The Airbnb was as described! My sister and I enjoyed our time at this listing. The location was very central to our point of interests and we had an easy time walking/taking the T to places. I just wish we could check in earlier than 5pm but we were able to drop our bags off at a luggage storage place nearby since we got in so early. We would definitely stay here again if we ever decide to visit Boston again.

this was a fine place. Good for a place to crash. Very clean. No issues there. The building is under construction so the “lobby” is basically exposed wiring and empty rooms. The host was accommodating and the Airbnb is in a great location. We didn’t run into any problems. However, this was the most bare minimum Airbnb I have ever stayed in. There were no wine glasses, no coffee, no extra towels and no extra blankets. The entire space also felt very empty. There was construction on the main level when we walked in. For the price it was disappointing that the home was very minimal. Finally, check in is at 5pm and checkout was at 10am unless you pay extra, so it probably wouldn’t have been better to just stay at a hotel.
Great location! Right on the common & next to public transportation. Lobby was under construction while we were there. Rendered the elevator unusable for about half our stay. Couch in the picture is no longer the couch that's actually there. Late check in, early check out. Good communication from host.
The lobby was basically a hard-hat construction zone with exposed wires. The elevator was also shut down part of our stay. Checking out from 5th floor taking stairs was not ideal. Building also sits at end of an ally where I saw someone outside injecting something (heroin?). Inside the unit was nice, but lobby and building location (dead end street/ally) were a bummer
Great space in a great location. Clean with new furnishings. Near to the T Green and Red lines and in walkable distance to most Freedom Trail sites. Only minor quibble is nearby church bell that chimes on the quarter hour around the clock. Hosts are responsive, and check in/check out is seamless. Great condo!
The best thing about this unit is the prime location. You can’t get closer to the action than this. It is basically right along the freedom trail. Alleyway allowed us to pull in and unload bags before parking our vehicle in a nearby garage. Our unit was on the 5th floor. No problem with noise. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was super clean and spacious. The washing machine was a little musty, but most front loading machines tend to get that way over time. We ended up spending way more time in the unit than we wanted because the weather was atrocious. We would’ve appreciated more comfortable seating in front of the TV, but we normally would have been out walking around more if the weather cooperated. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone heading into Boston.

The apartment is in a great location next to the T line, Boston Commons, Downtown Crossing so easy to get everywhere if you in Boston for touring. The apartment is exactly as advertised and very clean (although construction being down on ground floor is a bit dirty - when it is done, it will be very nice). The flat had the just what you needed for four people. As the rest of the rooms in the building appear to be AirBnB rentals, it feels somewhat like a hotel. The only thing I was missing was a dining table for four. Otherwise, perfect!
Great location and clean home. Walls are thin and you can hear everything going on within the apartment. A relatively late check in time (5pm) for an early check out time (10pm) which was not an issue for me due to my flights but other guests in our party had to find a place to store their luggage before and after check out since it was not provided. There is a $50 fee if you wanted to check in earlier or check out later which didn’t sit right with me because if it is an option in the first place, why are you charging for the convenience.

Beautiful stay in absolutely central area. We loved being right in the city center with only a few minutes to subway stations. The apartment was absolutely clean, spacious and comfortable. The only thing that would’ve made it a bit easier would’ve been more essentials in kitchen equipment because we only had one pot to cook meals and a few very small pans. We made it work anyway and overall loved our stay. We’ll definitely come back.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three weeks while working at the Opera House. The apartment was very conveniently located and the neighborhood has lots to offer in terms of places to eat and things to do. It was clean and well maintained and the host was prompt with communication. I will mention that the walls are fairly thin, as we realized when a family with children stayed in the unit next to us for the last week. That aside it was a very comfortable stay!
Our stay was great, was a very last minute stop on our way home, we had a wonderful time. The apartment was clean, the host was very responsive and communicated very well with us.

