lower your exposure! Security on-site, and 2 Elevators. Units are professionally cleaned and disinfected between every stay.
This beautiful apartment has exposed brick and an industrial feel, but also the warmth and comfiness of an inviting home. What makes this space unique is it's history. The building hallways all show historic photos of the neighborhood dating back to the 1800s! Just steps from the Boston Common, this building has had many tenants over the decades, from retail shops to manufacturing companies!
The building has an ADA compliant entrance, two elevators, two staircases, plenty of storage for trash, and even an Amazon Locker where you can send packages. (at the time of writing this description we are currently setting up the locker, please confirm if it is operational when you book!)
Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed, from the linens pillows and mattress to storage and lighting. Most bedrooms face inwards into a lightwell, or outwards into a city street, so you may not have "Amazing" views of a city skyline, but you will likely have a nice dark night sleep.
Each apartment is equipped with a smart lock and the building has an intercom system which allows a full, self-check-in experience.
The building is also monitored live by a third party security firm, 24/7 and we have an on-site security guard, nightly, from 8pm-2pm for your safety.
We will give our guests the privacy they require with the support they need. We have coverage for virtual help from 7am-11pm and can help with any guest needs from 11am-7pm.
Just steps from the Boston Common, this neighborhood has had many personalities over the decades! Since the early 1900s, the area along Washington and Tremont Streets, roughly from School Street to Beach Street, has also been referred to as the Ladder District. Now it is most commonly named Downtown Crossing as most of the city's Subway's or (T-lines) intersect at Park Street station. The MBTA's Downtown Crossing subway station directly serves Downtown Crossing. The State Street and Park Street stations are within close walking distance. Silver Line service is also available. You can get literally anywhere in the city for a few dollars and a Tpass.
The apartment building is located on a dead end street which means it's super quiet for automobile traffic, but still has the lively city feel as foot traffic is sure to be noticeable any time of day, even in the winter. The Boston Common is only a few hundred feet from the entrance to the building.
Important to note is that lately there has been a gathering of homeless people during the day and night, right outside the 7/11 around the corner. The high foot-traffic provides them opportunities to pan-handle. Please use your caution, and common sense. We've never had an issue, but for folks visiting from towns and rural settings may find this surprising, even concerning.
We've taken measures to make sure our guests are very safe and comfortable during their stays. The building is monitored 24/7 live by a third party security firm. The Boston Improvement Department does nightly walks of the property and nearby streets. We also have an on-site security guard, nightly from 8pm-2am for your safety.
Shipping up to Boston? We put together a great guide filled with information for getting around the city and beyond!
Downtown Boston is easy to navigate. It’s compact, walkable, has an abundance of taxis, yes they still exist! And Uber's are always a tap away. What makes Boston so accessible is it's public transportation system. Driving downtown can be a challenge with its dated road layout and limited parking options but, it’s the most convenient option for travel outside of Boston Proper.
The MBTA is Boston’s public transportation system, and it’s a great way to get around quickly and cheaply. The “T” refers to the subway, which runs throughout Boston, into Cambridge, and into nearby suburbs, providing access to all the attractions located in Boston. Just look for the big "T" in a circle to find a stop.
You can also take buses to get all over the city, and the Commuter Rail is an easy way to get to points outside of Boston. You can buy paper “Charlie Tickets” for single or multiple subway rides at vending machines located in most stations. When your ticket runs low, visit a fare vending machine to add value. A single basic fare for the T is $2.75 with a Charlie Ticket, although if you pick up a Charlie Card (a plastic card like a credit card), the fare is lower at $2.25 for one way. You can load the Charlie Card with an amount of your choosing, so it's smart way to explore the city. They're available at almost every T stop, and are free to get. Once on board, hang on! Being one of the oldest public transportation systems in the country, the T is not always the smoothest ride.
Parking. or "Paahking" is hard to find, expensive (by most tourists accounts) and is best done in lots or garages for peace of mind. Please check out a website called "Spot Hero" to find the most updated options and prices!

This was the perfect place for a friends reunion weekend. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean, with all the basic amenities. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice to have plenty of room and seating in the living/dining/kitchen area. The location is conveniently close to a T station or to walk to restaurants.
Great Locations, great space and great cause. Thanks for having us!
Great place to stay for a Couple of nights, beautiful space and very central!
We had a great time staying. It’s soo close to everything. Responsive and friendly host too!
Stayed over a weekend for a friend’s wedding - very central, close to everything, clean and cozy! The team was very responsive and we had all the amenities we needed. Check in and out was clear and seamless.
Central location, easy access, clean and clutter free apartment all made for a great stay in Boston.
This place was in a great location to walk around Boston with easy access to the North End and train stations. The building was under renovations when we stayed and had some issues with smoke alarms and the front door, but generally felt there was solid value here.
Place matched the description and a great host.
Location is outstanding!
The location is fantastic ! Walls, ceiling / floor are a little thin. You hear everything in the rooms around, but if you are out and about during the day usually at night time the sounds is less. The location is worth it.
The place was very nice, newly remodeled and very clean. 3 Bdrm and 2 Bath made a stay for 5 very convenient. As per a couple of other reviews there were some homeless people on the side street of the building at night, but we did not feel threatened in any way. Location was great for walking to the Freedom Trail (super close) and other attractions.
We had a nice stay at this apartment. It was as the posting described, but it would have been nice to have pictures of the bathrooms ahead of time. It was in a nice location and the host was very responsive and helpful. I would stay here again.
Pros: perfect location, 2 mins walking to subway station. Close to the park as well Cons: Very noisy - the subway passes close to the apartment from early in the morning until late night. Amenities - The hairdryer is not working. The bed is damaged as well.
