your exposure! Security on-site, and 2 Elevators. Units are professionally cleaned and disinfected between every stay.
This beautiful apartment has exposed brick and an industrial feel, but also the warmth and comfiness of an inviting home. What makes this space unique is it's history. The building hallways all show historic photos of the neighborhood dating back to the 1800s! Just steps from the Boston Common, this building has had many tenants over the decades, from retail shops to manufacturing companies!
The building has an ADA compliant entrance, two elevators, two staircases, plenty of storage for trash, and even an Amazon Locker where you can send packages. (at the time of writing this description we are currently setting up the locker, please confirm if it is operational when you book!)
Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed, from the linens pillows and mattress to storage and lighting. Most bedrooms face inwards into a lightwell, or outwards into a city street, so you may not have "Amazing" views of a city skyline, but you will likely have a nice dark night sleep.
Each apartment is equipped with a smart lock and the building has an intercom system which allows a full, self-check-in experience.
The building is also monitored live by a third party security firm, 24/7 and we have an on-site security guard, nightly, from 8pm-2pm for your safety.
We will give our guests the privacy they require with the support they need. We have coverage for virtual help from 7am-11pm and can help with any guest needs from 11am-7pm.
Just steps from the Boston Common, this neighborhood has had many personalities over the decades! Since the early 1900s, the area along Washington and Tremont Streets, roughly from School Street to Beach Street, has also been referred to as the Ladder District. Now it is most commonly named Downtown Crossing as most of the city's Subway's or (T-lines) intersect at Park Street station. The MBTA's Downtown Crossing subway station directly serves Downtown Crossing. The State Street and Park Street stations are within close walking distance. Silver Line service is also available. You can get literally anywhere in the city for a few dollars and a Tpass.
The apartment building is located on a dead end street which means it's super quiet for automobile traffic, but still has the lively city feel as foot traffic is sure to be noticeable any time of day, even in the winter. The Boston Common is only a few hundred feet from the entrance to the building.
Important to note is that lately there has been a gathering of homeless people during the day and night, right outside the 7/11 around the corner. The high foot-traffic provides them opportunities to pan-handle. Please use your caution, and common sense. We've never had an issue, but for folks visiting from towns and rural settings may find this surprising, even concerning.
We've taken measures to make sure our guests are very safe and comfortable during their stays. The building is monitored 24/7 live by a third party security firm. The Boston Improvement Department does nightly walks of the property and nearby streets. We also have an on-site security guard, nightly from 8pm-2am for your safety.
Shipping up to Boston? We put together a great guide filled with information for getting around the city and beyond!
Downtown Boston is easy to navigate. It’s compact, walkable, has an abundance of taxis, yes they still exist! And Uber's are always a tap away. What makes Boston so accessible is it's public transportation system. Driving downtown can be a challenge with its dated road layout and limited parking options but, it’s the most convenient option for travel outside of Boston Proper.
The MBTA is Boston’s public transportation system, and it’s a great way to get around quickly and cheaply. The “T” refers to the subway, which runs throughout Boston, into Cambridge, and into nearby suburbs, providing access to all the attractions located in Boston. Just look for the big "T" in a circle to find a stop.
You can also take buses to get all over the city, and the Commuter Rail is an easy way to get to points outside of Boston. You can buy paper “Charlie Tickets” for single or multiple subway rides at vending machines located in most stations. When your ticket runs low, visit a fare vending machine to add value. A single basic fare for the T is $2.75 with a Charlie Ticket, although if you pick up a Charlie Card (a plastic card like a credit card), the fare is lower at $2.25 for one way. You can load the Charlie Card with an amount of your choosing, so it's smart way to explore the city. They're available at almost every T stop, and are free to get. Once on board, hang on! Being one of the oldest public transportation systems in the country, the T is not always the smoothest ride.
Parking. or "Paahking" is hard to find, expensive (by most tourists accounts) and is best done in lots or garages for peace of mind. Please check out a website called "Spot Hero" to find the most updated options and prices!

We enjoyed this Airbnb! Great location and very walkable.
Very communicative, perfect location near lots of bars, restaurants, and a stones throw from Boston common and many historic sites.
Great Place, perfect for our needs. Modern and clean and feels new.
Loved this place! Exactly as described and much larger than what appeared in the pictures. Host was easy to communicate with regarding anything we needed. Unit was within walking distance to almost everything. Also to find out they donate to charities, makes it even more worth it. Great first Boston experience! Would definitely return.
Fantastic location in the heart of the downtown area, directly adjacent to Boston Common, Beacon Hill, and many other attractions. This apartment is great for friends/family traveling together, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a full washer/dryer.
Fantastic stay! The apartment was modern, clean, and had a great view. The location was super convenient, with easy access to public transport and major attractions. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!
My host answered all my emails to him with great fast responses. Everything I asked for I got. The living room furniture could use an update, but we weren’t there that much so it was fine. The beds were good. The heating system was quite loud. Location was perfect.
the place is clean and spacious, with comfortable beds, nice linens and plenty of towels. that being said, it is not lavishly furnished as described, it's pretty bare and living room furniture is uncomfortable. additionally, there are only mini blinds on windows and a lot of light gets in from street, some of them did not close all the way making it even worse. there is a lot of street noise as well that can be heard thru the night. None of us slept well. To be fair, the street noise is mentioned in the description. the front entrance on Hampton Pl is at the end of a dark alley, one night a homeless person tried to come in with us, so just be aware of your surroundings as you would in any major city. host is responsive and friendly.
Huge apartment, cozy beds, lovely bathrooms and great location to public transportation, shops, grocery and other stores.
Fantastic location. Right next to the common and most attractions are within a 30 minute walk. With the location comes the typical hassles of city life-paying significant money for parking and a loading and unloading zone that is sometimes blocked off. The unit itself is beautiful and spotless. Very spacious. There is a good amount of noise from the street (music etc) and neighbors but it does quiet down by 8 or 9 pm (we have an 11 month old and there were no noise issues once it was bedtime). Beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the washer and dryer were out of order in our unit. Also, there was a delay to getting our entrance instructions, although we were allowed an early check in which was great! The provided instructions likely need some updating- the wifi password provided did not work- we had to go off of what was on the router. Overall, a good experience. Would stay here again.
