This 2 bed, 1 bath apartment with washer dryer in unit is located in the heart of Boston, just a 3 minute walk to Boston Common. It is designed with an open concept and impeccable style. The unit layouts exceed by including a wonderful all-inclusive living room, dining and eat in kitchen. Two bedrooms are of similar size.
We had a great and easy stay
Great location easy to get around on foot, by Uber, or subway. Would definitely stay there again.
The lobby is under construction, the unit we stayed in on the 3rd floor was brand new. Location is a dead end street in heart of Boston, so very quiet for the location and easy to load and unload. If you can reserve a space on the street, I recommend you do so. But you can walk through the plaza at dead end to parking nearby.
Great location. The host was very responsive. Unit was clean and very comfortable. There is not much natural daylight in the unit, however, the location is excellent , next to Boston Commons, shopping, restaurants and historic sites; I would definitely recommend and stay there again.
The staff at healing homes was incredibly hospitable for my self and my party. My best friend and I were staying here while she is awaiting a surgery, we had another friend of hers, more like acquaintance, helping out in moving in on the first day of the week, this person soon proved to be looking to move in here and not leave. When I shared this uncomfortable news with healing homes, they were very helpful in changing the locks when set acquaintance was out of the building. Thank you so much and I look forward to staying with you again
Position, position, position! If you love a city location extremely close to everything (shops attractions restaurants) then this apartment is brilliant. Make sure to have breakfast at Bakey opposite Boston Common! Quiet haven in the middle of the city.
I wanted to love this place, but it's got issues. CONSTRUCTION - started at 7am. The lobby looks like a war zone, to be expected as it's under construction. But the banging and jackhammering started at 7am - incredibly unpleasant. There is mention of the construction in the listing, but 7am is way too early. I learned that it's a city ordinance that construction CAN start at 7, but if you intend to sleep past then, you should consider a different place. For a place that bills itself as "Healing Homes" it is anything but when the walls are shaking. Another issue is super thin walls and floors. Perhaps we had a particularly active upstairs neighbor, but hearing every single footstep above is not pleasant. One night it seemed like the they were dragging furniture around until 2am. Footsteps like an elephant walking overhead. They did provide a sound machine, but it didn't help. Positives - space is great, nicely furnished, great location, but an abundance of homeless folks outside
The apartment was delightful, clean, and accurate to the description, although sleeping hours ended at 7am for us during our stay due to extremely loud construction on the building. The stay’s description mentions city noise and construction, but fails to specify that the jackhammering and saw-work is within the building and, in our case, directly below and around the apartment. Definitely bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper and do not plan on sleeping in! Otherwise, the place was clean and nice, wifi was reliable, and the check in/out was easy and efficient.
Nice place, very clean. Can’t beat the location!
The hosts were responsive and helpful. Upon check in our space was not clean and linens were not prepared. They found us a vacant unit within the building for the night and we were all set for the rest of the weekend! Thank you! Great location and right next to the Orpheum.
Stayed overnight in Boston for a concert and the space in the airbnb was perfect for my friend and I. Open space with the kitchen and living room, beds were super comfy and great size, clean sheets and lots of pillows, bathroom was great and clean. Would book again!
This is a great place to stay! Everything is as pictured and everything is in a walkable distance. The park is right across the street. The only downside is that one of the entrances is located in a dark alleyway. It smelled of urine and there were bums hanging around. It didn’t feel as safe there.
Really nice place in a good location!
Excellent location, very nice hosts and they answered very quickly. The apartment was very clean and well furnished.
Amazing location, so central. Perfect to explore the city. The apartment was really nicely furnished, spacious and perfectly clean. Brian and Heather were really responsive and incredibly helpful. It was great to have laundry facilities with detergent provided too! My only notes would be a lack of cutlery which is out of place given how well stocked the kitchen is with other things. And there is not a huge amount of natural lighting. All in all I would absolutely stay again and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice space to stay to explore Boston
Great location, easy check-in, comfortable beds and a great-sized kitchen.
Great location, super clean, excellent hosts! Just realize you will hear all the construction noise at odd hours and bring your own ground coffee if you need it before leaving for the day!
Apartment looked exactly like the photos. Everything was clean and all the essential provided. Great location with in a few hundred feet of both park and downtown T station.