Nice stay, close to everything. Hosts were super responsive and extremely helpful. Space worked out really well for the week. Cooked a couple times - kitchen equipment is very basic but was able to make it work. Would recommend if you’re in town for a few days and want to be central.
The apartment and location were excellent.
We were very pleased with the accomodation, clean and modern and right in the centre of Boston! The host was able to offer a parking option which was a bit pricey but absolutely worth the cost as were found driving in Boston to be a challenge. We would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again ourselves.
We were very satisfied with the accommodation’s. Thanks
Great little condo in a wonderful location. Walkable to so many great sites & places to eat. The parking was a little tricky, but with a little planning it is absolutely manageable. Would definitely stay here again!
It was a great stay for all of us. We had a little trouble getting into the building, but once we got it figured out there were no issues. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!
This apartment was fantastic! Incredible location right next to Boston Commons. The space was gorgeous, perfectly clean, and exactly as described. Highly recommend!
This Airbnb was wonderful. Very clean just as described. A great value for the money and a great location. It was close to everything. Would highly recommend
Great location. We were able to walk to all of the local spots we wanted to see. Literally a few steps away from the Freedom Trail. Place was clean and well maintained.
Location, location, location! The apartment is directly across the street from Boston Common and close to many Freedom Trail landmarks. Easy walk to wharf, too. Several restaurant options in area. Depending on which bedroom you’re in you’ll have some street noise during the night but that comes with such a central location. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This home was absolutely perfect for our stay! The location is amazing, just steps from Boston Common. The house was super clean…beds were comfortable…host was very quick to respond. Highly recommend!
Great stay! A bit noisy due to construction work in early morning but great location and apartment!
So glad we found this newly renovated location! Right in the heart of Boston, close to the Boston Commons, market and many more. Very clean, well equipped and very comfortable We will definitely be back in the future
This place was great. It was very clean and the instructions to get in were thorough. It was the perfect place for our stay!
Our stay here was comfortable, convenient and close to the places we wanted to see. Transportation was readily available, plenty of food options near by and great watering holes. Would stay here again.
Very good place
The apartment is in a great location and we would walk just about everywhere we wanted to go. Place was clean and beds were comfy!
We loved our stay! Close to everything. No complaints whatsoever
This location is very central to almost everything you would want to do in Boston and if there was one thing to say, this would be it. The "T" subway is right next door, but, please be aware you will feel / hear the subway every 5-10 minutes as it rubble by. There is no way around this. For us, we did not mine as it was part of the Boston experience. The building itself is very old and walls between apartments are very thin, so much so, you can hear and feel your neighbors presence. This was a bit of a disturbance as we wanted quite time as when we arrive the time difference between time zone made us sleepy and wanted some quite time. Examples are early morning garbage trucks, street high-pressure hose washing, more than average homeless peoples just outside both Front and Back doors to the building, and finally the neighbors upstairs stomping and moving their kitchen chairs squeaking across the floor. Text message Communication is real-time with host at all times which is positive
Mostly exactly as described, and hosts are super responsive and helpful. The only thing I'd flag is that the building location and building itself, while super central and convenient, were not *the most* inviting. A little noisy, and a little confusing with lobby construction—but apartment itself was super spacious and clean. Laundry and other amenities were great too!
A little expensive for the home inside but considering the location, it’s fine.
The location was pretty stellar being right off of the Boston Commons and right across from Yvonne's restaurant! However, be aware of the fact that in the few blocks nearby there are a LOT of homeless people and it can get a little scary. The inside of the BnB was great! I wish there were more photos in the listing, but was so pleasantly surprised that the place was super cute and very clean. Was very impressed with the host's instructions - however it could be more clear how to enter/exit the building and that there are two sides. They were doing major renovations when we stayed and it would have been nice to know that. Overall, really impressed with this place and we really enjoyed the stay!
The location of this place is great, lots of sites, shopping and food choices within walking distance. The unit has everything you would typically need for a short or long term stay. There is good closet space, but not really any storage or surface space besides that (including in the bathrooms). That wasn't so much of an issue for a one-night stay, but typically we like to unpack our bags if we are staying longer than that. As some of the other reviews said, the room on the outside wall of the building is subject to the city noises. There was still construction in progress on the ground floors of the building when we stayed, but it wasn't disruptive to the stay other than reduced elevator capacity. The stairs are quick and easy though. I should note that there were a handful of steps to get down into the main living areas that I don't recall being described in the property details. Not a big deal for most, but be aware if you have mobility issues.
still some construction work in entry floor, flat lovely but limited wine glasses
We had a great stay here! Excellent location literally 2 minutes from the tram and only a 15 minute walk to most places. A bit of construction going on in the building, but check in was super easy, the apartment was very clean and well furnished, and the hosts were great with communication. Would stay here again!
The location is awesome. Close to the Commons, Quincy Market, T stops, the theater district, the North End and lots of great restaurants. The unit was very clean and quite comfortable. Highly recommend it.
Loved the location of this place… we were able to knock out pretty much every single historical and tourist spot in one day from this spot. Comfortable sleep, only thing is it had a very strong gas smell when we first checked in, I guess it could of been from the first floor construction, but was hardly noticeable by the time we checked out.
Great apartment, centrally located.
Clean, Convenient, Modern, Affordable, Host easy to work with. Would for sure stay again.
Very nice place in super location near subway. A bit of a corporate feel with minimal kitchen amenities beyond basics. MAJOR renovations happening in lobby which means entrance path routinely changed each day, though it was not noisy in the apartment. Check-in/out times are not ideal. Also church bell rings throughout whole night and is quite noisy in one of the rooms (away from street), so bring ear plugs.