Central location, with good space. Apartment could use some tlc and both washer and dryer were out of service during our stay.
This location is the absolute best you could hope for. 1 block away from mass transit, Boston Commons, Freedom trail, historical monuments, local restaurants and nightlife. I honestly couldn't have asked for better. Centrally located to all major Boston Attractions. The home was spacious, well appointed and very Boston. Hosts are responsive and fair with any disputes you may have. I will def be visiting this location again.
Fabulous location within walking distance of Boston Commons and most of old Boston. The 5 PM check-in is a bit later than I like, but fine. Nice having 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a kitchen.
Its close to everything, the only thing we did not have was a parking spot and we had to pay to park at a garage. Also the dryer and washer were out of wonder, I hope they can fix that soon. Everything else was perfect, good room sizes, very unique spaces, plenty of towels, access to so many restaurants, amenities etc. I would definitely recommend the condo to others.
I only have it 3 stars and most of the stars were for the location. Easy to walk to most attractions. The entry to the building is still under construction and the elevators look like they are part of a construction zone. The place had 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but the quality of everything in the place was the lowest you can find. The doors all squeaked, one bathroom door always rubbed on the frame, the plumbing fixtures are Home Depot’s lowest quality they sell. The place is quite small with very small rooms. The washer/dryer never worked and although we complained and several others before us did, the management never fixed it or even made an attempt to. When we arrived one toilet did not work but the management did get that fixed and within a day. The area outside has lots of street people around, so if that bothers you, don’t stay there. As I said the location was really the best part.
This place was outstanding! The proximity to the major sites of Boston from this AirBnB are worth every penny. Access to Boston Common, the T, Start of the Freedom Trail made this stay an unforgettable one! Lots of space for 8 of us to hang out in the morning before seeing the city and at night where we relaxed and watched the Olympics. The one issue we had was that the washer/dryer did not work and we were not notified prior to our stay. When we inquired about this our response was “we’re checking on it and will get back to you,” but they never did. I know this is a company that runs this but there was little included in the apartment (hotel shampoo, a couple towels per bathroom, etc. ) Outside of that I would highly recommend this place for a Boston stay!
Would definitely come again.
Great place to stay, perfect location!
Great quiet place in a perfect location. The owners were super responsive when we had a question. The place is across the street from the Boston Common and the Freedom Trail and you can walk to a lot of great places. The home was very comfortable- we would stay there again.
Exactly as described and great place to base for the freedom trail.
These comments are as of June end 2024. That is important because the building where the apartment we stayed in was still in construction of finishing works of common areas and apartments. If you are looking at this comment in 2025, the construction will likely be done. Here are the highs and lows leaving the construction aside: HIGHS Location is phenomenal. If you are using all bedrooms, it will save you a ton of money as compared to hotels. Apartment itself is simple, but appealing in the sort of way that any corporate apartment (vs. individually owned) unit might be. Allows for dogs. LOWS 1) Check-in at 5pm and check-out at 10am means that you get less time for money; 2) Parking at the building is $60 extra and spaces are limited. The whole building seems to be AirBnB units, meaning you will feel that corporate approach over a more intimate individually-owned one. The highs are 5-stars. The lows are 2 stars in my opinion. Hopefully, they will improve the latter with time.
Upon check in I noticed an “Out of Order” sign on the washing machine. I contacted the host immediately and asked for the washing machine issue to be addressed by Monday (I checked in on a Friday evening). I was told that they would check with their maintenance team and get right back to me. They never did get back to me nor address the issue of the unusable washing machine. I booked this property in the middle of a long family trip in order to wash and reset our clothing. For the duration of our 5-night stay the washer remained unusable. We had to find a laundry service, lug our clothing there, spend additional money and time away from our vacation in order to reset our clothing. My request for a partial refund for this inconvenience has gone unanswered. I would not stay in another healing homes property as they simply do not stand behind the amenities in their listing nor care about the impact that their unusable amenities have on their guests.
This is not an emotional review. I will clearly state the facts. This is my 25th Airbnb booking and this is the first time I've ever posted a 1 Star Review. 1. The back door did not function properly. I was stuck outside the building multiple times with other renters trying to get into the building. 2. There was a rhythmic noise behind the broken washer/dryer that was either a drip or something mechanical. I could close my bedroom door and it would help reduce the noise, but it drove my son so crazy that he slept on the couch two nights. 3. This listing was described as a "Lavishly Designed Home." The home is not extravagant. The kitchen utensils/supplies were extremely basic and most of the furnishings appeared very basic. 4. Monday I messaged the host I needed assistance with the washing machine. Brian Co-Host responded rather quickly, "Please allow us to communicate it to our management team..." I messaged again Thursday and we never receive a response.
A great place perfectly central in Boston, with a great mission behind it. My colleagues and I had an excellent stay and would absolutely visit again.
We didn't meet the landlord, but the team dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently, even agreed to exchange us for a quieter suite on the same floor the next day. We appreciate it. The lobby on the first floor has some finishing work, which does not affect access, and the elevator is very convenient.
The apartment suited our needs. However, the streets around the apartment and in front of it have quite a few vagrants loitering around. The front door did not work all the time, and on 2 occasions we had to wait for someone to exit the building before we could enter. The unit's washing machine was out of order when we arrived. We notified Healing Home's and they were going to send someone to fix it. By the time we we departed it was still not working. The entire ground floor is a construction site, and it's not just a small renovation. I feel like this this isn't made clear enough for prospective renters. If it was made abundantly clear the extent of the construction, we would not have stayed here.
Good location, pretty good place for visiting Boston
Quiet, clean space in downtown Boston. Would stay here again
We had a great stay!! The location is great and easy to walk to many places. If you don’t want to walk, public transportation is also very close and easy to use :)
Great location and the four bedrooms worked well for our small group. Within walking distance to everything! Would stay again. Hopefully the lobby will be done and welcoming soon.
