This beautiful apartment has exposed brick and an industrial feel, but also the warmth and comfiness of an inviting home. What makes this space unique is it's history. The building hallways all show historic photos of the neighborhood dating back to the 1800s! Just steps from the Boston Common, this building has had many tenants over the decades, from retail shops to manufacturing companies!
The building has an ADA compliant entrance, two elevators, two staircases, plenty of storage for trash, and even an Amazon Locker where you can send packages. (at the time of writing this description we are currently setting up the locker, please confirm if it is operational when you book!)
Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed, from the linens pillows and mattress to storage and lighting. Most bedrooms face inwards into a lightwell, or outwards into a city street, so you may not have "Amazing" views of a city skyline, but you will likely have a nice dark night sleep.
Each apartment is equipped with a smart lock and the building has an intercom system which allows a full, self-check-in experience.
The building is also monitored live by a third party security firm, 24/7 and we have an on-site security guard, nightly, from 8pm-2pm for your safety.
We will give our guests the privacy they require with the support they need. We have coverage for virtual help from 7am-11pm and can help with any guest needs from 11am-7pm.
Just steps from the Boston Common, this neighborhood has had many personalities over the decades! Since the early 1900s, the area along Washington and Tremont Streets, roughly from School Street to Beach Street, has also been referred to as the Ladder District. Now it is most commonly named Downtown Crossing as most of the city's Subway's or (T-lines) intersect at Park Street station. The MBTA's Downtown Crossing subway station directly serves Downtown Crossing. The State Street and Park Street stations are within close walking distance. Silver Line service is also available. You can get literally anywhere in the city for a few dollars and a Tpass.
The apartment building is located on a dead end street which means it's super quiet for automobile traffic, but still has the lively city feel as foot traffic is sure to be noticeable any time of day, even in the winter. The Boston Common is only a few hundred feet from the entrance to the building.
Important to note is that lately there has been a gathering of homeless people during the day and night, right outside the 7/11 around the corner. The high foot-traffic provides them opportunities to pan-handle. Please use your caution, and common sense. We've never had an issue, but for folks visiting from towns and rural settings may find this surprising, even concerning.
We've taken measures to make sure our guests are very safe and comfortable during their stays. The building is monitored 24/7 live by a third party security firm. The Boston Improvement Department does nightly walks of the property and nearby streets. We also have an on-site security guard, nightly from 8pm-2am for your safety.
Shipping up to Boston? We put together a great guide filled with information for getting around the city and beyond!
Downtown Boston is easy to navigate. It’s compact, walkable, has an abundance of taxis, yes they still exist! And Uber's are always a tap away. What makes Boston so accessible is it's public transportation system. Driving downtown can be a challenge with its dated road layout and limited parking options but, it’s the most convenient option for travel outside of Boston Proper.
The MBTA is Boston’s public transportation system, and it’s a great way to get around quickly and cheaply. The “T” refers to the subway, which runs throughout Boston, into Cambridge, and into nearby suburbs, providing access to all the attractions located in Boston. Just look for the big "T" in a circle to find a stop.
You can also take buses to get all over the city, and the Commuter Rail is an easy way to get to points outside of Boston. You can buy paper “Charlie Tickets” for single or multiple subway rides at vending machines located in most stations. When your ticket runs low, visit a fare vending machine to add value. A single basic fare for the T is $2.75 with a Charlie Ticket, although if you pick up a Charlie Card (a plastic card like a credit card), the fare is lower at $2.25 for one way. You can load the Charlie Card with an amount of your choosing, so it's smart way to explore the city. They're available at almost every T stop, and are free to get. Once on board, hang on! Being one of the oldest public transportation systems in the country, the T is not always the smoothest ride.
Parking. or "Paahking" is hard to find, expensive (by most tourists accounts) and is best done in lots or garages for peace of mind. Please check out a website called "Spot Hero" to find the most updated options and prices!

Loved this place for our girls trip! Fit 5 girls comfortably. The location is so perfect, right next to the Boston Commons and Beacon hill and walkable to other destinations. Would 100% stay again
Beautiful apartment, very clean and comfortable. It was like a hotel, in that there were little toiletries and perfect white linens. My only wish was that there was a few coffee servings for the morning. Noise that other people mention here and there is expected for being right downtown. The apartment was great. Beds were comfortable. Furnishings in living room and kitchen were not super comfortable but attractive.
Overall the space was great for our group of 3 couples. The beds are large and comfortable. There are two bathrooms. The kitchen is clean. I would just remind anyone booking that the check-in is at 5pm and checkout is at 10am which isn't ordinary. They can accommodate early/late for additional fees but something to call out. Other than that, we really liked it.
Spacious apartment, well equipped and very well located to go out and have everything close by.
The location cannot be beat! I would recommend using the entrance on Hamilton by the Orpheum Theatre, the street on the back entrance has a lot of concerning folks. We fell in love with the Bean Town Pub just a block down the street! The unit was absolutely perfect and clean, I highly recommend!
Had a great stay! Clean, good location, easy instructions.
The rental itself was exactly as described. Was great having a 3 bedroom unit in Boston at a reasonable price. This unit makes all parts of Boston walkable. Absolutely great location. My only issue with this place was the main page of the listing said “free street parking”. Found out morning of check in there is no free parking and you are on your own. There are parking garages near the rental but will cost you more money and makes check in and check out with all your bags a little trickier.
Healing Homes was a different experience for me. Of all the times I’ve vacationed, I’ve never stayed DT and it was a little uncomfortable and/or uneasy for me, but I felt secure in the bldg itself. The apt. was really clean. During booking, the host(s) was very upfront about the possibility of noise due to being DT and a club nearby. They also were proactive and gave us several day notice that hot water will be off. So they gave us plenty of time to prepare and plan for showering, etc. They were also doing construction inside and outside of bldg, so be prepared to walk to a construction zone free area if you’re doing a ride share. Great location. Walking distance to everywhere.
