We had an amazing week in Boston, this air bnb was close to everything we wanted to do and if you don’t mind walking, you can do practically anything. If you don’t want to walk, you can grab an Uber. I will mention the exterior noise was very easy to hear at night in the bedroom at almost all hours, but the living room was a little more muffled. Overall, great stay.
You actually get a lot for the price of this place when you consider the average cost of a hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was nice. Overall it has everything you need and want for a short stay in the city, and definitely worth the value. However, the bedroom windows are in need of a bit maintenance as they don’t all shut properly, allowing for quite a bit of street noise. In addition, the room is at the same level as the street lights and at night without blackout shades, a lot of light comes through. Got the job done and I was happy with my stay.

Amazing price for what you get, you’re a 5-15 min walking distance to all the bucket list stuff. The apt is at the corner of an intersection which is great for those night lit views, but still has blinds if you want privacy. They were easy to communicate with. Would recommend. 👍🏼
The apartment is well located and the upfront host communication was efficient. The access process was really smooth, and we appreciated the onsite washing facilities, including the washing pods. However, although the place is well equipped, its overall look and feel is a bit tired for the price-point. What was really disappointing though was the extreme construction noise throughout the 2nd night, which led us to leave at 3am. Although this is partially not in the control of the owner, constructive communication with them after the fact to achieve a fair outcome was ignored, and an equitable outcome could only be achieved with the intervention of Airbnb support. Unfortunately we cannot recommend, which is a first ever for me.

The apartment is old and it shows, but that comes with staying Boston. The building is a treat with the old mail chute, spiral stairs, and unique elevator. The apartment itself is no frills, but got the job done and was worth it for the location.

Steven (and Brian) were great hosts. Always helpful and responsive. The late check-in at 5pm and early check-out at 10am seems aggressive. You can pay to extend either way but thought this felt a little extreme as a standard. No bag drop either but we were directed to Bounce which worked fine. I wouldn't recommend anybody who isn't going out partying to stay on the weekends. it was loud each night but Friday night wouldn't have been possible to sleep without ear plugs (even with them was tough). Still more affordable than a hotel and a good experience overall minus the Friday noise. Just keep that in mind when booking but otherwise expect a smooth stay.
The apartment was as described. Just enough space that fit our needs perfectly. Due to its location in the financial district and being an older, historic building, there’s a lot of room for noise to come through. Steven did offer a sound machine and we also had the ac unit at the time, which did help. They were also upfront about the noise. The location was perfectly situated within walking distance of many restaurants, coffee shops, historical sites, the subway, and tram stations. Would definitely stay here again.

I recommend this Airbnb! It was very clean, easy to find and enter, and in a great location within walking distance to downtown, the North End, and Seaport. Of note- late check-in (5pm), traffic was a little noisy in the morning and you need to make sure to bring your own coffee grounds. However, the host was very responsive and informative and I would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for our needs and the unit was very clean with tons of natural light. There was a lot of street noise, but that's to be expected in a busy downtown area. If you're a light sleeper bring some ear plugs. Steven and associates were very responsive answered all of my questions promptly. Walking distance to many attractions: Boston Long Wharf, New England Aquarium, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, which was good because having to park a car can be challenging. Lots & lots of good restaurants in the area too. Thank you so much for a nice stay in a great location :)
This apartment was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The hosts were very responsive. Overall it was a great place to stay. The only a few negatives were that the shower curtain rod was very dirty and rusty, and stained the towels if they were on the curtain rod. Secondly, it is incredibly noisy in the bedroom, you can hear everything going on the street below which makes it hard to sleep in a busy area. Lastly, the blinds in the bedroom let in all light, so with that and the noise it can be difficult to get a full nights rest. Despite a very few negatives , this was a clean affordable and comfortable apartment in a great location and I would stay there again.
Steven was a great host. The space is centrally located in downtown Boston, close to everything! Steven was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any inquiries from booking through check out. I recommend this space and will stay there again when I’m in Boston next.
First day arrival, we had to walk up 5 sets of steps with our luggage and grocery and it was unexpected. There could have had a signage to indicate inactive elevator due to fire practice. Didn’t aware the elevator was working until second day afternoon. We rented the place for 2 weeks, and had some trouble trying to get quarters for laundry. Other than that the host was very responsive and location was great. Restaurant, attractions, groceries and shopping all in a walking distance.