Location is superb. We were walking distance to many restaurants and events that we wanted to go to in Boston, or a short uber ride away. We should have used the train, because it was literally on the corner of the block (but we were with an elderly with bad knees). Boston Common is a stone's throw away....this apartment cannot be more perfectly located. The apartment was comfortably decorated as described. All the towels and linens were very clean. The one bummer was that the building and perhaps the surrounding buildings are undergoing construction, and maybe because of this there was a constant low humming of fans that could be heard through the ducts and vents. But it didn't bother us too much because we were only back at the apartment to sleep.
Healing Homes was outstanding far as service and communication! The spot was ideal, and they provided several different options for activities surrounding the area. I would definitely recommend them to another AirBNB user!
The apartment was clean and exactly as prescribed. I appreciated the prompt communication with the host during your stay.
Our party was in Boston for the Boston Marathon. Not only was the rental unit centrally located - close to dining, markets, and Boston Commons - but it also was lovely inside. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, and each had its own design. The bathrooms were well designed. We also found the host to be very responsive to any inquiries that we had during our stay. It turned out to be a wonderful weekend in Boston!
great place for the price!!!
Loved that there were 4 bedrooms to accommodate all of us! Very clean and cute apartment!
Fantastic location, well situated to great shops and restaurants. Excellent host, always a pleasure staying with Healing Homes.
They were very responsive. The apartment was very nice and comfortable. The building is being renovated on lower floors so when entering the building looks bad but the apartment is nice. The neighborhood is interesting… but it’s easy to access areas of Boston.
This was our second stay. Great location and close to everything!
As advertised. Great location for walking to attractions.
Great spot. Very well located. Host is responsive.
Great location for walking around Boston! Easy to get around and easy check in and check out instructions. The only thing was we couldn’t check in till 5pm without an extra fee. Wasn’t too big of a deal, we just went to a bar near by with our suitcases to wait. Other than that, great stay.
The location is the star of this rental. It is directly across from Boston Common and close to the Park Station subway stop, so very centrally located and close to a lot of Freedom Trail stops. Unfortunately during our stay the tenants (not sure if long term or another airbnb unit) in the 5th floor above us were very loud walking around at all hours (2am, 5am). They weren’t playing music, it was just that you can almost feel the pounding of steps from above. There was also construction noise starting at 7am on Friday which prevented sleeping in. The beds were comfortable as was the living room area. One of the bathrooms was missing a glass door on the shower and the tile was cracked. The main elevator stopped working once while we were in it (literally just stopped before our floor and didn’t do anything, we had to push the down button to go down to 3 and walk up to 4). Not something the host can control but scary! Overall, great location and seemed like a reasonable price point.
If you need to be in the heart of Boston this is the place. It's a clean unit and one of the few 4 bedrooms in the area. The noise from the upstairs unit that others have mentioned is real, but we slept after a full day of activities.
Very clean, excellent instructions, responsive host, excellent location downtown. Would stay again!
Incredible location! We were able to walk to almost any of the sites in Boston . We fit 8 in the place and the beds were very comfortable. Host was very responsive . Very clean.
Great stay! Beautiful clean apartment, close to everything, and great hosts! Would definitely stay again!
Great location. Comfortable beds and spacious for up to 8 people. Had a great time.
Amazing location, close to transit, beautiful & comfortable apartment with brick walls. No excessive rules or clean up before check out required. Made a business trip much more enjoyable and fun. Easy access to many parts of the city and so many great restaurants nearby. Would book again if the opportunity arises. Also - ended up being cheaper for 4 people x5 nights than a hotel for the same time period in mid October. Thanks for hosting us!
This four bedroom unit accommodated our small family for a weekend visit very comfortably. The building is conveniently located near shopping; and a hop, skip & jump to the Freedom Trail, the T station @ Boston Common, the aquarium, Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market. It has very comfortable beds and nice linens. It's is spacious enough for a small private gathering. A solid choice.
This place is about location! The apartment was spacious and clean. Beds were nice and comfortable. One bathroom glass door was broken, that would have nice to know. We did use it, but there wasn’t anything like a shelf to keep soap or shampoo on. That was annoying. Some of the towel racks were coming out the wall, so we had to keep our towels in the closet, which worked fine. The washer wouldn’t work nor several of the outlets, until we realized a breaker was off, then that fixed everything. The kitchen was beautiful, but not any extras like salt /pepper or hot pads. It was not a kitchen to really cook in. No coasters to put drinks on the beautiful wood table. Overall, this apartment suited our needs. Thank you!
This is the place to be with a lot of people if you want to be in the center of everything Downtown Boston. Very clean, many cute bedrooms, felt safe, 2 bathrooms was a great amenity, view of Starbucks and a side street, has an elevator, comfy beds and bedding. Really responsive hosts, as quiet as could be considering there are other units. Very loved it. We will return:))).
Incredible location, beautiful apartment and very very very comfortable beds!
This was truly the perfect place to stay for a girls weekend - plenty of beds and privacy. It's an amazing location that's pretty much close to everything, especially a shopping district right down the street in case you forgot anything. We kept saying how it was the perfect place to stay definitely recommend!
Amazing! Definitely will book again. Perfect location, near to public transports. Looks like at the photos, clean, big, and have everything.
Great apartment and location. Next to Boston Common. Perfect base for a Boston vacation. We walked everywhere.
Thank you Brian and Heather! Our stay was great and very accommodating!
Great location. Walked to everything. The place was super clean and comfy. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful place, clean and great location
Great stay, centrally located. Thanks!
Very nice Great location!
Great space, great location! Would stay here again as it sits in a prime location! Host was responsive and quick to answer and questions. Thanks again!
Loved staying right in the heart of Boston, half a block from the Freedom Trail and close to our conference hotel. My coworkers and I enjoyed each other's company staying up late in the private shared space and then retiring to our own rooms. This place has a cool vibe and is super clean. We used the kitchen quite a bit and the appliances were all functional and user friendly. The A/C was nice and cool in mid-summer and the beds were really comfortable. The furniture was modern and functional. You are in the city, so there can be a bit of nighttime noise; people being loud, engine noise, etc.. We all negated this by using white noise apps on our phones. Construction was happening on our building, which wasn't ideal, but it was obviously temporary.
This is a beautiful apartment, we'll appointed, in a fantastic location just a short walk from nearly everything! We thoroughly enjoyed Boston and loved calling this place home for a few days. One slightly negative thing that was surprising to us was how difficult and expensive it was to park in this area. Just be aware of that. We had numerous questions during our stay and the host was responsive within minutes every time. And very helpful.
