - so it’s not really suitable for the full capacity of 8.
This place was so nice and comfortable!! Everything was incredibly clean! The beds were very comfortable. We loved having 2 bathrooms and 4 separate rooms and beds for 2 nights with 4 girls. The location was wonderful! Right in downtown crossing. You can walk to JM Curley. So close. And the North End is not a far walk either. It really was the perfect accommodations and was exactly what we were looking for. We had a great time!
Our team had a fabulous stay at Brian + Heather's lovely apartment. We look forward to staying at their place again.
This was our second stay with Brian and Heather, and it was just as good as the first one! It's a great spot - very easy to walk to if you park in the Common Garage (under Boston Common). We also walked to the TD Garden and North End. The place is big and comfortably fit three couples. Hope to stay again!
What a perfect stay. The apartment is even nicer in person than it was in the photos and amazingly located! We felt instantly comfortable in all the space. So happy to have had the opportunity to stay here. Thank you so much Brian +Heather!!!
Wonderful location and plenty of space. Quick walks to Park Street and Downtown Crossing made seeing the city easy!
Great location, beautiful apartment, plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommend!
Great location by the park and the historic trail with so many sites. Great space as well.
everything was just right, fluid communication, the apartment pics are just LIKE reality. The área of the apartment Is ok, you can walk everywhere. For sure incan respeat.
Great place and wonderful location. Fun vibe with the visible brick.
We really enjoyed our stay here! We had 3 couples so had plenty of space and everything was really nice and neat! We didn’t spend too much time in the apartment because there was so much to do close by however when we were there it had everything we needed!
Perfect location 1/2 block from Boston Commons. Quiet (well, it is in a city, but nothing out of the ordinary). Very clean, large and perfect for our family get together.
Fantastic place to stay, great hosts!
The unit and the service both can only be described as excellent and professional. To start with the unit, it's located perfectly in the center of buzzing Boston. Bars and restaurants are literally only a few steps away, you're right next to the park, the subway is nearby and so are the shops. The unit is spacious and very tidy and was perfect for our group of five. The hosts Brian & Heather were amazing! Whenever we had a question, they'd usually reply instantly. And when we needed advice, they'd help us out with suggestions and directions. They're very friendly and professional and just very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend this host and their unit if you're looking to stay in Boston for a city trip, you simply can't go wrong!
Rented the apartment unit for a weekend with friends and parents while wedding dress shopping. It was perfect for our group of 8 and very spacious! Bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living area were all perfect. It was a little difficult to find for someone who is not familiar with Boston- Lyft will not accept the actual address as a pickup or drop off spot so it was hard to figure out the closed drop point for Lyft (which is a Lyft issue, not a Host or AirBnB issue, but might be helpful to know). It was walk-able and central to everything in Boston. Only disappointment was with the parking, I did not realize parking was not guaranteed and it had already filled up on our dates. So just be aware there may not be on-site parking available. Host was very responsive and offered recommendations for alternate parking arrangements. I did not drive, but I think my friends who did were able to find a nearby garage. All in all a great rental and host is SUPER responsive!
Really great spot, especially if you have a larger group you need to house (in our case, 4 colleagues traveling from out of state for a sort of work retreat with the company). Everyone had their own extremely comfy and well appointed, private rooms, plus two full bathrooms which were easily shared amongst the 4 of us. The kitchen and living space were also excellent (we made a team dinner together and had a great time!). The location is good, but if you know Boston, you know it can also be a tad sketchy so you just have to be alert. But that said - it's an excellent area, close to easy transit and walkable to many amazing things Boston has to offer! The apartment itself is down a dead-end street and we did find that there were some (harmless but nonetheless) sketchy folks hanging out right outside of the airbnb. So if you're traveling with others, recommend that you stay together and / or don't plan on coming back to the place alone late at night. Other than that, it's a great spot!
