Located a right between the Boston Common, Seaport, and North End, this Furnished 1 bed, 1 Bath apartment is a few minutes walk away from the action. Professionally designed & thoughtfully furnished, you have everything you need for a delightful stay. We've combined contemporary luxury in a vintage Downtown, 12 unit apartment building.
It was such a great stay. The neighborhood is close to so much and has so many options for food.
Such a beautiful home. I really loved how you could walk to so much, it’s very convenient. The place was extremely clean and has amazing hosts who are impressively responsive. It can be loud, but that’s to be expected. Definitely be weary of the elevator, but I didn’t run into too many issues. Overall such an amazing experience and I would 100% stay again very happily!
I am from Boston and a very easy walk to the bars and restaurants in Faneuil hall. 20 minute walk to the north end. Place was very clean and comfy. Had a great time!
Steven’s place was great. A central location and an affordable rate. It was plenty spacious enough if traveling alone or with a partner. I used it for a business trip and it was exactly what I needed.
It's easy to go to a nearby T station, and it was well cleaned up. Comfortable stay!
Would recommend. Tidy little place in the heart of FiDi. Easy access and comfortable
Stayed for a teacher’s conference. Very conveniently located in Downtown Boston. Enjoyed the fact that there was a full kitchen with dishes and a dishwasher! A little noisy at night, but loved the restaurants in the area!
Steven was accommodating & this location was perfect. Walkable to everything we wanted to see
Great place for a quick Boston experience, lots do doin walking distance and pretty much everything is just 15 mins drive from the apartment. There’s plenty of street parking available Avery reasonable price
We had a great stay! It’s on a street that is central to the business district and it’s walkable to just about everywhere, and if not the transit is a quick walk to get to.
Love staying here, I’ve stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so.
Great location and responsive hosts but poorly maintained unit. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an overflowing industrial-sized trash can outside the door which permeated throughout the apartment. The photos and description depict a bright, clean and updated space. The carpet was stained, floor tiles coming up in the kitchen, the furniture is dated and worn, bathroom tiles coming off the wall and the bathtub is worn stained. Several walls are patched and not repainted. Overall disappointed with our stay.
It was very conveniently located on Milk Street, nearby to the location I was visiting for a work conference. It was also near the Granary Tavern where I had to be later that night. Check in was easy, communication was good. It was very spacious inside. I barely was there for more than 24 hours but imagine it'd be great for a longer stay.
Spacious and homey, would book this again next time I’m in Boston
We chose the apartment for its central location which was the only advantage. The apartment ist located in really old building and they have AC in the windows. The windows weren't properly sealed so it was very loud and cold. All in all a very disappointing experience for this extremely high priced Airbnb. I cannot recommend it.
We enjoyed the stay a lot close to everything. Lots of street noise all throughout the night but a great stay in a great location
Everything was just as described. Steven's place was exactly as indicated, and the host's responses were very quick. The location in downtown Boston made it easy to access nearby attractions like Quincy Market. It might be a bit noisy at night, but it wasn’t too bothersome. Overall, everything was great.
Good location, very walkable to activities and restaurants Clean unit, but the description of luxury is a stretch. Value was good considering cost of local hotels.
Nice location and super convenient. Apartment is a bit dated and could use a refresh in the bathroom. Otherwise good.
Very clean
I highly recommend Steven’s place! Very accommodating and I especially appreciate the easy checkout instructions!
Building was easy to get into. The apartment was clean and organized.
The apartment was perfect to walk and explore the city! Nice and responsive hosts, our only note is that the check in time of 5pm is fairly late.
The location of this apartment is its strongest selling point. Centrally located with easy access to the train station, shops, restaurants, and bars. Easy to explore the city. The hosts were also accommodating. However, there are significant downsides. Trash was left outside the front door in the corridor, creating a strong, unpleasant odor that made entering and exiting the apartment gross. Inside the apartment, the dishwasher was detached and unusable - so we had to quickly wash dishes by hand before checking out. Additionally, there was an exposed electrical outlet hanging from the wall in the kitchen with visible wires. The apartment itself needed maintenance. It wasn’t filthy, but it clearly lacked proper upkeep. The listing photos were also misleading. They appeared to be from a different unit or floor within the complex, not the actual apartment we stayed in. While the location is excellent, the cleanliness, maintenance issues, and inaccurate listing were a disappointment.
