We absolutely loved our stay with Healing Homes! Not only was the space everything we were looking for and more, but their mission made us love it even more! 100% recommend staying here.
The location is very central in Boston, but just outside the hustle and bustle, so it’s nice and quiet at night. The check in system was very clever and easy to work out. The apartment was spacious and was air conditioned. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well there. We also felt the pricing was fair, that is definitely an encouragement for us to book again with Healing Homes. A wonderful stay in a very beautiful and fun city.
Had a great time in Boston and the apartment was in a great location. Easy to get to and from and centrally located. Would definitely stay here again.
the Team at Healing Homes is very responsive and helpful. the actual condo was clean and centrally located. we really enjoyed ourselves. I would return to this place at next Boston visit. thank you.
Great location and walkable to so many things in Boston!
We spend a couple of days in Boston to do some sightseeing with the family. The space was nice overall. It is, however, very noisy. The way that the building has been built out kept the character of the space (exposed bricks and such) but did not seem to consider soundproofing in the process. At times, it felt like groups in other rooms we in the same space as us, given we could easily hear individual conversations.
Very clean and comfortable place to stay in the heart of Downtown Boston! Not a lot of cookware so I don’t recommend cooking your own meals with this place but if you just need a home base for exploring the city, this is a great spot.
The location is very close to the Freedom Trail, so it worked out well for us. It's practically across the street from Park Street Church and the Boston Commons. It's also very close to the subway, so if you plan to take public transportation it's very convenient. It wasn't too far from a good-sized supermarket where we bought some groceries, prepared meals, etc. The place was very clean and was accurate for the description. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all of the pots, utensils, etc that we needed. The hosts were quick to respond which we appreciated. I also loved that they didn't have a long list of chores to do upon checkout. It was really nice not having to stress about stripping beds, etc. when we packed up to leave. I do want to mention that there are a lot of homeless around the subway entrance area. It made me a little uncomfortable and I probably would prefer to stay in a different section of Boston next time because of this.
Great central location downtown and comfortable for our family of 4. For those unfamiliar with the city, the area doesn't feel super safe for young children at night but would depend on your comfort level with that type of thing. We made it work. We found the beds comfortable enough and the kitchen and living area to be nice. All very clean and good communication from hosts. There is a lot of noise in this area, so the white noise machines were a nice touch although we didn't find them until we were leaving. Look in the dresser!
Great spot. Perfect for getting around the area on foot.
Great spot. Perfect for getting around the area on foot.
Good place to stay for a couple of days.
Great location. A lot of shopping and restaurants in walking distance.
Very spacious clean apartment close to Boston Common, Chinatown etc. Great location
Centrally located with easy access to stores, restaurants, and subway. Very clean and modern interior. Central air conditioner. Kitchen well equipped. Have stayed here more than once and will return.
Location is great, and the team is responsive. The place itself needs a bit of care - old paint job, no shelf in the shower or vent in the bathroom. The most frustrating thing was the noise - the walls are really thin, and it felt like people were running around above us. Things did settle down a bit during sleeping hours thank goodness.
Clean and true to the pictures
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was walking distance to many of the attractions we wanted to visit we walked to Newbury St, Quincy Market, and even the North End for Dinner. The T station was practically right outside the doorsteps which was great for visiting Fenway and other locations a bit further. The place itself was adorable, clean and comfortable. We had no trouble at all and would certainly revisit next time!
Very responsive host, great location, and lovely place!
I had a fantastic stay near Boston Commons! The location was perfect, offering easy access to the park and many of the city's attractions. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and a pleasure to communicate with, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Boston.
The price is what makes this a great deal. Location overall very convenient to everything. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. However, the proximity to the Boston Common creates an issue with the homeless population. This is most acute at the Hamilton entrance, which is used as a resting place. We used the Winter entrance almost exclusively. The building itself is also undergoing interior construction, but no workers were present over the weekend. The apartment could also be a little more soundproof.
The apartment is as described, a lot of space. Very good location, easy to access. We cannot expect more than that.
Great location near the park.
Not the greatest, but a good location if you want to walk around famous parts of Boston. There are definitely strung out people in front of the building. One pissed right in front of the door with trash all around and another was masturbating. The management said there’s nothing they can do about that & I think then you shouldn’t be renting this on Airbnb then. If this is a non-profit, you should focus on that & not expecting people to rent out these kinds of places to help cover the cost for others who can’t afford to stay for the sake of family being in the hospital. That is what grants are for. The door was very hard to open & it takes quite a few times, that I would be concerned if we felt we were in danger. The place did not seem all that comfortable, but luckily it was only for one night.

Amazing spot! So clean and close to everything downtown!
The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. It was exactly what we were looking for!
Great apt. - very comfortable and very clean -looks just like the pictures. Wonderful location to the T and everything in downtown Boston, super walkable. There is construction in the building...could be a bit loud some mornings but wasn't too disruptive. Would definitely stay here again!
Easy check in Clean place Good walking distance to commons park, shops, and subway was right outside fast and easy communication from hosts
Just thought we should have been told that the lobby was under construction. But once you are past the lobby the unit is really comfortable and very nice. I would definitely stay there again.
Great location and very cool space.
Great Place to stay very seamless and awesome support from the team servicing the apartment.
The 2 bedroom apartment wasn't bad itself. I will say that in the photos it makes it look like there's a lot of sunlight that comes into the bedrooms and that's just not the case AT ALL. Very very dark. The walls are extremely thin so you hear every single noise from either outside or the surrounding apartments. When they say there's some construction going on...I feel like that was a complete understatement. The entire first level is coming a construction zone where you should be wearing hard hats and masks because of all the dust. Saturday at 5AM the fire alarm starting going off multiple times because the construction guys were downstairs painting. The exterior and surrounding streets I felt VERY unsafe and I live in New York City. The multiple blocks around the apartment are littered with meth heads, cracks heads and the homeless. I don't think I've ever felt so unsafe walking around both in the daylight and nighttime.
Good stay! the building entrance is under construction, and right next to the theater. so it was fine on a weeknight if a bit sketchy to figure out how to get in. otherwise, everything was exactly as listed
Great place! Great host
We will definitely rent this wonderful apartment again. Perfect location and size for a family of three.
Fantastic place steps from the Common, would definitely come back!
My friends and I loved our weekend away in Boston! This was the perfect place for us to come home to after our days of exploring and eating through the city. If we are ever back in Boston, we will be seeking out this lovely space again!