Great location and overall a good value if you're looking for a place near the Boston Commons and need multiple rooms - in my case, I was traveling with my baby and family members. The unit was very clean but bathrooms could use a new coat of paint and detailing (hole in ceiling and paint pealing). Check-in can also be better as 5:00 PM is quite late and not standard. Also, you're given instructions to thoroughly clean the place before checking out (remove all trash bags, load dishwasher, etc) - this doesn't jive with a $250 cleaning fee.
Beautiful spot in a very busy area. Large, well maintained, and clean apartment!
Fantastic location, clean and well-kept apartment. Our host was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. Definitely recommend!
Centrally located within a stones throw of the commons, short walk to the north ends Italian district, Quincy Market and most importantly, Starbucks. Very convenient.
Location was perfect. Easy to get in and out. Great space for multiple couples or families.
Great place, near the North end of Boston. Near to historic pubs and locations. Within walking distance to freedom trail and downtown market. Park station is across the street which has green and red lines.
Great location! Description is accurate and condo is spacious and comfortable. Only call out is that it was hard to double park and unload luggage as it appears to be an active loading dock - so be prepared to move fast!
fantastic location! Across the street from Boston Common, Freedom Trail starting location, T station, 15-20 minute walk to North End, etc! Apartment was spacious, clean, and great base to return at the end of the day. Hosts (Brian & Heather) were extremely responsive, organized and considerate of needed requests. Would highly recommend!
Great location, clean and comfortable space!
Great stay. Clean and organized instructions for check in. The beds were crazily comfortable.
A great spot in the middle of the city, shops, park, restaurants and theaters. Very very very clean. Comfortable. Well styled. I’ll be back.
Amazing location in the heart of Boston. Building and surrounding area has everything you need.
Very convenient location in the historic Commons next to the Public garden Excellent communication with Brian and Heather
We had a great stay. The location was spot on for us. Brian / Heather were very helpful and made sure we had a nice stay. Look forward to coming back and staying again.
Perfect stay in the heart of Boston. Communication was great and easy! Parking is very convenient.
It was great. No complaints. Great communication and easy entry and exit.
This was a great apartment! Plenty of room and great location. The owners were very helpful when we accidentally got locked out!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This apartment if clean, spacious and in a great location. Check-In was easy. would rent again
Amazing location a stone’s throw from Boston Commons and all the vibrancy and nightlife one can imagine in downtown Boston. Very well kept and spacious as well. Highly recommended!
Great convenient location and very spacious!
Lovely, clean, modern place in a great, central location. I stayed here with two colleagues -- we were in town for a business meeting -- and it worked really well for us. Conveniently located near everything and yet quiet enough for us to get a good night's rest. It is well-appointed but doesn't really have any of the "extra touches" you sometimes find in an airbnb. Which was absolutely fine for us for this particular trip.
Absolutely beautiful place to say and convenient to Beacon Hill!
Great stay, wonderful communication. Will be back!
Beautiful spot! Clean, huge, great location, would stay again.
Spent a long weekend in Boston at this property for a bachelor party and couldn't have been happier. The space itself was great, but the location was even better - you're right in the middle of everything Boston has to offer. Would definitely return if/when traveling to Boston with a large group!!!
Fabulous location and great for a family
Perfect location for sightseeing in Boston! Highly recommend Cafe Bonjour for breakfast.
Fantastic location and beautiful place!!. Just like presented. Can easily walk to shops and restaurants and historical sites . Subway is just outside the door. Great for family or friends. Lots of room!
Beautiful apartment that was very clean for our family stay in Boston with close proximity to many attractions. Our only negative was the neighborhood has many homeless people which had our kids feeling unsafe.
As group from CA in town for a wedding. Upon arrival the building was in an ideal location in the middle of everything Boston. The building was secure the staff was firm but fair about loud noises. The condo was cool and comfortable and very clean. Beds were really comfortable was probably my only concern. I slept like a rock. If you like firm pillows bring your own. Would recommend this place to anyone who is willing to pay for comfort.