Steven's place is well located and was easy to access. The kitchen is well equipped and the furniture is good. However, there is a need for some maintenance, particularly in the bathroom and we did not find the bed comfortable.
Perfect place to stay in Boston! We were in the middle of everything we had planned to see. Great place to stay as well and super easy to get to and in to.
I had a fantastic stay at Steven's place in Boston. The check-in process was seamless, and the location couldn't have been better. The apartment was spotless, and the refurbished building added a unique touch to the experience. I loved being within walking distance of so many great coffee shops and restaurants. Steven was an excellent host, and I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Boston!
This location is amazing for walking to all of the different areas of the city. The host responded to an amenity question very quickly. The place was clean, but the pictures looked nicer in quality than the actual apartment.
Steven’s place was clean, comfortable and fully stocked for our overnight stay in Boston. It is within a short walking distance to the North End, there are coffee shops, and tons of attractions in the area for those needing to play tourist. The apartment was easily accessible and Steven was quick to communicate when needed. It was a good find!
The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Very happy with the hosts and would rent from them again solely based on this. However, we found the apartment to be poorly maintained and not a good match for the high cost of renting. Examples include elevated floor tiles, which created a tripping hazard, an electrical socket that was 3/4 out of the wall, a broken garbage disposal, a closet door that you couldn't open without moving the bedside table, patched walls that haven't been repainted, a window A/C that was sealed with duct tape, and a window shade that wasn't closable. For the positives, the bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen had nice appliances and cookware, and the location was great and close to the aquarium and the blue line. Quiet too. Note: This is an older building that would be difficult to access if you have mobility issues. The elevator is VERY narrow (it wasn't working for us), and the stairs are steep and old-fashioned winding stairs.
Perfect location, owners were very responsive. Our unit was more outdated than the pics. I think a small cash infusion could have made a big difference. It worked for our trip, but was a little disappointed with the quality of the space. The trash was also outside of the third floor rooms and left an unpleasant smell.
Perfect location for what we had planned. Comfortable and quiet.
Me and my wife had a wonderful time staying here. It was a great location within reasonable walking distance to whatever ya may want to explore in Boston. My wife is a nurse and also found it nice that the host and organization help family’s and patients getting treatment in Boston. It’s nice to know that the cost of our stay isn’t only going towards a wonderful apartment but to help others as well. Thank you Steven and boston for a wonderful 4 days.
It was really awesome staying here. The apartment is very clean and the hosts are very nice and responsive. The hosts are flexible also. The location is just perfect it’s close to everything!! Close to downtown and seaport. I would definitely stay again here
Excellent location - we had a great time!
All good My best weekend in the Boston
Came here to visit my dad who’s getting treatment here in Boston. The place was easy to find and seemed secure. Check in was super easy and had no issues. The price of the place and the location was incredibly convenient for me. Lots to do just a short walk away and plenty of parking garages nearby. The apartment was just like the photos and exactly what I needed! The AC units were powerful too which was a huge plus during this heatwave. Wool definitely be booking another stay with the Healing Homes team!
We enjoyed our stay. The appartement was superclean and efficient. Towels and sheets were excellent quality and soft. All very comfortable and mych room fo the two of us. Getting in and out of the bathroom was amusing, with the bedroom and bathroom doors sort of overlapping. But not a problem. You do have to move one nightstand to be able to get into the closet, but again, it's not a big deal. The A/C worked well and the location is wonderful! The entire building was very clean and quiet during our 3 night stay. I recommend this appartement.
Great place to stay for a night, excellent location and good value. The team was very responsive to my needs.
Cozy apartment in downtown Boston in a stylish old condo, easy access, equipped with everything you need, we enjoyed our 3 day stay there, highly recommend, Steven was very helpful and responsive
Great location, very easy check-in.