The place is just as shown in the photos. The location is great because it’s right downtown, near the typical touristic things and a few Irish bars. Also great location in terms of public transportation. The apartment was clean and well furnished and very comfortable. Would definitely consider this place again if I come to Boston or recommend to others.

Great city apartment
I planned a trip for my boyfriend’s birthday and chose to stay in Boston. This was my first time booking an Airbnb. Steven’s place was a great choice from the jump. We were dead center in Boston. The bnb was easy to find and we felt secure. The kitchen was nicely updated and the set up of the apartment as a unit was simple and unique. Some items to take note on: although the bnb was generally sanitary, the bathroom floor was a bit unclean. If the living room offered blankets, it would’ve felt a bit more inviting. The wi-fi was not set up so we did have to use another floor’s connection (the instructions did include the passwords). Also, thermostat did not kick in when we attempted to warm the room. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay! The view from our bedroom was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunrise. The building has an elevator, so luggage transport was easy. The water in the shower and the bathroom was hot instantly. And, of course, communication with our host was good! 👍🏽
My husband and I had a great stay in Boston. The apartment was clean and cozy. No issues with the Airbnb itself, and the location was a close walk (about a half mile or so) to all tourist spots- Boston Common, Quincy Market, and even the North End. But the area was not as expected. In the heart of the financial district, we arrived on Thursday afternoon and there were almost no sit down restaurants open to grab lunch. Then over the weekend, we came to realize that there were no open coffee shops, delis or breakfast locations nearby. It appeared that all local restaurants catered to weekday working hours. Overall, it was a great stay and we would make more use of the kitchen next time.

This is a great location. We walked everywhere we wanted to go and never felt unsafe. They are very quick on communication. I requested to drop off my bags before check in so we didnt have to lug them around for a couple hours and they were fine with that! I am still very thankful. The space is squeaky clean. The neighbors were quiet. Its noisy outside, but not more than any other city in my opinion. Overall a great experience.

Awesome place to stay near everything
An incredible location and nice apartment for a very affordable price. We loved the building and the very thorough instructions for check in and check out. The only downside, as others have noted, is that it the street noise is very loud at night. My wife and I are from a city setting, so this did not really phase us, but I can certainly see how people from a more quiet area may have a difficult time adjusting or sleeping at night.
For the prices of hotels in this areas, I’m soooo happy we chose this apartment! The location is EXCELLENT…..right down a the street rest from Quincy Market/Fanueil Hall and a 5-7 minutes walk to the North End. We couldn’t have asked for or a better spot and can’t wair to book again! GREAT place. Thank you
Great location in Boston. Easy walking distance to most things. Reason for 4 stars was because the bathroom was pretty dirty and we had to fix the toilet while there. Pretty good communication, but someone had to come and see about a possible leak in our place but we never found out what happened? Overall, it was ok!

During our stay, there was a building demolition block away every night before dawn. I'm very disappointed that they did not disclose this in their listing, or DM me before we arrive. We just found a note in the room after we checked in. They offered ear plugs, but the ear plugs were not even in the room but in some shared self-service locker that we needed to find by ourselves, and we couldn't even locate it the first night so we had to sleep without any noise cancellation. The noises were horrible and we couldn't sleep at all during our stay, and it's definitely not something they should have hidden before our arrival.
Steven is a great host with good communication. The location is great. But the apartment has a lot of deferred maintenance. 2 windows in the bedroom are held in place with duct tape and 1 window is missing a curtain. The baseboard heaters are falling apart. Kitchen outlets did not work- no breaker was tripped. 1 outlet in the bedroom is broken with live parts exposed. Window sill in the dining room has crumbling plaster.
I absolutely loved my stay here. It was easy to find and close to everything you could need. A short walk to the North End for dinner, Faneuil Hall for shopping, or to the T to get around. The streets could be quite loud at night but the apartment felt so safe and cozy. It has a comfortable living area with a large tv, cute dining area and a perfect little bedroom with lots of windows. The sunlight coming in the morning was lovely! The host was very responsive to my questions and I truly miss the space already. I would gladly stay here again in the future.