This was the perfect place to gather for our girls night. We had friends traveling from the cape, NH, Maine and Tennessee so it was the ideal location. It was important that the condo was accessible and parking was right in front of the building which was great. Communication with Brian and Heather was excellent. I would stay here again.
Spacious BnB with comfortable beds, nice amenities and central location to everything! I’d recommend this spot to anyone visiting Boston!
Great location! Downtown Boston can be a bit stressful to stay at, but this apartment is tucked in a dead end street. So, it was private and relatively quiet. We appreciate that we had a designated parking spot, since parking in downtown Boston was a headache. The apartment is spacious and clean. Definitely would come back!
Brian and Heather are great hosts! Amazing place in the heart of Boston. Great location! Close to everything you need. We had a great family time and we will definitely come back.
Great location - great place - great value!! We will be back.
This was a wonderful stay and it was so easy communicating with the super gracious hosts! Everything went very smoothly and the apartment was the perfect accommodations for our family of 5 (with two in diapers). The conveniences of getting two pak n plays, easy accessible parking right in front of the building, and ramps/elevators for our double stroller were AMAZING!!! We hope to come back and stay again in the future!
Perfect location, and stay! We will be back.
Was a beutiful apartment, was very cleanly, and in a great location.
Nice apartment. Great hosts. Answered all our queries promptly.
Great place. Clean, modern, spacious unit. Check in was easy. Parking pass was worth the upgrade. Fantastic location. Walked to North End, then the Garden and back.
Beautiful space and the best location. I definitely recommend this place.
This place was spotless!! And the location was awesome!! You really can’t ask for better when it comes to location. We were traveling with three kids and the proximity to the park and the gardens was awesome. The Beds were comfortable as well. I was a bit disappointed to not find any wine glasses but overall would recommend for families
We stayed at Brian and Heather’s when we went to a show nearby. The location was perfect (steps from the T), lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Very comfortable and clean. Highly recommended!
Great location, great communication with the owner. I would highly recommend this place and would stay again if I ever get to go to Boston again. Thanks, Nadine
Great location, walking distance to most things and right by the T. It’s a cool apartment and good for a group!
Great location, great host and greater place to enjoy Boston. Almost everything of Boston was in walking distance. And they have reserved parking lots as well right in front of the building and you can pay and rent a parking pass $50/day. Loved this place and we want to rent this apartment again for my next trip to Boston.
Great place for our group trip. Unreal location and gracious hosts. Would definitely stay here again!
A wonderful space! Definitely recommend staying here if you are traveling with family or a large group. It was clean, comfortable, and located in a great area.
A fabulous apartment, perfect central location. Bright, light, spacious and well equipped. Very efficient checkin and informative hosts. I will be back. Thank you
A beautiful loft in a fantastic location! Was easily able to get to the North end and Fenway with no problem. Brian and Heather were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. Checkin was easy and again, the space was perfect for our 8 person stay in Boston. Highly recommend!
clean, excellent service, and perfect location
Awesome location, really spacious and nice spot. highly recommend!
Location was exceptional. Parking available was a huge plus. Top floor (5th) and was very quiet. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Loved the decor.
Communication was excellent through the process ,easy check in and nice clean space.
Beautiful home, great location, best hosts ever.
Fantastic stay. Booked this with 3 colleagues for a work trip and it was the perfect place. All rooms are equal in size. The pillows are so comfy and the beds too. Good communication and easy check in.
This location really can't be beat. An easy one-block walk to the subway, Boston Common and the Freedom Trail. If you're planning to stay in the city, there's absolutely no need for a car. The apartment was as pictured—clean with modern upgrades and plenty of character (those brick walls!). Though there is room for improvement. The couch was dreadful and some basic kitchen necessities were absent (e.g., cutting board, coffee filters) but there's a grocery store a short walk away. Unfortunately the microwave did not work upon our arrival and while Brian did his best to help rectify the situation, the issue was not resolved during the duration of our 4-night stay. All things considered, I would stay here again! The location was superb and it was lovely to have our family together vs. separated in hotel rooms.