Super nice clean apartment for a family. Very close to old Boston. Everything was provided that we needed.
This place is it. It’s the perfect location. It’s safe- the building is locked! The directions and instructions were crystal clear! The apartment is straight out of a magazine. So beautiful and pristine! The beds are also very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again! Thank you!
Our stay at Brian and Heather’s apartment was great. The space was very clean, super tidy and had a nice eclectic vibe. They responded within minutes of every text and even offered to send assistance when there was a small issue - which in the end wasn’t an issue. 5 stars for sure and would stay here again.
Perfect location to explore Boston. Across the street is Boston commons a great park to picnic and walk. You also are minutes from a food court for a large variety of foods and a couple of great restaurants. Yvonne’s is really close and is a great scene for drinks and food. I do wish the rooms had ceiling fans as the rooms tend to be warmer than the common areas so if you have people in your party that like a variety of temperatures it’s going to be hard to find an agreeable temperature.
Immaculately clean space in an unbeatable location (just a few steps from the T, the Common, and so many historic sites). The hosts made the check-in process very easy and the space is very welcoming and well-appointed. Remember that it is in the city center and there will be some noise and people from many walks of life around. But the place itself is cozy and mostly quiet. This is a great spot for families and large groups.
Wonderful apartment in best location in Boston. We could not ask for more in an apartment.
Great place, close to a lot of things. We were able to walk everywhere as most things were within 15 - 20 minutes walking. Clean and well maintained.
Location, location, location - this place definitely has that in spades! Just steps away from the Common, and very close to a T station. This place is super accessible to all Boston has to offer! The unit itself was described as "lavishly" decorated, and while I wouldn't describe it as lavish, I would say that it was comfortable. It's tough to find units downtown with this number of bedrooms and bathrooms, so that is also a win. The unit is long and skinny, but each of the rooms is quite spacious. The apartment was extremely clean. The building is unexpectedly odd - is it an old hotel that's in the process of being converted to apartments/condos? We were a little surprised to see quite a bit of construction and randomly placed furniture at the entrance - a warning about this from the owner would have helped us initially get settled. But the space and location can't be beat, so we were happy with this spot from that standpoint.
Great Location! The bed was very comfortable!! Will gladly stay here again.
Perfect small get away Stay and nice and clean
Highlights: The Airbnb is in a perfect location for being a tourist in Boston. Everything is walkable and the T (subway) is across the street. The apartment was extremely comfortable and well-laid out for our party of 8. The hosts are super responsive and made sure our stay went off without a hitch! Things to consider: The building is still undergoing some construction so do not be surprised by the condition of the first floor. Also, there are houseless individuals on the street near the property, but that is the case for any major city! We had no issues. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this AirBnb to anybody looking to be near all the best that Boston has to offer.
The place felt like an institution. Hallway was under construction and not nice. Outside had individual very drunk or on drugs so I had to call the police. Place was cleaned with very toxic smelling cleaner. Kitchen and living room very small Based on four bedrooms Absolutely nothing offered to warm up the visit, no coffee bottled water. I paid a lot for one night and it didn’t feel luxurious or like vacation stay. I made a bad choice and feel like the pictures and overall marketing wasn’t in line with the experience.
Great place to stay as a family!! Easy to get in and out of. The beds were super comfortable with lots of towels in the bathrooms. Would definitely recommend staying there. Walked to everything from the apartment.
Very nice location. Communication was smooth and clear. Would definitely recommend.
Great spot! Clean and plenty to do in the area.
Excellent location! Steps away from Boston Commons, Park and Downtown Crossing T Stations (Green, Red and Orange Lines), varying food location and ample shopping. Very clean unit! Building access is down an alleyway and you may encounter transitory individuals. However, there were no real issues and we never felt unsafe. I would stay here again for any future visits to Boston.
Highly recommend! Brian and heather were so responsive and helpful and the place was beautiful and comfortable and location could not have been better! Will definitely be back!!!
Nice place in the heart of downtown crossing, walkable to boston common, the charles river and lots of great restaurants and cafes. comfortable beds, nice living space, clean kitchen, and two bathrooms made it a welcome spot for the four of us.
We had an amazing time here! Location was perfect to adventure through Downtown Boston
Very responsive hosts. A lot of house rules like most air bnbs but overall no issues. They did not ask a lot for clean up before check out which was nice considering the large cleaning fee. The place was clean, plenty of linens/towels and even some mini shampoos for us. It’s rare to find such a spacious apartment in Boston, it was nice to have 4 large bedrooms for us to use. Great weekend, would stay again.
Great big space in a great area! The place was perfect for our group in town for a family wedding. The rooms for comfortable and clean. The location was walkable to many activities and restaurants. Heather and Brian were very responsive when we had questions. Overall a wonderful experience!
We are a family of 7. Great location. Close to everything. Would definitely recommend
It was a great stay! Everything clean and looking nice. Located in a great area, very accesible. Would repeat!
Great stay at Heather and Brian’s! Great location steps from subway! Extremely responsive hosts!
The convenience of a home in the heart of the city. Very comfortable stay!
Great location and communication.
I would say if you’re going for location this is it! Right across the way from The Commons, and felt very safe for our family w little kids. Was a great touch point for our family to experience the city. The place itself was giant! Very spacious rooms, clean linens and bathrooms. Felt more like a timeshare (quasi-hotel vibe) than a “home” as the kitchen/dining/living room was on the smaller side and not stocked for cooking all meals. But when you’re in the city you’re wanting to eat out mostly anyway. Hosts were easy to communicate w/ and check-in/out was easy. The on street parking was clutch for us too.
Great experience! We will definitely come back here when we’re back in Boston.
Really cool!
good place, good host, good communication.
Great place to stay to explore Boston
Brian and Heather were wonderful hosts. The building was safe and within walking distance to many attractions. Very comfortable living room, kitchen and bedrooms. A few of the appliances needed repair, but overall it was lovely home. They gave clear directions for our stay which was very helpful. There was loud classical music that played outside the bedroom windows early morning until night so a sound machine was helpful if people slept in. Overall we had a great time and had most everything we needed.