Nice place to stay although there was construction happening at night which I understand is outside of the host’s control but we were woken up around 1am two nights in a row to jackhammering and sawing taking place directly across from the apartment. Outside of that the location was good

This is a great apartment in a central location with good communication from hosts. However be aware that there is lots of street noise at night from traffic and nearby pub especially at weekends.
We loved this location close to Quincy Market and the freedom trail. We were able to walk or take the T almost everywhere very easily. The tip to use spot hero for parking was fantastic to save us some money and the place is super cute and clean. Keep in mind that it is downtown. So be prepared to use earplugs which the host provides.
Great instructions how to get in and out of the apt. Great locale for everything in Boston. We walked an average of 10.5 miles a day. We didn’t need a car and Ubers are very expensive here. Maxs deli across the street was awesome. Lily’s pizza(200ft)was great!! Duck tour worth the money. Not so good things. Apt is basic. No welcoming niceties, Coffee maker but no coffee which we have had in all our other Airbnb’s . Bathroom could use an update and bigger towels, luckily we found spares. Even small for me and I’m only 5 foot tall. Things out of owners control: electrical issues(probably has to do with all road works) and broken elevator on the day before last. (Apt on the 5th floor).
Awesome location, good building. A little bit noisy - and other reviewers are correct that the bathroom is definitely the most wonky part of the stay. Additionally, noise from the street can be pretty loud but it's nothing horrible unless you're a light sleeper.

I was staying to Steven's place for few days and the flat was really nice, really clean, comfortable and near by everything in Boston. The only negative things were about the unstable wc (it needs to be fixed) and the electricity in the kitchen was not 100% functional but this is not a big deal. I definitely recommend the place :)

My partner and I stayed at Steven's place and really had a great time. It was located in a very visitor-friendly neighbourhood. The space was comfortable and clean. It would be a 5/5 star review if not for some of the issues we encountered. Right away we noted that the toilet water tank kept running. We were also confused by the plastic lid on the toilet. For anyone that stays in this space if the toilet runs, simply lift the lid up. It is plastic so it's easy to do this, lifting it makes the water stop running. The more concerning issue was the power kept cutting in and out. This was what really affected our stay (no internet, tv, washroom lights). On the second night of our stay the power in the kitchen, bedroom and living room went out. We found the fuse box. This did not resolve the issue. The host said they would send someone the next day but didn't. It was not the fuse as the power kept cutting in and out for the duration of our stay. It felt like a wiring issue and unsafe.
Overall the place was beautiful, especially the views, but there was a few inconveniences. The first being the noise of the traffic and next door neighbors, which is out of control of the owner (we are of course in a city) but they said they had things like a sound machine, fan, and earplugs to masque the noise. But we had to reach out to the owners and wait about 6 hours before we were even supplied with them. If you say you supply an amenity very clearly on your page, it should be supplied. It was an older place so the following is kind of understandable but we had problems with half of the outlets not working including the tv. Owner was very responsive and helped us out but it continued to give us problems our entire stay. Lastly, checkout time was at 10 am which is already pretty early. We had left the place to bring the car closer and came back to the cleaning team waiting outside the place. It made us feel unwelcome. If checkout time is at 10am wait until then to clean.
Nice stay. Steven was quick to respond and getting into the room was easy. Be aware that parking is not easy and if you are there overnight you will probably have to find a garage and it will cost you $40 to $50
Great stay, although the toilet was a bit "loose" so to say. Everything else was perfect.
I stayed about 3 weeks in the apartment and my feelings are mixed. On one hand the location is in downtown and very walkable, on the other hand, there is a huge difference between genetic downtown busy-noisy and being on the same street as a very loud nightclub. Unfortunately the club not far from the apartment stays open late Thursday to Sunday, and the noise level on these days made it hard to sleep even with earplugs and white noise machines (which the host kindly provided). Other than that, the place was spacious and as described. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. The wifi was in general also good. Communications from the host was also timely. So if you have no trouble sleeping with the noise then this is a great choice for exploring Boston.
Leading up to my stay the Healing Homes team was very communicative, and I appreciated that all the policies were clearly posted in the listing so I was able to get any questions answered in advance. Communication about procedures for check-in and check-out were sent proactively and questions were addressed in a timely manner. The team was also able to work with a quirk in my schedule and accommodated my request for a later check-out which I greatly appreciated. In general the space was well set up and immaculately clean. I would stay here again, and would recommend it to anybody!

the apartment itself is in the financial district and on the weekends the area is very quiet. However, the location makes it very easy to get around boston either by public transportation or walking. The architecture and the interior design of the living room is stunning. Our only (very minor) qualm was the only mirror was in the bathroom and it made it hard to get ready. Other than that I would recommend to anyone!
The place is at great location, walking distance to most downtown attractions including the Faneuil hall, long wharf, with many restaurants nearby. In the evening noise from the bars downstairs can be a bit loud but the bed is extremely comfy. During my stay, the kitchen outlets and bedside lamp were not working but the team was very responsive to my enquiries and try to help as much as possible.