The host was very responsive when we had some concern about the construction dust. The location was super convenient and the apt was exactly as it’s depicted online. Overall it was perfect for what we needed on this visit.
My family enjoyed our stay in this cozy, comfortable apartment. The rental company was fantastic about responding to our needs. Thank you!
The location is good, the price is worth it, the space is big enough for lots of people. Overall is a really good experience, will come again.
Great stay this past weekend. Had a lovely time hanging out and visiting Boston. I'd highly recommend this listing.
During my recent stay at this charming Airbnb in Boston, I was thoroughly impressed by its prime location, making it an exceptional choice for travelers seeking convenience and an authentic city experience. This Airbnb not only provides a comfortable and inviting space to unwind but also serves as a perfect launchpad for exploring Boston.
Great host. Nice, clean place and good location
It was a very good apartment and everything was super clean. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, everything great. The only thing is that when we went the lobby was under construction wich was just uncomfortable. Also it is located in an alley and during night it could get loud and a little scary with people screaming.
This place would have been super ideal, except for the unexpected construction/major renovation happening in the building. The noise at 7 AM, which was 4 AM my time made it impossible to sleep, and also impossible to work remotely over zoom. Also, the elevators were glitching and were hit or miss on whether they would work. The apartment itself was tastefully, decorated and comfortable. The only thing that would have made it better are some shelves in the shower and in the bathroom in order to put toiletries somewhere other than the floor.
Great location. Walking distance to main points and also a metro station so close. In addition they were always responsive to our doubts and requests.
Stayed with my family during year end and was a great place to stay. Cozy, clean, unbeatable location, newly remodeled. Would definitely recommend it!!!!
The apartment was very clean and the space was as described.
Great location and well maintained place. This is a perfect location to stay and roam around Boston downtown. However it would have been even better if there was registered parking for the residents.
I really enjoyed my stay at this healing homes property. There was plenty of room for our party of three. The apartment was clean and free of clutter. We enjoyed the many restaurants and the shopping that was close by. Check in and out. Instructions were clearly communicated. We would stay there again. 5/5
The apartment is very nice with a great location in Boston Conmon. Great for a family of 4-6. We came with our kids ages 4 and 2 as I was attending a conference. A few unfortunate occurrences - construction right outside the building starting at 9 pm until 1 am. Jackhammering woke everyone up. What can you do. The internet stopped working for several hours. While the interior apartment is nice, what is supplied (towels, paper towels, toilet paper, kitchenware, bed sheets) was incredibly cheap. The whole building is rented to VRBO And the apartment above us was having a party Friday night which made for a second restless night. Happy with location and the size of the apartment but the rest is a gamble. Management was very responsive to bring us ear plugs and sound machines.
The space was very clean and tidy and was in a great location in the city. The late check-in time (5pm) was worrisome, but we were given the okay to leave our bags in the apartment while the housekeepers finished cleaning. Overall, this stay is a bit pricey but I would stay here again.
Their was no notification that the lobby was under construction. We looked past that but were disappointed when the neighbors were loud throughout the night (seemingly doing construction). We appreciated how clean the room was and the available washer + dryer. The places was as pictured but it seemed expensive for what we got overall.
Super easy to find and convenient stay in Downtown! Great for exploring Boston and plenty of nightlife around to experience
First of all, the place is in an excellent location. The hosts were extremely responsive. If you are sensitive to city noises it might not be the place for you, but we loved it. You are definitely in the heart of the city and can’t get a better spot. The apartment and beds are very comfortable. My only real complaint was we asked for an earlier check in (2 pm) because we were leaving early the next morning and wanted to have as much time as we could in Boston and the hosts charged us an extra $50. That be said, if you are traveling with friends or family and want a great city location, I would recommend this place!
Great place very close to Boston Common and the convention center. Near the children’s museum, too. Very nice. Not much food in the kitchen (e.g. spices, oil etc.). The old building makes a lot of weird noises at night, and there is definitely some street noise too. But it’s bearable.
Great apartment to stay right next to Boston Commons
Good overall - little noisy but noise machines help
We LOVED the stay! The perfect location to see all the best stuff in Boston. If we ever take trip back to Boston, we’ll look no further than Brian and Heathers place to stay!
Great stay! Communication was excellent!
Great location. When I had questions Heather and Brian were quick to respond.
Location is PERFECT for downtown Boston. Across the street from Boston Commons. Unit was clean, photos are accurate representation. Main lobby of the building was under major construction during our stay, did not effect us at all but would have been nice to know beforehand. It is a city apartment, so bring fans/sound machines if you want restful sleep. Brian & Heather were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process. Would definitely stay here again
Great place to stay to see the city! Very convenient, clean!
Muy buen sitio, brian y heather nos atendieron muy bien
Perfect location and very comfortable for our family. We would stay there again.
Very nice condo located in the heart of Boston near everything you’re going to want to do on a trip to explore.
Spacious and great location! You can walk to almost everywhere and different subway stations are very near as well. Check in and check out hours are a bit inconvenient but you can ask for early check in and late check out.
Great location! Loved our stay in Boston.
Advertised as apt with parking not mentioning the fact that there's only 3 spots security was supposed to be present at night never saw them a vagrant entered the building and urinated between floors in stairwell 4 places at diner table for 6? Street barely safe after dark, well situated but that is it.
Wonderful apartment in the heart of Boston!