Pictures to airbnb are accurate. Wouldn’t recommend being outside this airbnb past 1-2am as there is wierd activity late. But, good experience and has everything you need.
Ridiculously late check-in time (5pm) and overly early check-out (10am). Unresponsive host didn’t provide instructions for purchased parking spot so had to wait around in our car until the host bothered getting back to me. Apartment was not cleaned at check-in time so we had to wait an HOUR for the cleaners to finish. For this price we expected better.
Great location for all things Boston. I would recommend it to anyone staying.
The apartment was as advertised, but it is pretty bare-bones and sparse. The lobby was under construction but there was no noise that affected us. It was fine for what we needed and was very centrally located (as others have mentioned, that comes with its own pros and cons). The beds, pillows, and linens were very comfortable, and the air conditioning was wonderful and much needed. The very late check in (5pm or pay for earlier) and early check out (10am or pay a fee for an extension) was not appreciated. Overall, it was fine; nothing fancy. I do think their mission is admirable and worth supporting.
Great place to stay. Very clean, and functioning AC. Had everything we required for a two night stay. Responsive host as well. The only downfall is there is no parking. Otherwise the place was beautiful!
Really nice vibe to the apartment, well equiped. Entrance still under construction, so less charming. Very eentral to Boston and perfect support. We loved the stay.
Amazing place I highly recommend a cruise
Amazing place I highly recommend a cruise
The location for the stay was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Centralized and walking distance to many things. It was clean and the host was quick to respond. The sinks and showers did not drain great and bathroom doors did not lock, but nothing too critical for a night or two stay. This place does house multiple units and upstairs neighbors were quite loud late into the night which was a surprise but I’m sure not uncommon when comparing to other places to stay in the city. Overall, it comfortably fit all 6 of us, was clean, and we would definitely stay at this place again.
Overall our stay was okay. The location was central, and the rooms were clean and large. We loved the door/window overlooking the street. It would have been nice to have been informed that the lobby was under construction, this was alarming upon arrival. We had a few issues during our stay with TV and ceiling leaking; however, Healing Homes was very responsive. The queen-sized bedroom wall is against the neighbouring unit, and it was very noisy, as these guests were partying all night, despite the strict 11 pm quiet time. Elevators and entry to the building worked sometimes but were not reliable.
From far the best air bnb experience I have ever had. clean, nice and very quick responses to all my questions. Thank you very much to all the team.
Great stay Well worth it
Clean, comfortable, located walking distance from freedom trail and Boston common.
Perfect solution for us for a quick one night stay in Boston for the Red Sox game. Awesome location right across the street from the Park Street T stop and just a short walk to Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, the Aquarium, etc. Main lobby area was being renovated while we were there so contractors were present but it looks like it’s going to be wicked nice when they’re done. Our unit was newly finished and perfectly furnished/outfitted for short or longer term visits. Love their mission to provide affordable peaceful housing for patients visiting Boston for medical treatments and glad we could help contribute to their effort. Highly recommend!
This is the perfect spot if you want to be close to everything in Boston. Private. Comfy beds. Spacious. Super clean.
Would absolutely stay again. Fantastic location right on the common and convenient to a T station. Clean and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. The main entry to the building (keypad entry) was finicky. There is a second entrance to the building that worked better; I wish that had been communicated to us. There was a problem the day of checkin with our parking reservations but it was ultimately resolved with the host.
This was exactly what we needed for our one night in Boston before our cruise. It was cheaper than a hotel and far cleaner too!! Well worth it!!
Excellent location right off Boston Common - could walk everywhere including the Freedom Trail. Very quiet location and comfortable beds. Very response hosts!
Our family had a wonderful stay! We were in a perfect central location and were able to enjoy the great weather walking to the Prudential Center and Museum of Science! The beds and pillows are so comfortable and the living space was great for our 6 person family to gather.
Great location and very attentive host!
Great place for couples who are out of town. The entrance to the upstairs was under construction and trying to navigate the building was a little difficult. However, the actual unit was great.
Super clean. Wonderful location. Would go back. Full stop. Two things to note: 1. Read the house rules carefully before booking. As a healing home they’re more restrictive than most. It’s not the ideal place for noisy night owls. 2. The building is under construction. The room is gorgeous, but we walked into a lobby that was a full construction site complete with many wires hanging from the open ceiling and mudded but unpainted walls. For a moment I thought “uh oh, this is the AirBnB horror story I’ve heard about”. It was anything but. The second floor was completely finished and the apartment was gorgeous and clean.
The flat looked as described. But every piece of furniture--couch, chairs, table, beds--was the cheapest, lightest, most unusable version imaginable..There was no way to comfortably watch TV, read a book, rest or eat a meal. The furnishings felt as if apt for a stage set. Nothing felt solid. That made it very unwelcoming and unusable. Even the paper towels were so cheap and flimsy that they didn't work. I replaced then with store brand. Also, while there, multiple things failed to work. Thrice the front doors locks didn't open the door which meant standing on the street hoping someone exited. A bathroom drain needed fixing (which they handled promptly) and last, the dishwasher leaked all over the floor as I prepared to leave. I checked out early for a hotel. If the furniture was upgraded for grown ups who actually use chairs and sofas, and the beds were real mattresses instead of foam facsimilés, and it had some basic staples it would be great.
This listing was exactly what we needed! Clean, friendly hosts and walkable to everywhere! We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is well furnished with everything we needed, and was pristine. The location is very central and within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The construction on the ground floor only slightly detracted from the experience.
Check in isn't until 5pm or you have to pay $50 for an "early" check in of 2pm. Location was great and the apartment was comfortable and clean.
Amazing property & location! Highly recommend!
My friends and I had a lovely stay. Great value for the location and very responsive host. Only negative is that that there was no street parking anywhere nearby (and no free parking anywhere nearby), and I just wish we knew in advance so we could have planned accordingly.