A nice vintage apartment situated 4 minutes walk from Quincy Market. The location is near a number of restaurants/bars so you can hear all the conversations/yelling/car honking at all hours. It is in a very old classic building however, the apartment is well-equipped and very comfortable. Great communication from the hosts to make our stay enjoyable.
This one bedroom flat is an extremely cozy place to stay with an incredibly convenient location. This place really allowed us to maximize our short time in Boston by being able to walk to or quickly access everything in the downtown area. I highly recommend this place!

This was a great place to stay while I was in town for work. The hosts were very communicative and responsive, getting in and out of the unit and building was seamless with smart-locks/codes, and the unit is very spacious with a living room, dining room, kitchen, and bedroom. The bedroom has a pretty cool panoramic view of the surrounding buildings in the city, which the photos on the listing don't do justice. Convenient location too that's easy to walk from. Would recommend and would stay there again!

Pros: -the location -communication with host Cons: -Toilet nearly falls over when sitting -this was said to be fixed in previous reviews -Toilet clogs after every other flush -Bed squeaks so loud it wakes u up every time u move - also said to be fixed in previous reviews -No fitted sheet on the bed but 4 regular sheets! -Tv was so hard to pair with chrome stick every time and it kept crashing! Remote unpairs during every use (I’m sure most stayers don’t plan to stay in and watch tv but we had some rainy days and it was such an annoyance amongst all other aspects!) -Not a single outlets works in kitchen. -Shower got cold very fast I’m sure you can imagine how this would be frustrating. You wake up after sleeping with no fitted sheet and the squeakiest bed ever. Use the bathroom and the toilet is tipping over when you sit, then you have to plunge the toilet. You go to make your tea and not a single outlet it working so you sit down to watch tv instead and that won’t work either!! For costliness of this listing, I was very frustrated! The pros did NOT outweigh cons. I am grateful this listing was available with the last minute booking of my trip and Steven was a very communicable host. But listing an apartment as flawed as this one (with no prior notice of said flaws!) for the price in which it was listed seems wrong to me!
I came to Boston for a work trip and stayed at Steven’s property. The apartment was clean, spacious, and located very conveniently in downtown Boston. I will certainly look to stay here again when visiting the city.
Very nice and clean apartment perfect for my weekend stay extremely close to a lot of attractions and establishments. Communication was on point and quick. Would stay again if I ever visit the same area again
Though my wife and I enjoyed our stay in Boston, we do feel that there are some things we should note for those considering booking this unit. I want to be clear that I am happy with my booking and the positives do outweigh the negatives. That said, some of these issues are persistent across a number of reviews. Pros: Excellent location, centrally located with easy access to public transit Great food and coffee within walking distance Large spacious unit equipped as described in the listing description Birds eye view of the street below in a panoramic bedroom. Cons: The toilet is wobbly; this has been noted in many reviews. The toilet clogs frequently. It clogged 3 times during our stay One of the stove burners of the doesn't work The plugs in the kitchen don't work. We plugged the toaster into the living room. The noise from the street is overwhelming. If you are a light sleeper I would NOT recommend you stay here. The owner is aware of the noise and has provided a white noise machine, however the noise from the street is far louder than the white noise machine. You should buy and use earplugs if this will be an issue for you. I would again like to iterate that the inconveniences don't outweigh the pros, however some are known issues that have not been addressed.
This was a great unit, with a great ambience and tons of natural light. The building was cute with a cool spiral staircase and quaint elevator (fits about 4 average-sized people). Overall, everything felt well cared-for, and as a woman traveling alone I felt safe in the building and in the neighborhood (I was walking daily to Marriott Long Wharf hotel for a conference). Be aware that this is in a busy and happening neighborhood, SUPER close to cool stuff and lots of restaurants, this also means there are noisy pubs late into the night. I was there on a Fri/Sat in summer during Celtics play-off game, so was probably extra loud. I slept with a white noise machine (that was kindly provided in the unit) and the AC on, and that combo drowned out most of the noise.
The Airbnb was very accurate to the description and was located in a great area with a lot of places within walking distance for visitors. I would definitely consider staying at this location again for future visits!
The apartment is pretty much exactly as advertised- clean and well furnished. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. The location is amazing, close to lots of grocery stores and within walking distance to the red and green lines.