Building is under construction and shower had some draining issues that was fixed on the last day. Some unfinished areas (bedroom mounted light needs to fill in a hole). Very nice apartment otherwise!
Great location in the city, walkable to everything you need!
It was great staying at Brian and Heather’s spot. Central location and very clean.
Staying here was very enjoyable! There was lots to do within walking distance and the place had everything we needed. The only thing to note is that there isn’t much natural sunlight, but to no fault of the hosts. Would definitely stay here again!
Building is under construction so entrance way was a bit jarring at first. The apartment building and unit door pads were malfunctioning during my stay. Otherwise unit was clean, as presented in the pictures, and location was excellent! Brian+Heather were also great with communication!
I loved this place! I’ve been in Boston many times and I have stayed here 2 times and wouldn’t change it! For sure i’ll be back with friends and family
Solid location, great place. Was super for a weekend getaway!
Really nice place
We couldn’t expect better!! I wish we stayed more days in Boston and in the apartment!! Thanks a lot
The apartment itself was as described and very clean and well appointed. The beds and extra bedding were very comfortable and cozy. Having the in-unit washer dryer was amazing for our messy kids. The apartment was quite dark without turning on the lights - only windows are interior from a shaft - just a warning to those looking to shoot any content. The big drawback to this listing is the noise, which was two-fold: 1. There is major construction going on in the building on the 2nd floor/main lobby. I had no idea this was the case and LOUD work started at 7:02am on Friday and 6:47 on Monday - thank goodness there was no work being done Sat/Sun. 2. No soundproofing between units/floors. While I couldn't hear my own party's footsteps outside my bedroom door, I could hear the footsteps/stomps/furniture moving, babies crying, etc. of every other unit (or so it felt). I had a hard time falling asleep and was was woken up between 1 and 2am every night by people coming and going. Crazy.
Inside of the apartment was great but first floor of the building is a full construction zone down to the studs. Construction began at 6:30 am on Friday and 7:30 am on Saturday. The description does not accurately describe the scope of construction in the building. The staircase, elevator and hallways were not in the condition I would expect for a superhost. There was a homeless person in distress sitting on steps to the entrance of the building during the day on Friday.
The place has a great location and is very clean and comfortable. Although I am not very knowledgeable about Boston hotel pricing or real estate pricing, the price seems a bit high at over $400 per night given that there are no outside windows and the building is undergoing construction. Also, there was a homeless man sleeping next to the primary entrance.
perfect for us
When we came to Boston, there were a lot of work happening in the building, someday starting before 7am, which was quite annoying.
The apartment was in wonderful condition! Walking distance from everything. Communication was superb. We had a great little getaway.
The place was lovely with a great location and clean space. The hosts were also very responsive. However, the noise from the construction downstairs wasn’t minimal (as described), woke us up very early on mornings and even caused shaking in the apartment.
Perfect location to walk anywhere in Boston. Home was exactly as described and communication was excellent.
Great place and location!
The room looks like the picture. However, the mirror is located at a wired place in the bedroom. Also, the area is not very safe.
Great central location from which to explore the city!
Great location across the street from Boston Common
My collegues were very happy about staying in this place :)
We enjoyed our stay at Brian + Heather’s place it was clean, modern chic and very comfortable. Great location in Boston Financial District - can walk to local restaurants and performance venues. We wished the check out time was closer to 11am. But nonetheless beautiful place and highly recommend. Hosts were responsive and informative. Thank you!
Reply very quick and useful!
The apartment itself was, on balance, fine. The photos make it seem brighter than it is, though. The windows face an interior part of the building, which was consequently low on natural light. So that aspect of the listing’s description was exaggerated. One of the two main entrances keypad entries simply didn’t work. Very unnerving the first time around. The apartment door’s keypad was also finicky and took 10 minutes to figure out. Clearer instructions would’ve been helped avoid this. The construction on the first floor woke us up at 6am. Definitely not appreciated. The neighborhood, especially at night, is shadier than we expected. Nothing bad happened but we didn’t feel at ease.
We enjoyed this great location which was just steps away from Boston Common. The two bedrooms accommodated our party of 3 comfortably. My sheets were nice and soft. Unfortunately there was construction being done in the building which made for lots of noise during the day. There are also very few windows, so if you like natural light, this is a drawback. Overall, I would recommend this spot. The hosts were responsive and let us check out a bit later, which was very helpful.