Great hosts and accommodations
Clean house in a good location.
This place was absolutely gorgeous and in such a cool location! Our group loved it and I’d definitely stay again next time I’m in Boston! Communication was quick and helpful
Great spacious place in nice location to stay. Brian and Heather were extremely responsive
The location for this apartment is pretty hard to beat. It is right in the middle of so much in Boston and puts much of it within walking distance. We loved the look of the place, the exposed brick and the lay out.
Loved Brian & Heathers place. Would absolutely recommend staying
Great apartment, good beds, good shower. Very quick and precise communication with the hosts. I would stay again. Thank you
Location is amazing, so close to the Common and the set up inside is so cozy and accommodating for large groups (7-9 people). We loved it!
Reservation was exactly as listed. Will definitely stay again owners communicated promptly and answered all questions I had.
Great service- thank you!
Great location ! Very clean and spacious . Hosts were very nice and communication was great
Heather and Brian were fantastic! They were incredible in their communication and promptness with questions. this property is top-notch
Great place, clean, spacious, greta location, well kept. From my point of view, it exceeded expectations.
Such a great place and location!
Great location and a very beautiful apartment. Easy check in and check out!
This apartment was beautiful, spacious, and clean. And Brian and Heather were wonderful. Would highly recommend!
This was a very nice apartment. great location. living space is a little small. sleeps 8 but would be tight in the main living area. hosts were very responsive to our requests or issues. definitely would recommend
You cannot get a better location in Boston, especially if you are seeing a show or enjoying the Freedom Trail or Boston Common. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean, kitchen was great.
Great place. Awesome Location. Easy check in process. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others
Great location. The unit matched the description and our expectations perfectly. We found parking just around the corner and great access to all parts of the city from this location.
Clean and spacious. This place is conveniently located to Boston commons and very central to get to all of our favorite neighborhoods and restaurants. Secure building was easy to get in and we felt very safe. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
This Airbnb is located very close to many notorious Boston attractions. Great choice if coming into town with the family or a group. Parking is NOT included though there are city options around. I was a bit confused from the title at first. Many rooms with a sufficient amount of amenities, though I wouldn’t say it’s a “stay in” type of feel. Great for using as a launching pad.
Great location and great communication from hosts!
We really enjoyed our stay. A few suggestions: provide a few more towels, add a shelf in each shower for soap/shampoo, install hooks in the bathroom to hang items. We were disappointed that there was no TV provided (basic cable or tv). And the apartment had no internet the entire stay. And we paid $20 to store luggage before check in (the fee felt petty), and it was filthy and unsecured. Not an appropriate storage area. When we returned at check in, the room was left unlocked with our belongings inside. If you're going to charge a fee, there should be at least an acceptable storage area. The living room furniture was extremely uncomfortable. Beds were very comfortable. The apartment was very quiet. Charming. And great location!
Amazing host! Very friendly and thoughtful. Spacious cozy place, highly recommended:)
The apartment was in an amazing location. Easy to get all around the city by bus, train or walking. The beds were so comfortable and the decor was very chic. I will definitely try and book again the next time we’re in the city!!
Large, clean apartment in a great location across from Boston Commons! Would stay again!
My wife, friends, and I had a great stay here. It’s super clean and everything was just as described. Communication was on point too, they’re very quick at responding to messages. If I could give one piece of advice- purchase the parking spot if you’re driving in! We will definitely be back.
Beautiful condo, fantastic location with everything you could possibly want or need just steps away from the door. Brian and Heather were quick to respond with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Great apartment in the heart of Boston! This location is perfect for walking to almost everywhere you want to go downtown, access was easy but very secure so we were not at all concerned with our things in this busy area. Brian + Heather were very responsive to inquiries and sent all of the checkin information unprompted as promised. Very easy to book and work with. We would definitely stay there again.
Great central location. We went with 3 other couples. Unit was plenty spacious for the amount of time we spent in it. There were enough essentials in the unit that we didn’t have to go buy anything additional. We will be back!