The apartment was very nice and clean, with good lighting, a spacious living room, and all appliances were functional. The location is also great, in front of the Boston Commons park. I would highly recommend a stay in Healing Homes.
Great location, very central and accessible. Be aware that there is construction on neighboring floors that you will have to navigate and may be woken up by. Overall, really nice place, worked well for our needs for a week trip.
A lovely place, steps to the Boston Common, easy stroll to Newbury St., Charles St. and Chinatown. Comfortable beds, lovely living room/kitchen space.
Great place! Perfect for a weekend trip
We had a good stay! The beds were very comfortable and the home was clean.
Great location, friendly host, & a cozy and clean space!
Everything worked out smoothly and the space was perfect for our group.
This was such a great area with lots to do! The apartmemt was very beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable! Would stay again :)
Overall it was a good stay. The apartment is very clean and cute. Conveniently located in downtown and walking distance to shops and eateries.
Two of my colleagues stayed with me for a sales kick-off meeting in Boston. We could walk to our offices and found the place to be perfect for our needs. We will return again!
The mission of Healing Homes has earned the support of many AirBnB users — for good reason. Their commitment to assisting the health care community, both providers and patients, is remarkable. Suggest you consider supporting Healing Homes the next time you visit Boston.
Good place to stay at Boston!
We have to Travel from the Cape for Doctors appointments at MGH, and having the Clean , apartment in this location near so many shops and restaurants is very helpful. Easy to get to the hospital and downtown crossing is fun to explore.
Great location in the heart of the city. The elevators did not always work, but there are two in the building and two separate entrances. Loud construction happens early in the morning. Thermostat kept resetting itself and the rooms would get very warm especially at night. Host was super responsive, and were able to bring a pack and play within 30 minutes of requesting one. Spacious condo, especially for an older building downtown. Bare amenities - salt and pepper available, no coffee or oil, or paper towels.
We had a very comfortable long stay! Thank you Brian for being super responsive as well.
Loved the location and the place itself. The only downfall was the constant construction so we could not get a good nights sleep.
The location was excellent and the pricing was very fair. Condo was clean with lots of room. We experienced a few glitches (we didn’t have the pin #to change thermostat from air conditioning mode when outdoor temp was in low 50s, circuit breakers for bathroom outlets kept tripping off, lights dimmed and flickered randomly) We did know about lobby construction from previous posts which I believe is why the price was considerably lower than other condos in the area.
Excellent apartment. Super location, spacious, comfy beds. Would definitely recommend.
The apartment is in a fantastically central location, so getting around the city and beyond is very easy. The downside of such a location is the noise (including noise within the building). The property is also located on a street where there are alot of homeless / intoxicated people, which may be an issue if it’s not something you’re used to living alongside. My friends and I appreciated the large bedrooms and comfortable beds and found the hosts to be very responsive and willing to help.
Had a wonderful time staying here. What an amazing place. Very central to everything. We walked everywhere.
The place is in a great location if you’d like to explore Boston!
Listing is super accurate- amazing location and super close to EVERYTHING!!! We felt very safe- this is a downtown in the middle of everything location so yes this is near a subway stop and yes there are unhoused persons around in the general area but we never once felt unsafe. Lobby/building construction is able to be navigated and both elevators worked during our stay. We had a couple of minor issues with electrical items (old building!!) but Brian and Heather were quick to respond and rectify the situation. Overall would definitely stay here again!!
Great location, but lots of homeless on Winter St on back side of building and around the church & market. The area was very walkable, but would not recommend walking alone. My daughter who lives in downtown Chicago did not feel safe. Building under construction- LOTS of noise! Was woken up to hammering at 6:30am after a late night out. The next day 9am hammering, drilling, etc and lots of construction noise that sounded like they were in our bedrooms. I would stay elsewhere next time due to the construction noise. Firemen were called to building twice while we were there - last one was as we were packing and the alarm went off and everyone had to evacuate. Elevators only worked part of the time only, so we felt better using the stairs. There was no water, coffee, sugar, creamer, extra blankets, etc. Very minimal. When asked about throws - I was told how to use the Nest Thermostat. Regarding construction noise I was told a downtown city is both beauty & noise.
Saved a lot on Uber. The only complaint we had was the thermostat kept changing after we would change after we set it. Not sure if it was error on our part or what. But overall fantastic and would definitely book again!! ☺️
Great unit in the heart of Boston! Easy walking distance to public transportation and many local attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here whenever you go to Boston. My family felt at home here.
Beautiful apartment. Exactly what we needed for our brief stay in Boston. Walking distance to great restaurants, attractions, and the T. Would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic location walkable to everything everything was updated and as expected. Only negative was the air conditioning would not go below 79° on their nest thermostat, they had a temperature control set up. We were very hot both nights. Outside of unseasonable hot weather, I highly recommend it.
So happy we chose this place! Looked as nice and clean as the pictures and in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.
The place was great. It was cleand and in a very central location. Hosts were responsive to questions. We would stay again!
Overall, our stay with Heather and Brian exceeded our expectations in every way. Their warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail made this trip a memorable one. We highly recommend staying with them, and we can't wait to return for another visit. Thank you, Heather and Brian, for making our Airbnb experience exceptional!
Fairly nice place, but when we arrived the fridge was not working. We had ordered a bunch of groceries and it was late at night when we arrived. We ended up having to throw out a bunch of food. The host wouldn’t acknowledge our request to cover some of the cost. Also the person responding insinuated we should have checked the fridge was working first, like that’s something that people normally do. Lastly, this is not managed by brain and heather but by an Airbnb management company and never was able to get through to the actual host or to a manager
The unit itself was comfortable and relatively well appointed, but the noise from the construction in the lobby was unbearable. The listing indicates there is a bit of noise that should not impact the unit and construction on the lobby level that should not impact the unit. The unit was impacted. We stayed in a third floor unit and several mornings there was shake your bed incredibly loud construction drilling. Unbearable and starting at 6 or 7 AM. The hosts were unresponsive except to indicate the listing said there was noise and offered a noise machine. The construction is pervasive and there are open wires everywhere. Very unfortunate because the location is wonderful. We felt the need to warn potential future guests of the VERY intrusive noise.