Decent unit but bare bones. The linens were scarce. Only 1 hand towel for 4 people for 3 days. I had to ask for drinking glasses and they had them delivered the next day. The unit is not very well equipped but it was clean. The building itself is so so. There was construction in the lobby and the elevators were pretty dirty. It was not very homey for sure. The washer and dryer was convenient and the location was nice. Very short walk to Boston Commons. The thermostat was locked and we could not adjust it as we would have liked but the did have us look around for a space heater. We did not find one lol. It was just ok but I would probably not book again.
The appartment was clean and very confortable. Location is perfect, too. The only bad thing was that appartment was a bit could even though the heating system was working. We could not warm it enough. Maybe it is not thw best place for specially cold days.

My son and I had an easy time getting places with the Park St. subway stop only steps away and appreciated the convenience of purchasing a parking pass for right outside the building. The unit was spotless and we greatly enjoyed the variety in ice cube trays. Construction work in the building woke us up promptly at 7am.
Rented 2 apartments on the 5th floor. They were VERY clean & well appointed. The pocs answered questions quickly. Great location on a dead end very quiet street considering the location. Close to restaurants, shops, Boston Commons & train station entrances. There is a church around the corner that apparently feed the homeless, so there were people there all the time, which I know were a slight turn off for some of my friend but they never interfered with any of us. Will stay in the building again without hesitation.

Clear instructions on how to enter the building and unit. Amenities as listed. The only issue is that there is not a lot of sound-proofing in the unit, so can hear neighbors throughout the day.
This place was clean and really right in the middle of everything! Only complaint I have is that as a woman, something to note - the location wasn’t ideal because at night it was very dark and down a dead end but no other complaints!

Location is fantastic - central, convenient, walkable, across from boston commons, and the transit is right outside. I was at a conference while my boyfriend worked here remotely and he easily ventured out to explore. We stayed somewhere else the next 3 days, and we missed this airbnb's superior location and convenient unit. On the edge of downtown, so you encounter a fair amount of nighttime 'wanderers'. The airbnb itself is cozy, homey, spacious - it looks exactly like the photos (couch was so comfortable) - but the building is old (which is to be expected) so just know that comes with paper thin walls, dirty/unkept hallways, and a slow and filthy elevator. The building was under construction on lower floors, but we never heard it. Any 'negatives' were at no fault to the host and aren't uncommon for a City - plus they're easy to overlook because once you're in the unit it's quite nice and the location is so great. The hosts are incredibly informative and responsive. Would stay again!
Location is what makes this rating higher. You are 100 percent able to walk to almost everything Boston has to offer. If you’re looking for amenities, they are minimal. We also were frustrated that the inability to purchase the parking pass due to construction was not communicated prior to two hours before check in, as this may have deterred us from this location as we had an infant and it was not great weather. Overall, we were happy but found some of the communication inconsiderate for the rate. Construction and loud guests could be frustrating for some.

We enjoyed our time here in central Boston, visiting historical sights with our 10 year old son. The apartment is close to multiple subway lines, walking distance to the "Freedom Trail", the Commons and other sights, while still being somewhat secluded and quiet. The apartment was a little dark, being on an air shaft, and there wasn't a lot of dining space, but we were able to cook for three at least one night. There were also some electrical problems, which meant the washing machine was out of commission when we tried to use it Tuesday night. The manager was very responsive to our messages, but it did take a couple days to get fixed, so we weren't able to use it until Thursday. We would certainly stay there again!

Easy check-in and the apartment is sufficient. The host allowed two men to enter the apartment during my stay to fix an electrical issue. They never confirmed or communicated with me that anyone was coming to the apartment. Early in the morning the men let themselves in by using the key code (which wasn’t changed between guests) while I was still in bed. I paid to stay in a safe airbnb and an extra $50 for a late check-out at 1pm. I left early because I did not feel safe.
Great communication and ideal location. Only unfortunate part was the washer wasn’t working and we couldn’t get it operational. Other than that the place was terrific!
There were a few electrical issues in the unit. The microwave kept on tripping the circuit breaker when we tried to heat something up. Eventually we were provided a countertop microwave. Additionally, the circuit breaker for the clothes washer was confusing to re-set. If the clothes washer isn't receiving power, make sure you ask for instructions to re-set the breaker. Outside of the electrical issues, everything was great.
While the apartment itself was spacious, well presented and in a great location we experienced multiple problems with the power in the apartment that were never investigated or addressed by the property managers. On arriving at the apartment we noticed that the power outlets in the kitchen were not working. Later that night we lost those in the living area including the WiFi and television. The following morning we lost the refrigerator, and that night the washing machine. While I recognise that sometimes things will go wrong in the place you are staying, but as a paying customer you expect someone will try and fix them. Despite repeated assurances over 4 days that someone would come to look at the issues, this never happened before we left. This is the worst maintenance service that I have received in any place I have stayed anywhere in the world.