Fantastic locations and space. It accommodated our guests perfectly and had everything we needed. It was much bigger than we expected. The space was clean, well kept and easy to check in/ out. I highly recommend staying here, we certainly will stay here again!
Great place to stay in downtown Boston
My sisters and I were in town for a night shopping for wedding dresses and we had a great stay! The beds and pillows were SO comfy. Amazing location. Brian and Heather were easy and quick to communicate with. Thank you!
Great location to downtown Boston! Super cute and roomy apartment. Would recommend if you are looking to stay in the heart of the city.
Great place. Quiet and clean. Great area of town.
Brian & Heather’s place was absolutely terrific. The location could not have been better; right across from Boston Commons and access to the train. Quick drives to many places around Boston. The apartment itself was beautiful. Each room had so much space and the beds were so comfortable. I would absolutely stay again!
AMAZING location if you’re wanting to explore the city. Great hosts and a wonderful spot.
Great spot in the middle of everything!
Beautiful place, fantastic location. All sparkling clean and comfortable beds. Great communication with host, too. Will definitely stay again on my next visit. Thank you!!
Good location close to the Boston Commons.
Going to Boston? Stay here! EXCELLENT location. Two Kings, two queens/fulls, two full baths. Lovely exposed brick. 15 minute walk to the North End. 15 minute walk to Newbury Street. Pay for the parking out front. Totally worth it. Go to the Beantown Pub for breakfast! Go to PRIMARK, around the corner. Google it! Heather and Brian were on top of every question that we had! Thank you!
The perfect stay for a bachelor party. Perfect size, great location and beautiful views that the whole party was impressed by. Definitely a weekend for the ages! Best location we could have asked for downtown!
Located in the heart of Boston, the location allowed us to really experience the city and explore on foot. The building was very secure with multiple door codes to get in and the apartment was beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hope to come back!
Sadly, this experience was terrible due to the owners complete lack of transparency. After receiving an email with instructions to enter the unit, I replied asking about the parking as we selected this property bc parking was mentioned as a selling point. I was informed that they "just found out" that the spots would not be available due to a concert. This was obviously an issue and when I mentioned to them that they didnt tell me about thus until i asked (2 hrs prior to our check in) I was met with a reply from them of "If you're going to use caps we can cancel your order and you can look elsewhere" (?!?!?) The fact that we called the venue (The Orpheum) and was told that they inform the owners of the units well in advance and the complete lack of any sort of compromise was mind blowing. I wouldn't recommend this unit or the owners to anyone as they are clearly concerned with the bottom line. To tell someone "we can cancel and you can look elsewhere " was an indication of that which is truly sad.
The location for this unit can not be beat! We loved being able to grab a coffee and stroll in the Public Gardens in the morning. The unit was easy to find and the check in process was a breeze. The unit was clean and well decorated. There was more than enough room for our group. I highly recommend renting from Brian and Heather!
Even better in person!
Great space for a multi-family get away, the location was so easy for walking and public transport. Our host were very responsive to our requests and resolved our issue of not having enough glasses and some cleaning concerns in a timely fashion. Great jumping off point for exploring the city!
The apartment has nice amenities and it’s easy to check in.
great place can't wait to go again right in the heart of Boston.
Great space in a great location. Super clean and up to date.
Great place , excellent location . House is very clean and host was awesome
As advertised. Greet location. Charming and clean space with lots of room. Highly recommend.
This place was fantastic. Clean. comfortable, big enough for several people. The location was fantastic and you had everything you could need from a travel stand point. Would return again.
The place is lovey and roomy. Lots of restaurants nearby, including a Starbucks out the back door.
Fantastic Airbnb in a great location. Clean and spacious for 8 people.