Great location! Spacious, clean. Would definitely stay here again. Host very responsive and accommodating.
Convenient to the theatre district and perfect location for any Emerson families. If you plan on eating out during your stay this place will work well, but if you need to cook meals, the kitchen materials are super basic. Everything was clean and spacious for a two bedroom.
really nice place, very centrally located
Highly recommend for a trip to Boston. Spacious clean and very responsive hosts. Right in the middle of the city so everything is accessible. Well furnished even for longer stays would be good.
great place to stay
Everything was great
We had a lovely time! Walkable to train station, Freedom trail, and Boston Common. Would definitely stay again!
Really cozy apartment conveniently located near lots of food and shopping. Walkable area but also easy to Uber to any location in the city. Very unique, loved the brick in the living room. Lots of character. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom and shower was spacious. Would recommend.
This place is very nice- very clean; spacious. The location is fantastic- very close to the T stop, Boston Common and downtown. Great value for the price. Some things to be aware of: The lobby is a complete construction site; the construction noise did begin at 8:00 am; there is very little provided in the unit (no tissues/coffee or anything (there was toilet paper); the walls are very thin- we could hear our neighbors until very late in the night/early morning (bring ear plugs).
Great spot in walkable Boston! Space was clean and neat. it had everything you might need for an extended stay.
Thank you! Was great! Can’t wait to be back
A few items to mention: A) The noise from the surrounding rooms (people walking on the floor) was louder than one would normally expect B) There was no dresser for guests to place their clothes in one of the bedrooms C) There was no dish washer soap D) There is no soap dish/place for shampoo in the shower. E) The coffee filters for the coffee pot were not the correct size F) The entrance way is under construction and there were several trip hazards there.
We really enjoyed our stay in this AirBnB! The location was great, we liked the atmosphere in the apartment, the host responded quickly, and everything was clean and tidy. The only thing missing was a decent dinner table with chairs and some more towels.
The Healing Homes apartment itself was beautiful! Nice decor, super clean, tons of space, and nice big windows. The unit is in The Conrad, the last building on the right down Hamilton Place (just before Orpheum Theater). The entire first floor was under construction, and there was lots of construction outside during our stay (jackhammers before 7am, going for most of the day). I'm sure this is temporary, but just note that the neighborhood can be noisy. We arrived with our toddler at night, and there was trash on the street and sidewalks and folks yelling loudly at each other. This is not Healing Homes' fault, but I personally would not stay here again with young children, as the immediate area didn't feel safe, even during the day. I am aware this is typical for a city; just trying to provide helpful information for future guests with families! This unit would be great for a couple or group of friends though :) PS: Bring your own ground coffee, oil, and spices! (Nov 2023)
Perfect location right across from Boston Common. 15-20 minute walk to North End. Property was very nice! Worth noting that construction was happening-- loud jackhammering around 7am so if you are not an early riser, something to keep in mind. Hosts were very friendly with open line of communication.
We are a family of 4 with little toddlers. It has everything for us. Few minutes walk to T stations helped and made it so convenient. Spacious. Some noises as expected being so central - all manageable. Overall wonderful stay!!
The apartment was spacious and clean, an excellent value for the location. The Conrad is currently being remodeled, and I am excited to see it come together. I will definitely stay here again.
Review: We stayed here for an annual girls weekend. This place served its purpose for a group who spent most of their time away from the Airbnb, exploring the city - great location in the hustle and bustle of Boston, very clean, and looks just like the pictures. With that being said… this place does the absolute bare minimum, but will nickel and dime you for just about anything. Coffee machines but no coffee, dishwasher but no washing pods, etc. $60 for parking when just about every other garage a block away is $40. Make sure to read the additional rules before booking - there is a ton. The walls are paper thin which wasn’t an issue for us but if you plan on sleeping in or working, this isn’t the place for you. Again, it’s clean and great location but essentially a money grab for what it is/offers.
Stayed in this property over Halloween 2023. The purpose of our stay was to visit the Universities in the area. The location was perfect and central to all our planned visits. Park Street T Station is approx. 2-3 min walk from the apartment and gives you access to the red, green, orange and some silver line routes. Being right on Boston Common gives the added benefit of peaceful and relaxing area to enjoy during the day and the numerous restaurants, cafes and bars within a short walk makes it easy to find somewhere to eat for most budgets and tastes. An added bonus is having a Roche Bros Supermarket within a 5 minute walk, allowing further options for everyday necessaries, meal planning, toiletries and snacks. The apartment included toilet rolls, bed linen, towels, kitchen cloths and a few individual bathroom soaps and shampoo's. As informed when booking, there was construction taking place however this was not a problem for us and any noise was consistent with apartment living.
Really enjoyed our stay here! We were in the perfect area to explore during our short stay in Boston. There was some pretty loud construction (mentioned in the other reviews but I seriously underestimated) and the downstairs was being renovated so walking in the first time was slightly sketchy (but is totally fine!). The unit itself turned out to be very nice and just like the pictures. I’d definitely stay here again, but may recommend against if you don’t plan on getting up early or spending most of your time outside of the unit.
The location of this apartment makes it an excellent choice for visitors. Close to restaurants and across the street from a T station. For those with late flights home, there is a store on the backside of the building that allows you to check bags for the day and pick them up before heading to the airport (search “luggage storage app”). Very convenient! You do have some street noise at night, but nothing more than what is expected while staying in a city.
Less than 5 mins from Boston Common and many other attractions in Boston CBD.
Beautiful place with great location. No parking available
Great location! Apartment is just like the pictures. Will stay again!
We enjoyed our stay and loved the location. This is our second time staying at the property. It was very easy for a quick trip
Had a fantastic stay as my first time visiting Boston. The Boston Common is right across the street so it was great to explore. The apartment was spacious, clean, and modern. Highly recommend.
very spacious space with a very convent location
Great location! Very walkable. The place itself was clean and lovely also. Much more value than a hotel. Love that it supports a great cause too.
Communication was great.
Comfortable and spacious place to come back to after a day of seeing the city. Also very close to a wide variety of food options. Would recommend!
Great location and perfect apartment.
Great location right in the middle of downtown Boston. Beautiful apartment with huge ceilings. Very comfy we had a gest time
Pros: great location and the place was clean and tidy. Cons: very thin walls--I could hear the neighbors walking and talking at night. The building is also currently being renovated, which starts at 7:30 AM daily, making it difficult to sleep after that.