Centrally located apartment with everything within walking distance. There is a significant issue with noise which meant 2/3 nights we hardly slept. There was construction noise in the middle of the night and on the Saturday morning at 7am! It was unbearable. The bed is very squeaky and there was no duvet cover: the duvet was wrapped in 2 sheets. As noted by other reviewers, the toilet wobbles when you sit on it. We also had an issue with the power sockets in the kitchen and despite reporting it as soon as we arrived, it remained unresolved by the time we left. For the price, this is not value for money and we would not stay here again.
This place is in a perfect location with walkable distance to all the sites and transportation. The place was clean and had everything I needed. I would book again.
It was my first time in Boston and I was very satisfied with the venue. Great location for a walkable downtown experience and the pictures don’t do it justice. Would recommend and would book again.
The best feature of the apartment is its location! It's close to so many fun neighborhoods, parks, and views, and is a quick walk to the T for getting around beyond the immediate surroundings. The space was well decorated and clean, and the host was very communicative. There were a few things we were less fond of - the bed was super squeaky, there was lots of street noise especially at night on the weekends, the toilet was wobbly, there was no full length mirror, and the WiFi was a bit glitchy when on Zoom calls.

Great location and very clean, nice place but the shower only stayed warm for 30 seconds and the bed squeaked every time you rolled over.
We had a wonderful time in Boston and the apartment is perfectly located downtown. Most sites were in walking distance and if you want to travel a little further like Cambridge, there are subway stations just a short walk away. The apartment was nice and bright, and we had no issues with the elevator. The team was very responsive to any questions we had and also worked with us on an early check in and late check out, which was great. It was a little noisy at times, but we had no problem adjusting. After all you are in a city and sounds travel between buildings. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. The only negative I can say is that the apartment needs some, mostly cosmetic repairs I informed the team about. None affected our stay, but this is the reason that I only give 4 stars.
Location is PERFECT! Price for value is unmatched. We’d rent again and the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that for some travelers this unit may be a tad noisy. Great communication and clean!

You cannot beat the location. Seriously, the BEST location. So easy to walk everywhere. The host was also super helpful and responded right away whenever we needed anything. The space is as pictured and has all that you need but note that it is super loud at night and the windows don’t do anything to stop the sound. It’s an older building so a couple other things could be updated but it was the best place!!
Steven’s place was great for our stay in Boston! Location is SO close to the north end, the aquarium, and the train. The place was clean.
Great location in college areas (Northeastern, Emerson, etc). Walking distance to Chinatown, Boston commons, malls, restaurants, etc. Clean. Provided soap, shampoo/conditioner bottle, towels. Provided toaster, kettle, cutlery, dishes, etc. Clear instructions and communication about elevator not working and fast responses.

Great location! Flexible checkout and authentic space in downtown. Only con was the bathroom (plumbing) is a bit dated and the elevator only worked sometimes.
Overall I enjoyed my stay! The place is very cute and pretty spacious. There are lots of windows and the views are cool. The apartment definitely has an older vibe to it since it’s in an older building (keep that in mind). The location is great, you’re in walking distance to the north end, downtown, and even Chinatown. You definitely don’t need a car if you are just staying in the city! There are a couple T stops close by too. They seem to be in the process of updating the blinds in the bedroom, as 3 out of 4 of them are broken, old, and aren’t even adjustable. Despite the curtains, the bedroom was still rather bright at night. The bed was sorta comfortable. There’s a piece of wood separating itself from the door to the bedroom. The toilet is wobbly when you sit down on it, which seems to have been an issue for a while now after I read through the reviews. Also for some reason, sometimes the water kept running on and off after flushing. Oh and the shower curtain also had a weird orange stain on it. Speaking of water, I did notice water dripping from the ceiling near the kitchen. I sent the hosts a picture and they were very quick to communicate with me and I was told they made building maintenance aware. Maintenance did not come during my stay so hopefully they will resolve that issue quickly! The last thing I will say, that’s not pictured, is that there’s actually an additional door that leads to the hallway and locks from the inside. I don’t understand what the purpose of that door is, it opens right in front of another unit. Oh, and I fell down the building’s stairs twice, at the bottom. The railing doesn’t quite go all the way down and I slipped and fell. The stairs seem like marble or something and it might’ve been slippery from the weather. ANYWAYS be careful and try not to smash your elbows like me :-)
Steven's place is lovely, just as described and while the apartment is small, it was cozy and had everything that we needed for a comfortable visit. The location is great, in easy walking distance to many of the Boston sights and just a block away from a subway stop making it easy to get anywhere. The apartment is on the 5th floor and the elevator was not working while we were there, we were aware of that before we arrived and the steps were not a problem for us (just some extra cardio). I would definitely recommend it and we would stay there again.