Great place and great location
This was our first Airbnb experience. 6 Hamilton Place is in a terrific location! We traveled with 5 teenaged grandchildren who could safely walk to Boston Commons (right across Tremont) during free times. It is very convenient to tourist spots and easy to Uber or take the T everywhere. The place looks exactly like the photos. It comes fully equipped but there is a 7 Eleven steps away and a grocery store around the corner. It is within easy walking distance of good restaurants. We had a couple of questions during our stay and our hosts were VERY quick to respond. Thanks Heather + Brian for making our stay about experiences not complaints! Oh - the mattresses were very comfortable even for this decrepit 75 year old! We all loved every minute of our stay.
Great hosts. Great space. Felt comfortable even with eight people. Note that the kitchen has all the pots, pans, and utensils you might need, but if you plan on cooking, you will need to bring your own basics like spices. Also note that the Roche Bros food store is about a block away and they have everything (the food store itself is in the basement of the building. Easy to miss when you walk by).
Our apartment was even more beautiful in person! Everyone loved it! The beds and blankets were super comfortable! All the amenities were great! I highly recommend getting a parking pass from the owners so you don’t have to worry about parking! The owners were AMAZING! They communicated very well with us and answered quickly when we had questions! I would highly recommend this apartment! Great location as well!
So, I'll start with the good----they had very timely communication and would always respond to questions. That was really appreciated. Also, the apartment is in a very central location--easy to get to and walkable to lots of places. We felt like the apartment was spacious. We also liked their digital entry systems both at the front of the building and to the apartment---it made us feel safe. The AC in the house works really well and that is a big deal to me---I like it cool. It was a nice touch to have an Amazon locker system--though we did not use it during our stay. Also, the evening security guard is a super nice guy and he even helped us with our luggage! That was an unexpected surprise and we appreciated him so much! He deserves a bonus for being so kind and friendly! We have stayed at numerous AirBNBs/VRBO and have only been absolutely blown away except for this stay. We were really disappointed that our apartment was clearly not staged for comfort. For example, we were staying for 4 nights and we only had one half roll of toilet paper in one bathroom and the other bathroom literally had about 10 squares of toilet paper left on it---with no toilet paper to be found anywhere---we searched the entire apartment. Also, the trash can was left without trash bags, also with none to be found. We were told that all these items were provided. There was also no laundry detergent to be found. Once we asked about these items, they directed us to a cabinet on the 4th floor and a code to get supplies. It just seems to us that they could have told us that information prior. They knew we were staying 4 days---you'd think they'd have known we would run out of items/not have the things we needed/things they said they would provide. Also, our kitchen floor was sticky and we had to clean it. The couch had numerous stains and tons of crumbs. One bed had very clearly brown stained sheets---not things you expect when we know that the previous guest paid $200 for cleaning. Short cuts all around. However, they did send in their cleaners the next day to steam clean the couch, but let's be honest...if cleaners are actually coming and doing a good job, the couch would not have been in that condition. Also, previous to arriving, I had asked about toiletries, and I was told that shampoo, conditioner, and body wash would be provided. Their version of that were very small hotel samples of a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner, and those small bars of soap you get at a hotel--not what they said---that is not body wash. When I sent them a message, saying that all we found were "crappy" hotel samples, and that it was "ridiculous" that there were no supplies in the home (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent), whoever answered me got extremely offended and said that I could not use that language and talk to their team that way. They also said they would only apologize for the condition of the couch if I apologized for my language---just very immature behavior for a company. They also said that I was a guest in their home and that we could cancel and leave if we wanted to---ha! Funny, considering they would just pocket our $2800. The WIFI also never worked in the home despite their troubleshooting instructions. We did just log onto the other apartment's WIFI without any trouble. I believe this entire building are their units. My advice to "Brian and Heather" would be to actually *think* about the things that can make a guest comfortable---adequate and correctly described supplies, directives before hand on how to get more needed supplies, and consider having extra bedding and towels available to your "guests". Also, when you make a big deal about how you need time to "clean and sanitize" before each guest arrives, then the apartment should actually be clean when your guests arrive. All of these things just made it feel like they were taking money-making shortcuts. I would, however, stay here again, with the knowledge that I had to bring my own supplies. Good Luck to Brian and Heather in creating a more comfortable "home" for your "guests."