Great location! The apartment was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions. We world definitely stay there again.
Brian and Heather's place was wonderful. Great location right in the middle of everything and communicated well throughout. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area
The place is great and we had an amazing time. It’s quite spacious and has an amazing location.
We came to Boston with a small group for the night and stayed at Brian and Heathers rental and it was perfect. The space was large, clean, and it’s in a great location right next to Boston Commons. The hosts were very accommodating and I would definitely stay here again.
We had a terrific stay at Brian + Heather's apartment. The apartment, building, and location were great. And Brian + Heather were wonderful hosts. Thank you!
This apartment was perfect for a two night stay in Boston for four friends. It’s rare to find a place where we can each have our own room. The location was great….easy walking distance to Downtown Crossing for shopping, the Opera House for the play we attended, and the Park Street T stop for exploring farther reaches of the city. Communication with the hosts was good….questions were answered promptly…and the check-in went smoothly. The apartment was immaculately clean and the beds very comfortable. We all loved it!
Good location, highly recommended.
Wonderful stay and Brian was always there to answer questions or solve a challenge for us!
Apartment was beautiful and super clean. This is in a great location right off the commons. Communication from the host was superb. We had an awesome stay and would book the same place without hesitation if coming to Boston again.
Spotless, nice space and location. Very hotel-like in that each room gets two towels, you get 1 trash bag and 1 sponge. Do not expect basic kitchen food-items, the kitchen is barren except pots & pans and dishes. Decent showers although it took a while for the hot water to reach the 4th floor. Easy access from both sides of the building. The dryer and dishwasher doors were broken as well as one of the two microwaves was broken. A fairly significant amount of noise from the apartment directly above. Listened to what sounded like a frat party one night and a crying baby the second night. Minimum street/city noise. The beds and linens were fantastic.
This place is a gem. Definitely in a great spot in Boston for everything. It is literally half a block from the Omni Parker House and around the corner from Nine Zero (both hotels that charge way more). The apartment is clean and tidy just as presented in the photos. My only negative would be that the building itself - the lobby, the elevator - is like a dorm room/hospital and has some interesting smells so definitely not the same level as the apartment. The building is also on a street with trash and homeless people sleeping outside. The upstairs apartment was also loud but the sound machines and ear plugs provided by the hosts saved us there. With all that said, we would still stay here again since the apartment is lovely and the hosts are fantastic. The location is also tough to beat!
Our stay at the Conrad apartments was great! The apartment was clean and had all the amenities and supplies needed for our weekend trip. Brian and Heather were very professional and transparent about the check in and out processes and the rules for our stay. I would highly recommend staying at one of their apartments!
Great location, perfect for a visit with friends. Rooms and beds are amazing and the living room/kitchen is great to hang out in.
There were many issues with our stay in Brian and Heather‘s unit. First they are a large property owner it appears and rely on a management company to manage their listings, which means every question and inquiry basically has to be routed back to them and so it is very very very difficult to get any kind of answers. Responses were very slow. The dryer door in the unit is broken. The bathroom doors have privacy locks which do not lock, which means anybody can just walk in. The walls are paper thin, the building is very transient, it’s located in an alleyway which feels unsafe and someone had urinated on the entryway door. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience.
The apartment was great!
Brian and Heather’s apartment was perfect for our needs - it was spacious and clean, with no frills. We appreciated the clear and concise directions, and we were particularly appreciative of their quick response time whenever we communicated. The location was excellent - close to the Common, the T, food, shopping, etc. It was quiet and comfortable. We would highly recommend!
This is the best place in the Boston to stay and be within walking distance of literally everything. We had the best time. We walked to the North End for dinner, through the Common to shop on Newbury and had a short drive to go wander around Cambridge. It was a delightful stay. There was a comfortable private bedroom for each of us and very clean bathrooms and kitchen. We stayed in and ordered to-go food and watched a movie one night. It was somehow very memorable. The house was a very nice place to come home to. Easy access and having a parking place in the middle of Boston all to ourselves was everything!
All worked out perfectly & we took some great pics at the same spot of the famous album cover! Thanks!
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great! It was near everything and easy to get around. Brian & Heather were quick to respond to all questions.
Brian and Heather were great hosts. When we arrived we were missing blankets for the sofa couch, and they provided them right away. Very communicative and responsive. The beds are comfortable and the location is great. Honestly, it was a great all-around experience
Great location and spacious and clean apartment. Very easy to communicate with the hosts and would recommend to anyone staying with kids as the space was ideal. Will come back I am sure of it!
Super responsive, comfortable and great location!
The place was as described, easy communication, and check-in
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! This was a fantastic vacation starting with our base camp! It was very clean, very secure, comfortable, and very spacious for the four of us (we could have brought 2 more and still had plenty of room) Our host, Brian and Heather, were very gracious and accommodating and nearly immediate with their response to our request. The location of the apartment allowed us to see as much of Boston as humanly possible during our stay. 15 minute walk to the North End for amazing Italian food. 10 minute walk to Beacon Hill for a beer at Cheers. Literally along the Freedom Trail. 10 minute walk to the harbor for whale watching, a trip down to the Cape, and a trip up to Salem. 12 minute ride on the subway to Fenway for a game. 10 minutes to Harvard. Boston Gardens right across the street. Bars and restaurants within walking distance. Can’t wait to go back.
This was a great alternative to a hotel for our family of 5. Unit was clean, plenty of toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, towels, etc provided. Good location for sightseeing. Right across from Boston common, T stop very close, 15 minute walk to the North End. Area felt relatively safe- some interesting characters on the street, but building security is there in the evening. Elevators were very temperamental- 2 were not working the three nights we were there, and another was VERY slow. A few things in the apartment were in need of repair- the microwave (a counter top unit was supplied to take its place) and dryer (a piece of packing tape is needed to keep the door shut). Bathrooms were clean and both showers had good water pressure. Our family enjoyed our stay!
The place is located in the heart of Boston. We could walk to all the major historic sites and nightlife places. The condo was quiet and comfortable with the rustic red brick interior. Brian and Heather were very communicative and helpful when we asked questions. I highly recommend their place to anyone who wants to experience Boston.