Steven's place was in a fantastic location! It was easily accessible to everything we wanted to do. Everything was clean and he was very responsive if we had any questions.
We had an amazing time here. Could walk to many places and for being in a city was fairly quiet area.
Great place to stay in Boston, easy to get to/from the convention center.
It was my first time back in Boston since before COVID and my fiancées first time ever! The location of this airbnb was absolutely perfect! A 10 minute walk to the aquarium, 20 minute walk to the North End, and plenty of great restaurants and bars all within a 2 block radius. We literally walked everywhere all weekend, never ended up having to use an Uber once. The listing itself is very cozy, just the right amount of space for a long weekend stay. The building was also super quiet. As proactively described to us before arriving, the elevator in the building is quite narrow getting in and out of but that’s to be expected with an older apartment building. All in all, would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Boston. A huge thank you to Steven and the Healing Homes group!
Great place in the heart of downtown. Enjoyed the stay and was able to get around really easily.
A great place to stay in Boston, close to coffee shop, restaurants, bars and shopping. Nice neighborhood. If you like to walk it is a safe area to walk. Parking is a challenge if traveling by car, Boston is a walkable city.. I would return to this Airbnb.
This place is in a great location and a quiet building. The host was awesome and everything was simple and easy. We would definitely stay here again.
Steven’s place was a great spot for my week in Boston visiting for a work conference as it was very close to my office and right in the heart of everything. My only complaint would just be the appliances and bathroom were outdated and old. Granted as a homeowner doing an entire remodel is very expensive, but where I think things could be easily upgraded are like a newer/nicer coffee maker, with also leaving coffee for the guests, maybe some basic kitchen amenities/items. Also for the shower, the shower head and curtain were pretty cheap-y and could be replaced with something that works better? I feel like with just a few easy touches this Airbnb’s feel could be upgraded significantly! But overall, it’s worth the stay! Last item to note: the elevator is a little sketchy but it does work. Otherwise the stairs really aren’t that bad to take. Worth the money and stay!
The location is prime and Steven is a prompt responder and helpful host!
Great location, convenient check in. Appreciated the option for an early check in.
Thank you so much for letting me stay. I loved the place
Great, enjoyable stay, located in a great busy but quiet neighborhood! Easy accommodations and all in all fanstastic vibe.
There are so really good bars, aquarium, Faneuil Hall, and historic places within walking distance. It was pretty quiet and very clean.
This place worked perfectly for our stay. It was a great location for walking to the conference center, the north train station, boston common, Roche Bros. Groceries, and some very tasty restaurants close by. The place was clean and perfect amount of space. It did get load at night with traffic and people on the streets below, I suggest bringing some ear plugs and maybe eye clovers to black out the bedroom. The kitchen was slightly limited in kitchen utilities such as pans maybe a portable water filter for the fridge would be a good addition. The power outlets were all out in the living room which was corrected by resetting the breaker. The Wi-Fi for the actual room we were never able to use but luckily we could use another Wi-Fi owned by the same people so we could get some work done during our stay. There is pretty steep spiral stairs to access the rooms, with a very narrow elevator that would not be wheelchair accessible. Overall good stay.
Enjoyed a short stay in Boston, would stay in again.
I had a great stay here! Easy check-in with clear instructions and quick communication. Great location and walkable to many restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here for business trips or sight seeings!
Only bad thing was a giant billboard with a toddler on it staring at me right through the windows lmao. Otherwise the place was great 😂
Great place. Location is nice and quiet but just a 5 minute walk from downtown crossing, faniuel hall, and the north end. Fun staircases and even laundry! (Bring quarters). Love this spot
Great location and easy Check-in
This place was perfect for a quick work visit in the city. Check in and check out were very easy, Steven was good with communication and the place was mostly what it appeared to be online. My only small complaint was that the apartment could have been a tad cleaner and more finished. There were freshly patched walls with no paint (I don’t care but there was clearly work going on). Also could have been helpful to know beforehand that there was night construction going on right outside. I would’ve stayed either way but maybe would have brought ear plugs of some sort.
absolutely loved my stay- super nice and comfortable place (convenient location, warm even when it was freezing outside, clean, has everything you need) 10/10
I had a great experience. It was a perfect location, the hosts were very responsive, and overall I enjoyed my stay and thought it was perfect for the price!