This ended up being the perfect place for my friends & I on our trip to Boston! Located just across the street from Boston Commons, it ended up being extremely convenient, with easy walking access to restaurants, the Freedom Trail, and a Subway station extremely close as well. The flat was clean, had plenty of towels/pillows/linens, it matched the pictures & description perfectly, and it was easy for us to get in & out of the building as needed. The location's policies were perfectly reasonable, the rates were competitive with similar options around the city, and we didn't have any problems at all during our stay. In short, this Airbnb was exactly what we needed for a long weekend trip to Boston, and I know where we will be booking if we get a chance to go back!
This is the perfect apartment at the middle of the city. Boston common and Newbury shopping Street are in walkable area. We were there for the commencement at Tufts University and subway station is very closed to the building. The apartment is very clean and there is elevator. One small thing, there is clock ding from the church nearby that might disturb sleeping.

Beware though,if you need to move your reservation for a different day,it’s not going to happen,I was advised to cancel and rebook(loose all the money from the initial booking) and spend them again..which I couldn’t do for obvious reasons.

Apt was spacious, modern, clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. It’s on a quiet dead-end street. The only “noise” I heard was gentle church bells in the morning. I did not even hear any street noise or sirens. Minor cons: - shower has no shelves or any place to put shampoo / soap - no coffee, salt, pepper or any kind other spices or condiments - the refrigerator broke during our visit (just bad luck) Everything else was great!

Heather and Brian were extremely responsive and their place was a great home base for my mother, my teenagers and I as we explored all Boston had to offer. Right off of Boston Common, you're in the middle of the shopping district, a short walk to Chinatown and across from Beacon Hill, Park Street Church and Granary Burial Grounds. I could not have hoped for a better location to walk & explore the Freedom Trail. When I come back to Boston, I will definitely be booking this apartment again. Just as a side note, you can enter the building from Hamilton Place or Winter St using the same code. This made grocery shopping and navigating a lot easier and was a great little surprise! We had a great time visiting Boston. Heather and Brian's place was easy to find with clear directions for accessing the apartment and it was close to the theater. We were able to walk from there to the North End for dinner and back to South Station the next day. The space is lovely and clean. Good restaurants nearby. Very comfortable for 2 couples. The space was quiet. We could not find a stairway, helpful for those bothered by elevators. Otherwise, great location and lovely space.

The apartment itself is great. It is a few meters away from Park Street T station. I stayed there during winter and it was very convenient to have access to the T station and not to walk too much outside in the cold. I was visiting Tufts - Medford campus and there is a 30-minute commute via the new Green T line that goes all the way to Tufts. Beware that the location is in a dead end street and felt a little bit unsafe for a woman arriving at night.