This apartment is beautiful and my kids felt like they were living the city life dream! We loved the exposed brick and the overall layout of the apartment. Having 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms in downtown Boston was so nice and we were so close to everything! Brian and Heather were amazingly communicative, helping me with logistics on parking, unloading, and navigating city life with kids and a dog! I really appreciate your help. Our weekend was seamless and we felt safe and comfortable here.
The apartment itself was great and the hosts were friendly and responsive to my emails. However, the noise from the above tenants was intolerable! Sadly for us, the hosts didn’t seem to acknowledge or try and fix the issues. Having people stomp around, slam cupboards, jump up and down on beds, what seemed like moving furniture around their apartment for hours and hours and hours, even through to 2am in the morning is absolutely not acceptable. It would have been nice for the hosts to step in and make change, instead it was apparent they just ‘shrugged us off’. If loud, obnoxious noise from other apartments don’t bother you, then I would recommend this Airbnb. Upon reading other guests reviews, I know we aren’t the only ones to experience this from the tenants above us.
We were very happy with our stay. The apartment is exactly as described. It is in a very central location and steps from a T station. It was very clean. The instructions were clear on how to enter the building and the apartment.
The apartment was great. It had everything we needed, was clean, and felt safe. The location is truly unbeatable for easy access to public transportation. It's also basically a mile or less walk to most major sites and shopping areas. There was regular downtown street noise, but nothing that was overly disruptive. Just put your heaviest sleeper in the bedroom with the window.
Amazing location and my family and I had a great stay!
Host provided clear instructions from check-in to checkout and was quick to respond to any questions. The unit was exactly as pictured. The entire unit was extremely clean, which was important as we had an infant with us. The location was centrally located for us and we were able to walk to most of the major areas and attractions within 20 mins. The only complaint we had was with the noise. The subway and street noise didn't bother us since it was to be expected in the location we were in, but the unit above us was extremely loud which sounded like running/stomping. The last night of our stay was during a weekday and sounded like construction was going on until midnight with hammering and things being slid around the floor above us. Overall, would recommend this host and would absolutely stay here again based on cleanliness and location.
Great location. Clean interior of unit (building is getting renovated fyi). Hosts are great communicators too. Worth mentioning that sound travels into the unit readily so if you're not a heavy sleeper then bring earplugs and/or a sound machine to minimize impact. I'd probably still stay here again due to its great location.
Very nice condo. Parking was tricky, download a parking app. to find a good close space. Very convenient location. Block to freedom trail.
Great location - walkable distance to Boston Commons, lots of supermarket and Chinatown. Clean and spacious.
nice place, clean and great area. only downside was how loud the room on street was; bar crawlers out all night and into the morning. definitely worth bringing earplugs/white noise if you are staying in that room. otherwise a great place!
Location is great! Very clean, livable space. Felt secure.
Great location, spacious and clean apartment . Will definitely come back next time in town !
Great place to stay right in the heart of it! Easy access to the whole city, right by the train line and Boston Common!
The host was very communicative and helpful. The place was amazing, with a lot to do around, quite central and walkable. Would highly recommend
This place is perfect, Brian and heather were very responsive with all the questions we have along the way
Great hosts and wonderful place to stay! Was very convenient to everything and I loved the decor.
We loved our stay here. It was exactly as described and very easy to get to. Loved that it was close to the train and the beginning of the freedom trail. Would for sure stay here again.
Really great, responsive and friendly hosts, amazing room, good location
Very nice place to stay in Boston city center :) !
This apartment was in a great location. We were in the center of everything.
Comfortable and very clean apartment! Exactly as described and in a great location.
Easy access, very clean. The apartment is in a great location. However, it’s definitely not for someone who loves tranquility. The first night was loud and there were other guests or residents stomping around in the apartment above the unit. There is also a very discernible rumbling coming from the subway. We embraced it and had fun. Again, great stay otherwise. Would definitely come back!
Great location near Boston Commons. Easy walk to everything. Nice size for a place in Boston and easily accommodates six. A little noisy at night but it’s the city.
This place was great, it had everything we needed and the location was ideal. We found a parking garage about a 10 minute walk away that had in and out privileges and we paid $250 to keep the car there for the week for various excursions out of town. We also got Charlie cards and took the T as much as possible. Some points to consider: One of the bedrooms is quite small, with a queen size bed there is not even room for a door to open, and it has a pocket door that doesn’t quite close all the way. There is street noise from people in Winter St. at the front of the apartment (beware to light sleepers.) Perks include: a second entrance on Winter St. that is easy to use. A nice entryway that is great for taking off shoes and coats. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils. We had 6 people and never ran low on hot water, had plenty of space in the kitchen and living room. Beantown Pub just one block away was really convenient. Overall a wonderful place to stay.
Excellent area and apartment
Great place. If it’s available on my next trip, I will stay there again.
Wonderful place in the hearth of the city. Shops and public transport in walking distance.
great location, great apartment and great host. but it is little noisy in the evening and even in the middle of nights due to homeless people and the subway.
Great place in a great central location! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.
My co-workers and I have stayed at Brian + Heather’s listings a few times. Always smooth and easy, conveniently located near the T too.
Location perfect. Close to Subway and restaurants. Very lively area. Loved the overall atmosphere of the surroundings. Loads to do and see. Felt extremely safe. A few homeless people hanging around but never bothered us too much. As far as the cleanliness of the apartment, I felt they could have done a bit better. Bedding in one of the bedrooms were stained and the duvet inner without a cover was just put on the bed and a flat sheet put on that to cover the inner. The other two bedrooms were very clean so I dont know what happened that the cleaning staff oversaw the bedding in the middle room. Brian and Heather however fantastic hosts. Very responsive to messages. The area a bit noisy in the morning from about 6am but who wants to sleep late in any case in Boston. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone if you want to be in downtown Boston. Thank you Brian and Heather for a great stay. Hope to visit again soon.