Very convenient, clean and stylish with nice furnishings. The only fault I could find if I’m going to nitpick is that it’s on an alley and there were some questionable but harmless people out front, and the only widows in the apartment basically face an interior brick wall. It’s a fantastic value though, and if you’re looking for a clean comfy apartment in a central location and you’re not looking for a view and don’t mind a few homeless people hanging out in the neighborhood, you will love it.
To be honest, if you need a place to rest, look elsewhere. As of May 1st this entire building is under construction. It starts early in the morning and the doors to the building which are under a lock code get propped open. It’s not just gentle city noise, it’s excessively loud construction banging. This was not included in the listing information and effected our stay significantly. The kitchen, while having appliances&a few cups&plates is not fully stocked. You couldn’t make coffee unless you purchase beans, filters, etc. The laundry option in unit was beneficial but I suggest bringing your own soaps&giving the machine a once over due to some mold/mildew. Parking is an additional $60/day, however right now the construction vehicles block those spots so likely not worth it. We parked down the street in a garage for cheaper and it was monitored 24/7. Our sheets had some stains&the walls/property had tons of scuffs, dents, missing footboards, etc. Its very bare bones. Id stay elsewhere.
For the Aussie travellers, this place is in prime location as it's close to everything in walking distance. We caught the train from New York to Boston and were able to walk from Amtrak South Station to the location with ease with our luggage. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Boston.
This apartment is clean, has plenty of space, and right downtown. We were close to everything. So glad we were able to reserve a parking space right out front. The hosts are responsive and made everything so easy. I would highly recommend this rental.
This host was extremely responsive any time we reached out! The place was very nice, just like the pictures and in a good location because the places we wanted to go to were a short Uber or walk away. The only thing we did not love was the thin walls/ceilings - we heard the upstairs neighbors walking around and being noisy early in the morning which woke us up. Despite that, it was still a great place and I would consider staying at this location, or at another one of the host’s locations next time I come to Boston.
Hosts were very responsive and friendly. The apartment was very comfortable. Will consider it next time we visit Boston.
Great location in the city. Everything was in walking distance. Fantastic apartment, perfect for a long or short trip. Would highly recommend.
The apartment is very well located, and it’s as describe in the app. Just to things to consider, it has low daylight and little noise. But a really good choice to stay close to Boston downtown.
Location is great
Check-in/out times were not the most convenient, but the hosts allowed us to place our luggage in the unit early which was a great help. The place looks just like the pictures and is in a convenient location. The TV programming was great as well.
It was a beautiful place to stay after work. A bit of noise almost all day from the neighbors who live on the top floor, but everything else is perfect.
This was a great place to stay! The location was in a great spot that was pretty walkable to most places we were going! The instructions to enter the building were easy to follow. Overall the place was clean and had most necessary supplies. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but they did the job for a few nights. Wanted to do some laundry before we left but the washer smelled moldy so I passed on that, but that wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. Overall I was happy with my stay.
Overall I had a great experience! The hosts are very friendly, accommodating, and respond to messages pretty quickly. The apartment itself is very spacious and clean, and the location is also quite convenient. It is right next to Boston Commons and there are several restaurants and malls within walking distance.
Could not asked for a better location. Will stay here again.
Yes, the apartment is clean, in a convenient location, and the hosts are responsive. However, there is certainly not “lots of light” in the apartment nor is the kitchen “fully stocked”. It is depressingly dark and the kitchen has at a minimum basic appliances. The refrigerator is super noisy as is the apartment - can hear neighbors. The location is convenient, but please be aware that it is on a dead-end street and during our stay we encountered many shady characters hanging around - including someone who tried to enter the building with us. The 5pm check-in is totally inconvenient versus the more common 3pm check-in which makes the $50 early check-in fee a bit much. There is also a 10 am check-out which is about an hour earlier than most Air B&b’s we’ve stayed in. We will not stay here again.