We discovered 6 Hamilton Place last summer. We enjoy the location as it is easy to walk up to the North End, down to Fenway, and over to the Harbor. We went with 2 other couples and had a great weekend.
We discovered 6 Hamilton Place last summer. We enjoy the location as it is easy to walk up to the North End, down to Fenway, and over to the Harbor. We went with 2 other couples and had a great weekend.
Overall, it was a great place to stay with my family. Best location ever! Very clean and cozy, so feel like home. It’s gonna be better if they get ready some extra stools for the table. I want to stay there if coming back to Boston downtown!!
Brian and Heather were responsive to questions and provided clear answers. The space was exactly as shown on the website. The cleaning staff in the building were friendly. The building itself seems to be undergoing some updating in the lobby area but it was not an issue. Everything felt safe and well lit. The apartment itself was clean and the common areas were light and comfortable. The location on Boston Common is unbeatable. I highly recommend and would stay again.
Place was great. A little tricky to juggle parking/luggage drop-off because of location. Window opens to alley below where you can people watch for hours. Only downside is the construction in the building. Starts at about 9am and is quite loud. Everything else was great.
Absolutely amazing Loft. We really couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Clean. Perfect location. Lots of space. Communication with Brian & Heather really could not have been better. I highly recommend staying here. I will miss my new friends.
The location of this apartment was absolutely the best ! In 4 days we never used a car. We walked everywhere! The apartment was clean and spacious (6 adults)… we would definitely stay again. !!
While the apartment was clean and conveniently located, our overall experience was not great. The biggest issues we found were that Bathroom 2’s shower drain was clogged, making it unusable, and Bathroom 1’s only outlet tripped anytime you plugged something in. Beyond that, we noted several other issues, including the front doorknob hanging off the door and Bathroom 2’s mirror un-mounted, exposing multiple holes in the drywall. A maintenance person came out, and the host let us know everything was fixed; however, only the mirror was re-hung and doorknob tightened. The host didn’t respond to my further messages outside of sharing instructions for finding the breaker box. Having 2 full bathrooms was a must-have for our group of 6 adults and was a major inconvenience during our stay. Beyond that, important note that the construction mentioned in the listing begins at 7AM on weekdays, heard loudly throughout the whole of the building. Plus exposed wires, etc. on floors with work.
Great centrally located unit. We walked to most everything we wanted to do. Comfortable beds, spotless well supplied kitchen. Very responsive hosts!
Overall positive experience. Fantastic location - easily walkable to major sites in Boston, with convenient T stop just across the street for farther destinations. Hosts were always very responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here in the future.
a lot of renovations and loud construction early morning. place is beautiful inside but lobby area completely being re done so felt very unfinished
The location is directly across from the park and in the midst of restaurants, shops, and other attractions. The balcony was overlooked a foot traffic street that was amazing for people watching. If I'm in Boston again I will be staying here!
Such a lovely apartment in a great spot in Boston. 4 minute walk to great coffee shops and only a 1 mile walk to Newberry St. Thank you for a great Boston stay!
great spot, convenient and walkable to a ton of sites!
Great centrally located apartment next to Boston Commons, business district, and restaurants. Made more sense for my colleague and me than getting two separate hotel rooms for two nights. Very nice place. My only wish is that they would have provided some ground coffee for the coffee maker, but that’s a small thing.
Great location! Close to start of freedom trail and easy, walkable downtown streets.
Perfect spot for a girls’ weekend in Boston!
Overall the property was decent, but it could use some maintenance and updates (missing drawer pulls, outlet for microwave not working, no dresser in 2 bedrooms). The neighborhood is not great, even though it’s close to a lot of the attractions, and we witnessed some screaming matches, homeless encampments, a few police apprehensions, etc. My biggest complaint is that very loud construction began at 7:00 am each day. Had we known about the construction we would have booked some other place.
Spotless and enormous loft-style apartment. Slightly noisy spot, so not for those who are disturbed at night - but Brian and Heather were fantastic hosts. Responsive, friendly, and helpful with our early check-in. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks for having us!
Lovely apartment! It fit our needs perfectly. Within walking distance to grab some food or coffee. Very comfortable and quiet. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Boston area..
Brian and Heather's place was as described. Our hosts quick response time was extremely helpful with our plans. Their communication, a priority for our group, exceeded our expectations. We would recommend our hosts to friends and family. Location is regarded as a prime spot in Boston Commons!!! Many thanks to our hosts for a wonderful stay!
I staid here with friends for my best friend’s birthday! We were able to walk to dinner and back so we did not have to worry about having someone drive, it was amazing. To park we had to park at the Boston Commons Parking Garage and walk to the address (only about 10 minutes). The place looks just like the photos. They have amazingly big beds and bathrooms, it does not feel cramped at all in the beds or bathrooms. Definitely recommend!
Location unbeatable. Right by Boston Common. Décor excellent with beds way comfy. Atmosphere very trendy clean and pleasant. Checkin/checkout process totally painless. PROMPT response when we had trouble with TV remote(our ignorance not a TV malfunction). Very spacious. All around awesome place. Tiny downers: street noise. One bathroom receptacle was iffy. Couple rolls of paper towels would’ve been nice. And it is quite pricey definitely not a bargain. But maybe that’s just Boston, and the absolutely prime location. Info says they use some of the $ to help families who are there for medical appointments at Dana-Farber etc(which is why we were there), but don’t know how true that is or how much goes to helping other patients
This place was walkable to our office and was a perfect spot for myself and 2 colleagues to stay. Tons of surrounding restaurants and activities. Easy to access with a code entry. Perfect size and super clean!