Really great spot.
All pretty good, but AC and urground were little noisy. Location and hosts are great!
Great location and really responsive and accommodating hosts! Highly recommend!!
The location could not be better for walkability to Boston Commons and the quaint neighborhoods there. The condo is very clean and three bedrooms allowed everyone to have their space. The kitchen is beautifully renovated and spotless. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is substantial noise from those in the floor above (movement of feet late into the night) and from the street. This unfortunately did disrupt sleep. I would bring noise cancelling headphones, earplugs or loud fans! We opted to pay the $20 to get a parking pass, which was very much worth it to be so close. If you need a centrally located spot-this is it!
Excellent location! Right near Boston Common and the theater district! The apartment was really lovely!
Excellent communication, location is perfect, great building. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable. It could use a cosmetic upgrade and some minor fixes ( a couple holes in the plaster in bathroom, toilet paper holder and towel rack mounted sloppily) and to be considered “5 star luxury” I’d suggest some more decor and upgrade on linens and furniture. But overall a very nice, convenient space for a few days in Boston. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
Awesome place! Our family of 5 stayed very comfortably with plenty of room. Location was perfect and communication with host was quick and easy. Would definitely stay here again.
This building is in a very central downtown location. The main entrance is on a little dead-end street with the Orpheum Theater at the end and Suffolk Law School across the street. The building is a 2 minute walk to either the Downtown Crossing (Red/Orange) or Park Street (Red/Green) T stations. We were able to walk to Chinatown, the North End, lots of historical sites, the Garden (i.e. where the Celtics play), and the Greenway all within 15 minutes. There was some street noise and some down on their luck loiterers, but the neighborhood overall was very much improved over what it was 10+ years ago when I commuted here every day. Get food from Chacarero while you're here! The unit was squeaky clean. One bedroom lacks a window to the outside. All bedrooms have sizable closets. The unit has some interior stairs, which has the effect of making it seem bigger. The building is not fancy, but it is clean and all of the elevators worked. Would stay here again.
The location is conveniently close to the theater district and government center. "The Bakery" is near for yummy pastries and baked goods for breakfast. The apartment was clean and had what we needed. Check-In is at 5pm and check-out was 10am. Our visit felt rushed and abbreviated since the availability to the apartment was limited. We had a show and movie to attend the first evening, literally threw our bags in and left. Adding an additional hour, 4pm would be suggestion. The building is on a dead end street. At the beginning of the street is the entrance to the subway and the 7-11 mart. The characters that tend loiter there are bit shady and aggressive so be aware of your surroundings at dusk.
We really like Brian + Heather’s apartment. Every door can be opened by code, so you don’t have to bring your keys. Very comfortable, and felt safe enough. Also Train/Bus station is just next to apartment. Easy to find. They were responding me as soon as possible.
Great experience in Boston!
Exactly as listed and for a good cause. Communication was excellent. I strongly recommend.
This place is in an outstanding location in Boston - right near Boston Commons and downtown. You can walk to many of the places you may want to visit including Seaport and North Beach. It's very nicely appointed and newly renovated as well.
Great apartment and location! Clean, well stocked, comfortable beds. It can get a little noisy at night with noise from the street and church bells ringing. White noise machines provided in each room. We will definitely stay here again!
The apartment is lovely and in a perfect location!
Our group enjoyed our stay very much! This stay costs more than I would typically spend on an Airbnb, but you really can’t get much better in terms of location. Walking distance from basically everything! We also felt very safe here with the codes to enter the building. Hosts provided adequate communication and even allowed us to check in early. We give Brain + Heather 5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
That was an amazing experience. Location was perfect. Apartment was perfect. Everything was perfect. We loved the place. Thank you
The apartment was a nice place to stay during our visit to Boston. It was SUPER clean, had everything we need, cute, spacious, and modern. Heather and Brian were very communicative and fantastic hosts. It is walking distance to lots of restaurants, central locations, and the T station - it was definitely convenient! But with that convenience comes a cost, as the entry to the apartment is down an alley that felt a bit unsafe sometimes (there were often groups of sketch people hanging out right in front of the door to the building, and even people in full fights at times). This is of course nothing in Heather or Brian’s control, just something I would want to be aware of when planning arrival times to the apartment. Noise was also an issue, church bells often were going off very early in the morning and there is noise from the street and the neighbors as well — nothing some earplugs can’t fix, but again, something to just be aware of when packing! If you want to check in early, the earliest is 2 pm and it’s an additional $50 fee. With all this being said, I would stay at this apartment again. It was really great for a group and again, none of the above issues are in the hosts control. Just something to be aware of and to plan for! Thanks Heather and Brian for a great stay.
Stay was great! No issues! Host was helpful and informative
This rental is in the heart of DOWNTOWN. We spent 5 days. Walked everywhere to everything. Place was clean and photos shows accuracy. You won't go wrong staying here.
Well located and great response & communication with owners
It was awesome for 3 couples. I’d return for another fun stay!
Very well located. In the middle of the action!
Had a great stay with my friends here! Brian and Heather were super helpful and got back to me right away with any questions I had! The listing is exactly as described! I would definitely stay again!
Our stay was terrific! The common area was a great place to hang out, and the three bedrooms were comfy and perfect for three old friends to reunite. Heather and Brian were super responsive, and check in and out was easy. A bit loud into the night, but did not disturb us. Location is excellent. We took the T and walked most places. I recommend this place highly.