Check-in: Unfortunately we provided the hosts an hour notice prior to check in time that the unit was still dirty from the prior guests. Despite asking for assurances that the unit would be ready by check-in time, the unit was not cleaned by check in time. Furthermore, the hosts only communicate indefinite statements that the cleaning crew would tend to it as soon as they could. After a 90 minute delayed check in, there was no offer to reduce the rate due to the inconvenience. Additionally, once the belated cleaning was performed, we again had to reach back out to the hosts as the cleaning crew didn't even leave pillows nor a duvet in one of the bedrooms. There was also a large stain in the corner of the couch from the previous occupants which the cleaning crew never addressed prior to us taking occupancy. Noise: During our stay, one night we woke up to a unit beneath us--loud music, stomping, singing, etc. It was clear the hosts were off site and unable to manage the situation personally in a timely manner. Also, its evident from looking at the wifi passwords/units in the building that the hosts manage multiple airbnbs in the same building. Accordingly, figuring out which unit was the cause was problematic for the hosts to manage. At first we received a message from the hosts speculating/insinuating our unit may be responsible for the noise at 12:30 am. We have an 11 month old infant so this was comical to be accused of this at best. Again, unfortunately the hosts made no commitments as to timeliness as to when the noise would be resolved--communication was merely that a security team would be sent at some time. The noise continued for three hours rendering sleep impossible until 3:30 am. Sparsely supplied: Despite paying for 6x guests over a 5 day stay, we were provided only one towel per person. Likewise there were only 8x tiny shampoo/conditioner toiletries provided for showering. The unit lacked any board games or even a deck of cards to amuse ourselves inside given it rained 5/5 days of our stay. The unit was not provided with any extra trash bags. Upon notifying the hosts of this on the second-to-last day of our stay and requesting them, no additional trash bags were ever delivered to our unit as represented. Additionally out of desperation, we bought our own toilet paper as the unit's only three rolls ran out on the same day. Given the lack of the trash bags ever showing up, we had no confidence some would ever arrive. Instead of action/an apology for the inconvenience, the insult to the injury was asking us for our toilet paper receipts to 'prove up' the expense. All in all, we booked it for the location. When it was all said and done, that's the only flattering thing I can report about the booking and experience.
Great location and stay! Super great with communication. Very clean. Spacious with great light! Will definitely stay here again.
This is a beautiful apartment. It had all hardwood floors, which I really appreciate in an air b n b, as it seems cleaner. The beds and bedding were comfortable and clean. This was almost a five for me but slipped to a 4 or 4.5 for a couple of reasons. The overall cleanliness (the couch and the bathrooms) was a little lacking. There was some hair on the floor in the bathrooms when we arrived that I had to clean up. Also, after a long day of air travel, we checked in to find there was no hand soap. It felt like an odd way to cut costs. I'm not sure if that is typical, or if they forgot. We used shampoo until we could go and buy some! Luckily, there is a lot nearby. It's a great location with food and stores within walking distance. We walked the freedom trail without needed to drive anywhere. There was someone in our reserved parking spot, which created problems for us for a couple of hours, but that isn't the fault of the hosts. Overall a great place to stay, especially in downtown Boston. Communication was great!
Great place and right outside Boston Commons!
Great stay across the street from Boston Commons! Brian + Heather were excellent hosts. The apartment was immaculately clean with updated furnishings and appliances. Great place to stay for a family vacation along the Freedom Trail.
Great place, clean and perfect for a large group traveling together!
This place was perfect! Great location near the T stood and historical landmarks. And big enough for kids to chill out in their rooms when they’re tired from all the Freedom Trail walking!
Great location and perfect space and apartment layout for our small family vacation in Boston. Walkable to many locations, historical sites, Beacon Hill and the commons. So awesome to have a parking spot right in front of the building making it really convenient for the one group that drive in. We had 7 people in this 4 bed 2 bath and it was perfect. Slightly more seating/living room furniture would be great for nights when we were all hanging out and playing games. Hosts were great- good communication and very easy self keyless check in. We will definitely be back next time we are in Boston.