Grateful appartment and good place
Great location and very responsive hosts. There are 2 cozy bedrooms and an a spacious living room + kitchen, which we found very convenient when we couldn't deal with the Boston weather. A lot of good restaurants are within 2-5 min walking distance and we were 40 feet away Freedom trail, which was very handy. Brian and Heather responded to all messages within a few minutes and we had no issues with the apartment. Definitely recommended if you are looking to tour Boston!
Very nice apartment - convenient to public transport and felt safe to stay in as a single woman. Very comfortable clean space. Thanks Brian and Heather!
Positives: This is a fantastic location, especially if it's your first time in Boston and you plan on doing the Freedom Trail (it's right outside your door). Communication with the hosts was great, they always answered almost immediately and allowed us to check in early around 2PM for a $50 fee which was great. This is a perfect airbnb for 2 couples traveling together, since there are two almost identical rooms with a large living room/kitchen area and a nice bathroom. The price was much cheaper than hotels or other airbnbs in the area that I could find. The apartment was very secure, as there was a code to get into the front door, and then another code to get to the elevator lobby. Things to note: Would like to start off by saying none of these things were that important to us or took away from this being a great place to stay, but thought it was necessary to mention in case it's important to future guests. The listing says "large windows that let in lots of natural light". This is misleading- there are 3 large windows but they face into a small opening with other apartments surrounding it so there was essentially zero natural light coming in the apartment. The lighting in my bedroom was not great, and the other bedroom did not have a mirror so it made it a little difficult to get ready without the natural light. The beds were not super comfortable but they did the job. We didn't experience any noise until our last night, but that night the people above us were up pretty late and it sounded almost like they were in our apartment so I think the floors or walls must be pretty thin. Overall, I think this airbnb was a great deal for the price and we would stay here again.
Great location, clean & spacious, and very secure. Bedding & linens are soft & comfy! Within walking distance to the Public Gardens, stores, restaurants, & historical sites. Great communication with hosts. Highly recommend!
Great location, clean & spacious, and very secure. Bedding & linens are soft & comfy! Within walking distance to the Public Gardens, stores, restaurants, & historical sites. Great communication with hosts. Highly recommend!
Overall very good airbnb and experience. Cute nice spacious and very clean apartment, perfect for group of 3-4 people. Could have better to describe in detail how hard it could be to find parking around especially for people who driving car to one of the most expensive cities in East coast, that would be appreciated (parking overnight is around $40-60/day) Location is very convenient cause it walking distance to every where , however, if you don’t plan to do taxi/ uber, just be aware the airbnb is in the small alley where the theater it’s gonna be supper difficult to load/unload luggage and pickup/drop off people . Overall, thanks hosts for making the apartment nice and welcoming , you’re very responsive as well
Great location with parking in the heart of Boston.
- 5 stars definitely - Excellent location to downtown Boston! - Apartment was clean and the communication with the hosts Brian and Heather was excellent - would definitely book again if I was in Boston
This listing was perfect. Perfect size, place and hosts! They were very responsive and helpful.
Brian & Heather’s apartment is in a coveted location right along Boston Commons and the Freedom Trail. It was clean, and just as advertised - we lover our stay here and enjoyed the history lesson through photographs in the lobby that show adjoining streets centuries ago. The appliances were brand new, and the place had a perfect balance between a minimalistic feel with an adequately stocked kitchen and bathroom.
The space was good for what we needed - we didn’t spend too much time here as we were in town for a wedding. Space was as described, clean, central location. Only con was the walls were very thin. As we were there over the weekend, we heard lots of noise and conversations from the hallway and neighbors at 12-2 am that woke us up - which isn’t ideal… but overall a good value stay!
Good and in great condition great location to the shops cafes and bars would definitely recommend
Overall we were very happy with our stay. The apartment is great for 2-4 people and is in a great location to access everything you want to do in Boston.
Had a great time in Boston, very easy city to get around. We'll be back.
Great place to say close to everything, exactly as shown. There are elevators to get up but also a really nice set of open steps inside the building and it’s just one flight up which is nice for coming and going. If you were a really light sleeper there is some noise from surrounding units but typical of most any apartment building. Clean and tidy place. Comfortable beds. Soft towels.
Excellent experience! Location was fantastic with all city attractions within close proximity. Condo was clean and comfortable. Thanks for the great stay.