Super clean and comfortable!
Overall great stay, however there are some improvements that can be made. I found that most outlets did not work. The pictures were slightly different than the actual Airbnb. This is in a shared apartment space, so that is also helpful to know. Very noisy and bright at night. Other than that- I am pleased with my stay!
Lovely quaint apartment in what felt like the heart of Boston. Very walkable and had everything we needed.
Great location, and close to the T. Just as advertised. Kitchen is spare-- had equipment to do minimal cooking, but no consumables (no oil, seasonings, etc.).
Great location, and close to the T. Just as advertised. Kitchen is spare-- had equipment to do minimal cooking, but no consumables (no oil, seasonings, etc.).
Super convenient location to walking to most sights and plenty of restaurants. Very nice sheets and bedding. We found the place to be a bit dated though.
I would not recommend this stay. Very basic so it is way overpriced. While the host communicated well they did not attend to a maintenance issue. Florescent lights are harsh. Felt like a place thrown together without much care. Tub did not drain. No coffee.
No frills, but interesting building and incredibly convenient location for both walking places and getting picked up by ride services. The apartment was clean and had all the items we needed to grab some groceries from Roche Bros just a short walk away and make a nice little launch pad for our Boston adventures. Able to walk to water, Children's museum, Aquarium, nice restaurants, etc.
The location was great for a week long trip of exploring! We were able to walk to get groceries, walk to the market for meals, and get back from the hop on hop off trolley routes and many major sites of the city. The bathroom however was a major disappointment. The bath/shower and sink take forever to drain making the showers difficult to stand and not very functional. In terms of supplies, there was only one partially used roll of toilet paper and two washcloths for two of us staying for an entire week. I would have packed some had I expected it, but then again this seems like a pretty basic thing that should be supplied. Also the dishwasher would not start so we had to hand wash our dishes upon checkout. Those are the major things to note just so you know what to expect going into it. We also requested white noise machines and an air mattress to which we were told they couldn’t supply air mattresses anymore, so we brought an extra suitcase with one on our flight. Coke to find no white noise machines but there was an air mattress?! Overall I’d still consider staying there again because of the location…they just need to figure those drains out and supply it a little better. We are in our 20s and struggled in that bathroom, so I couldn’t imagine trying to give a kid a bath with how quickly it got dirty while slowly draining or being older or less stable and trying to stand in a slippery shower with water over your ankles.
This place is exactly what the pictures show. The bed was very comfortable, water pressure great, water hot and kitchen clean. Heater works fast and well. Keep in mind, if you want to cook, you need to bring every condiment, oil, etc. Very basic selection of pots, utensils etc. I would definitely go back!
We had a great time in Boston! The apartment was close and convenient to everything. We walked everywhere very easily. We would definitely rent this place again!
The place was in a great location. Walkable to most places. Close to train/bus stations. The place could use some upgrades. The floor was bubbling, the tile and grout in bathroom could use some work. The water was so loud, I get that it’s an old building but it’s so loud. Also the water was way too hot. I would be concerned if a child were to bathe and mess with water temperature. Overall it was good place to stay I would probably stay there again.
Great location! Easy walking distance to many of the historic places. Quiet and safe building. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Bathtub drain was slow and probably needs some maintenance, but overall a pleasant stay. Steven communicated clearly and in a timely manner.
Cool place in a great, walkable location
Very nice property.
Loved the location and the overall vibe!
The location was about as perfect as it gets. That being said $880 for two nights, I would have expected a place that was more kept up. Stains on the carpet, patches needing paint on the wall, etc. Motels are usually in better shape. It was still one of the cheaper deals in downtown Boston, but I think for what’s being charged, a day’s worth of work from a handyman and a deep clean would go a long way.