This was a great space. Very clean, comfortable and convenient location. Heather and Brian were very responsive and accommodating to requests.
The booking didn't mention that all of the windows in the apt look onto a window well. There was plenty of space and the rooms were fairly clean, but definitely not spotless. The couch was heavily stained and the glass coffee table had been badly repaired with tape. The refrigerator was not working, though Brian was able to get maintenance to come fix it the next day. It's hard to get in the front door because the couch is large and blocks the entry way. I would recommend replacing it with a regular size couch, upgrading towels and lamps, fix coffee table, and do a deeper clean of the bathroom and bedrooms (eg wipe down walls). Thank you for being responsive regarding the refrigerator problem.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Located in a great location, and is walking distance to many attractions. We stayed here with our 18 month old, and it was well suited for a toddler. Heather and Brian were very fast to respond to messaging and made the stay run smoothly. If you are a light sleeper, consider bringing a sound machine or ear plugs, just because you are in a building with other people nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
We actually live in Boston, but stayed overnight while we were checking in on a renovation project at our house. Thus, we new knew what to expect of the area near the Boston Common and Downtown Crossing -- it's an urban neighborhood with Suffolk University students, professionals, and shoppers. The unit was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. We did have a problem with the WiFi router not working, but the hosts were very responsive and their tech support texted us directly for a work-around. Hotels in Boston can be very expensive, so this is a good alternative.
Great location though not a good area just outside the door. Pretty much updated, relatively quiet for being in town. Would consider staying there again.

We are return guests. Brian was very quick to respond to concerns. Our AC wasn't working so we got it fixed the next morning. The conrad is really well located so it made moving our daughter in a lot easier. The elevators weren't working so we took the service elevator./ and stairs. The lobby needs some tlc but we will be back. Overall a great stay.

Good first: Location, incredibly convenient, close to metro, no exposure to noisy street, rooms quiet for sleeping. The apartment is clean* (with one major exception), the washer and dryer work great and the owners give access to extra pods and towels, which we greatly appreciated. The bad: we arrived late in the evening from the airport after flying cross country and discovered the elevators (two banks of elevators) were broken. No one communicated that to us, except the security guard at the card table in the lobby. Owners knew this but did not communicate it to us before we arrived. We likely would have just gone to a hotel from the beginning if we had known. The owners were aware of the breakdown as they have several units in the building. They said they would keep us informed on status of repairs, they did not. There were no signs on the elevators. We arrived on Saturday and elevators were not repaired until Tuesday evening. We thought they were fixed one day and used it to go downstairs. It was terrifying and the elevator stopped between floors and we had to climb up and out . There was also no notice when the elevator was finally repaired, again the security guard informed us. It did not seem like an unusual occurrence to have the elevators broken, if you have any mobility issues this probably isn’t the place for you. Walking up four flights of stairs in 95 degree heat was bad, but what made it the worst was the stench of urine in the stairwells. It was so strong you could not do it without gagging. Truly, gagging. The couch was disgusting. (The rest of the apartment was very clean.) The couch has crusty stains and dust and just generally was so gross we didn’t want to sit on it. The owners offered to have their cleaners come and steam clean it, but made no actual attempt at arranging a time to do it and it was not done. We asked for a couple of flat sheets to just cover the couch which the owners said would be delivered to the apartment, that never happened either. We used towels and averted our eyes. Halfway through the trip the fridge breaker tripped and all of our food spoiled. Also, there is no place to put luggage except one small rack. No drawers, bureaus or tables. Lots of hangers provided though. When we arrived we went out and got food and brought it back to eat and discovered only two forks. There were 3 of us. We asked for more flatware to be provided. The owners said it would be, it never was. There are several short term rentals in the building. There was a family with 5-6 small children next door, you could hear every step they made and all the shrieks. I didn’t mind but my husband got tired of it. All in all, a mixed bag. Really the location is great and the place was clean and convenient. But the negatives were very frustrating. Great location in Boston. Perfect layout for a family of four. The washer and dryer came in handy after a week of visiting colleges in the area during a heat wave.

Great space & awesome location. Gave it a 4 star on a few things because the elevator at this space doesn't work - there are 3 and 2 of them didn't work the whole time we were there and you had to wait for the 3rd one forever. We ended up using the stairs which smells of urine. Another note: Brian & Heather do everything by the book (no exceptions), so be sure to read all their policies in detail before you press that confirm button. I mistakenly confirmed a 1 day reservation, realized I made an error, contacted them a minute after and they would not refund my money. Seems pretty harsh to me.

Besides having to keep a couple of codes straight, this property is right in the middle of a very exciting area with tons to do. Make sure to get a parking spot in front of the building to make your life way easier! The apartment itself was very clean, and we loved the style.