One of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. Place was exactly like the pictures, hosts went above and beyond with their communication, flexibility, and amenities provided. Location can't be beat, just to the end of the block and you're on the Freedom Trail. The building felt very secure. There was a small element of unhoused people on the street here and there during our 3 night stay, but nothing consistent nor alarming. As a single woman I didn't feel afraid or unsafe walking in or out of the building. We rented a car with apprehension hearing parking is hard to find and expensive. We "discovered" incredibly convenient and reasonable parking $40/day at Boston Common garage. Excellent restaurants within a short walking distance. Steps to the T, which we took to Fenway for a Red Sox game. Complaints about city noise/thin walls are puzzling. We heard nothing except the church bells from the historic FT site at the end of the block. The kids slept in til noon, it was so quiet.
This apartment/condo was great for our family of four including two grade school aged children. There was plenty of room and everything was very clean when we arrived. Location is excellent with easy walks to Boston Commons, Quincy Market, and more. We ate our most meals out (there are many restaurants nearby) so can't comment too much about the kitchen, although it was more than adequate for a quick bowl of cereal each morning.
What a pretty apartment! It's a comfortable place with soft beds. It's very clean. The communication was excellent.
Wonderful well equipped apartment in excellent location. Hosts very responsive
Great location within steps to everything Boston has to offer. Would recommend.
Building is under complete construction all surrounding units have jack hammers and saws cutting and scraping into your neighboring walls and underneath. Be prepared to bring a hard hat, you will need to avoid the random bricks falling from the roof around the entry way.
Central, walkable, and great restaurants nearby. Great downtown location in Boston. The only drawback was that there as a lot of city noise.
Apartment was spotless. Location is great, during the week construction noise is present early on and lasts all day but nothing on the weekends.👍 felt super safe and plenty of room for four of us. Enjoyed our stay. Would rent again.
Great stay in an amazing location right across from the Common and T stop. It’s almost right on the Freedom trail. The only thing to be aware of is that there is construction that starts around 7:30 am outside the building. It was loud when in the living room and kitchen, but we couldn’t hear it in the bedrooms so it didn’t disrupt sleep. Overall, great place and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We really loved our stay in Boston. This apartment is in a great, convenient location that made it easy to get wherever we wanted to be. Boston Common and Park Street Station so closeby made our lives easy. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and we appreciated the washer/dryer since we were traveling with the kids. The hosts have been responsive and helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend—however, just as a heads up to future renters: the middle bedroom picks up full hammer/drill sounds from about 5:50am on all weekdays. My should machine did nothing to drown it out. Because of the thin lines, you can expect this noise to be VERY audible most hours of every week day (the drills can be felt through the floor). We slept beautifully each night until it started but it was rough once it got going and we often couldn’t get back to sleep afterwards. The bedroom closest to the front door seemed to be the least affected.
This was an amazing apartment, with perfect location and great hosts. This very central location was perfect...everything we needed was just a minute away, including the Park Street T stop, groceries, the park...everything. The apartment was so nice, felt very upscale, and was extremely clean. Instructions for checking in were very detailed and clear which took stress out of our stay. We were told before we booked that there was some construction on the 1st floor, and with a 3rd floor apartment, didn't think anything of it, however there was a crane outside our window the duration of the stay, and the construction drilling noise was fairly loud and constant from 7am-3pm. This didn't bother us, but we thought the specifics might be helpful to others. This was a wonderful place and we would definitely stay here again.
It was so fun to be right in the middle of the action. Very clean home and urban feel. There are inconveniences to be expected of a large city (noise and interesting characters near the entrance) but the location more than made up for it. Would definitely stay here again!
Incredible! I loved to stay there :) The host was kind and helpful! I am super happy to choose this house and stayed as a family.
This great location rental is as described in airbnb notes and reviews. Brian/Heather were very responsive in their communication. All amenities were good and seemed new/updated. Clean unit. Nice that quite a few apps were subscribed and available on the tv (Disney+ among them). Cleaning staff were helpful in getting some items for us. We liked that the building had 2 sides for access.
Central location, and a beautiful apartment. Brian and Heather were great hosts!
Fantastic location, beautiful apartment which is completely redone and modernized, and I would definitely recommend and stay at again!
Great location of visiting Boston like us. Centrally located and lots to do from many different directions. It was secure, clean, and a very nice place to stay. The laundry was great as well!
Nice two bedroom across from Boston Commons and subway stop down a little alley. Would stay there again. Great location.
Love the whole experience, great place and very welcoming!
Great place! We love our stay, definitely recommended!!
The place was nice. The only real issues were noise (the church bell, the construction, and the neighbors). Not the end of the world, but enough to make it hard to sleep at times. If you come, sleep with earplugs. Otherwise it was great.
As described. In a good location near Boston Commons. Clean. Easy check in and check out instructions.
Brian and Heather are excellent communicators and the apartment was very clean. The check-in was super easy / turnkey. It was really convenient to be right next to a subway stop, a coffee shop and a grocery store + the Boston Common. Drawbacks: kind of noisy elsewhere in the building, sketchy corner of the park / homeless and addicts outside, the apartment itself lacked some amenities because it's not lived in, just rented out. Very much a downtown/urban experience. That said, I never felt unsafe or terribly inconvenienced. Clean, comfortable and convenient, a good home base from which to go do other things in Boston. But not a homely neighborhood.
Great location, within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. Comfy and cute apartment. However, it was very noisy. We could hear the neighbors, as well as outside noises. There’s a church clock that chimes every 15 minutes, and there was also construction going on in the building that started around 7am.
the apartment was beautiful in an awesome location close to everything. the host was very responsive even when i checked in late. the apartment was very clean and the beds were very cozy. will definitely stay here again when i visit boston.
Definitely a gem in the heart of Boston! The location here is on point to travel around the city. The place is nice, clean, and fully-equipped. The hosts are really kind to let us check in early, which helped us a lot after a long travelling day. 100% recommend this place to everyone!
Brian + Heather's apartment was the perfect spot for our work trip to Boston! It is right in the heart of downtown near the Boston Common and the red and green line is just across the street as well, which makes it very easy to get to anywhere in the city you need to go! It was pristinely clean and very comfortable! We loved staying here!
Had such a lovely long weekend. The apartment was beautiful and walkable to so many places. Cannot wait to come back !