It's a great and classy location, they resolved a couple of issues quickly, and it's easy access to everything in Boston you'd want to see.
This apartment is excellent! It was perfect for our family of 6 for two nights. Great location with a short walk to restaurants and the Freedom Trail. Pay for their parking pass. It’s super convenient to have your car accessible right in front of the building. The elevators are a little temperamental…we found the single elevator by the stairs to be quicker than the bank of two together. Beds, towels, linens are all nice quality. We didn’t use the kitchen but did take advantage of the washer and dryer which was really nice to have. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper goods were all provided. Thanks for the use of the apartment!!
We loved our stay in Boston at Brian & Heather’s place. The location is FABULOUS and it is very spacious with a full kitchen.
Locations great, tons of things to do within walking distance. There’s also a couple bikes you can rent nearby to ride to Fenway.
Brian and Heather were super helpful from start to finish. We left something of ours in the apartment and they were kind enough to look and ship it to us for a fee. The apartment was super clean, the amenities were great, and the location was excellent. The apartment is walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shopping.
Great property right by Boston Commons. Traveling with 1 and 3 year old for vacation and a wedding Cons: - no real cons…listing a few thoughts that by no means were deal breakers - gave 3 stars for value but I did come during Celtic playoffs and apartment was almost $1000 a night which I thought to be overpriced. Upon looking, it appears it’s not usually so much - loud(ish)…could hear neighbors stomping above and noises from street…but it’s an apartment and is downtown so we expected it and wasn’t particularly bothersome - parking additional which adds up in cost. Recommend against renting…walking and T was easy. We rented last 2 of 7 days and used SpotHero for parking one night and onsite for second - need everything if you’re going to cook anything (including salt/spices and oil)…don’t cook ;) and eat a lobster roll every day Pros: - extremely clean - rapid communication with hosts (a property management company I believe) - easy check in and out - great location walkable to everything - spacious and well laid out rooms - easy to use TV with streaming - comfy beds with tons of pillows that all felt really clean Overall would 100% stay again and Highly recommend but probably wait till price went down a bit. Six nights at that rate plus the air bnb fees made it a rather expensive (but awesome) vacation. Thank y’all so much.
Pros: - great location - comfortable beds - good host communication Cons: - photos are not accurate of the unit - microwave and multiple outlets didn’t work (as others have noted for months) - unit is pretty bare bones (kitchen in particular) - not exactly “lavishly” designed - check in is pretty late combined with an early check out - over priced for what it was given all the cons
Brian & Heather communicated very well and gave us thorough check-in and check-out instructions. The space was clean and decorated beautifully. Thanks for giving us a great, safe space to spend the night!
We had a blast exploring Boston! This was a great location for our home base. I highly recommend staying here for your Boston adventures!
The unit was neat and super comfortable. The communication very effective. Exactly as described.
Beautiful place to stay in great location!
Nestled just off Boston Common and the Park St station of the "T", this location was perfect for accessing Boston's different areas and sights. Condo was clean, bright and well suited for the task. Brian + Heather were very helpful and professional. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful spot in a great location close to downtown. Everything was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and the process to check in and check out was super easy. The hosts also were quick to respond to messages. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone.
This place rocks!! It’s location is ideal - steps away from the Freedom Trail, subway station and amazing restaurants too! Inside is perfect! The most comfy beds (and I have a sleep by number bed at home so am quite picky!), very cool interior with the exposed brick & art work, very secure/sage access to building, great views of old buildings across way. We loved our stay and we would highly recommend it! We had a group of 5 adults, so appreciated 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. This place is totally worth it!!!
Awesome place to stay, great location, and plenty of space for multiple guests!
Thank you. Great place and walkable to all places. Very central
Clean, comfortable, spacious, and surprisingly quiet for an urban location. Hosts responded promptly to questions and sent helpful information before arrival for smooth self-check in. Three generations of our family (all adults) liked the unit and found the location very convenient to transportation, sightseeing, and wandering. Almost everything we needed was within an easy walk.
Greta location, space, and super comfortable bed! Brian was also super prompt at communication.
great location, great hosts. everything was easy, nice, and simple. def recommend!
What a great place to stay, love the exposed brick, comfortable beds, and best of all the communication with the owner was some of the best I have ever experienced.
This AirBnb is in a great location right in the heart of Boston, and steps away from Boston Common. Lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping nearby. Easy to run out to Walgreens or CVS if you forget something. The unit is also very close to several T stops. The unit is spacious, with two bathrooms and four bedrooms as well as a common area/kitchen. The hosts provided plenty of towels/bathroom supplies for all of us. Wi-Fi and TV work great, we had no problems. There are very few kitchen supplies provided - if you want coffee or to cook, you will need to bring your own coffee/spices. Recommend bringing cone filters for the coffee machines, the provided filters don't fit the machine. There is standard city noise when sleeping (nothing more than normal noise) - if you are sensitive to noise at night, recommend bringing earplugs or noise cancelling headphones. If you are driving, recommend paying for the parking pass to park outside the AirBNB - the closest parking garages are very expensive and add up to more than the parking pass cost. That said, you do not need a car in the city if you stay in this location, it is very central and lots of access to public transportation.
The location was amazing and the space was lovely
The place is very large and the location is great. Hosts were communicative. Did not give 5 stars for a few reasons. The walls are very thin. If you are not on the top floor, you will definitey hear the people above you. if you luck out and have quiet neighbors, not really an issue but I was there for the marathon and upstairs neighbors weren't so quiet. also the place could use a little TLC. some outlets didn't work, built in microwave didn't work but they had placed a replacement on counter, bathroom sinks drained very slow, odd placement of some lighting fixtures in kitchen so my husband had to duck walking in there. But overall it is a great location that can't be beat.
Great location and charming apartment! Highly recommend this rental!
We loved our stay at the apartment: it’s really well located, big, has good beds and 2 bathrooms. Some things to improve: the lock to enter the apartment (sometimes it works well, other times it doesn’t) and the electricity in the house (the electricity keeps going out in various sockets). Another thing is that it’s a bit noisy in the bedrooms during the day (because of the music playing on the streets) and during day and night (from the airconditioning systems outside the building).
Absolutely recommend! Place is great located! Just like in the pictures! Very clean and perfect for large groups!