Excellent location. We were here for 5 college tours & a Bruins game, and all of them were easily accessible via the T stop That was located at the end of our street. Place was clean and well stocked. Having the washer & dryer was very nice. We would stay here again!’
Everything about stay was perfect from the clear description and pricing in the booking, to the keyless check in instructions, the perfectly clean and comfortable rooms, the location right next to the Orpheum downtown and the super easy checkout. We only stayed for one night but we had all we needed, we really loved the place and we cannot thank our hosts enough. This was so much better and roomier than the nearby hotels and we highly recommend this location and these hosts.

Excellent private apartment steps from Boston Common. It’s also steps from the subway. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable. Because it’s tucked away on Hamilton Pl there’s no vehicle or pedestrian traffic in front of then entrance doors, which added to our feeling of security. Communication with the hosts was clear, timely and helpful. For a visit to see the sites of downtown Boston I recommend this apartment.
Our family of four really enjoyed this place. The apartment itself is clean and well outfitted, and is a great size for a downtown apartment. We felt like we could actually spread out and relax a little. The location was absolutely perfect, just steps away from Boston Common and the Green and Red line metro stations. You can hear the apartments next to you fairly clearly, but this is nothing new to city apartments like this. It was a minimal distraction. Aside from this, I don't know that we could have picked a better apartment for us. Great communication from the hosts, with clear instructions on the easy check in and check out process. Would absolutely book this place again.

This is a great location for exploring Boston by T. It is a company running it not an individual so keep that in mind. They do have late/early check in and luggage storage but for a fee. (Normal check out time is 10am which is earlier than many properties and hotels). The property has a coffee maker but no coffee. (There are plenty of places to get coffee around the area). We pretty much used the property to sleep and thats it! We would consider staying here again.

This is located in the perfect area to explore the city. Easily walk to many historical sites… right across the street from the Granary Burying Grounds and the start to the Freedom Trail. My daughter and I had. blast exploring the city by foot and the occasional Uber ride. I would highly recommend this location. The apartment is perfect and has everything you need. The street is quiet . There is a little building noise but it is easily drown out with ear plugs at night. Great value for the location and accommodations .
Great location, Great apartment with high ceilings. Washer and dryer were great to have especially when staying for 4 days. Only downfall was the couch being stained ,dirty and smelly. area rug was also in bad shape. would be a 5 star place with a new couch and area rug

Some refurbishment urgently needed. Sofas, carpets and beds are just sufficient. Time and many renters left an ugly legacy at the apartment. Profesional communication with tenant corporate reps leave no space to what Airbnb used to be. Asked for two tall chairs to dine in (just two were provided for a two bedroom apartment) and answer was simply not available. Poor response and worse offer. Conveniently located, it’s a 3 and half star hotel with a reasonable space and old nice pictures. Missing spoons, forks, glasses or pans and generally anything but the really very basics. Not cozy, not expensive, like a ham sandwich. It works fine for anything and remarkably well for nothing.

The locations was perfectly situated within downtown Boston, across from the Commons. The place was clean and accommodating, although it was lacking in any food preparation tools. It was def built in mind assuming people were always going to eat out.

The place is as described! Checking-in was a breeze and all the instructions were clear and concise. It’s located in the middle of Boston and was a stone throw away from everything. The rooms were clean and the basic amenities were provided: shampoo, towels, hot water boiler etc. there is a washer/dryer in unit so if you’re there for more than 1-2 days, it’s great!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Do I admit I made a reservation using a non-refundable rate? Yes. Did I contact the Hosts exactly 24 hrs later requesting cancellation due to an unexpected conflict? Yes. Was there 2 weeks until my expected check-in, giving them enough time to book another guest? Yes. As an individual AirBnb SuperHost (not a Company) with a few hundred reviews, I have personal experience with the flexibility offered to Hosts and have given plenty of full refunds with shorter notice. Life happens; having empathy is important. However, this greedy Company refused to send a refund. Instead, they offered me a voucher only if I cancelled and they were able to rebook, meaning they would have been double paid for the same dates. If they didn't rebook, no voucher would be given. In order to share my experience with the amazing AirBnb community, I made the decision to not cancel the reservation, forfeiting the $135 refund for Cleaning Fee (Pricey!). In addition, if anyone reading this is planning to come to Dallas, reference this review in your booking with me and I will refund you $50 of your reservation (limited to 5). Also, for any potential Guest, note that in their fine print of House Rules, Check-In time is 5pm and Check-Out time is 10am. A change to either is additional $50 each. Earliest Check-In is 2pm and latest Check-Out is 1pm.
Great location and cozy apartment
Central location in Boston near the Orange and Red lines which is very convenient. The place has nice high ceilings and very quiet (despite being in the heart of Boston). The place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and overall more living space than you would get at a hotel.