Overall amazing place to stay. Only complaint would be the lack of kitchen amenities and cleaning supplies. If you plan to do any cooking at home be prepared to purchase extra supplies. However the location is so great that you might just decide to eat out every meal and you’ll be fine.
Exactly as advertised! Great with kids as near Boston Common and aquarium
Family of 4 had a very good experience overall! Excellent Location and place - comfortable, clean, and we felt safe. Brian and Heather were very accommodating.
Had an amazing time right in the center of Boston with friends for my birthday. Place was clean, spacious, and Heather and Brian left clear and easy instructions to locate and access the condo. There’s a parking garage right around the corner about a 5 minute walk. Heather and Brian also were very efficient in answering and accommodating me and my guests. Will definitely stay here again and I recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a long weekend.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again. The apartment came as advertised and Heather and Brian are great hosts!
Comfortable, spacious, peaceful and modern apartment. Best location. Literally in the heart of Boston. Subway station just around the corner. Many dining, shopping and entertainment options. Our family was very happy to spend our vacation there.
Overall great place! Entrance is a BIT off the path and hard to find, but the space is nice and we enjoyed our stay.
Great apartment. Very nice beds and location.
Nice place in the middle of the city.
Great spot in the heart of Boston!
There were a few things that could have been better. Towels were stained, some outlets did not work and the dishwasher was out of order. Also outside the building the street was isolated and there were drug dealers. The apartment was nice and a big space and host was responsive. But due to these we won’t stay again…
We were happy to find a place in Boston (not a ton of choices) that could accommodate our family of 6. We loved the location! Walkable to many Boston attractions. The unit was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts provided noise machines and a fan to help block out city noise. The noise factor did not bother us. I took away one star for a few reasons. The unit sleeps 6 (or more if you use the pull out couch), but the family room area only had seating for 3 or 4 tops. We weren’t able to sit and relax together at the end of the day. Another small couch would be really nice! The kitchen can seat 6, but 4 at the table and two at the counter. The kitchen has a lot of plates and glass wear but the cooking things are a bit sparse. The only other two things are the pull out couch is pretty old and not in great shape ( the bed part), and the bathroom showers didn’t have anywhere to put your soap, shampoo or wash clothes. A shelf or rack would have been terrific! Good stay!
Well appointed and quiet. Fantastic location: around the corner from Boston Common, an easy walk to the Capitol, TD Garden and Newberry St. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.
Comfortable stay, recommended!
Great location, just what our group needed.
The location was SOOO convenient! Everything just looked like the photos, highly recommended!
This place is in an outstanding location in Boston - right near Boston Commons and downtown. You can walk to many of the places you may want to visit including Seaport and North Beach. I was there with colleagues for some meetings where we met in the house. The set-up worked well for us to do that because the public areas are quite spacious and the building quite secure.
Spacious stay, clean and comfortable! Thanks for having us!
We had a wonderful stay! Perfectly located, extremely close to everything. We had an issue that the upstairs neighbors sounded like they were running laps - hosts addressed it and didn't have any other issues. Some of the people around the area can be sketchy but as expected in a downtown area. Amazing stay hope to be back soon!
Location is great, condo is very nice. Description is exactly as it says.
Great location, Easy Check-in/out, & Clean. Only negatives were slight and related to the condition of the building and area surrounding the entrance.
Great location and accommodations. Love that they are helping with families needing extended stays for medical care as well.
Beautiful and spacious apartment in ideal location!
Cannot imagine a better place to live in Boston than this
Great stay! They were in regular communication with us, and the apartment was a great home base for our team for meetings and a half-day event we were attending, as well as a reasonable walk from some amazing Italian food in Shawmut.
To be very honest, there were a few critical issues with the unit and the service provided. (1) while the host was very prompt in responses to texts or messages through the AirBnB website, they refused to provided a number one could call; even through there we reported problems with the unit. This was a serious flaw in their customer service and extremely frustrating. (2) there were problems with the unit. Most critically the stove did not work....and this the PRIMARY reason why one rents an AirBnB instead of an hotel....to be able to COOK. This was reported and NEVER fixed. Additional there were stains in the entrance carpet and the couch was old and appeared internally damaged. Also, two of the elevators did not work. The stove problem was never actually fully repaired in the FIVE days we were there. (3) this unit is FAR FROM LUXURY, which is how the unit is described in the website.
Beautiful and clean place in an amazing location, would absolutely stay here again.
Great location. Very spacious and so easy to get to all our Boston destinations. We stayed there for a conference at the convention center and it was a great 1-mile walk. Everything was very pedestrian friendly. Comfy beds too.
My husband and I stayed here with our 3 children for a long weekend and it was just as the pictures looked. The outside is deceiving when you first get there, but once inside it is nice. The doors that open up to the street were awesome. Our teens loved people watching. The location is close to everything and walking distance to grocery and tons of places to eat. Beds are comfy too. It’s nothing fancy, but it has everything you need for a safe and comfortable stay!
Great place, beautiful and clean, hosts were very accommodating!
Great location - near everything! Perfect for dropping our son off at college nearby. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!
Very nice apartment in a great area. We enjoyed our stay here and would be willing to come back. Brian and Heather are great hosts and very communicative.
Great place to stay in boston, clean spacious and comfortable. Very close to the T and the commons, quick Uber pick up to other parts of the city. We only stayed a night but someone staying longer would find this place to be the perfect spot to end your day in boston.
This is a great location for people wishing to explore Boston’s historic spots. The apartment was clean and the hosts were super communicative. Highly recommend.
Very well kept property with option for street parking (additional fee- 100% worth it versus SpotHero). Perfect location for a stay in Boston!! Would 100% stay here again! Some of the best on time communication especially at checkin! Def use the Winter Street entrance to building when not needing your car (park on Hamilton Street).
This is one of the best places to stay in Boston. I lived there for over ten years downtown. This place is great if you want to be in the historical and the Back Bay. Thank you, Steven P.
Thank you. We had the best time!