This location is key for Boston! We were walking distance to so many great restaurants and things to do. The place is clean and very easy to find. Elevator for heavy bags. We had the smallest inconvenience of dead batteries in one the TV remotes, and Steven had new batteries on the door the next day without us even asking. So nice! Recommend this place!
First night I slept on the couch because I could not figure out how to turn off a flickering light in the bedroom. I contacted the property owner to let them know this was happening, I also informed them there is a garbage can directly next to the front door that smelled, each time we came in and out of the apartment we were having to swat away gnats. They were unable to send someone out until the next day to fix the light, which they did, but the garbage can was never moved. The second night was fine there, the noise of the neighborhood was tolerable. I'm assuming is worse during the summer months but you can hear EVERYTHING in that apartment partially because of just the thickness of the windows partially because with the window AC units its basically a thin piece of whatever vinyl that doesn't reduce any noise. The final night there was absolutely awful. This was a Friday night and this location is right next to a parking lot, some people had decided to crank up music around 2AM which we could not only hear but we could also FEEL in the apartment. This listing says that you can request ear plugs and/or a white noise machine, the owners know this is a potential problem, these items should be available in the apartment not via request. Contacting at 8pm didn't get a light fixed, they were not going to have someone swing by at 230am with noise deterrent and honestly, NOTHING would have helped this noise. We finally had to call 911 for some assistance.
Super clean and the location was perfect
Very comfortable apartment, had a great stay. Greatly appreciate the clear instructions from the Healing Homes team :)
We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable and the location was fantastic. If we ever come back to Boston, we would love to stay here again.
Good location with easy access clean apartment.
Great location and we had a nice time. Bring quarters if you want to do laundry.
Steven’s place was centered in the middle of everything we wanted to do and felt like a very safe neighborhood.
Great location and easy check-in for with a last minute stay in Boston. This airbnb has the basic essentials to have a short stay in a safe neighborhood.
Quiet location right in the heart of the city. Easy walk to all things Boston and right near South Station to get everywhere else.
My friend and I loved our stay! The location was perfect as we could easily walk to the North End, Aquarium, etc. The street was very quiet and not highly traveled. The inside was well furnished and clean. The host gave friendly and clear instructions ahead of our stay.
Perfect location. His suggestion for Spothero (for parking) was so easy and perfect. The apt is ideal if you want to stay in the LongWharf area.
Great place in the center of Boston, would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and clean accommodation.
Well done apartment, high quality experience as you'd expect from Healing Homes of Boston.
Very nice location, easy to get to destinations, secure entry, and a good floorplan but...the unit needs some attention. The tub doesn't drain while showering. Some wall tiles are coming off. Some lighting needs attention. Leave me enough towels for my stay so I don't have to call. The bath fart fan doesn't work. I had to download the Chromecast remote on my phone since the physical one doesn't work. Really...you just need to go in there as if you're a guest and update or rehab those things. It didn't keep us from having a great visit.
The location of this place is unbeatable! Walking distance to so many great spots. Apartment looks just like pictures, is clean, and super cute. If I ever am back in Boston, I will definitely be staying here again.
I loved this space, and highly recommend it. Great location, in the middle of the Commons and the Public Market, and lovely building and apartment space. My only complaint is that the check-in is 5 p.m. and the check-out is 10 a.m. .. That small details made things a little more difficult in travel, where I would usually anticipate a 2 or 3 p.m. check-in somewhere else and 11-Noon for check-out. Just feels disappointing to have that less time to use the space.
We had a great experience here for a long weekend. The location is fantastic and walkable to lots of things around Boston! The apartment was clean, and felt like a good value. The host is friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions on how to get in the building and into the unit! It was stress free for us after a day of travel or being out and about.