Great walkable spot to most neighborhoods with a close stop to hop on the T if necessary. We enjoyed the flexible check-in & check-out to accommodate our flights in and out. The place definitely picks up sound and conversations from other units— but that was transparent in the listing and reviews.
Fantastic location to explore Boston. Very well equipped apartment, we found there everything we needed. Walls are thin so one can hear neighbors.
The place is really central and next to a big parc. Like the other comments mention we hear the people next door but for us it was not a problem. During the night it was was pretty calm and we could sleep with the normal noises of a busy city. Overall a great choice to visit Boston.
The location was fantastic, the place was clean and tidy, and the hosts provided all the information I needed for an easy entry and departure.
The location is outstanding. The place is exactly as photographed. Host super communicative. We were able to secure early check in / late check out which made our stay especially convenient for our travel plans. Definitely recommend!
Great location right in front of the Common. Very difficult to find parking on the street so we park in a private garage. The apartment was very clean and welcoming and Heather and Brian are very proactive and the check-in process was super easy
We had a great time at Brian and Heather‘s apartment, the place definitely exceeded our expectations. We did hear the upstairs neighbors at times, but with sound machines to help the kids sleep it was not an issue at all. Definitely a charming place in a great neighborhood.
As others have noted: the walls are thin. We could make out the conversations of our neighbors on both sides and could even tell what they were watching on TV. Fortunately this didn't pose a problem when it was time to sleep. To fully address this, the host would need to inject sound-deadening foam insulation between each stud along the living room and kitchen walls. The location is centrally located and close to a couple subway stations (red & orange). It is on a narrow and short dead-end street, so the front windows feel more like an alley view. Bedroom windows face a small building deadspace between neighbors, so you'll want to shut the blinds for privacy. Don't expect to see much sun even on a sunny day. Missing were common condiments, coffee/tea, a throw blanket, there were pots but no pans, no laundry detergent, and no place to lay your soap bar in the shower except the floor. Check-in time (5 pm) is the latest and checkout the earliest (10 am) we've ever seen anywhere.
The apartment was very clean and is located conveniently. However there are a lot of homeless the wander down this ally. as a young woman staying a lone I did get a little uncomfortable walking back at night. The apartment was very low stocked with everything. The bath towels were tiny, no olive oil, cutting board etc. I think a lot of college students live here, very noisy at night and the walls are super thin. Beds were comfortable and thermostat worked well!
Apartment was as described. No issues getting in. Decent location.
Great location. We enjoyed many activities within walking distance; Boston Commons, Quincy Market, Opera House, shopping…. And so much more. The unit was clean and free of clutter.
We are a family of 4 so I was looking for a place where we can stop by anytime in between the trip schedules. The location is just perfect because you can literally walk to all freedom trail landmarks from the airbnb building. There’s a foodcourt just next to the building, and there are two MBTA stations nearby as well so you can access other parts of Boston easily. All rooms are tidy, clean, and spacious as seen in the photos. The kitchen has everything we needed too. In short, it was one of the best stays I’ve had in the US.
This apartment was in a prime location. Walkable to attractions and public transit. Apartment was clean and safe. So nice
Myself, my daughter, son-in-law and toddler grandson stayed here for a week. The apartment was fantastic. It was in an amazing location, close to everything. The was lots to walk to, great places to eat, and very close to public transportation. Initially we were not going to take advantage of the pack n play that was available, but decided to request it a couple of days before check in. They were very responsive, and it was waiting outside the door for us upon arrival. We also requested early check-in, which we did. The Orpheum theater was right next door, and there was a concert for two of the nights we were there. However we heard absolutely no noise from it. The washer and dryer was very nice to have with a toddler. In short I highly recommend this apartment. We felt very safe. The codes to get in the building entrance and into the apartment were very nice. We didn’t have to worry about keeping up with a key.
Great place. great location. very responsive owners.
Brian and Heather were very friendly and responsive to all our questions. The location was so, so perfect. The apartment was safe, comfy, and clean. We had a great stay. Due to the local venue closing the road, Brian and Heather could not rent us the spot for the apartment. We parked in a nearby lot. The morning we checked out, the venue opened the road, so we left the car in the spot marked for the apartment as we packed and brought stuff downstairs for 30 min. We were towed to a lot in Dorchester, so it was an adventure ($150 plus Uber). Brian and Heather's place is awesome, just be warned don't be silly with your car! Don't hesitate to book here, if you are lucky enough to get a reservation!
Heather and Brian were very attentive hosts, would book again with them in the future.
Great spot. Close to all. Easy access. Comfy beds and linens. Would stay again for sure!
Great location, clean, comfortable and very secure. Worked great for our weekend trip.
Easy check in, super cute place. Took advantage of the washer and dryer!
First, the place is in a great location and originally the hosts were great at communicating. This is also my first time leaving a negative review. When I saw that the check-in time was 5pm (the latest I have ever seen for an Airbnb), I requested to pay the early check-in fee so that we could check in at 2pm. We had to use the space immediately to get dressed/get ready for an early dinner reservation and musical so we paid $50 to check in at 2pm. The hosts shared that the $50 was to pay extra cleaning crew to make sure the place was cleaned between guests and ready for our early check-in. When we arrived to check in (at 1:57pm, which is 3 minutes early but would not have changed anything that happens next) the place had not been cleaned at all. The beds were unmade, trash bags in the kitchen, and wet towels on the bathroom floor. Upon seeing this, we contacted the hosts immediately at 2pm via the only form of communication they allow, which is the messaging app. When we did not get a quick response, we called Airbnb as we were under a big time crunch. While on the phone with Airbnb we received the first message back from the hosts. It is my understanding that there is a management group managing this rental. Whoever I spoke to regarding our poor check in/cleaning experience was very rude. When we heard back from the hosts about the cleaning issue, all that was said was that a cleaning crew was coming and that we could go somewhere else while we waited. Which did not work considering we paid to use the space early to get ready. No mention of refunding the $50 early check-in fee was made until we repeatedly asked the hosts. Meanwhile, Airbnb noted that they would contact the hosts about the issue and get back to me at a later point. We sat around the Airbnb while the cleaning crew came in and cleaned, and continued discussions with the host. After pushing the issue about the $50 early check-in fee, and inquiring about a partial refund (whether on the cleaning fee or the nightly rate) as we could not use the unit for over an hour when we needed to be getting ready, whoever I was chatting with became extremely rude and acted as if we could "take it or leave it" with the $50 refund and said that they would never approve any other refund even if Airbnb requested it. The best part was them saying it was our fault for checking in 3 minutes early (which they only knew because I told them about) as if the cleaning crew would have arrived and cleaned the entire space in that 3 minutes when in reality the cleaning crew did not arrive until well after our 2pm check-in time and only at our request. The only reason we pushed the issue with Airbnb was because of the communication we received around getting the space cleaned and getting a partial refund. We ended up getting the early check-in and cleaning fees back, as well as a partial refund no the nightly rate under Airbnb's Air Cover policy. Due to the messages from the host, I won't be surprised if their review attacks me personally and dodges the real issues. Generally, the Airbnb was as described and was in a great location. I would have left a 5 star review if we had not encountered these issues with communication and the hosts attacking me rather than acknowledging/addressing the real issues.