The Airbnb was a great size and was incredibly clean and well put together. It was well equipped and came with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the place was warm. It is in a great location right by Boston common and with a lot of restaurants and shops on the doorstep. The walls are fairly thin and so you could hear external noise from the neighbouring apartments or hallway but this was infrequent as in general the building was quiet. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and very responsive
Lovely flat, great style, absolutely clean and communication worked amazing. Absolutely recommend this flat.
Very close to Boston common, Backbay and downtown. Apartment was clean. Check in and out were easy.
This stay was exactly as advertised. We were only there for 1 night, but will definitely stay here again hopefully for longer. Thank you!
Late check in (5pm) and early check out (10am). Otherwise nice place and great location.
This place is something that you will love to stay. Great restaurants are just around the corner. Super convenient to get around Boston including the subway stop. Linens are clean! Our family had a great time here. We highly recommend this place.
I came to Boston for a business trip and this was a super pleasant Airbnb stay! The place itself is very cute and nice, and the location is unbeatable. Just steps away from Park Street gives you access to both the green and red lines. I also really enjoyed being next to Boston Common & The Public Gardens where I ran in the mornings :) I'd definitely stay again if I'm back for work.
Hosts were responsive.Unit was clean.Location is good but random people were dumping food leftovers, smoking pot and throwing up on the building entrance stairs more than once. The elevator wasn’t working but luckily we were one staircase away. No outside windows so not enough sunlight in the apartment. Suggest to add a mirror in the bedroom and hangers in the bathroom and a complete set of glasses in the kitchen.
Briana and heather are great hosts, the area is in a great shopping location and near the Boston commons, the apartment was clean and beautifully decorated!
Excellent location and incredible hosts! Brian and Heather went beyond the call to help us with parking, extra linens, AC tech support and more. Unit was clean and well managed. Highly recommend.
We had a very easy and comfortable stay thanks to Brian and Heather’s excellent communication and the terrific location of this condo. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.
Brian & Heather were amazing hosts. They communicated well & had a beautiful, clean, place. I would recommend this AirBNB to anyone!
A great spot! This condo building is located at the Boston Commons near so many tourist attractions such as the graveyard where Paul Revere, Sam Adams, John Hancock and more are buried. Secure building and easy to get to for navigating around town. Only negative is the elevator wasn’t always working, but we were only a staircase away from the main entrance , so it wasn’t inconvenient. Luckily on our last day, it worked (building problem). Brian & Heather are very responsive and get you what you need (if anything comes up). Highly recommend.
Best location and very clean apartment 😊
Great location! And very communicative hosts. Only complaint is walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors but it was not a problem for us.
I wish we could give this condo a better rating. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The location was convenient. It was well represented in the AirBnB listing. However, there was a couple of inches of standing brown water in the shower when we arrived. Unfortunately, we didn't realize it until later in the evening and understandably it was too late for our hosts to call a technician. Their suggestion was to try plunging it. We worked on it for a while and got the water to drain. But the minute you ran the shower again, dirtier brown water stopped back up. The frustrating part about it for us was that a guest had a similar experience the previous month. So this seems like a chronic condition that needed better attention. The hosts were fairly responsive and provided a partial credit, but we were really disappointed to have to take sponge baths before hopping on a ferry the next morning. A couple of other notes...the unit doesn't seem overly well stocked (no complete set of glasses, etc). We ate dinner at a restaurant and grabbed breakfast on the road. So to be clear, it had everything we needed to stay the night. But I think we would be wanting more if we were planning to stay multiple nights and dine-in. And while the location is good, the building is located at the end of an alley. Coming home from dinner at dusk there were a couple of guys smoking pot just hanging out on the steps in front of the building that I had to kind of push my way through to get into the building. I noticed a previous guest also reported something similar. I think overall, it is a nice unit. With a little extra attention (fixing the shower drain once and for all, replacing partial sets of glasses, etc) it would be a very nice place to stay.
The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had and were knowledgeable about the rental and area.
Overall lovely place, right at the heart of Boston. However on both evenings we were there, found random people sitting on the steps at the entrance and smoking. & otherwise totally empty street. Felt a little sketchy. A "no loitering " signboard would make a difference.
I had a great stay at Brian and Heather's place. The place was very clean and in a great location right downtown.