Spent 6 days in the airbnb! Pros: walkable to where we wanted to go, elevator, bed was comfortable, ice already waiting in the freezer, close to coffee houses, great location to what we needed, felt safe in area, quiet, and clean. Cons: smaller than the photos showed but was enough room for the 2 of us, if you want to hang any clothes in closet, you need to move one of the nightstands to be able to open the closet door, not enough towels and washcloths I felt for 5 nights (we each had one washcloth and 2 towels), 2 window air conditioners, one in bedroom and one in living area that worked fine but noisy as air window air conditioners can be so maybe a pro as kept outside noise to a minimum. Lavatory a pedestal so not much room to set anything on but there was a medicine cabinet above the lavatory. OVERALL, we enjoyed the airbnb and all my questions before we arrived were answered promptly.
Our stay was an absolute delight! Steven was an incredibly accommodating and considerate host. The property was lovely, well maintained, equipped, clean and the location can’t be beat! Thank you, Steven and the Hospitality Homes crew, for an exceptional experience in Boston made better knowing that our stay was in support of your mission to provide comfortable medical housing.
Perfect place for a couple or an individual to sit in the middle of downtown and explore the city. Even though you should be getting out and exploring the city with the great location, it’s also a nice place to take time and relax after long days. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place, in a convenient and sought after area. -Zeke
Beautiful stay in an amazing location! Responsive host. We had a great trip here.
This is a great place! It’s in a really central location downtown and is close to lots of restaurants. Check in and check out are easy. I recommend for a trip to Boston.
Great place and great location! Loved staying here.
Convenient location for a work trip
Perfect place to stay! Steven was very responsive to our messages! For sure would come again!
Steven's place was wonderful and had everything we needed for our stay.
My stay was so great! Check in was easy, the apartment is beautiful, and walkable to so many restaurants and different areas of Boston.
We loved this place for our 2 night stay. It is perfectly located in downtown Boston. Super close to a lot of great spots. Would absolutely stay again. Hosts were always quick to respond! I know some people mentioned it being noisy outside the apartment, but we didn’t really have any noise issues. However, I did end up taking a quite cold shower. I think someone else in the building might have been showering at the same time so my water didn’t warm up much at all. Otherwise amazing stay!
Steven’s place was as advertised and located in an area that was walkable to all the major sites. Highly recommend.
Loved the place. Great location, great space!
Lovely apartment close to everything! Steven and team were very helpful and answered questions quickly. The building is historical and interesting. You do need to make sure you bring your own stuff…coffee, tea, spices, etc. One review mentioned a lack of towels….in our experience, there were plenty of towels. The location of this Airbnb is absolutely perfect. Plus when you stay here, you help Healing Homes with their mission, which is super cool. Thank you Steven and team!
Booked this for a work trip and felt very lucky to be in this location. Read some reviews that noted the loud area, but I did not experience any problems with noise. The only challenge I encountered in this stay was that a few of the outlets and lamps in the apartment don't work. Otherwise I felt very comfortable and safe. Also grateful to be able to support this organization.
Location was great but basic repairs were not done Many things were broken Internet didn’t work
Lovely place. Glad to have supported a healing homes property :)
This is an excellent property in a truly wonderful location. There are a huge variety of wonderful restaurants in the immediate area, including an absolutely fabulous Irish Pub (Mr Dooley’s) and an excellent coffee shop (Tradesman Coffee). If you are looking for supplies there is a Walgreens that, oddly, does not show up on google maps, located directly across from the Old South Meeting House, a 5 - 10 minute walk away. Something to note, the map in the property listing is not very precise: the property is near Broad and Milk; the map circle center implies it is near Devonshire and Milk. The actual location is better: it is 5 minutes from the aquarium and harbor tours, 5 minutes to Faneuil Hall, and maybe 15 minutes to the North End and Boston Commons. The apartment is very nice. The living area is comfortable for an afternoon or evening of relaxing. It does not have supplies other than salt, pepper and coffee filters. There is laundry in the building, it is coin operated and not in the apartment. One note on the booking process: the actual booking is done by Healing Hands directly, not VRBO. This means that you will see a different company on the credit charge. So check to make sure that your credit card company does not flag the transaction, as it is a bit different from other bookings I’ve done. Interactions with the hosts were absolutely excellent. They responded in a timely manner and were great to work with. We were there to visit, but Healing Hands primary goal is to support people who need someplace to stay while they get medical care, so it was nice to help support that mission. Overall this was an fantastic apartment and highly recommended.