The apartment is nice, clean and as described. The truly great aspect of this stay is the location. You can easily walk to many places. We walked to Faneuil Hall, Fenway and lots of other great places and restaurants. The downside is the noise, especially when sleeping and especially in the bedroom closest to the street. I would suggest earplugs. Overall, great place in an amazing location! And the owners were very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.
Great location. Walking distance to the subway and attractions was the best part. Exactly as described.
We enjoyed our stay at this location. Hosts were quick to respond to questions. Unit was clean and spacious. We were on 4th floor, and could hear things going on above us, but it didn’t last late into the night. We would stay here again.
Great location, great hosts and a great condo! Walkable to so many attractions. Highly recommend.
Brian and Heather’s place was just as great as the pictures showed! They were easy to communicate with and responded quickly anytime I had a question. I highly recommend this stay!
Great location however this is a very noisy apartment. Not sure what goes on upstairs but it seems to involve dragging furniture around a lot at all kinds of hours. The windows look out onto Winter Street which is busy until late at night and then the rubbish collectors are out first thing in the morning. The T trains are relatively ignorable by comparison. Make sure you pack earplugs if you need to get a reasonable nights sleep. The closeness to Boston Common and the T trains make this a great base for walking around this lovely city or for going further afield. We had a good week here.
This place has a great location just off of the Boston Commons and a lot of great historic sites in the area. We were able to walk to tons of things from the place. The beds were quite low to the ground, but comfortable. We mostly ate out and didn’t really use the kitchen, but it seemed to have the basics. Overall, the place was great for our trip and had everything we needed.
Very nice, comfortable beds, great location! Everything was perfect !
Brian & Heather’s place was perfect for our short stay in Boston, and provided ample space and comfort for our group of 4. Would certainly consider booking with them again!
Great place. Excellent location. Comfortable and cozy apartment.
Overall the stay was great, mainly the location is very good for my family. We enjoyed being able to walk towards all the Boston tourist locations we wanted to visit. It was relatively close to the Boston commons parking garage.
Great location and good value for the square footage. The downside of this rental was that there was a lot of noise while we were there: renters on the floor above us moving furniture at 6 a.m. and regular rumbling from the nearby T trains. Brian and Heather were excellent communicators and kindly provided us with ear plugs and noise machines. As long as you're prepared for some noise, this is a good rental for three bedrooms and two baths literally steps from Boston Common.
Stayed here for a vacation with my 2 kids. Great location near multiple T lines and a nice grocery store a block away. Apartment was completely fine though could have used a slightly better equipped kitchen and minor cosmetic improvements, lots of scuffed paint, lobby was a bit dingy. Overall was happy with the stay. Team was very responsive to a noise complaint. About what I would have expected for the price and no major complaints. Good place to stay for a family vacation. Late check-in of 4 or 5 wasn’t great, felt like the $50 fee for an earlier check in was a bit nickel and dimey. No major complaints. Overall, it was a good place to stay and I would make the same choice again.
Beautiful apartment in a great location to walk to all sorts of Boston attractions. Brian and Heather were super responsive. Will definitely book again for a future Boston overnight!
Good location. Nice apartment. Responsive host. Would stay again!
Great location and beautiful place!
Super cute apartment. Close to everything!! The Commons, the Freedom Trail, the subway, food, and the cutest local grocery store, Roche Bros. Our coffee pot died on the second day and it was replace within an hour. Brain was very responsive and had a new coffee pot to us within an hour. This apartment is definitely a win!!
Great place to stay in Boston! Highly recommend! It's located near Boston Commons and the Park substation so catching a ride to anywhere was very easy. Our condo was clean and perfect. We were somewhat worried there might be some city noise because of where it's located but it was never an issue and we hardly even noticed it. Our hosts, Heather and Brian, were the best! Communicated with us all the way through with great instructions and directions. Anytime we sent an email to them, we got a response back within minutes. They even checked on us during our stay just to make sure everything was okay or if there was something we needed. You won't be disappointed staying here.
Location is amazing. Place is amazing.
This place is not a luxury condo. It is pretty cheaply remodeled and poorly taken care of. I would not stay again nor did I feel very comfortable with my family while I was there
This AirBnB was right in the heart of the city, an easy walk to pretty much anywhere you want to go and the subway is just outside too if you want to go someplace a little bit further.
WONDERFUL LOCATION! My family and I had a great stay in town to sightsee, tour the city and loved the location. Space was as advertised and had all of the basics you’d expect.
Great place. It is better than expected. A great job
Excellent property with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths! Kitchen and living room provide lots of flexibility. Location is close to everything so it’s easy to plan activities. 7-11 store for quick purchases and a ton of eating options are within a short walk. I’d recommend this happily! Hosts are great and respond promptly!
Great location, close walk to everything(we never used Lyft/Uber) subway station close as well clean and spacious for family - enjoyed our stay - hosts were awesome- fyi limited convenient parking can be obtained for an additional fee -
Great location! Super nice & clean place. Very secure building. Communication with Brian & Heather was fantastic! Very prompt in responding to my questions. Highly recommend this place!
Good stay overall. spacious, close to local attractions. highly recommend
Very nice apartment, very clean and comfortable. Location is tremendous, one of the best imaginable in Boston. Walking distance to a variety of destinations and literally steps to the green, red and orange MBTA lines. Check in was very easy. Brian and Heather are very responsive - quick replies to questions. Highly recommended for exploring Boston.
Great space. Hosts were very great with communication. The location is great, being right across the street from the train was a big plus. So many places nearby to eat or pick up food to bring back.