Great location in walking distance of everything. Unit was a great set-up, fresh and clean; beds low to ground but comfortable mattresses. Good lighting. Nice size living area/kitchen which didn’t get much use, though it was good to have the space and also the conveniences of a washer/dryer if needed. Some minor improvements could have made it great (“5”) … a working electrical outlet in bathroom, shelf and towel bar in shower, hooks in bathroom, a mirror in each bedroom, coffee/tea in the kitchen. Would I rent again? Absolutely! Be aware cancellation policy is firm regardless of circumstances.
The location is great / right in the middle of everything but it’s in a busy area so if you plan to bring a car think twice. The host is good at communication. But in our case there was a drain problem in the shower and the hose was unable to repair it. This made our living experience horrible. I am still being generous and objective in giving the star rating. But in honesty we had a terrible experience. While the host was responsive (it’s a business for them they manage 97 properties and have the same canned responses for trouble tickets) it was clear they did not want to really help help because they were just saying the right things without having to do the right thing. They sent a guy with Drain-o and no tools to fix the drain clog in the shower! 🤷🏻♂️It’s because they don’t want to hurt their profit margins. That part was clear. We had to change our entire plan and just cut our trip short. The tenant upstairs also was making thumping noises all night long and the bed wasn’t comfortable to sleep in (mattress seemed worn out). So if you’re ok with a host that prioritizes their profits over your comfort and even basic dignity then go for this one. Just saying sorry multiple times and doing nothing about the situation isn’t the way to take care of your guests.
Place was clean, perfect location, and lister had great communication. The place however was a little too pricey for the size and view and limitations.
This apartment is in a great location for just about everything. I enjoyed being close to good restaurants and public transportation.
Absolutely perfect location. Brian and heather are super responsive and helpful. The flat is a great space too with a great kitchen.
Great location. Comfortable and clean.
A wonderful apartment with an ideal location. Very clean and well organized. Great communication with the hosts at all times. Highly recommended!
Great location. Inexpensive linens, no coffee or any kitchen basics. Few comforts.
Great stay in a great location.
Awesome stay! Clean and in a great location
The apartment is in a great location. The unit was as described and Brian and Heather are extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
Great location. Apartment was very clean and we were able to have a very pleasant stay in Boston.
Nice clean apartment close to Boston common and subway. Beds are very comfortable with nice linens and plenty of pillows.
Functional. Clean. Near many things to do in Boston. The unit is very clean. Host was very responsive. The unit could use some added amenities, like more than one drinking glass in cupboard. Noise from units above is noticeable but not entirely unexpected.
Everything was clean and the green couch was too cute. Check in was easy, and will definitely be staying again
Great stay and perfect location
I want to thank Brian and Heather for being great hosts! Check in was smooth. From receiving the instructions on a timely matter, directions on how to enter the building/room, and having the room ready on time. The location is great! Walk across the street and you are near the subway and the Boston Common. It wasn’t noisy in the apartment building and it’s surroundings. Walking distance to a lot of great places to eat and easy for food deliveries if you are looking to stay inside. Communication was great and they were responsive in minutes! Lastly, nicely kept up apartment and had all the necessities to feel as if we were living in that apartment - stable internet for work or movie streaming, Towels/linens, washer/dryer, kitchen essentials, and a heater (came during a blizzard). I would definitely recommend booking here!
Close to everywhere, very convenient
Very welcoming and clean place just make sure to ask the host for parking pass on time or you will have to find your own parking which is not easy… but overall great place❕
The place was a great find. Perfect location and very accomodating.
Make sure to read all of their notes on checking in and out.
Great location! Cozy and nice place to stay! Definitely will come back!
Great location right in the city and apartment really clean
Clean, private, and secure apartment. Across the street from the Boston Commons in a nice safe area. We greatly enjoyed our stay here and would come back!
Great communication and location was ideal.
A great stay. Was exactly as described. Great communication, clear check in instructions. Would definitely recommend. Thank You
Great location walking distance from historic sights! Complete kitchen and spacious living room!
Amazing stay!! Excellent location, close walking distance to everything. Comfy, and stylish! Would definitely stay here again!
Tucked away into an alleyway that opens straight into the heart of Boston downtown, super convenient walking distance to literally everywhere. Freedom trail? right there. Quincy market, you betcha!