Amazing location, steps away from the commons! Brian and Heather were extremely helpful during the stay! Highly recommend:)
We had an amazing stay. Brian and Heather were excellent hosts. The apartment is beautiful and so close to many of Boston’s most exciting spots. I would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling in from out of town.
We were pleased with this place as it is so close to the T train station. That made getting to our show in Cambridge a breeze! The hotel itself was just as described. A couple of things weren't working but overall it had everything we needed. A blessing and a curse: there are lots of security clearances - get your note book out because there are at least three codes to memorize. There is hardly any public parking nearby so paying extra for private parking was our only real option. It gets pricey with all the extra fees and add ons, so heads up.
Great place to stay, clean and a fantastic location in the middle of Boston.
Great place in the heart of Boston
This is a fantastic location right in downtown Boston. Walking distance to some bars and restaurants! With the place there were several broken or falling apart items in the place. Could use some maintenance.
Brian & Heather's place was very lovely and had lots of space for many people. Each of the 4 bedrooms was very nice sized. Two bathrooms were impeccably clean. The sitting area was very comfortable and kitchen was fully furnished. Location could not be any better with everything you'd ever want just a block or two away. Hosts were fantastic to communicate with and all the instructions provided to get in/out were very easy to follow. Would definitely recommend to others.
On the positive side, the apartment is very close to the Common and the whole of Boston’s downtown, on a quiet side street. The bedrooms are attractive and feature good mattresses and bedclothes. There were no hitches with the building and apartment door codes, and communication with the host was quick and clear. What about the negative side? Advertised as “lavishly designed,” the apartment is in fact awkward, and shows signs of having been rearranged in clumsy ways. The pictures of the kitchen / living room are actually from a different unit in the building—one with bigger windows and a balcony. Our kitchen island, missing from the photos, cramps the dining area. Ceiling lights indicate that the dining table was located elsewhere, then moved to accommodate the island. But the lights remain where they were, head-bangers for tall people. Another problem in the kitchen is faulty electric outlets, which repeatedly stopped working. (No GFCI circuitry anywhere: was the renovation of the apartment even in compliance with code?) The built-in microwave, including light for the stovetop, was broken. The cabinets were understocked: unless you bring your own cooking gear, don’t plan on doing more than minimal cooking. Somehow characteristic was that the kitchen towels, instead of absorbing water, repel it; good luck trying to tidy up with them. An apartment advertised to accommodate up to 8 people came with just two wine glasses. When the living room area was rearranged, no one bothered to rehang a picture—which ended up half-eclipsed by the TV. So much for “lavishly designed.” The bathrooms are ok, but poorly maintained. A loose toilet seat. The flush mechanism is missing a crucial plastic nut on the inside of the tank. One of the sinks backs up. The door handles are loose, and fail to lock. The apartment turns out to be owned not by a couple called Heather and Brian but by “Healing Homes of Boston,” incorporated in New Mexico a few years ago. “Healing Homes” seems to manage multiple units in the building. Check-in was late in the day and check-out early. The company should advertise the unit with photos FROM the unit, and bring in an electrician and a handyman to make repairs. The price seems high for what my family got.
Great location and good communication.
Great stay - exactly as described/pictured. This is really a huge space with 4 good sized bedrooms and definitely worth the price!
Great location! Easy instructions to get into the secured building & apt. Spacious bedrooms, fun decor, perfect layout. Hosts are VERY responsive. I would stay here again - and do recommend you check it out!
If you like to stay in the city this is the perfect place to be
The place was really good in terms of the location. It is right in the middle of the downtown so you can have access to various restaurants, etc. It is also right next to Boston Common so if you want to look around some historical places in Boston, this is a good place. On the other hands, we found many issues in the house. These include, broken dryer, slow drainage in the bathrooms and flickering lights. Wifi worked fine in the living room but it was very slow in the rooms that are far from the router.
Excellent place to stay. Great location. prompt response. Thank you!
Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. This place is big! And it is very comfortable. The amenities were a little low, so be prepared to do a grocery run when you get there for essentials. But the place is great and Brain and Heather were super responsive.
If you’re looking for a place in Boston in a great area that is not only affordable for a beautiful place to stay look no further! The hosts are extremely helpful and very responsive. We plan on coming back to Boston and have no doubt we would book the same place as long as it’s available!
Great place in downtown Boston. Clean and spacious
Great place to stay with an even better location! The apartment was just as advertised and is great for a larger group. It was walking distance to mostly everything we wanted to see. Brian and Heather were extremely easy to communicate with. We would stay here again.
Great place to stay, very clean and comfortable! The location was perfect, it’s within walking distance of lots of shops, restaurants and activities! Highly recommend staying here!
This apartment is beautiful and in a great location in the city. The check-in instructions to access the building and unit were very clear and the elevator access was very convenient. Brian and Heather were quick to respond to any communication and all of the basic necessities were available in the apartment. Everyone in my group loved the space and we would definitely book again when returning to Boston!
A great location for the right price. We were travelling for business with our team. Having individual rooms centrally located to our conference was perfect. Will keep it saved for next time we're in Boston!
This is an awesome apartment! Great location! Very comfortable accommodations. Loved it!!
This was a great 4 bedroom apartment so well arranged and so convenient for our travel plans. Our hosts were great and we had absolutely no problems. all 5 star here!
This condo is great! Very centrally located, easy to get in and has everything you need for a wonderful stay.
My family had a great time visiting Boston and staying at Brian & Heather's place ! It was super clean and perfectly located right in the heart of Boston so there was no need to jump in and out of our car and deal with parking around town. We were able to experience Boston by simply walking everywhere. Location, Location, Location !! Thanks Brian & Heather !!!
Perfect location for us to get to a Red Sox game on the T. After the game we walked the neighborhood and ended in Little Italy for dinner. The living room could use either a bigger couch or more seating options as 7 adults had a hard time all sitting comfortably together. Luckily we weren’t in Boston to stay inside so for the couple minutes here and there it worked fine. Very comfortable beds, plenty of pillows. Towels could be a tad bigger but they get the job done. We would definitely stay here again.
We were very happy with our recent stay in Boston. The location was wonderful and the communication was great. The bed was very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. Check-in and check-out were super easy. We would definitely visit again!