Can’t beat the location as far as walking to things. This is an old building, which didn’t bother me at all, but just be aware it’s not super fancy. And it is on the 5th floor but there is an elevator. Also some mornings we did not have hot water for a bit, my guess is bc it’s an old building and everyone is showering in the AM it ran out. Our biggest issue was parking because it is in the financial district—we did not know at the time but there is street sweeping everyday 2a-7a so you can’t park really anywhere near the place. So just be aware you will have to park in a garage or use SpotAngels, that app is really helpful. Otherwise great place!

This place was super clean and so homey! I booked a stay for my best friends birthday, and it was just an all around wonderful experience! 10/10. If i ever have to go to bostom for a weekend again i know where im staying!
Spacious, well-equipped apartment in the perfect location for exploring metro Boston. A classic building, but has an elevator so being on the 5th floor was not an issue. We were within walking distance to practically everything...waterfront, Freedom Trail, North End, Boston Common and Public Garden...only used mass transit to get to & from the airport. Plenty of restaurants and bars within a block or two. Can be a little noisy in the morning due to construction nearby, but really not too bad. A great alternative to more expensive hotels in the area.
Perfect location for our stay in Boston! It was incredibly convenient being situated in downtown as we were close to so many of the sights we wanted to see and to the subway to be able to reach any of the others. We didn’t have much downtime but when we did, the apartment had everything we may have needed.

Great value! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! We walked pretty much everywhere, everything is within a 10-20 minute walk. We only took the T out to the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum and Uber to Harpoon out in the Seaport District. Can get everywhere quick! The street is a little noisy with bars and foot traffic, however the AC drowns it out for the most part. Place was clean and was as described in the listing!

4 stars because there were stains on the bed sheets and shower curtain and splattered stuff all over the wall near the front door. The toilet wobbles and the bed is hard as a rock. For the price you probably won’t find anything better for the price but if you are visiting for baseball games and things like that it is cheaper to spend more on a hotel closer than save here and spend the money on the ubers. Overall I would recommend this place if you are spending little time here because the location is great. Also very inconvenient the elevator didnt work most of the time but I don’t think it was their fault. 200 lbs of luggage up 5 flights of stairs sucked

My husband and I stayed at this Airbnb for 5 days. The definite pro was the location of the place. It’s only two train stops from the airport, so we didn’t need to take any other transportation anywhere within Downtown. The place was clean and spacious, the couch in the living room was comfortable. The bed was ok - a little firm. The cons are: The toilet that wasn’t secured so it was wobbly when you sat on it. As mentioned in other reviews, the kitchen cabinets were visibly detaching from the wall — it did look like they might fall off the wall any moment. The construction during the day was getting extremely loud (even with windows closed), it was difficult to read or watch a show at home. On a Saturday it was super loud outside of a bar downstairs till about 3am.

Right when I walked in I noticed there were used towels and bar soap in the bathroom. I also noticed there were stains on the blanket. Steven (the host) responded in a very timely manner. He was very professional. I also was in the shower and when I look up there was a roach. There was trash in the trash can from a previous stay which is not clean. Along with the unit not being cleaned. The lock on the door didn’t work so when I would leave in and out for the day I worried about my stuff. I ended up having to move due to unsanitary circumstances . Overall i did not enjoy my stay due to it being very unsanitary &
We will call this stay the "Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." The Good: the location was amazing. Easy to walk to pretty much anywhere, the amenities of the unit was helpful during our 7 day stay, and check in was easy! The Bad: Steven and his business partner, Brian, responded very quickly to requests for repairs (the toilet wobbled over an inch, we had water leaking from the dryer vent on our second day), but there was zero follow up with either the maintenance person, or from Brian or Steven given the matters. The Ugly: We had water POURING FROM THE CEILING on our last night. This was not a small leak, it traveled from the back of the kitchen where the dryer vent is, and started coming from the light fixture in the bathroom. Instead of having someone come out on the first instance when we initially reported it, we were honestly worried the second time that ceiling was going to cave in from the amount of water that was coming down. We panicked packed our stuff and felt like we needed to monitor the situation to ensure nothing else happened until the water stopped. The issue ended up being the washer from the floor above was not draining properly. I had to investigate and correct it myself. Overall, I would choose another unit until they fix the inevitable mold issues that will arise. Hopefully this instance helped them see that deferred maintenance or faster physical responses can prevent much bigger issues.