I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a great experience. The location was very central which made it easy to get around and explore the city. Checking in and out was a breeze, which I really appreciated. The house was clean enough and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One thing to note is that the area can get a bit noisy at night, but that's to be expected in a central location. It didn't bother me too much and I was still able to get a good night's sleep. Overall, I had no problems during my stay and would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in the area. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.
Really clean and convenient spot extremely close to downtown Boston! It was easy to find, and Steve was highly responsive. It is walkable and in close proximity to many of Boston's iconic areas including the North End, State Street, Quincy Market, Seaport, and others. Accessible by public transportation, and I would recommend SpotHero for parking. Overall a great deal!
Steven’s apartment was exactly what we wanted; warm and cosy, Netflix etc available, comfortable bed and sofa. The best thing about it all was how close the apartment was to an abundance of cool cafes and restaurants, as well as the Aquarium/ Quincy Market areas. Will definitely stay again!
I had to find a place last minute when a work trip got extended three extra days. This place was really close to where I needed to be, in a safe, walkable area. I was dealing with a bad injury and so walking around was hard- the team figured out a way to have someone help me carry my luggage downstairs at checkout when the elevator wasn’t working. The place looked just like the photo, the hosts were responsive and helpful. I recommend this place.
Wow. What a great spot to visit the city. Extremely central and quiet. Loved my stay there! Had everything we needed!
Place was great had everything we would need, unfortunately we only used the property to sleep. We didn’t have a need for the kitchen area.
This was a fantastic place to stay! It was the perfect location (right near everything while still being quiet and private), very clean, and communication with the host was pleasant and helpful. Incredibly positive experience and will most definitely be where I stay again in the future.
I will definitely want to go back to stay when I’m in boston next !! The location was ideal and easily walkable to a lot of the activities I had planned. A really nice space to live in whilst on vacation
This place is a must! Right in the city of Boston. Plenty to do within 5 min walks. Close to the T as well. The location was quiet at night as well!
Great location. Nice and clean. And surprisingly spacious. Bed was comfortable. I had plenty of hot water. Great location.
absolutely loved this place. it was so close to everything so transportation was never an issue and Steven was very responsive if you need anything. Definitely booking again when I come back to Boston
Basically a place to sleep for us. Easy access to the Freedom Trail. Would book again.
Steve and his team were very easy to get ahold of. Guests before us had a late checkout and they still had the place ready for us within an hour or two. Location was great and unit has everything you need, thanks Steve & Brian!
This place was nice and the location was perfect. Walkable to so much!! It’s definitely a basic Airbnb though. No extras - no extra towels, coffee, shampoo is a travel size 2-in-1 so I don’t really count that either. Bring everything you need! Also, as convenient as the location is, it was VERY loud at night. Not necessarily people, but a weird grinding on the fire escape right outside the bedroom window, and trash pickup around 5 am. So also bring ear plugs!
clean, great check in, but not quite as nice as the pics look. overall would recommend for if you need a spot you’re not going to spend much time in during your visit
We had a great time in this place! The location is excellent— 5 minute walk from Faneuil Hall, 15 minute walk to Boston Commons and Newbury street. Steven was always a communicative host, very friendly and helpful. The only run-in we had was that none of the plugs in the bedroom were working, but Steven was helpful and diligent in getting someone to come take a look while we were on the town. Plus, it makes me feel wonderful (especially during the holiday season) that the money I paid to stay go towards a good cause!
This place was a great location, everything walkable, or we just hopped on the subway. Many restaurants and bars nearby. It was a beautiful building as well, we loved the winding staircase. The apartment itself was clean and very nice. The only negative thing I have to say was the oven/stove did not work and the electrical outlets in the bedroom did not work. Only slightly annoying but Steven was very accommodating.