We had a great stay! We had 2 young children with us and the apartment worked out perfectly. They were quick to respond to a question for us. We would definitely recommend!
Beautiful HUGE city loft with exposed brick right by the Boston Common. Hosts' communication was the best I've ever experienced after dozens of Airbnb's. Only very minor negative was the walls were extremely thin between us & the next unit. The neighbors were having a conversation at normal speaking volume & it sounded like they were in the kitchen with us. Sound didn't carry into the bedrooms so it didn't affect sleep at all, just something to note when hanging out in the living room/kitchen. But 11/10 would stay here again.
Phenomenal location, close to Boston Commons, the entertainement district and so many cute streets. Clean, airy, spacious apartment with all amenities. Very quiet and safe building. Would reccomend!
This is a must stay when you come to Boston! Heather and Brian kept up with communication while I had constant questions and were also very helpful when it came to us checking in early and letting us keep our bags in storage while we had a later flight past check out. There was plenty of space for us to hang around while we were not out sight seeing and it was so clean! We loved staying here and high recommend it!
A great, central location to the Boston area allowing you to walk to anywhere from Fenway Park to the Waterfront Area if you prefer walking! Also close to the T, so you could take a train if you’d prefer. There isn’t parking at the location so we rented from a nearby garage - which was fine and walkable as well. Very comfortable beds and as pictured in the photos. A few people mentioned the noise and I will say the upstairs neighbors were a bit much 1-2 of the evenings. The owners of the location provided a noise machine which helped a lot - but I would recommend bringing ear plugs if noise is an issue for your sleep. Outside was quiet and there are a lot of local pubs and such if you have days you don’t want to travel far (we liked Beantown which was great for food and a quick coffee or cocktail!). Overall, the hosts were very friendly and communicative and I would recommend a stay here if it’s your first time in the Boston area and you want to cover a lot of ground. Heck, they are even right across the street from the burial grounds of Sam Adams and Paul Revere! I appreciate the stay - thank you!
The appartment is just perfectly located in Boston. It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Because of the location in a dead end there is no traffic noise and we slept very well. We can definitely recommend the stay at the appartment.
This location could not be better for a Boston walk around experience. History, ethnic neighborhoods and ample food choices abound. The apartment is easy to access and has everything you need. Decor is spare but enough, parking is available right outside the front door. The alley view is funny, but as soon as you exit the building, history hits you in the face. And the cause is perfect. I will stay there anytime I am in Boston if possible and will recommend it to friends.
We had a great stay at the apartment, fabulous location, walking distance to everything, apartment was quiet, well appointed, safe and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Fantastic room! Very clean and quaint. Perfect location to most things in the historic district and Boston Commons. short walk to some great spots in Boston for food, drink, and desert.
Great location. Great communication. Apartment was a little bare bones, so come prepared.
I must say the apartment was perfect. We were a group of 4 guys and really enjoyed our stay there. The location is unbeatable and right next to the green and red subway lines, so you can be everywhere in no time. Also the communication was great, I always got feedback in no time. All together definitely 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great apartment that's close to everything. The apartment was easy to get into and spotless. We would definitely book here again. Thanks for hosting!
Great location next to the Commons and centrally located to all parts of Boston. The hosts were very responsive to questions and very nice! Thank you for enjoyable weekend in Boston.
Fabulous central location in the heart of Boston. Brian and Heather are wonderful to work with and are very responsive. Highly recommend!
Great location, very clean, good communication from hosts.
Clean apartment if you need accommodations near Boston Commons. As others have noted, walls and floors very thin. Hosts were accommodating and provided white noise machines.
Excellent communication, great location. We had a great stay with our 7month old.
Convenient and friendly householder!
Great location and very comfortable beds!
Unit was pretty, but it was pretty beat-up and not a good fit for our quiet family.
The apartment is exactly as advertised. Really cute, felt very clean, and comfortable beds. As others mentioned, the couch is not comfortable. The location makes this apt. It’s across the street from the common and walking distance to much of the city. Farther areas are a quick drive or train ride away - and the train in just up the block. It is in the middle of the city and all that comes with, including vagrancy, visible drug use, and lots of rats - none of which is at all under the owners’ control and none of which affected us personally. We felt safe, but good to know what to expect. The hosts were great and super responsive - accommodated an early check in and quickly helped us resolve an issue with tv connectivity. We had a great stay.
The place was beautiful and a good location I'd suggest bringing ear plugs since the walls are very thin. Two sleepless nights due to the upstairs neighbors. Otherwise the room was very pleasant and clean.
Brian + Heathers place was amazing. Super unique location deep in the heart of it all with parking right in front for a reasonable extra fee. We could walk to everything, restaurants and sightseeing including east access to the T Redline station less than a block away. They communicated well and responded quickly. The home itself was super unique with vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork, and modernized finishing and furnishings. They provided basic amenities like towels, soap, shampoo and basic kitchenware. The AC worked amazingly well for being so hot and such a large volume of space. The bedrooms were well sized with comfortable sheets and pillows. Check in was a breeze.
great location, great space walls are a little thin so you can hear your upstairs and floor neighbors
The location was perfect to walk anywhere or easily catch public transportation and being right off the freedom trail path to follow and see the main points of Bostons history. The place is just as pictured and described and very clean, and check in was easy, even at 2am when we arrived, no issues lol. definitely would stay here again.
We loved this apartment for its location - you can't really beat it. It is clean and Brian & Heather were very responsive to our needs and communicative. I will say that the walls of the building are paper thin, which was not ideal for us as we were traveling with kids (for us or for the neighbors/other guests). Clearly not something that the owners can do anything about - just something potential guests should know.