Nice place with great AC and access to Boston Commons. Central location.
Great location yet quiet, super comfortable beds, photos of the place were spot on!
The place was spotless and beautiful. The location was great. The beds and pillows were very comfy. I would stay here again.
great location and attention
Great location, communication, and space!
A wonderful place to stay with very attentive hosts. The location could not be better. It was just steps from the Freedom Trail and the attractions of Boston!
Perfect apartment for our party of five. We could walk every where from this location, right across from the Commons. Comfy beds, wonderful air conditioning, and well stocked kitchen with all the basics.
Great location, super equipped, hosts always available. Great stay overall. Definitely recommend to friends and family going to Boston in the future.
Great apartment and central location
Wonderful place to stay, highly recommend. Mattresses are amazing, the apt is sparkling clean and so appealing, has a faux balcony which made me feel like being in Europe, location perfect, very historic area, owners immediately responsive and accommodating, best sleep in years.
This is a great location and place for those traveling with friends or family. Everything in Boston is walkable from the location. I suggest paying for the parking pass if you have a car, park it for your stay and walk everywhere. The building and space are very clean, the rooms are great, the beds very comfortable.
Great central location, great space to hop back to for a break in between activities, great food choices near by. This place is a great place to stay in Boston. Almost everything is walkable.
Clean, airy, open space in prime location.
Great place for our party of 6. Pretty basic amenities. Nice location!
Great location. Everything was within walking distance.
This home is perfectly located. Easy walk to most of Boston.
The good - Communication was excellent. The apartment was very clean and furnishings adequate. Beds were very comfortable. The bad - The blinds in most rooms were operable but broken - bent or did not close all the way. One hairdryer did not work - did not try the second one, as my daughter brought one. Bathrooms were very small, but appreciate the stall shower. The Pluto TV is worthless. There is very little you can watch in realtime - a disappointment for sports fan for sure. The ugly - The common areas in the building were disgusting. The rugs and walls are stained to a degree I have never seen. The commons stairwell looks as though it has not been cleaned in years. The value for the price I paid was appalling. There is nothing "luxury" about the building or the apartment. There was someone passed out on the front steps the first day I was there and a number of empty bottles on or around the front entrance most of the time. The security is misleading. There is no one "live" on premise at night as advertised. I do know that Boston is an expensive hotel town, but I feel completely ripped off.
I would highly recommend staying at Brian + Heather’s place. They communicated very well with us prior to our arrival. The place was extremely clean and conveniently located. Highly recommend!
The location is excellent and the place is nice. Don't expect anything more than the basics.
Very comfortable beds and pillows, which this trio of world travelers appreciates more than anything. While the street people can be especially active at night, we thought this was perfect for a short term stay, so conveniently located, and exactly what we expected, since everything was as described and shown! Thank you, Brian + Heather.
Me and my husband eloped in Beacon hill. Brian and Heathers Airbnb was in the perfect location from our elopement location. The apartment itself is beautiful. It was fully stocked with plates cups pots pans etc: It was quite as well. We would stay here over and over again.
Location was fantastic and a great apartment for a group
Fantastic location to be in the heart of Boston! Clean, simple, easy check-in and responsive hosts. Definitely a nice place to rest after a long day. Not a ton of couch space for lounging or hanging out, but plenty of chairs and stools in the kitchen. Very comfy beds and bathrooms were generously sized. Would definitely stay again.
The room was great and clean.
Awesome location, terrific hosts and very nice apartment . The location is ideal right in middle of everything. But more importantly the hosts make it so much easier - communication and accessibility was a breeze - they would answer within minutes and really helped in every way to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended for your stay in Boston
Terrific apartment with three spacious bedrooms, incredibly comfortable beds & linens, nicely decorated. Kitchen well equipped and clean! The location is convenient to public transportation and a very walkable neighborhood.
Great location, very clean and check in was super easy.
Perfect location and seamless communication. Certainly recommend
This place is a gem. It sits at the heart of downtown Boston and you can access anywhere with the T-line. No need for a car. Our family felt at home here . The Apartment was very clean and has comfortable beds. Brian and Heather were quick to respond to your concerns.
Great spot for the location to Boston's sights and the size of unit if with a group. It lacked personal touches like cooking amenities such as salt/pepper/tea/ coffee and didn't offer much in the bathroom either - just basic shampoo.
Thanks to Brian and Heather we had an excellent stay in Boston. The location of the flat is perfect to visit the city. Close to the Metro station and only 10 min walk to Quincy Market. Few pubs and places for breakfast are only few minutes walk. The communication via chat is very fast and precise. The flat is as described on the website and has a perfect size for a family of 6 people. The flat was very clean. I really recommend this place for your next stay in Boston.
Great location, clean, very nicely remodeled unit! Big kitchen area!! A 2 minute walk from the parks :)
Excellent location! Very responsive hosts. Nice size apartment. Not cheap but you pay for what you get. Would highly recommend!
Wonderful stay in Boston and super great location! A quick walk away from a lot of things you'd like to do! To my surprise the bed ands sheets were oh so comfy, a wonderful experience overall with super secure entry!
Great stay, location, and hosts!
This was a beautiful apartment steps from everything in downtown Boston (Boston Commons, theater, historic sites, etc.). Very well decorated and extremely comfortable beds. Brian and Heather were both very kind and responsive.
Great location! The beds were comfortable, and we slept very well during our stay. Owners were quick to communicate, and the place was nice and clean. My only complaint is that a pack n play was listed in the amenities, which was one of the reasons we booked here, but they actually charged $20/day to use it. Overall I’d still recommend booking here.
Brian + Heather are the best hosts we’ve ever had. Not only was the location absolutely stellar, they were extremely accommodating. Answering any questions almost immediately while also being very pleasant. I just wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars!!
This BNB is in an excellent location, Is very secure, and very modern. We opted for early check in and paid 50 extra dollars no big deal. We were able to check in ourselves with a keypad entry. Space was clean, beds were comfy, and the space was very quiet and relaxing.