Apartment is exactly as pictured, very central location you can walk to downtown and an Uber is like 5 minutes. Good price and great stay!
This was a great apartment in a convenient location. Very clean and well maintained.
Location, location, location!! If you’re interested in the Freedom Trail, Downtown Boston or the North End (Little Italy)—this is the perfect place!! Just across the street from Boston Common, we loved it. If you’re coming in by train, we were also able to walk from South Station. The cherry on top? A beautiful apartment and the most comfortable beds we’ve experienced in an AirBnB. 10/10, would stay here again.
Great location, easy experience. Would absolutely stay again!
Great location and very clean, lovely apartment! Located right next to the Orpheum Theatre and very close to the metro. Had all the basic necessities, would definitely recommend.
I was expecting a very nice stay for how much we paid $$$$, maybe the rates were hiked for Boston Marathon weekend. The location is good but the apartment has no outside windows and the walls are very thin. The first night our neighbors had a raging party and the third night someone was moving above us around 6am, both very loud.
Very clean. Good communication. Recomend.
Great communication. Everything they said was accurate. Very fast responses even late at night. Very professional.
The beds were very comfortable and we found a fan that made our sleep even better. It is a cool place with a nice kitchen. Next time we will try to coordinate a stay with a cool act at the Orpheum theater next door. I would recommend staying here
Great host, great communication from start to finish. Will stay here again
This place was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, centrally located, and near the train. The building is also secure with with double entry locks helping us feel safe in a large city.
Great location and great communication
The location and overall quality of this Air BnB was exceptional and Heather and Brian kept the best communication with me every step of the way!!! Highly recommend using them next time you’re in Boston!
First time renting with Airbnb and Brian and heather did not disappoint! The place was near every place we planned to visit. Only downside was the homeless people on the road that try to follow you. Overall I’d stay here again.
great spot. well located and equipped.
The apartment was in a great location, so close to Boston Common and Downtown Crossing. We were also only a ten minute walk from the North End! The apartment itself is clean and safe albeit sparsely decorated. If you plan to do any cooking, make sure to bring oil, spices, etc. There are plenty of cooking tools, but no food items in the house.
Great stay. Brian & Heather always responded quickly. The apartment was neat & clean. We love the modern, simply design. The location was great. Night street parking was free (from 8 pm to 8 am) and easy to find.
Great location and a very comfortable. We were able to walk to many top sites to visit and check in was very smooth. Hosts are exceptionally quick to respond. Would highly recommend.
We had some air conditioning challenges. Undiscovered for a few years, and definitely not the Host's fault. It has since been resolved and no future guests will have this problem. They were very accommodating and responsive. It is not a typical hotel area. You are in the heart of everything as far as historically touring goes, we loved it. We were a family, and in by about 9:00pm each night. It was great for us...kids not less than 9-or over 18- would find it very convenient. Sadly, after 9:00pm it gets a bit more concerning. Not unsafe really, but unsavory. But coming from San Francisco--that just what big cities have encountered lately. If this is your first trip to Boston, and you want to take History tours...I could not recommend this place highly enough!
The air conditioning was not functioning and the apartment never got below 80 degrees due to poor outdoor circulation (the windows face an enclosed area). Hosts could not solve the problem and we had to leave and find a hotel. We requested a refund and it has not been received. Other than malfunctioning A/C and non-responsive non-problem solving hosts, I concur with the other positive reviews.
Photos of this place are really misleading, as it has absolutely no daylight. Rooms are dark even in a very sunny day. And you can’t see what’s the actual weather like outside:) But the location is perfect, right next to Boston Common.
This was a great airbnb overall! It was very clean and the pictures are a very accurate depiction. They were also very accommodating with our check in. The only downside was that the area was a little sketchy at night so I wouldn’t recommend walking at night. Uber straight to the door though and you’re good!
Nicely appointed apartment in a fantastic apartment. Easy access to the Common, public transportation (red & green line at Park Street), and walkable to many great neighborhoods in the city including Beacon Hill, Back Bay, North End, etc. Great apartment for a visit to the city. Thanks Brian + Heather!