After spending time with the family for thanksgiving on the cape, I decided to spend a few days in Boston to decompress. The apartment on Milk Street was quaint, in and old brick apartment building in the Financial/North End of Boston. Spiral staircases to the upper floors were cool, and the old elevator gave the building charm. The apartment was clean and offered a kitchen with everything needed to cook, living area with smart tv, dining area, bath with shower and bedroom with queen bed with plush comforters and pillows. Over looking a HUGE billboard that lights up the entire living area might be an issue for some, I thought it added some personality to this centrally located apartment. Easy walk to North End, waterfront, Fanueil hall and quincy market. Neighborhood is safe and lots of foot traffic visiting the many bars and restaurants close by. The Hosts were very clear in communications. Check in was an easy process, with door codes sent to you the morning of your stay. Brian and Steven were quick to respond to several questions, and thorough with their suggestions. ( I got steered to a great Irish pub only a block away, along with luggage storage after a flight delay. A great stay and experienced a good taste of a Boston neighborhood on Milk Street.....I recommend!
the location was great, it was clean and more spacious than we thought, the check in instructions were clear and the bed was beyond comfortable - would 100% stay again!
Nice location, the place needs maintenance tho.
Nice place, centrally located and great hosts!
Steven's place was nicely located and close to all the touristy sites that you'd want to see in Boston. It was clean and well thought out and provided everything that was needed for a nice comfortable stay.
Perfect location and very responsive host. Highly recommended for singles or couples that want a central downtown Boston experience.
Perfect location, was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Very safe, all doors had a password. Price was just a little steep for the three nights we stayed. Other than that we had a great stay.
This was a great place to stay in an awesome location! We loved being in close walking distance to many attractions. Check in and communication was easy.
This apartment was the perfect combination of price and location.
Great spot! Very clean and simple to access. Incredible location!
Our stay was pretty good. Location is great, right downtown. Self check in was convenient, however we were not able to check in until 5pm which I thought was a little late. We had to find a place to put our bags and barely had enough time to shower before getting dinner. I understand that the apt has to be cleaned between guests but I thought that was too late. Overall cleanliness was ok, couch was old and used, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was very old, small, did not have a fan, mold in the shower. The kitchen was updated like new microwave, fridge and oven, however there were barely any utensils. I understand it's an efficiency but there was one single fork. For as nice as the photos were and newer kitchen, I was left feeling disappointed about the bedroom and bathroom spaces. This accommodation is the same price as a hotel, although there is more living space, I would have preferred a newer updated accommodations in a hotel. Host communication was great, we did not need anything during our stay. Overall I just felt not great for the value. Maybe would stay again, no issues.
Great location. Place has that old charm. Would do again
Staying on Milk St was great, you can basically walk anywhere or take the T. Everything is simple in Boston enough to understand in terms of transportation. I highly recommend staying with Steven and his team, everything in the listing was accurate and clean. Thank you! Highly recommend!
You cannot ask for a better location! This apartment is within walking distance to every main tourist attraction that Boston has to offer.
I was in town for business. This apartment met all of my needs (easy access, reliable Wi-Fi, kitchen essentials, cozy furnishings). It’s very centrally located, walkable to everything. The building is older and has a ton of charm, which I loved. The mattress was VERY firm, which didn’t bother me because I like a firm matters but if I didn’t it would’ve been uncomfortable. Would recommend this spot to a friend.
Great stay, perfect location, all I needed for a night.
The lock pad was difficult to operate, we really struggled getting into the apartment. The space didn't feel very clean, lots of general wear and tear, grime, hair and a stuffy smell, like an old hotel room. Only two small towels were provided, it would have been nice to have more. However the location was great! If you are planning on spending all day exploring the city and coming back only to sleep, and don't mind a space that's a little yucky, this would be fine!
This place was better ever I've stayed in few days. I don't make it myself much but only cooking noodles and making a coffee I bought. Just got help from communication with customer service was so easy. You can find anywhere you can go that near this place I stayed. I highly recommend it!
Amazing location! So close and walkable to everything : )
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