Fantastic location and property. Hosts were accommodating and responsive! Thank you!!
Great location right on the Boston Commons. Self check-in with keypads makes it super easy to come and go without worrying about keys. Lovely kitchen/living area, basic cooking items are provided. Bedrooms are spacious, and having 2 bathrooms is really nice for a larger group. Overall great experience!
Awesome loft in a perfect downtown location! Brian and Heather were great hosts, very responsive and friendly. The loft is exactly as described and the location is perfect. Highly recommend!
Fantastic location, 1 block to Park Street T stop. Historic building converted into cool apartments - exposed brick & beams. Huge place, lots of space! Will stay here again.
An enjoyable stay, with responsive owners, in a good location, noting the apartment is showing signs of wear & tear.
Amazing location that is right in the middle of everything. This place was huge, beautiful and perfect for our family get away. Highly recommend.
It’s a great place, very convenient and walkable to most popular sites.
This is a great Airbnb in a great location.
Great and easy stay
Great location and hosts were wonderful to work with. They were extremely responsive and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.
Great spot & central location to everything ! Beautiful living room windows. Plenty of room / bedrooms. Overall great stay.
The setup was amazing, & perfect area for where we wanted to go to around town 😊 Thank you!
Amazing location, seamless checkin/out, and a well appointed apartment with super comfortable sleeping arrangements! Will definitely be checking into this place for my future Boston trips!
Great view and location. Walking distance to much of what we came to see.
Very clean apartment, close to places people want to see. Starbucks and Dunkin around the corner
We really enjoyed the apartment! The location, communication and building is perfect for a group.
Great apartment, great location ! We enjoyed our stay!
We really enjoyed our stay in Boston. The place was clean and very accessible to everything.
Excellent place for a 4-6 person group to stay in Boston. Clean, comfortable, and the location is incredible for walking different parts of the city!
A great place for a group to stay, in a great location right downtown and near Boston Common with plenty of food options nearby. The place was clean, comfortable, spacious, and attractive. Building has good security. Would definitely recommend.
Great place!! Fantastic location! Super comfortable beds. We loved it and hope to come back soon!
Clean, spacious and perfectly located!
such a beautiful apartment, we loved our short stay in the heart of our favorite city!
Brian and Heather's place was perfect for our family for a Thanksgiving stay in Boston. The location is fabulous, right off the Boston Commons and close to most everything. And the unit itself is spacious, clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
Great location and amazing place to stay
Spacious place and comfy beds! Near a lot of cool bars and stores.
The apartment was great! Very clean and in a great location! The owners were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
With how much hotels were, this fit out needs of sleeping 6 people. Kitchen is great and 2 bathrooms. Living room can only sit like 3-4 at a time which is odd considering the place sleeps 6. Close to most things in Boston which is great for walking. Near a ton of retail shops as well and above a planet fitness. Communicating with the host was pretty robotic it seemed like, they definitely outsource their customer service to a company or potentially even overseas. Check out is 10am and check in is 5pm which are both relatively strange times, but we paid $50 to extend checkout. With how much they charge nightly should be free to extend when needed. Cannot store bags at the property after you checkout which is a bummer, almost all my stays the hosts always have a spot for us to hold/hide the bags but not here. Overall would stay again!
Great location, clean and unique loft, excellent communication from the hosts.
Fantastic location central to everything and a beautiful, spacious home!
This is a great location. Close to Boston Commons, Public Garden, Common Wealth, Beacon Hill. Freedom Trail. Walkable to other areas. Also close to train station, bike station. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living area all great. Will stay here again.
Excellent location, very nice inside. Host’s were easy to communicate with and the check in / check out was very simple. Will happily stay here again!
very nice location and place
The location of this unit was not bad as it was close to some tourist sites in Boston but it was on a street that was not that desirable. We asked if we could come in early if there was no one there but we were told NO not without paying a fee for early arrival and late departure! They did not even consider the request-- we were told we have to pay extra. Most annoying however was that when we asked to keep our luggage at the unit early (since they would not allow us to check in early) we were told that we could not store the bags. Instead, they told us where we could store them nearby for a fee. I have never been told this. Since it was a big building we could have easily left our bags in that building or in the unit itself but instead had to run around Boston trying to find a place to keep them for a few hours. When we're in a new place we don't expect to be stressed out further. We look for some help from our AirBNB hosts. Also, the toilet in one of the bathrooms had a broken flapper requiring me to stick my hand in the water tank to lift it out to flush the toilet. I was told that it would be repaired after we departed- obviously, that didn't help my family. While they were very prompt in sending over extra sheets and towels after we asked, it was a slight hassle for us. Would have preferred if there were a couple of extra sheets and towels in the closet. Finally, very sparsely stocked with simple kitchen items. However, the unit was fairly spacious and overall nice.
Great location in the heart of Boston - walking distance to pretty much everything! Spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - great spot! Will book this again next time we visit!
The apartment was ideal for our needs as we visited Boston. The kitchen just has the basic utensils, cups, dishes etc. Make sure you bring anything you need to cook and clean up (Ie. Oil, salt/pepper, coffee, dish soap, paper towel). The appliances were clean (Ie. Toaster, coffee maker, kettle) and useful. The exposed brick wall gave a nice character to the clean space. The location is convenient as well. Will definitely rent this space again when we visit Boston. Thank you for all of your assistance. Best regards, Vennie
Beautiful home and a great host!
This place was great ! The host were easy to get a hold of & everything that was in the ad was true .. great location & easy to get everywhere . I recommend this place to anyone who wants a great clean spacious place . Thanks Brian & Heather
I had an amazing stay here! clean, affordable and spacious. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member. I would book again for sure, thanks for the great stay!