We enjoyed our time in this apartment and appreciated the proximity to many things especially the Boston Common which we love. Brian was quick to return all of our emails and texts. While the apartment is comfortable and aesthetically decorated, I would not describe it as “luxurious.” If you drive here, be prepared to have to problem solve parking while you are here and unloading your car, especially if a show is happening at the theater next door.
Awesome apartment in a super location. Easy walking access to restaurants and bars. Brian and Heather did a great job communicating with us and making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend this property
Great location for first timers in Boston that want to visit schools, eat from Boston’s best and also take in some sightseeing. 3 individual bedrooms. Good space. Safe neighborhood. Loved our stay.
This is a terrific apartment in a superb location -- a wonderful place from which to explore Boston. The three bedrooms were simple but attractive, and the beds and linens were very comfortable. The extra bathroom (two side-by-side full baths) was suprisingly valuable even for my party of just three people (a parent and two kids). Nice common areas as well, though we didn't use them as much because we were out and around Boston. The late check-in time of 5 p.m. was a turn off, but it was easy enough to kill time in the area. We parked at the Boston Common Garage (relatively convenient and less expensive than the on-premises parking) and though we didn't have in-and-out privileges, we were able to access the car as needed to store our bags. The hosts were incredibly quick in their responsiveness at all times, from planning through our stay. A lovely spot from which to explore a lovely city!
The location was great. Very centrally located. Clean place with a full kitchen, which was a plus. My group and I had a great St. Patrick’s weekend here!
This place was so precious! Well decorated and definitely worth the stay! thank you guys for hosting us :)
Nice spot, perfect for our stay
Exactly as shown. Awesome location, close to everywhere! Very responsive host! Definitely worth the price!
A cool older building that’s been modernized to great effect. Luxury might be a stretch but it certainly was lovely. Brian and Heather were phenomenal in their helpfulness and responsiveness. The location was perfect for the shopping, shows and dining we had planned for a girls weekend. I would definitely return
Brian + Heather are excellent hosts! Had a great experience at their Airbnb.
This was the perfect spot! It was an oasis for our trip to Boston! After enjoying the sights, shopping and food we had a beautiful place to stay and call home for a short time! Definitely worth it!
clean and close to town.
Beautiful place and great location! Everything we needed for our stay.
Great spot and easy access to town. Went to the Celtics game and it was very close. Will definitely be staying here when I return to Boston.
Clean, spacious and well stocked loft in great location. A bit noisy as walls are pretty thin but overall a great stay! Appreciated quick replies from host and safe check in/security system.
Great spot, easy travel, really nice apartment, bit noisy when comes to train but perfectly fine!
Very nice time. Needed the break
Excellent experience, very accommodating.
Brian & Heather, were pleasant hosts, so quick to respond and help. Their home was truly comfortable & spacious. We could have not asked for a better place to stay especially with kids. The Airbnb is located in a perfect area, right by Boston common, the perfect location to be. The apartment was extremely clean, The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were the perfect size and all essentials were provided. Anyone looking to visit Boston, I would highly recommend that you pick this Airbnb .
Clean and comfy
It’s a great experience stay Boston with Brian + Heather!
Amazing place, beautiful, clean great location. Worth every penny
Great location, close to everything. Place is roomy with three large beds in three separate bedrooms. Communication with the host and check in process was stress-free. Place was clean, and met our expectations. A bit noisy from the street at night.
Wonderful loft perfectly located downtown. Be aware this is an old building and you will hear sounds approximately from everywhere ! But we really enjoyed our stay (family with 2 teenagers) and slept very well. Definitely recommended!
Comfortable apartment, perfect location. Very early check-out time (10am) & very late check-in time (5pm); keep in mind you can extend both for additional $50 each.
Perfect place to stay for family or friends. Very spacious and clean. Beautiful brick walls throughout the apartment but still bright with the large windows throughout. Location was key and in walking distance of many places. Kitchen has everything you’ll need if staying in. Check in and check out were easy. Brian and Heather respond quickly for any communication needs. Would rent again if I come back to Boston!
Excellent, clean apt in a great location.
Highly recommend!! Brian and heather were great and always replied very quickly. The location was perfect and the apartment was very clean.
Lovely apartment! In a great location next to Boston Commons, and amazing cafes. Clean, and comfortable beds. Would stay here again!
Fantastic location! Right in the heart of Boston. We purchased the parking pass but probably would not do so again. There are only six places for the entire unit and even with a pass they are still first come first served. We bought the parking pass but ended up having to pay to park somewhere else as a spot didn't open up until the following day. Not a big deal, just FYI. Communication with hosts was great and unit is exactly as described. We were traveling with an infant and always travel with a sound machine for her so noise was not an issue for us. My only suggestion would be that it is missing some of the personal touches most of the other Airbnbs we've stayed in have...more along the hotel line. But the beds are comfortable and again the location and hosts were great!
Awesome and seamless stay!
Really fabulous location and large comfortable space! While some of the furnishings were “builder grade”, it was a great value for the price!
The loft was so much better than we anticipated. It was perfect for our time in Boston. Perfect access to downtown Boston. Extremely safe area, walking around the area at all hours of the night and never a concern. Hosts clearly explained that parking was not provided and we found extremely affordable parking 3 blocks away. Using SpotHero as the hosts recommended to us.
Great location right in the heart of things! Beds were very comfortable.
Excellent place to stay, comfortable, clean, also excellent location.
Fantastic location. Large condo with an easy layout. Access was simple and check in a breeze. Extremely clean condo. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful space, full of natural light.
Easy communication with the host, providing us with a late check out at 1pm which was VERY helpful. Clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend!