The location is great and the unit itself is nicely updated. The unit smelled very strongly of marijuana smoke when we arrived (like someone had JUST smoked in it) and the hosts simply suggested we open the windows - no apology or offer for compensation even when prompted. The smell took days of open windows to fade. Couch and rug are worn and could use replacement.

The location was the best part. I was in Boston for the marathon and the location of the rental in relation to the events of the marathon was perfect. It was such an easy walk across Boston Common to get to the finish line and the Expo. After the race finished I had a pleasant walk back to the rental to get ready for the afternoon. The access to the T was spot on for when we wanted to venture outside of walking distance, or if I just need to take a break from walking. Super accessible to the harbor, North End, and as previously mentioned all the events of the Boston Marathon. Super comfy and cozy beds. LOVED the Nest Thermostat! There was an event at the end of the block and I could not hear any of the outside noise at all. Very pleased with this rental property! Would definitely rent here again when we are back in April.

Brian + Heather provided excellent accommodations. The unit was immaculately clean and came with up-to-date appliances. The interior design was welcoming and modern. The location is close to several restaurants, parks, and historic locations. Additionally, the Boston Commuter Rail is a mere one block away. I highly recommend staying here if it is your first time to Boston and you want to take in the sights and experience the city to its fullest!
The location and and space are hard to beat for a trip to Boston! My family loved our stay here and being in such a convenient location in the middle of downtown Boston. The place itself was clean and it was great having a washer/dryer to use during our stay. The beds are comfortable and the place has all basic amenities that you need. Definitely recommend this place and would stay here again!
Great location for exploring Boston on foot. The condo is well designed and very comfortable. The kitchen was not stocked in the same fashion as most VRBO homes. Only coffee for 2 days and of course, salt andd pepper. Nothing else. 7-11 is next door so I got sugar and tea. It was not worth cooking anything because there were no spices or oils in the cabinets and it was not worth buying them all for 3 nights. I could not make iced tea or any other mixed drink because there were no large glasses or pitchers. If I was there for a week I would have stocked their kitchen for them.
Location, location, location! This is in walking distance or a short train ride to so many great restaurants, bars, historical sights and so much more! The building is located in the mix of the city life so expect to see some homelessness. However, that didn’t affect my trip at all. Also, parking can be very expensive, so make sure to budget a couple hundred dollars for that. This is a great place to stay if you want to explore the great town of Boston! I would 100% recommend anyone to stay and I’ll most likely be back in the winter months. Thank you Heather and Brian!
This apartment was well situated to area attractions we wanted to see: Boston Common; Faneuil Hall, Little Italy. It was clean, the unit itself was secure and safe, the appliances were newer. There were nice touches we didn't normally think about when renting a kitchen unit: Salt, pepper, extra garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, handwashing dish detergent and sponge, shampoo and plenty of towels were all provided. Check was easy and the instructions were clear. If we ever found ourselves in Boston, we would rent here again.

Great location on the Common and the apartment was clean with a good size kitchen. The apartment is modern and well kept. The building itself is a little run down and appears to have a lot of Airbnb apartments in it with people coming and going a lot who were friendly. The only real downside was that Boston Common has a small but visible rough element hanging around.
Could’ve used more towels, but other than that, it was a wonderful place to say! The location is amazing and something you will not find anywhere else on Airbnb. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