Awesome Airbnb. Perfect location and extremely comfortable and easy. Will be staying here again.
Very attentive support
Lovely flat in a great location. Easy to get to all the sights in Boston. Clean and comfortable too.
Had a wonderful stay. This place is located perfectly to visit the sites
Perfect for our family of 4!
Some great and not-so-great things about this place: 1) The location is terrific. We walked a block to the T and rode it right to Fenway to see a baseball game. The apartment is right across from the big Commons Park, and near coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Bike rentals are also a block away. Super convenient. 2) The apartment is exactly as pictured. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The couch is way too hard for sleeping, just FYI. The not-so-great: 1) The noise. I have three boys and a dog and don't get easily bothered by noise, but there must be almost no insulation in the building, because the sounds made by the neighbors and their kids carried right through the thin walls starting at 7 a..m. Luckily I was awake, but if you tend to sleep late, this might disturb you. We could also hear neighbors walking a floor above when we went to bed at 10:30. The sound seemed amplified - it almost sounded like someone was bouncing a ball against the floor above us. Again, I'm not too bothered by noise but be warned. This is not a quiet building and you will hear your neighbors clearly. The managers of this unit were immediately responsive to my emails and asked if I could identify where the noise was coming from, presumably so they could ask the neighbors to be quieter, but right after I emailed them, the noise stopped and we fell asleep. 2) A minor thing, but despite the coffee maker and filters in the kitchen, there was no coffee available. The rental managers said if I bought some, they would reimburse me. I ended up just walking to Starbucks two blocks away and buying myself a cup. Still, it would have been nice to have had some available, as coffee is a staple in almost every other airbnb I've stayed in through the years. 3) Check in is not until 5 pm, as others have noted in their reviews. This is very late compared to most airbnb's. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.
Great location. Easy access to the Train station. Right next to the Commons. Great layout and easy to get around. Walls were thin so we could hear neighbors easily.
Great location and space for our family.
This was a great little apartment right in the center of Boston. Access to all the tourist sights was very easy. One note, the walls here are very thin and you can hear everything from the surrounding apartments. We had some very rowdy neighbors our first night up until 3:30 am. I will say that the host was super responsive, even in the middle of the night on this issue. It wasn’t their fault, of course, but just something to be aware of. Overall we loved our stay here!
The place is attractive and perfectly located. After my stay I sent the hosts a PRIVATE message about the unusual lack of any condiments, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, kleenex, sanitizer etc and pointed out that other guests had also said so. The hosts criticized me as a complainer and flippantly promised me a bad review ( it will be “ a gem”) . They sarcastically told me not to worry about it. In dozens of stays from simple cabins to high rent places, this is my first and only negative comment about a host. I won’t be surprised if their review attacks me personally and dodges the real issue.
The apartment was in a fantastic location for us to get to Fenway, the pier, north end or anywhere we were headed. Loved the T being so close. We did have to rent a car 1 day before departure and a parking lot was within close proximity and reasonably priced for the 24 hours until needed again. Also learned Avis rental was down the street so was able to change my reservation from having to get back to the airport to rent the car which was time and money savings. The apartment was clean, beds fairly comfortable but the couch was definitely not comfortable! The walls and ceilings are thin so be aware that it is loud with others talking and walking within the building and outside. I learned after the first night to wear ear plugs to sleep.
PROS: Best location! Immaculately clean! Newly renovated. Hosts were amazing communicators and even silenced some noisy neighbors within five minutes! I highly recommend this place. CONS: Two pm check-in cost $50 extra. There was no coffee or tea provided. Outdoor parking space is $60 per night. (We found a self-serve garage down the street for $31) Otherwise a great stay.
The place was very clean and the location was great because it was right in the center of everything. The host was very responsive and accommodating.
Great location! So much to do in the area, but also very walkable to other parts of the city. Also very close to trains!
A++. Brian and Heather's place was perfect for our time in Boston. The space was large and immaculate. The mattresses were very comfortable. The location is very convenient with access to the T a block away. Would love to stay here again on our next trip.
Beautiful apartment in the heart of Boston. Comfy location!
Clear instruction of the host and spacious place. We enjoyed it
Great location and communication
Great location. Super convenient. The house is next to the Orpheum theater so check the concert schedule to know if it might be busy / noisy on the street. It was peaceful and quiet during my stay! Easy to get to Boston Common / Charles river / MGH/ Faneuil Hall
Fantastic location. Big space that's perfect for 2x couples or a family. Clean and quiet, and easy to locate. We parked at the nearby Lafayette Garage, but there were spaces outside when we arrived.
Great, central location for exploring Boston on foot! Very close to Boston Common and the Freedom Trail. Perfect directions to find the place, which is tucked out of the way. Situated next to a theatre which added to the fun when shows were in. Stocked kitchen for dining in. Our family of four had a wonderful stay and definitely recommend!
We have a mixed review on this property. The negatives were the late check-in (5pm) and early check-out (10am). We were only there for one night so we barely had any time in the apartment. I would also recommend reading the details carefully as there are a lot of fees and penalties to consider. They have parking passes for $60/night but they were not available. We had to park 5 blocks away at $56/night. There is no coffee/cream/sugar. The unit also has an odor — when we arrived it smelled like smoke+air freshener. When the air freshener smell faded it was more of a mildew smell especially in the entry and one of the bedrooms. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, the furnishings are attractive and the beds were comfortable. We had a decent sleep but we wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to friends.
Brian is always ready to answer to your questions
Amazing location and communication was so appreciated! Can’t wait to come back again!
Another convenient and clean stay. Thanks.
We just spent 5 lovely days in Boston and the apartment was exactly as described. Communication with Brian & Heather was super speedy and helpful. Location of the apartment is excellent as everything is walking distance. The only two things we would have wished for would have been condiments like salt, pepper, sugar, oil and vinegar - because we chose an apartment so we could cook some meals ourselves. Therefore a dining table for four would have been great. It was not advertised, so I guess we were just assuming it would be there. Apart from that, we had a great time and experience - can definitely recommend!
Airbnb was in a great location. Beautiful apartment. Wish I booked two nights instead of one. Would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely wonderful place ! Great location! Super clean & easy checkin ! Would stay here 10/10 times !!
The apartment is very clean and it was especially convenient to be able to have a parking spot right outside of the building.
Lovely, clean unit. Just like the pictures and a great location! Great hosts, too.