Very convenient location- walking distance to the harbor, North End, Boston Commons, downtown, Freedom Trail and dozens of great restaurants. Unit has nice decor, very comfortable beds. Recommend using the Winter St entrance. And check out Roche Bros grocery just 1 block up Winter Street.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! We could not have landed a better place. Do yourself a favor and book!
Thank you Brian and Heather for a wonderful visit to Boston. My children and I loved it and will be back again!
The location alone makes this place a very very ideal stay in Boston. I will also say the hosts were very quick to respond at all times, communication was great. However for the price.. there are a few things that we wished were different. For one, the noise. Tenants above us screaming and blasting music at 7 am. A loud train like noise constantly throughout the night. Additionally, some of the appliances / area was a bit more run down than expected - for an air bnb that stresses taking pictures of things that were broken upon check in - we had to send quite a few. Overall we enjoyed our stay here because we were able to explore boston from a pretty great home base location. Just thought a bit pricey for what we were given!
We were charged a greater price than what was actually displayed in our initial transaction and were not made aware of the transaction being nearly doubled.
Great location, clean and comfortable. There are two flights of stairs down to the main part of the apartment. Towels are included. We really enjoyed our stay.
Excellent location. Clean rooms and punctual communication. Recommended!
Rent only if you don't mind noise! The rental company aka "Brian + Heather" is professional and communicates well. It seems like all units in the building are short-term rentals.
We loved our stay with Brian & Heather! Response time was almost instant on any little question we had. The pictures online are exact- it’s beautiful and spotless. Check in was smooth and fast- everything has a code. There is a security guard on premises sometimes sitting at the second door or wandering around. You are located in walking distance to everything, there is a cute brick alleyway behind us that has stores and eateries down the sides of the road - lots to explore! We did the on and off bus tour and learned a lot about the history of Boston. Our stay was surrounded with a few points of interest that we saw on the bus . Do yourself a favor and buy the parking pass from Brian and Heather if it’s available to you! Parking costs were big city prices around town and pretty scattered, getting a metered spot was like winning the lottery! It’s not like NYC where every car was a cab- I think I saw 3 the whole trip! We loved our stay, when we come back to Boston we will try to work our schedules to Brian and Heather’s availability because this is we’re we want to stay! The fact that they give back to help people in one of the biggest, scariest fights of their lives is so heartwarming- as a cancer survivor myself I truly understand what a huge blessing this is!
Overall the stay was okay for the purpose we needed it for - a one night stay before heading to the airport the following morning. There was a closet with no door on it displaying what looked like old and/or dirty rugs and other items in the hallway - just a bit unsightly. The TV did not work. The couch looked a bit dirty and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken…just some touches that made the place less than 5 stars. Also, there were people yelling LOUDLY in the building around 4:00am and woke us up...I'm guessing they were drunk. Okay place, it was clean and centrally located, but not worth the price in my opinion.
Great hosts. Perfect location. Close to everything. Clean unit. Comfy beds. Would book this every time I visit Boston.
Pros: Great location. Nice appointed rooms and kitchen. Easy check in. Large TV screen. Thick towels. Clean. Modern. Updated. Cons: Extremely noisy (beyond what living in a downtown location of a large city is like since I live in one). The building is mostly, if not all as temporary housing. Not all are responsible. Next door neighbor (406 perhaps?) partied with loud music and lots of yelling until 350am. Building does not require carpeting so we could hear all the movements upstairs. It was like living in a frat house that partied all weekend. Did not deliver the value the price implied.
Brian and Heather have a great set up! The photos they have of the Airbnb are a great example of what you will walk into. Location is really central to everything in Boston that is local. Highly recommend anyone to use their properties!
Beautiful apartment and great location! Would love to stay there again.
The location was phenomenal, it was extremely clean, and very updated; I don’t have many complaints at all. Brian and Heather were quick to respond to all messages sent to them and were also willing to work with early check-in/check-out. By far one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed at.
The place was clean and so conveniently located near the red, green, and orange lines of the metro. If you are using public transportation, this is a fabulous place to be and see all of Boston! The couch was comfy. That sounds silly to point out, but it was a big deal to us! :-) The beds were comfy too. It was just my daughter and myself, no guys with us, but we felt safe at all times. The entry to the building is pretty secure, and there are cameras inside the public areas of the building as well, making us feel even more secure. When we return to Boston, we will for sure be staying here again!
Great space, very clean. Very prompt communication
Great large apartment in a perfect central location. Heather was very clear in instructions and everything was as described. Great spot for a weekend in Boston!
Great place, location, and hosting! Definitely will come back and recommend it to friends
Good location. However, some major concerns. First, the room was not clean upon arrival. A medical patient had stayed in the room prior to us as we saw the hospital wrist band in the trash. The owner said he would refund the cleaning deposit. He did not. We cleaned the place after a cleaning crew arrived as they did the minimum. This was not the room we rented. We were not informed of the change. The owner said there was a "computer error" early in the month and the room was double booked. However, we stayed at the end of the month and nobody told us until we arrived. The room was similar though. Not a major issue. When asked about why the change and not cleaned, the owner verbally attached us on the phone and said we had a great place and not to complain. He stated if we were going to complain he would cancel immediately so we could not write a review leaving us without a room reserved in Boston for the holiday weekend. Lastly, there were a number of homeless people outside the entrance door (two different means to enter the place). We saw a small drug deal occur once when we were entering. We did not feel threatened though.
Great space!! We had an excellent visit, thank you Brian & Heather.
My stay was great. They are wonderful/kind/understanding people who respond very fast. I will definitely be coming back.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