Perfect location for all things Boston!
Well located , easy to get in. Very clean and comfortable . We went 7 people and really enjoyed Boston and this place.
It’s a beautiful apartment walking distance to everything.
Beautiful spacious condo in a perfect location to take in all the sites in Boston!
Great spot right of Boston Common and the T is right out the front entrance! Beautiful, comfortable space! extremely clean and immaculate with everything we needed for a great Boston getaway!
Absolutely gorgeous apartment, perfectly clean and exactly as pictured. The host was quick to respond and very accommodating. Location was close to all Boston has to offer, would definitely stay again!
We LOVED our stay! Perfect location right on the Boston common!
Apartment was very clean, in a great location, and check-in was awesome. Would definitely stay here again.
Great location in Boston. We walked to most activities and dining. If walking is not your thing, there are T stops right across the street. Heather and Brian are quick to respond. The apartment was clean, modern and as advertised. Their instructions for check in and check out made everything very easy.
Location was great and space was huge for my family of 4
Very spacious apartment, walking distance to everything. The appartement was very clean although certain repairs are needed (shower handle) and the kitchen lacked certain conveniences ( salt, pepper, dish clothes). We did request some pans and the host was very receptive in having some delivered to us. This appartement is right in the center of things so you will need to expect that there is a certain level of noise throughout the night. We were traveling with our two boys and did feel like the homelessness situation around the entrance of the apartment was more present than stated in the description.
To start with the positives, Brian + Heather were extremely gracious and responsive hosts who did their best to answer our complaints in a timely manner. This apartment is gorgeous, spacious, and located in an incredibly central location. Unfortunately, there were many aspects of our stay that made it less than desirable. To start, following booking we were met with many additional fees: $50 to check in early and $40/night for parking (which was not guaranteed and could not be confirmed until the day prior to our stay despite the listing saying parking available). We agreed to the charges for convenience, but were incredibly disappointed to find that despite paying extra to come to the apartment early, the apartment was not entirely clean. The surfaces of the kitchen were covered in dirt and grime, and urine was caked on to one of the toilets. Additionally, the apartment was missing soap, paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. While the hosts were responsive and able to get a cleaning crew over quickly, the crew did not clean and only dropped off the soaps/paper products in a bag on our door. We ended up going out to get cleaning supplies to finish the cleaning ourselves. We were extremely unhappy with this especially considering that we are in the middle of a global pandemic, and cleanliness is paramount. Additionally, Brian + Heather's continued insistence to send people to the apartment to address our concerns without coordinating times to ensure we were out of the apartment was extremely negligent - again, in the middle of a global pandemic, we wanted to limit our interactions with other people in a closed space like the apartment. In addition to issues with cleanliness, we found that the dishwasher was broken and the handles on one of the showers was missing, rendering it useless. Additionally, we could not properly adjust the thermostat such that we were freezing our first few nights. Finally, the remote to the TV was missing and we couldn't find it for over a day. While Brian + Heather sent over a maintenance team to help with the thermostat within 24 hours of our complaint, someone could not come to fix the dishwasher until day 4/5 of our stay. The shower remained unusable during our entire stay. This was frustrating to us, as we paid for an apartment with these amenities. Moreover, Brian + Heather's insistence on continuing to send people to the apartment was negligent, as described above. It was clear to us that no one had been to the apartment to ensure it was up to code before our stay began, which we found to be irresponsible especially given the amount charged for the stay.
Great stay! perfect location! Thank you for having us.
The unit was very spacious and stylish, felt a lot bigger than the pictures! It was quiet in the building, easy to check in and out, walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and parks!
Warm and cozy place in downtown Boston. Oh and the beds were really comfortable.
Great place and great communication with the host! Great location, clean and spacious stay!
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