Came from California, first time in Boston. This unit was clean, spacious, comfortable and since it was freezing outside the heater was left on upon our arrival. Beds comfy, beautiful layout, and most importantly a wonderful location. I attended both a concert and Celtics game at TD garden and this Airbnb was within 10 minutes. Found good restaurants on yelp all within 10 minutes. Did not need a rental. Host replied promptly and check in was very smooth. I would definitely stay here again.
Great experience all around. Hit all the points . The only thing was how uncomfortable the sofa was. Hard to watch TV or sit and have conversations. Other than that a good time. we felt safe and comfortable during our stay.
Perfect location and apartment!
Awesome place. Everything was exactly as described - clean, neat and new. Great location. We would definitely stay again.
Comfortable, v clean place, easy walk to historic parts of Boston / Beacon Hill etc. Challenging location for parking. Annoyingly late check-in policy for otherwise seamless entry. In house laundry a bonus.
cool location and close to tons of stuff.
This place was beautiful & it was a smooth check in process. Everything was clean & it was also very spacious. I would stay in this Airbnb again if I’m ever in Boston, thank you very much!
Clean. Nice. Good location. As advertised.
This is a beautiful condo in a perfect location. Immaculately clean and nicely decorated. Right across from the Common and easy walking distance everywhere.
We loved our stay. The location is perfect, check in smooth and Brian and Heather were very quick to answer any questions. Few things to consider. There is no dedicated work space as indicated in the listing; and if you plan to cook, the kitchen set up is very basic, so bring your own salt and pepper!
The apartment was a great location for walking around Boston and the Common. There is plenty of space in the apartment. Heather and Brian were also super responsive to any questions.
Perfect location for exploring Boston! We walked everywhere from the apartment. Extremely clean. Highly recommend this place!
Great location and nice apartment. Washer and dryer works great. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful stay in Boston! The unit is spacious, clean, and modern in a super convenient part of town right near major T hubs in downtown.
This was a great spot. Location was amazing, the unit was clean and spacious, and Brian and Heather were so quick and helpful with their responses. 10/10
Ideal location and a spotless apartment. The perfect base camp for visitors to Boston.
Our stay at Brian and Heather's Boston apartment was awesome. The unit is surprisingly spacious, especially considering the super central location *literally* in the middle of everything. (Speaking of: the location is perfect, just steps from the Park Street T Station, and walkable to most everything in downtown Boston.) The beds and linens were new and comfortable, and the apartment was newly renovated and sparkling clean. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy, and the host was fast to respond to my few questions. This is probably my new go-to spot for Boston visits! Would definitely recommend staying here.
Great apartment. The location is key. It’s located walking distance from Quincy market, metro station, Boston common, beacon street, Charles River esplanade and Boston library. Great places to eat and convenience stores. Very safe and clean.
We loved this stay! Great location and super easy communication!
You know the saying location, location, location…well this flat is spectacularly located to everything! It was quiet, they have parking available, very clean, host very communicative, check-in and out was easy, coffee pot available, but no coffee provided, that might have been nice. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic and I will stay here again. I put this flat in my favorites for downtown Boston and you should too!
Location, location, location indeed. A terrific central location, right on the Freedom Trail, and close enough to everything. Most of Boston is very walkable from the apartment, with ready access to a lot of history. The elevator to the floor was appreciated on checkin/out but we used the stairs for the middle of the stay. The apartment itself is very nice and well-furnished. We were originally a little worried about the proximity to the theatre, but did not hear anything when a large'ish show let out - nice sound insulation. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking in, but frankly, we ate out every meal and only used the coffee maker. Both bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to a couple of questions we had. Bathroom was nice and serviceable. Couches and other furnishings were likewise comfortable. The furnace was responsive, as was the wifi.
Great place and location!
Fantastic location! The apt is very clean, has comfortable beds and great host communication/information. We were only in the apt overnight to sleep as we were passing through so our needs were minimal, but the apt met every one. Easy to locate and access with detailed parking/check-in instructions. No problems, great spot!
Perfect location. Walking distance to many things, but also right next to the subway station if you need to go elsewhere. Cozy spot to stay. Walls are pretty thin though, so you smell other people’s food when they cook, and you can pretty much always hear others’ conversations, but that didn’t bother us much. Easy check in and check out process. We’d definitely stay here again!
Thanks for a great stay!
Very easy checking, very clean and fun little spot.
Great place. Parking was only issue
Very clean, easy to access and well located.
Amazing location and beautiful place. Highly recommend!
Great place right in the heart of Boston - super accessible! Apartment was very clean, communication was flawless, and accommodations were great.
The Airbnb has a great location, centralized in Boston, with plenty of activities to do nearby. The room itself is spacious and accommodating.
A great location, very clean and a great base for Boston. The theatre is right downstairs and even when an event was on it caused no disturbance. The beds were really comfortable and the decor is very modern and tastefully done. The walls and floors don't have great sound proofing so if you are sensitive to noise then just be aware of that but it didn't detract from a great stay for us.
Great house. Check-in was super easy and Brian & Heather communicated everything clearly and well. If you are planning on using the kitchen, just make sure you bring utensils and seasoning. They had cups and some kitchen tools, but it was pretty limited. The house was clean and very well styled. The beds were also really comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!
Great location. Clean. Best communication I’ve had in a long time
Cute place in the theater district. Great location and the room is fun to spend time in.
This was a perfect location for Boston downtown. You wouldn’t find a better location. Easy access to public transport. Communication was amazing. I would recommend anyone to stay here. I would use spot hero to get your long term parking. You don’t need to drive any where as you can take blue bike or public transportation.
Beautiful place meer steps from Boston Common, the Omni hotel (birthplace of the Boston Cream Pie), and the Beantown Pub... Where you can have a cold Sam Adams while staring at a cold Sam Adams (the pub is across the street from Sam Adams gravesite). Brian was quick to respond to my questions and was a gracious host. I would recommend staying here if you are looking to explore the city.
Great location and price
Unbelievable location. Easy to find, convenient to everywhere in beacon hill. Nice to be off of an alley - less traffic. Will be back.
a fantastic space that is clean, safe, and perfectly located for some of the popular history/tourism that Boston has to offer. make sure to do some homework about parking in the area before check in to save yourself some time!
Cute and clean place! Location is great for walking to the park or pretty much anywhere you’d like to go.