Their place was extremely clean and the beds were super comfy!
Nice location and good place to stay.
This location is fantastic the apartment it’s self is great. I’d highly recommend it to anyone with a family. Parking is difficult purchase the daily pass .
The location is excellent - close to Boston Common, the T, many restaurants and a great grocery store (Roche Brothers). The unit was clean and generally as pictured - the living area had been moved around a bit. A few maintenance items, clearly not new, (such as shelves and a towel rack removed from bathrooms) were an unwelcome surprise. The mattresses were extremely comfortable. The hosts responded quickly to messages. Just the basics were provided in kitchen and bathrooms. For a four bedroom place there isn't much seating, but there were only four of us so it was adequate. Noises from other apartments, above and beside, were noticeable, as other reviewers had noted.
What a wonderful space! Easy to access, centrally located and just lovely. The beds were super comfortable and my teens were thrilled to have their own rooms! The exposed brick throughout the apartment and rustic wood headboards were great design elements. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation and hope to stay again in the future.
Great, huge, comfortable apartment. Great location, walk to Boston Common and Boston Garden, shopping, sights and restaurants.
The place was so nice and I recommend it
Great location, easy check in and clean place
Listing is very accurate and location is as central as you can get for downtown Boston. Overall was a comfortable stay and Brian and Heather were very quick to reply to any questions we had.
Very nice and stylish place. Right in the middle of all the fun - shopping, restaurants, short walk to Little Italy. Very safe and clean with lots of room.
The apartment is on a small dead end street. They do have reserved parking right in front of the building for a reasonable price. There are homeless people around but that is all the area around the Boston Commons. Apartment was very clean and very well secured!
Place is accurate. We loved the space and the comfort that it offered. The location was near the Red, Green, and Orange lines for the T subway- basically, you can get anywhere from this location. The only thing that we did not like about the place (out of their control) would be the rats that we saw nightly in the alley walking to the apartment. Thank you very much for opening your place to us.
Great location, right next to the T, and excellent communication from the staff.
Great location. Very clean. Respond to questions and concerns quickly.
This apt. Is gorgeous! 4 beautiful bedrooms with super comfortable beds and pillows. The decor is modern and stylish with exposed brick. Very spacious. Great location right near the Boston Commons and downtown. I used the Parkingwhiz app and secured a location for a reasonable price. Brian was a great host, extremely responsive. Overall a great stay, I would recommend it and hope to go back.
For starters there are not many AirBnB four bedroom apartments in Boston, and this location if awesome. We loved all the pictures on the walls from the past. We stayed in the four bedroom apartment and our family of six was very comfortable. Its a pity the homeless/drug situation has gotten worse in the area, just need to be mindful and aware. A lot of cities have these type of issues/problems now. Other then that, everything was perfect.
Very spacious unit and couldn't be more convenient to Boston Common. Walking distance from so many great places! Our only piece of feedback which isn't in the property manager's control is that the ceilings are super thin so if there happens to be a family above, you'll likely hear them. No real fault of theirs, but because we knew how much can be heard from above, we just tip toed in evening hours for the consideration of those below us. Other than that, the space for our family would really appreciated. Would recommend!
Very clean, great communication, highly recommend
Phenomenal location, great communication, very clean, easiest check in/out ever.
You can't get a better location! This is right in the middle of everything in Boston, we loved the central location and the until was very nice. They were very responsive when we had any issues but nothing was "fixed" while we were there, not that any of it was a big deal. We absolutely loved our stay, loved the flexibility that Brian & Heather had (we had to add a night on to our trip and add parking for a night and they made it work) and hope to stay here again!
The house is excellent, the location is the best, I recommend it 100%. Was my best choice to spent some days in Boston with my family.
place was great overall, communication was great with the host. a few of the appliances were broken. amazing wifi and tv. just a few appliances to be fixed but overall a great location.
Location is perfect. Bedding and air conditioning are super comfortable. Felt safe with my daughters and the suggested parking app was useful. My only suggestion is to bring your own hand soap, ice, paper towels, salt and pepper if you plan on cooking.
Great place to stay, beautiful rooms, and walking distance from some pretty cool bars. Definitely would recommend Brian and Heather!
Great location! Place was very updated and clean. May need to bring your own toiletries pending on how many people. Brian and Heather are great communicators and were very responsive with any questions. Would definitely stay again!
This company was great to work with. Communication was awesome (they always got back to me within the day), and they really helped with changes to the reservation and making accommodations to those changes. The space was clean, a great location in the middle of a lot of things (shopping and food), and it was very spacious and comfortable for all 8 of us. The train station is just across the street, and there’s a nice pub only a block of two away. Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed staying at this AirBnb and would recommend to anyone traveling in a large group!
Excellent place to stay in Boston. Close to everything. Clean and beautiful apartment.
The apartment is beautiful and in a great location!
BEAUTIFUL apartment right in the heart of downtown. Hosts were always super quick to respond and the apartment was very clean. Will probably stay here again if I'm ever in town.
We had a great time. Very good location and the apartment was very comfortable. For sure we will return.
Beautiful apartment & great location but considering we are in a middle of a pandemic, I expected the apartment to be cleaner.
Great place. Easy to get in and out of. Beautiful and comfortable. Thanks!
We recently visited Boston for a brief work trip. We booked our stay with Brian and Heather because of the location, value, size and style of the AirBNB. From the start of the process we received tremendous customer service and the stay was memorable.
This place was fantastic! Had the best girls weekend there. Great location, easy check in, beautiful apartment. Couldn’t have asked for more.
The location was pristine, well decorated and felt like a modern, upscale AirBnB. Definitely one of the better AirBnBs I've stayed at in my 5 years using AirBnB. The hosts were also responsive and made our stay enjoyable. Would definitely recommend
I have mixed feelings about this AirBnb. It was clean, nicely decorated and large with four nice bedrooms and two bathrooms. It lacked some of the basic amenities such as kitchen towels, sponges, dishwasher detergent and hot pads as well as basic storage in the bathrooms and bedrooms. I think that the owners could make some inexpensive improvements to make it a much better experience.
Had so much fun fast responses and easy to communicate with. Loved our stay
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