Cute place and great location. It’s very close to the Post Office Square Parking Garage for future guests that aren’t familiar with the area (as I was not prepared for the sky high parking prices in Boston), I definitely recommend this parking garage since they have a $9/ day weekend rates and it’s a 5 minute walk from this Airbnb!

This airbnb was extremely disappointing. “Committed to clean” is a downright lie. There was absolutely nothing clean or comfortable about this airbnb. - The bathroom had orange mold in the tub, around the toilet, and lining the bottom of the shower curtain. - The toilet wasn’t secured so it was wobbly when you sat on it (as mentioned in a review from May 2021). They attempted to fix it by putting folded up paper underneath which was also orange from mold. - Because there was no bath mat, we put a towel down so we didn’t step out of the shower onto a cold/dirty tile, and that towel turned orange from soaking up mold from the outside corner of the tub. - There was a different couch than the listing showed (in the pictures there was a grey fabric couch which looked nice/new and comfy). When we arrived it was a dark orange leather couch that had stains and the back cushions were flattened on top. - The kitchen cabinets were visibly detaching from the wall—looking at them from the front room we could see the screws barely holding them in. - The bed was broken and sunk in when we laid on it. The mattress and sheets were uncomfortable (also as mentioned in a previous review). - The elevator stopped working the last 3 days (of our 5 day stay), so we had to walk up 5 flights of narrow, winding stairs when it was 90 degrees and humid. The team was responsive (we had some issues with the smoke detector needing new batteries when we first arrived) up until I mentioned how dirty the place was and when I asked about the elevator being fixed. They completely ignored me the last 2 days of our trip. The ONLY positive to this listing is the location. Would never stay here again.

The location was accurate; great walking distance to any activities by the harbor. Apartment was very clean with towels and small bottles of shampoo-conditioner. We only stayed for one night and it accommodated us perfectly. Only heads-up would be the apartment's narrow staircase; not ideal when carrying luggage. They do have a small elevator but you need to push the button hard to get it to work.

This place is in the perfect location and is walking distance to everything. The view is great and the apartment has an elevator. Pros: location, value, spacious for a couple, has full kitchen and supplied dish soap, soap and coffee, the host is VERY responsive and can help with whatever you need, location is PERFECT. Cons: there were minor things that need maintenance and a little more cleaning, the toilet wobbles, and there was construction going on during our stay which was super loud even with all the windows closed (they offer ear plugs and a noise machine if it bothers you). I would recommend this stay to others, I just hope they fix the few things I mentioned to them to make the stay even better.

Pros: - location: really close to restaurants, bars, tourist attractions - comfortable - modern design Cons: - host installed A/C unit during our stay. This created additional back and forth communication. I had important work meetings that day and did not need the extra interruptions. Moreover, the host sent his team to the apartment while we were grabbing dinner but never notified us. We only noticed after returning and seeing the A/C. This is concerning considering we had valuables like laptops out in the open. - as I mentioned before, the location is great bc you are near to all the action. BUT, it can be noisy, even late at night. - limited supplies: there was no hand soap, which is unacceptable during a pandemic. no body wash. no dish soap. we had to go to a local pharmacy and buy all of these items. Hopefully this feedback is helpful to both potential guests and especially to the host so that he is more aware of some of these shortcomings.

Unfortunately I cannot say that our stay was great. The main perks of this place is location. You are in the center of Boston, close to many attractions, historical places and the waterfront. The main problem is that the place is quite run down: many blinders were broken, the toilet is not properly attached to the floor so it wobbles, the bed headboard attachment is broken as well and some windows do not close properly and one was not even fully within its frame. The last issue bothered me quite a bit considering that there are construction nearby 24/7 and one night the temperature outside was below freezing. What surprises me is that the host did not respond when I asked to come and fix it, when instead they were responsive for other questions. Finally, some parties happened in weekdays till late night in other units of the building, which was not great for sleeping.

The apartment has a lot of character. It is roomy and stylish. Arrival was very easy. Kitchen had everything you may need. Dining area is ample. Loved , loved the couch. There was an issue with noise from a construction site one block away. Bed was too hard for my taste. Location is amazingly convenient.