What an amazing space! If you’re looking to be close to Boston Commons, this is the place! I still can’t believe we lucked into this! Very contemporary decor with exposed brick walls & a great industrial feel but with all the comforts of home! Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and 3 good sized bedrooms! Bathrooms felt brand new and super clean. Brian & Heather were absolutely attentive when I needed questions answered. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone traveling to the Boston area!!
Great location! Super clean condo. Beds were comfortable and sheets were like you’d get at a luxury hotel. Felt like I was at a W hotel but with 3 beds and 2 full bath! Quite bedrooms as they face interior part of the building. As per the owner’s description the condo didn’t get much sunlight. Other than that, A+.
Brian+Heather's facilities were very well managed, clean and easy to access. The key-less entry was great! They were also very responsive and quick to get back on any questions we had. The location was perfect for our need and proximity to downtown ensured easy access to restaurants and places of interest. We look forward to our next trip to Boston and hope that we can book the facility we stayed in! All the best!
Absolutely lovely place and that is prime central location to everything you need in the beautiful city of Boston! Loft was beautiful and clean, my family enjoyed our stay so much we can’t wait to come back! The host Brian & Heather are incredibly genuine people and accommodated my stay so well! Would absolutely stay here no questions asked! Do yourself a favor and if you’re in Boston stay at this wonderful place and you will not be disappointed! Thank you again Brian & Heather !!
Fantastic location - walking distance to all the sights. Safe and secure building. Clean unit and beds were very comfortable. We were a group of 3 couples traveling & the 3 bedroom 2 bath unit worked great for us. Both bathrooms are in the hall so easily shared by all 3 bedrooms. We’d definitely stay here again!
This is a great place to stay to visit Boston. The location can't be beat, the apartment is spacious, clean and well appointed, and the communication is quick and responsive. Highly recommend!
This apartment is very convenient to many things in Boston. The inside was clean and lives up to the pictures. If you are a light sleeper be warned that the walls and ceilings are thin so you hear a lot of noise from the surrounding units. That being said, the hosts are very attentive and it was a great place for my family’s first site seeing trip to Boston.
Beautiful 3 bedroom apartment, with great central location next to the park. Very happy with our stay.
Our stay at the loft definetely aided in making our city trip to Boston a big success. Centrally located in downtown, we were able to see alot of the city by foot and bike ( a blue bike stand was just around the corner). The fully equiped kitchen allowed us to make meals when we didn’t want to go to a restaurant. The loft is the ideal stay for a family with teenagers . Our teens enjoyed having their own room and bathroom. The communication and service from the host was very good. After sending a message, within minutes we received a reply. The less attractive side of staying in downtown is the daily confrontations with the homeless and drug users in this neighborhood. The police were definetely present, walking around or parked in their car . It was a good feeling to see the police keeping a neighborhood watch.
Perfect location and very clean!! Highly recommend!
Clean, nicely decorated. Easy to access. We loved Boston.
Pros: Convenient location - close to shops, park and the T. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, plenty of closet and cupboard space, large kitchen and eat in area. Well insulated from sound inside of the apartment. Cons: Needed to supply our own dish soap, hand soap, bath soap, clean but stained sheets, unreliable electrical outlets. Old, worn down couch.
Great location. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Cute place.
Great place and prompt responses for any questions. Location is absolutely perfect. I would recommend this place. Be aware this is in the middle of a major city and you will encounter some homeless/drug addicts in the direct vicinity. Just be aware of your surroundings as you would in any city.
Perfect downtown location with a beautiful three bedroom setting.
This is run like a well oiled machine. Everything is done by the book. so everything works, but there’s no feeling of hospitality.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, roomy, comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the location. The apartment is perfect for a family with teenagers who have outgrown hotel rooms. The location is great, only steps from Boston Common. The only negative is that there are few homeless people in the area. The owners are very responsive
Greatest location in Boston! Not only was the location great, but the cleanliness was exceptional! 10/10 would recommend
This apartment was in the perfect location! It is essentially located and walkable to just about everything! The bedrooms were very comfortable and it was especially nice having two bathrooms with two nice showers.
The airbnb itself is very nice and up to our standards. The only thing I would say was a downfall to this experience was the host. I got rude responses and it seemed that they did not care about our needs as guests. I would’ve loved to rate this airbnb much higher but the bad experience I personally had with the host is what is for this 3 star rating.
Pros: 1. Location - Within walking distance to the Commons, and 20 min walk to North End, Newbury Street. Close to the metro and bus station. Close to great coffee shops. 2. Tidy/Clean - The cleaning team did a solid job of cleaning the place, so $160 cleaning fee, seems a bit high, but probably justifiable. 3. Space - Pretty spacious living room, warm, well lit. 4 of us felt very comfortable. Cons: 1. Location - Although the location is central, we didn't feel safe, especially in the evenings. Several fights broke out between homeless and drunk people during our 5-day stay there. The police were called. The second entrance to the building (near Santander bank) is constantly filled with loud crowds, drinking on the street, playing loud musing, and in general, behaving disorderly. Again, the police had to be called to stop this. I wouldn't recommend staying in this place if you have young children. 2. Tech - Pretty old and small TV, with awful resolution. Super patchy WiFi, which doesn't work several times a day. 3. Inflexible host - Wouldn't allow us to leave the luggage prior to check-in, even when the previous tenant already moved out. $50 early check-in is too expensive. 4. Check-in - 4 PM check-in is super late, even for AirBnB standards. The cleaning team wasn't ready at 4 PM, and took another hour to prepare the place.
Very clean and had the essentials needed. Prime location for touristy things.
Perfect find :) Super cozy and comfy. It’s was in great location. My family and I were so happy and definitely recommend anyone to stay.
Excellent central location and host communication!
Very nice place in a great location.
Fantastic apartment in a great location. Very clean. Good controlled access to the building, which is very secure. Recommend it highly!
Stellar place! Spotlessly clean and completely updated. Gorgeous decorating and the location couldn’t be better. Steps from Boston Commons and the Freedom Trail, shopping and dining.
Beautiful space, Great Location, Responsive Hosts
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