Location is great, communication is prompt, space is newly remodeled. We parked in the Boston Commons Garage and it was convenient. Downside is that the walls and floors are very thin and you can hear conversations and people walking around in the upper unit. The management does take noise complaints seriously and tries to help, but I think it’s more of a building structural issue. Also, this unit doesn’t have much sunlight bc al the windows are facing a narrow column of walls. Considering that the unit is in the middle of Boston, it was good value for $199 per night so I’m overall happy with stay.
We had a great stay! Very clean and organized
The apartment was clean and just as the pictures showed. The location was perfect as it was close to the MBTA and Boston Common (the beginning of the Freedom Trail). Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The hosts responded promptly to all of our questions. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
A friend and I each needed a bed and warm shower for a single night, and this place exceeded our expectations! Very convenient location and was actually very roomy for just the two of us.
Great location and accommodations!
The location of this property is great. However, it was as though we were residing in a college dormitory. Parties and loud walking all hours of the day and night from the people above us. Not one restful night of sleep. When I contacted the property manager she reassured me that there are strictly enforced quiet hours. This is not accurate. You can hear people running and yelling down the halls and partying even on work days. One girl from upstairs knocked on our door and tried to come in to our room. She did not even recognize the large number on the door or the fact that there was someone she did not know opening the door. Additionally, none of the electric sockets worked in the kitchen (we asked and were told to flip the circuit- this did not help). We made coffee on the floor next to the tv. There were no pans for the oven, but a couple for the stove. It was easy access for the T and downtown, but for the price charged, I was extremely disappointed.
The apartment is even bigger than it looks in the photos. It's super clean and nice. The location is just supreme. It's right next to Boston Common.
SImple & clean spot in a great location. Has everything for a nice comfy stay and very central to everything you need.
Great place and location near everything you need. 5 stars
It was great place good location, very clean...
Great place. Comfortable. Perfect location for anything downtown.
This location was great and very clean and tidy. You’ll be 5 minutes walking from the T. Great walkability to other locations, food and stores. I loved that a washer and dryer are provided (make sure to bring detergent). Beds and space are comfortable to be in. The location is very convenient and responsive to messaging if you need them. I do wish hand and dish soap was available (this may have been a cleaning persons error).
Place was beautiful and located close to everything!
10/10 so clean, easy access, so close to downtown. Will definitely visit again.
The whole unit was impeccably clean, secure, and in a perfect location in the heart of Boston. The beds in particular were very cozy! The upstairs neighbors were a bit noisy at times but that’s the chance you take with an apartment unit, and we didn’t mind since we were mostly out exploring the beautiful city just outside the doors.
Highly recommend this great property!!
It’s a redone building and is accessible. We were very happy not have to carry our son’s wheelchair up the steps. Elevator worked and self checkin was not a problem. It was also easy to pop out and head to the commons without a lot of fuss. This area has a lot of homeless folks, but we were not particularly bothered too much. Security personnel helped clear away some folks who were sitting on the steps to the building, which was nice. The apartment is clean and layout was good. The only issue I found was that this particular apartment looked into a small opening and not outside. So window of one room looked into window of the other room of the apartment. Finally, be very diligent about booking. The host has a very strict policy on refunds. No early check-in or late check-out available either. We had unforeseen changes, and had to cancel, loose some of the $, and then rebook another apartment managed by the same host.
The apartment was perfect and the location was excellent. Also, this was by far the cleanest air bnb I have ever stayed in. Brian and Heather were really great hosts and really great with communication during my stay. Would definitely stay here again!!
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with Airbnb. When we checked in there was no hot water or wifi. On top of that, the heat had not been turned on so the apartment was freezing. The host said they would move us to a larger apartment in the building at no extra charge, but moved us to a smaller one that ended up having water bugs. They then told us we could move again to the larger one and the rate was the same in either unit. We were tired and didn't feel like lugging our stuff around again so we stayed in the smaller unit. They then told us the wifi was out in the building and they would bring a hotspot the next morning. We did not get the hotspot for two days, and they were not proactive in communicating the delays. Finally, they agreed to give me a partial refund for the lousy experience, but I have still not received it's over a week and a half later. I understand things happen, but hosts should actively try to solve problems. I found these hosts horrible. I will never stay at one of their locations again and would HIGHLY recommend against booking with them.
Nice place, very clean. Hopefully owners will be able to resolve issues.