This place is clean and well equipped. The location is ideal - a block from the Boston Common, which makes many things within walking distance.
Excellent location. Everything was clean, and they were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay here a lot.
The apartment is aptly named the ‘Perfect Location” as it was only steps away from everything we were excited to see! Loved our stay and will recommend it to friends and family
Perfect location. Clean. A few hiccups with a sink, but overall was fine. Communication and responsiveness was excellent!
This was a great location - steps away from Boston Commons and the T. It was easy to walk to the grocery store and other shops and restaurants. The owners were very responsive to our communication. Overall a great stay.
This apartment was very clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The beds were very comfortable.
Awesome place in a great location for a reasonable price, headed by a team of professional hosts! The only gripe I have that is not in the hosts control is parking. Do you own due diligence and find where the best/economical garage for your car is. For us it was Lafayette Garage.
This property was very clean., comfortable, updated and gave us plenty of room to spread out after a day of sightseeing. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was clean with plenty of kitchen tools. The bath was nice. We did not experience much noise. Temperature was nice. The building felt safe enough and nicely located at the top of the Commons. Check-in was easy. All needs felt anticipated, we had no reason to communicate with the owners. Well done to the owners of this property.
Great location and a really nice apartment!
The location is absolutely ideal! Plenty of space and the washer and dryer was a nice touch. Had to purchase toilet paper and kleenexes and the kitchen lacked all basic items you'd assumed would be in a big kitchen (ziplock bags, salt/pepper etc). Living room furniture was very uncomfortable, but the tv was great and easy to access Netflix and YouTube.
Apartment was clean and as advertised. Great Location.
We had a wonderful evening in Boston at a great location! The owners were very responsive to any questions or issues we had. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. It is literally steps to the T and easy to get to anything in town. Would definitely stay there again.
Great communication between us and the hosts. They were very quick to address any questions
First and most importantly this place is super clean. Bed sheets and towels were all high grade like I would expect from a 5 star hotel. Kitchen was stocked with all the basics. Location is close to a lot of shopping and right near the park. Checkin was super easy. Best of all the the super quick host communication.
Good place in central location. Clean and a lot of space.
The home does list noise is possible. We got unlucky and had some unruly guests above us and got 0 sleep. If this happens to you, message the hosts immediately. The room was new, clean and nice.
Nice Apt, but very noisy.
This unit offers a great location if you want to be near the T! The Park Street Station is one of the most central T stops - so you really can get to almost anywhere in the city rather quickly from here! The kitchen in this unit was spacious and clean. The washer and dryer (stocked with laundry detergent) in the unit, was very appreciated!
Everything was better than expected. Clean, comfortable and fair priced.
Excellent location and value. Very comfortable space with access to a lot of Boston within easy walking distance.
Great location in regards to the city layout but we happened to have a neighbor above us with active kids and found that the noise traveled a good bit. This shouldn’t be taken to reflect poorly on the apartment itself. It was just an unfortunate circumstance.
The apartment was very modern and nicely upgraded. If staying longer you might need a few more items best to check with the management to see if it can be provided. We used the one extra towel as our bath rug, so it’s not major things just small items. For weekend trips and weekly stays it’s perfect.
The home was nice and the owner had a good timing on responses . Location wasn’t too bad as well. My only issue with this place was I had to set up the tv when I got there which should of been done before my arrival . I had to go find the fire stick on another floor of building to bring back the living room end had to set up the whole thing. Took about 45 minutes to do which took me away from other things I had to do . Luckily the people who stayed there after me wouldn’t have to worry about the same problem since I completed the set up. Other than that which was frustrating the home was nice and relaxing .
Parking is the only con
The apartment was very clean and felt welcoming. Our party required an answer around check in time and we received a response within minutes of messaging.
My son and I had to travel to Boston for an operation and were looking for a place to stay. 'Healing Homes' sounded like the perfect place. I thought this was a place that specialized in hosting guests who come to Boston for medical reasons, and therefor would have that little bit extra. I was wrong. Where I expected warmth and hospitality, we received rude communications from the owners/managers. I wrote to them before we left, asking them what the nearest parking garage was and their response was: "reread the instructions" (which was checking out spothero). A simple: "the closest garage is on such and such a street" would have been much nicer and doesn't require much effort in my opinion. We then had trouble accessing the apartment. The code on the lock was giving us trouble. So after trying it 6 or 7 times I text the owners/managers. Their message back was: "Reread the instructions. They are correct." So we tried, tried, and tried again: nada. I text them again and this time they reply with "try xyzz, our alternate number", which turned out to be the code that finally let us in. For advertising the apartment as a 'healing home', I thought they were extremely rude and not 'healing' at all! The apartment was beautiful! High ceilings, very clean, and a cool view of the lit up marquis of the Orpheum Theater, a movie theater which was now closed due to COVID-19. The kitchen was large and had an island in the middle with stools. We were disappointed about the lack of coffee in the apartment. The neighborhood was great during the day. At the corner of the street they had Citi bikes for rent, there was a pretty old church at the end of the street and a park across the street. Very pretty and bustling. We got there in the evening and there were a lot of homeless people around. When we checked in we had to cut through a group of boys who were smoking marijuana, which was not ideal. No threat there, though, they were all pretty mellow ;-) All in all, I think that if the owners would have been more welcoming and nice that this stay would have been better. Like I said, the apartment itself was beautiful, it was just the owners/managers who needed 'healing'.
This was not the apartment we booked. Noise almost unbearable and smell of marijuana easily came through walls. Has TV however you must create accounts and pay to watch. Host simply told us to use our own accounts to watch TV? Used shampoo (hotel size). Have pictures of what we walked into.
Clean and very nice and modern Airbnb!! it was easy to communicate with the owners! And this Airbnb place is very close to a lot of places!
Great central location, we were able to walk everywhere. Quick responding host and very accommodating. Nice building and very convenient parking outside of the building available for affordable fee.
Brian and Heather’s place was awesome! The location was amazing and it was a perfect place for a weekend getaway!
A beautiful apartment. Close to the common park in Boston.it is just like it looks in the pictures and there are all the amenities you need. There is no parking in the street so take that as a consideration, but the hosts helped us understand we're we can park. They answer every question we had very fast.we really enjoyed our stay.
Great Host and very willing to address any concerns and questions in a timely manner. Beautiful and modern apartment that was in walking distance to so much. Will book Brian + Heather's place again the next time I'm in Boston.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