The location was great and made it very easy to be able to walk around downtown and get back easily. The apartment was also very clean. However, this feels very much like a management company that owns several locations and not someone’s personal place. The bed was broken or lopsided (one side is higher than the other) so if there are two people you will roll into each other all night. Parking wasn’t super great either it was almost $50 to find a spot to park all night and into the next day. You’re paying nice hotel prices for what would be considered a subpar hotel experience.
It is a great location, if you don’t have a car. Parking in downtown could be expensive. The building is a little bit old, but the apartment is clean and has a lot of light :)
Decent place. A bit pricey IMO but it is a great location. Building is old and it shows in the apartment. Toilet in bathroom was extremely lose and wobbly..not sure how it hasn't leaked yet. When we arrived, we noticed on of the windows was left completely open so the place was freezing upon entry. If your looking for a good location close to the action of Boston, this place may work for you if you don't mind spending a little more. Host was also great and helpful. Since we went during Covid-19, much of the city was closed so we sent more time in the apartment which was not desirable.
Stopping in Boston on our way back from a hiking trip, Steven's apartment was a great resting spot. It was beautiful and well kept, and in a great location.
I really recommend this stay! The apartment itself is very charming & the location is very convenient. It was close to a parking garage (~$26/night) and also within walking distance to quincy market and other points of interest. There is construction going on nearby and on our first night it was right outside. The host does provide methods to help combat it but luckily our second night the construction had moved further down the street. I also hope with the next stay that they do a better job with cleaning, as we did find a mask under a cushion. But that could have easily been missed. The host is very responsive thru the airbnb app for any questions & honestly I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Do NOT stay here. The construction noise is unbearable and you will not get any sleep. There is a large building being built down the block and they drill all day and all night long. The host is aware of the construction and has a sign in the kitchen saying there are earplugs and sound machines available. However, the sign is inaccurate and there are none available. The host is clearly aware of the problem and was not upfront.
This place was perfect for my short vacation in Boston. Very ideal location, close to bars, restaurants in little Italy or around. Nice clean space. There are construction noises to deal with within the area, but it didn’t bother me so much. Other than that it’s a great place

I really enjoyed my stay at this AirBnB. It was spacious, very clean, had good water pressure in the shower, cable TV, and a firm mattress. Check in was a breeze and it is in a great location in Boston. Plenty of restaurants/ pubs in the area. They are doing construction a block away and it could be troublesome if you're a light sleeper as they often work through the night.

Location was awesome. Walking distance to a lot of the attractions in Boston, if you couldn’t walk nothing was more than a $10 Uber ride away! Perfect little spot. Unfortunately the hot water did not work the entire first day we were there, the second day we were able to get some come through and the bed sags a lot so if you have a bad back be prepared to be a little sore. I would definitely stay here again, I would probably just bring linens for the air mattress that they provide :) overall it was a good experience

Great place and you can’t beat the location and proximity to downtown. The apartment is clean and the bed super comfy! There was a building getting demolished, at night, a block away which caused some noise. The hosts offered to relocate me but I was able to sleep through it with earplugs. If you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend, but if you are used to some city noise (which I’m not) then this is a great place.

Highly recommended if you want a stay in downtown Boston. Within walking distance to many great attractions and the T (subway) this place is great.

Great & very clean space! Close to a lot of restaurants & things to do. A touch cramped if you have more than two guests.
The location of this apartment was impeccable, so close to the harbor, Faneuil hall, TD Garden. The unit was very clean and had a great space for a meeting with my boss. It was a little loud at night with road traffics. But the black our blinds and comfortable bed made for a good night sleep. The apartment was extremely clean, and well finished with cable television and a nice kitchen area. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Boston.
This was a very cute and clean apartment on milk street. Great location. My only big issue is the construction noise at night which is loud. There is a new building going up down the street. Not the owners fault. I bought some ear plugs and it helped.

I loved the decor and the bed was super comfy for sleeping in on a cold day. Can’t beat the location, it’s close to a lot of amazing shops and restaurants. I would totally book again, mainly because of the quick responses to the questions I had. Thanks for making my stay chill and comfy.
Amazing location! It was just perfect for our stay. The building was quiet and conveniently located. The keyless entry was definitely a big plus and the apartment itself was quite open. There's some construction work down the street but they didn't start working til about 8:30am. No big deal. We'd definitely stay here again. The hosts quickly responded but weren't overbearing at all. Thanks for a great stay!
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
